  1. none of us will probably stand a chance, Corporal... It's just a matter of who's got the most reckless bravado.
  2. better than just sitting back and doing nothing about the problem though, now isn't it? and discharge has a 30% chance to paralyze, soldier, not 10%. and the only reason Mareek wanted to use an electric type attack to intercept it was to cause it to detonate prematurely and act more like thunderwave than an actual attack. Though yeah, chances are, we just made things worse... but in our defense: The snorlax already seemed pissed off from how the scene sounded before any action was taken. Who's to say Sergeant Chim wouldn't have just had it's anger rise as it got hungrier anyway?
  3. "Alright...JAVA!" Mareek shouted, swapping into japanese. "Do it!" The Porygon did as was expected, blasting Nemo with a Discharge. The cubone didn't even have to be cued, he raised his club high above his head like Thor, and his body began to glow brightly with silvery light. a few moments later, the sphere of power he had created blazed a bright golden in the air, ready to be launched. "Kodai Kaminari" the same firing cue from when they had practiced it earlier. Nemo unleashed the sphere, sending it flying straight for the Snorlax. Then just as planned, Voltage unleashed his Shock Wave, hitting the sphere dead just as it was about to make contact with the giant. The thing burst apart instantly, giving off a harsh, golden light that engulfed the area around the snorlax, as Mareek had hoped... the sound of loud, crackling electricity filled the air, audible even from where he and Robert stood. He turned to the boy as the light pulsated a few times, before starting to die down... "I have no idea if this worked, but now's the moment of truth..."
  4. "Alright, now hold on for a minute," Mareek said, turning to java. "Go get Nemo, he's over by the dinner table over there," he jabbed his thumb in the direction of the table that Slade and Danielle sat at. The Porygon hovered off as ordered a second later. Nemo's attention was drawn away from Slade when suddenly something bumped into him from behind. he turned around to find none other that the weird angular thingy that was one of his team mates. Nemo shook his club at the Porygon in a gesture meant to convey 'Not right now, wait a minute' But all Java did was nodd his head over in Mareek's direction. The cubone turned to see the trainer looking right at him along with a stranger... guess he had sent this thing to come get him for some reason. The orphan cast a single glance back at Slade and Danielle, nodding at the red haired boy in an encouraging manner, then ran off the table after Java, who had already begun heading back. Mareek looked back at Robert once Java had returned with the ward, nodding at the other student's Elekid. "Alright, here's the plan; I've got a tactic worked with these two," he pointed at the Porygon and Cubone. "I call it Ancient Lightning. basically Java here hits Nemo with a Discharge attack, and using his Lightning Rod ability, Nemo channels the electricity as he uses an Ancient Power and combines the energy into a single attack. Now, I'm going to order the two of them to use it, and listen very carfeully; right before it hits that Snorlax, you NEED to order your Elekid to use Shock Wave, and it has to be right on time. too soon, and it might not work, to late and the plan will also fail. Right before it makes impact, you got me?" As he spoke, Java was already beginning to charge up his part of the combo...
  5. "No, I don't, Unfortunately," Mareek admitted. not paying any mind to Avis flying up from behind. "Not a single member of my team is capable of inflicting Sleep... though I should really think about getting some status moves...Anyway, if we can't put it to sleep, then at the very least we'll have to try to neutralize it with something like paralysis. If we can stop it from moving around, then we can go from there to resolve the issue..." He took out the only occupied Capsule still left on his belt, depressing the trigger and sending out Java. The first thing the porygon did was look over at the Snorlax and roll his eyes exasperatedly, as if to say "Really? we gotta deal with this now?" "I think I can handle it if my theory about something is right... but real quick, do you have any electric types?"
  6. I know, It's precisely the fact that he isn't which is the reason why Nemo has to intervene. as for the lapras thing, ask Private Darklight, soldier. EDIT: Also, I beleive someone had hypnosis at some point? am I correct on this?
  7. not if Nemo can help... Slade didn't bother to think what Danielle might feel about the sentence: "Well, there's this girl I like and I want to tell her my feelings," Oh yes, that's just what every girl who has a crush on a guy wants to hear, that he apparently has affections for someone else...
  8. Nemo looked up from his food when he heard Slade's latest attempt to dance around admitting his feeling. Just as his trainer had been before he went to go handle something, the Cubone had been keeping ears open for Slade and Danielle's discussion. He had the hunch that if Mareek were here at this moment, he'd go over and yell at slade to stop being a pansy about it and tell the girl up front... but he wasn't. so that meant Nemo should do it for him, right? "Cube!" he called, getting up and suddenly rushing across the tabletop to where Slade and Danielle sat, hitting the red haired boy lightly with his club to draw his attention. He gave Slade a hard, serious stare as he stood there inbetween the two, as if to say "Tell her the truth."
  9. Galen Galen opened the door and strode into the room, still wearing his fake cop uniform and aviators from last night as he took a seat at the desk where Teach sat, sitting opposite of the man. "Then let's get right to it, Teach. Is my team ready?" Mareek "Why is he stalling like this?" Mareek asked. He couldn't believe that Slade still hadn't admitted to Danielle yet, was it that hard for him to just ask to talk alone? He was honestly contemplating yelling out 'Stop the damn stalling already!', but before he could even open his mouth, a commotion in the distance caused by a snorlax drew his attention away... but it was drawn right back when Slade tried using it as an excuse to not continue his conversation with Danielle. "Eh, Slade," he called, standing up from the table. "Don't worry about the snorlax, you just stay here and tell Danielle what you need to tell her, alright? You know what I mean..." With that he headed off towards the commotion, leaving Nemo and Erce behind to finish eating. He noticed another student as they sent out a Goomy and piled spaghetti on a plate atop it's head before sending it off towards the hungry glutton. "That's pretty clever," he said, walking up to Robert. "But I hope you have some way to put it back to sleep; because that paltry amount of spaghetti isn't going to placate it's hunger, not even a little."
  10. Stun spore might or might not work depending on Sergeant. And Poison powder will probably only make the situation worse... Anyone have the move "Spore"? that could work just as well I think. EDIT: Mareek: "You know what, slade? I'll handle the snorlax, don't let it bother you. just tell danielle what you need to say to her." You're welcome, exlink... XD
  11. Soldiers, anyone got a partner who knows the move "Sleep Powder"?
  12. I'll edit my post then. OH poor, poor Elemus... the blackmail is very real...
  13. "Well, fuck a duck..." Elemus muttered upon hearing the Headmaster's proclamation. Quite honestly, he'd just lost a great deal of certainty in the man's intelligence... What the hell had the old fool been thinking!? The parties didn't even fucking matter at the end of the day! the city was still going to ultimately stand more or less the same regardless of who leads, and yet here he goes, giving them some imaginary import, making things even harder for Gifted, including himself, for whenever he might see fit to enter into a contractual occupation like he had with Leon, he was just lucky the Swords fanatic had no idea of his Gifted status... but fuck it all, would this complicate things in the future...but not the present, not if he made sure of it... "Remember our deal, girl..." he snarled, looking Lucille right in the eye. "One word to your brother, and I'll be just as fast to reveal yours to him as thanks." "I'll only break our pact if you do so first," Lucille replied, snatching her arm away without much success. "And why are you so upset anyway? as things currently stand, Leon has no reason to fire you, and you've obviously proven that you know how to hide your ability better than I do. If anything, you should be angry for all those who don't have the luxury of criminal enterprises to fall back on for income, and who find hiding their status...distasteful." Leon's eyes widened in surprised, his grip tightening. He wanted nothing more than to strangle this little bitch right here and now... but no, the repercussions were far too great a risk. She's less of a danger to his interests alive than she is dead for the time being... "How did you find this out?" He demanded. "I have my own way of finding out things, just like you claim to." was all the girl answered with, followed by. "I suggest you release my arm now. Any harder and you'll leave a bruise that will have to be explained somehow." "You little..." Elemus snarled like a rabid dog as he reluctantly released his grip, allowing Lucille to break away. This was just great... simply fantastic! today he had not only heard this announcment from the Headmaster, culminating proof of the man's stupidity, that would surely cause issues in the future for him, but he'd also found out that the Blood girl had somehow learned of one or perhaps even several of his side jobs. Marvelous, fucking marvelous indeed! Now the little bitch had far more leverage over him in their deal than he could ever hope to gain. And damned if Elemus knew what he wanted to do now... one part of him screamed in favor of moving his hand to his back and drawing the knife he hid in his belt to give her a jab to the heart... but another part screamed in reprimand of the first, saying that killing her would only dig a hole he wouldn't be able to escape from without starting a snowball effect of killings. The amount of people he'd have to eliminate to cover his tracks would be absolutely ridiculous... and he'd doubtlessly STILL get caught eventually. Despite his arm already slowly moving towards his weapon on it's own accord though, he knew the second part of him was right... he'd just have to be prudent about the girl in the future...make sure she feels that she has more to gain from maintaining the pact than she does by spilling the beans. "Alright, girl... you win for now..." "You had that damn hawk follow me one day, didn't you?" he finally said, voice far calmer than it was moments ago. He forced his hand to move away from his knife hilt, bring it back to his side. "The very day you made your contract with Leon," she confirmed. "So I've known literally from day one... but why would you care if I did? Afterall, who would take a blind woman's testimony as proof for a crime?" there was hint of smugness in the last part, a smirk on Lucille's face. "People who don't know the woman to be blind..." Elem was beginning to grind his teeth again. The bitch just had to stand here and rub it in, didn't she? "Ah, that's right," She continued. "But of course, if they don't know she's blind, her words hold the same weight as anyone elses. Very good, Elemus, you finally realize how far I've got you set up." "What do you want...?" Damnit all, and now he was being blackmailed...by a blind girl. what a lucky bastard he was, eh? "Go on, it has to be something..." "Nothing," Lucille admitted. "I don't want anything from you, hunter. I'm just bringing this out now as insurance. to make you think twice before turning on me and my brother, if you intend to do that in the future. honestly, from what I saw through Theo that first day, I pegged that as probably being inevitable. It's simple; I don't think you can be trusted, I never have, you're just one of those few people who I can never think of as actually being good. You lie and you manipulate and you kill as you need. I know you're using us, Elemus, I know you're scum, beyond redemption or a second chance." "Get to the damn point..." "Fuck us over in anyway, And I'll bring down everything on your head. And even if you kill me or Leon, or both of us, I've taken measures to make sure what I know will still get out, so you'd just be wasting your time." "How much have you seen?" Elemus was beginning to see that the Blood girl was far more of a danger to him than probably anyone else. But at least her danger would only ever lie dormant, if he handled things well, that is. And it could be far worse... she could've demanded a cut of his outside profits. Instead all she wanted was assurance he wouldn't try anything against them. As a large source of his reliable income, he didn't even have any such thing planned anyway, so honestly... this whole little crisis was completely nullified. maybe today would prove to be a good day afterall. But he'd have to be weary of Lucille from this day forward; She'd just proven to be a very competent and very deadly opponent to his enterprises... "Fine then, if those are your terms," he said, relieved that this whole thing pretty much left things unchanged for the most part. "Then you'll find no issue from me. I had no intention of crossing you two to begin with. You honor your end of the contract, I'll honor mine. It's as simple as that." "Good to know we have an understanding on the matter then." Lucille said, turning away from him and back towards the murmuring of the crowd, as if the conversation had never even taken place. Soon the headmaster spoke up again, announcing that those wishing to join a party could enter the school to be evaluated. The only thing Elemus wanted to do at this point was get the hell out of here and get paid... unfortunately, Lucille had other plans. She honestly wasn't all that intrigued by politics... but with Leon's changes not long ago, she had garnered a bit more interest in the parties, out of sheer necessity rather than actually wanting to. And this was a chance to see what about the Swords could have possibly enthralled her brother so. She wasn't about to pass up such an opportunity. "Take me inside, will you?" she said to Elemus, in a tone suggesting her blackmail of him had never occured, as if they were two old friends out on a stroll. "No, we're heading back, now, and you're going to pa-" "I'm terribly sorry, Elemus, but what makes you think you have the leverage to make any demands right now?" The man got her point at that, though he still didn't move as the crowd began to thin out around them as more people entered the school. Finally Lucille pushed a little harder. "You don't do it, and you can kiss your payment good bye, understand?" That was enough to get him to comply. without another word he took hold of Lucilles arm (In a different spot this time) and headed off through the now opened gates of the school along with the others in the crowd.
  14. ((Cubone's nickname has been changed to "Nemo")) "Hm...?" Mareek was awoken from his bit of nodding off by the sound of Nemo's growling stomach, the cubone sitting up and looking out over the horizon hungrily. "Oh, that's right... just because I might not be hungry doesn't mean that you guys aren't." He reached down to his belt and released Erce from her Capsule, sending the mantis out into the sand, where she stood beside Nemo. Her own stomach rumbled a little. "Then I guess that settles it," he said. "Come on, let's go get some food for you." A moment later he sprung up from the ground, hands in his pockets. Nemo and Erce followed behind him as he picked up two bowls of poke-food and walked it back over to them, not far from where Slade and Danielle were sitting at a table. He sat down on the far end of the bench, back turned to them as he watched his team start eating. His choice seemed random at a glance, but it was anything but. He figured he'd sit here to be able to make sure Slade didn't screw anything up; that he'd actually go through with the advice Mareek had given him. He leaned back though, giving no indication he could hear the conversation the two were having further down the table.
  15. well... it is dinner time. So I assume it's at least evening, soldier. Ah, sergeant... I see you are a master of ninjutsu as well.
  16. Mareek nodded as his roommate finally got the message and went out to follow his advice and Flare followed out with him. Cubone nodded at him in turn, holding up his bone in approval of the speech he'd just delivered. Mareek honestly didn't pay him any mind though, simply sitting on the bed that Slade had just gotten up from. "A sadistic bitch indeed, Irony..." he finally verbalized dejectedly. "I'd honestly be feeling a little less shitty if my advice hadn't worked just now...but eh, just because I have to go through this doesn't mean I should drag down other people along with me... it's my issue, after all, and not their burden." all Cubone could do was sink back a little, a tad sad that Mareek was back like this again... it seemed he really hadn't helped his trainer at all. then his attention was drawn back up when Mareek rose and headed to the door, an unreadable look on his face. "Come on, we're heading back outside..." Cubone followed behind quietly as his trainer exited the cabin, noticing the bird he'd seen earlier fly out after them and give a subtle nod to Mareek before flying away, though the boy didn't even notice it. Mareek toke note that dinner was being served... but he honestly didn't feel that hungry. A secluded area near the edge of the rise that the Campsite was on was the place where the boy finally stopped, sitting down and prompting for Cubone to do the same beside him. IT wasn't long before he was lying down in the sand, staring up at the sky, propping the back of his head up on his arms. Cubone figured he should probably follow suit, putting his club done beside him, making sure it was still within reach. "A lot's happened today, you know..." he sighed, staring into the waning evening light of the sky. Cubone only glanced at him. "A lot indeed... but there's something that honestly bothers me... you still don't have a name. both Erce and java got one the first day they joined me... but here we are, it's almost nightfall now, and you're still the black sheep of the team." he paused for a moment, considering that choice of metaphor. "Sorry, didn't quite think how that probably sounded before It was out of my mouth. Anyway, my point is, you need a name, and we're running out of time." So this was what he was getting at? Cubone only now noticed that his other two team mates indeed had special names his trainer always called them by... he had just never thought he himself would get one. but now that he was faced with the prospect... he really did want a denotation to call his own. Mareek laid there for a few moments longer, racking his mind for potential nicknames... nothing came to mind, the creative spark he usually had was nowhere to be found right now. Maybe there was a reason though... "I...can't think of anything." he finally admitted to cubone. "But maybe that's because... there is no nickname that will ever suit you, nothing that'll ever fit just right." Cubone was a bit sad at that... until Mareek said. "So why don't we just call you what you really are? why not... Nemo?" Nemo... Cubone... freaking loved that name. just the way it sounded and flowed, simply perfect. he looked over at Mareek, nodding eagerly, his eyes sparkling. "Good to see you like it," Mareek said. "Nameless it is then, you're officially a part of the team now." With that he stopped talking altogether, just looked right up at the evening sky. Cubone respected the silence, reveling in the fact that now he had a name of his very own; regardless of how ironically ironic it was.
  17. Here's one, Soldiers, surprised it's not up already... Cite your grievances When something comes up, whether it be IRl stuff, circumstance, or an dispute that honestly can't be resolved civilly and is best to just walk away from, or even just because you've lost your interest, your spark of creativity, or the will to go on, Don;t ever, EVER go into an OCC and resign from an RP simply by saying "I'm leaving." Without giving or citing any reasons what so ever as to why you're leaving. That's essentially like being the member of a sports team, and then just all of a sudden saying "I'm bailing, have a good life." and leaving you team mates standing there, completely vexed as to why the hell you just decided to leave. Now, personally, as a Host, Soldiers, if you were to try that in my RP, I'd say "Alright, if you want to leave, then you can leave... after you tell me why though." This is based on a very basic principle, one that is simple to understand; No one likes being left in the dark. and this goes especially as such when that certain "No one" in question, is running things. If you're have to leave an RP or for some reason develop the desire to leave, then you TELL the host the REASON why, understand? because if you don't, the host is left there, essentially thinking "Dafuq did they just leave for? what went wrong here?" This rule also cascades into another principle; if you're dropping, be prompt with your notification, don't wait around for weeks to say anything and make the host wonder where you are, and you had better dang sure make sure that the host gets the info directly, whether it be in OCC or PM between the twos of you, they shouldn't have to hear something like "One of your players is quitting" through the damn grape vine, that honestly just seems a bit disrespectful to me. Now then, with the promptfulness aspect, if something IRL comes up, and you can't get on for a long while, and you need to resign, then it's a completely different story, you just get notification directly to the host when you can. but if you've just lost interest, then that's no excuse, you TELL them that your dropping in a timely fashion, and you cite your specific grievances when you do it.
  18. summary of Mareek's Advice: "You're gonna sit here and whine about shit like this to me, man? really? I have to put with worst... Look, damn it, she likes you too, she's obviously not going to enter a ship with this other guy, so just tell her how you feel... now, get out of my sight." Much coldness, very wow, Soldiers. Thank god this kid is getting the Blissey line eventually...he probably needs it more than any other PC... and I'm going to keep pushing him throughout the plot...will he be able to withstand my Ultimate Trope though? hmm... only time may tell... EDIT: and so it is that an Ironic name has been bestowed...
  19. "she likes you, ya know..." Mareek blurted as soon as Slade was done. "Lana first pointed it out to me yesterday, but I could honestly see what she meant as soon as she told me. I've seen the way Danielle's been glancing at you from time to time, especially lately... I just never gave it much thought before. But after that, it be came very obvious to me Slade... I'm fairly certain that she likes you as well. There's most likely not anything Going on between her and Jacob, at least, it wouldn't really make an sense if there was." He walked over to bed, a certain coldness in his eyes as he stared down at his roomate, along with just a hint of the slightest smugness. "And I was right when I told Lana afterwards that chances are, you're completely oblivious to the whole thing. Now get up, you're not going to make yourself feel any better by laying in here sulking. I have to put up with even worse crap then this on a daily basis, but you don't see me giving up; I just keep going, keep trying, because my problem can't resolve itself, I have to take action in order to try to end it. That's something I realized earlier today, Slade." Cubone's attention was drawn away from the door by his Trainer's speech, a hopeful glint in it's eyes as he watched him continue... maybe that problem was the same one he had seen earlier? That meant he had helped, made himself useful. How joyous for him. "So go on, Get up," Mareek ordered. "Get out there and tell her how you feel about her, DO NOT tell her I or Lana said anything about it though, I don't want a reputation as a guy who goes around gossiping about people behind their backs, and I'm sure Lana wouldn't want one either." he went over to the door, his Cubone sensing what he wanted and opening the wooden slab, holding it ajar. Mareek turned back to face Slade expectantly, hands in his pockets. "And one more thing, Slade," he said, his voice colder and harsher than he honestly meant it to be. "Be thankful you can even feel that way about anyone... I've come to find that something in my heart keeps stopping me from being able to do the same. now... get out, go ask Danielle to speak alone, and tell her how you feel, you got me?" He leaned back against the wall, thinking he'd done the job fine. It was sound advice, he felt sure of it... too bad he himself just couldn't... actually follow it. "Oh Irony... you sadistic, cruel bitch..." he thought to himself "I can sit here and preach these words to someone else all day long... but the moment I try following my own doctrine, I become worse than a coward..."
  20. Mareek did as his Roommate requested, following behind and leaning against one of the bunkbeds after he entered the room, shutting the door a little to prevent anyone from just waltzing in. "So what's going on?" he asked Slade as Cubone took up a position by the entry way, like a sentry.
  21. "Um...sure, I don't see why_not..." Mareek easily caught the tinge of sadness in Slade's voice through the door, ignoring Flare as the Growlithe went to doing weird things to seemingly try to get Danielle's bird out of the room. Cubone stood there watching the two curiously though as his trainer continued. "Why don't you come out of there first though," the boy went on to say. "Afterall, it's kinda hard to have a serious talk through a bathroom door." ((I'm assuming the bathrooms are single person and not like the types with stalls. correct me if I'm wrong about this, soldiers.))
  22. It wasn't long after the Party had grudgingly entered through the Gates that they all arrived at the central plaza. The ground was inlaid with intricate patterns in the colors of the Guard. Trees of all types lined the area, along with a variety of wild flowers and other plants that should've been impossible to even grow this high in the mountains. Torches sat in bronze braziers, providing ample light. Benches of richly carved stone ringed the circular perimeter, assembled in pairs of two at a time. the place, all in all, was approximately some 300 feet in diameter, huge to say the least. Members of the guard were visible up in the tree tops, snipers sitting there in every single one it seemed, gazing at the group, but weapons lowered. But that honestly didn't matter to Eric that they weren't pointed at them, simply the fact that Rosse had so obviously lied to their faces... not that he was surprised, but his lack of alarm at the matter didn't douse his growing fury in the least bit. "Trust you, you say..." he mocked at the man as the two of them entered after everyone had arrived. "My men and I are unarmed, you say... a load of bullshit, just as I predicted. Prepare yourself..." The glyph in his hand began blazing whencemore, as did the one branded on rosse's shoulder. "I've told you all no lie at the gates," The conqueror said, quick to rise to his own defense. "Yes, my men are unarmed,as am I... but you insult my snipers here, good sir, look closely, you'll see they are all women, and the best the Guard has at it's disposle at that..." "Valkyrie corps..." Eric snarled, gazing up at the trees one more time and seeing that the man was right... and technically not lying. "Fine, Monster... but remember, anything at all, and-" "Yes yes, I know already," Rossephus interupted. "You'll kill yourself and take me with you, you've made you're point, boy... unfortunately you won't be able to keep it." Eric's eye's lit up in realization at that. Something...was about to go down. Before he could say anything though, he felt a searing pain in his upper back, thrown forward and landing face first on the ground, unable to move. He knew this was poison, precisely what in fact... the extract from the Leaves of a Blood Root bush. Whereas the roots purified tainted blood, the leaves themselves caused paralysis... and forced slumber even in high enough doses. "Bastard..." he croaked from the ground. "I'll...End you..." he faded away into unconsciousness before he could fullfil his deadly promise though, unable to envoke his magic. The mark on Rosse's shoulder faded as he knelt and retreived the large, 8 inch dart that had been fired into Eric's left shoulder just shy of his spine, holding it up for the Travelers to see. "Forgive me," He said, sounding like he genuinely meant it... and he was looking right at Cesealia as he said it, the young woman falling from Blackjack's back just as he finished speaking. She hit the ground and lay there motionless, Blackjack and his brother glaring at Rosse, as were the other horses of the pack, looking ready to stampede the auburn haired man if nessacary. Elibus trotted forward from Matrim's side, eye's full of fire, expecting some type of ambush to come. No more poison tipped arrows came though. Only two Snipers out of all those in the trees had even raised their weapons, and were now lowering them once again. Rossephus glanced at the two sleeping subjects on the floor of the plaza, then turned his sights back to the travelers. "They're nothing but dangers to the world's future, you have to understand," he began. "There's no way either of these two would've listened to reason, their minds were already dead set on me being as much of an enemy as what I fight against... even her." He pointed to Cesealia's motionless form. "She was intending to either slit my throat or cut the spinal cord, whichever necessary. Go on, check her person before you go trying to attack me. She gave the air of being unarmed, did she not, feigning to be useless without Magic and the spheres? not so, go on, check her, you'll find a dagger some 7inches long hidden somewhere. The doors to the castle opened before anyone could respond, and out stepped a familiar giant of a man, nearly some seven feet tall. A bastard sword of pure black was strapped to his side, his cloak, formerly white, blood stained and burned, lying in tatters around his shoulders. His armor was cracked and dented, stained with a mysterious black substance, his breast plate hanging off by the leather strap. He said only one thing to the travelers though, not a greeting or inquiry of how they were doing... but instead just two, simple words with as much authority as he could muster. and he looked at his adopted daughter as he did, eyes hard as stone. "Do it."
  23. Alright, sounds good. shoot me any necessary details over the PM we have going for him, Sergeant.
