  1. Mareek listened as everything was explained, sighing a little when the actual conflict was revealed. "God, why do some people not know how to treat others nowadays... it's fucking ridiculous..." His thoughts were broken by the sight of the Flygon descending and dropping off the same boy he'd seen hobbling away not long ago, along with the affection between him and another male student, whom Mareek presumed to be his "Boyfriend". Honestly, as far as he could see, the crisis was about over, and it wasn't quite as messy as the others had been. "Well if everything's all straight here, no one's out missing or anything, I guess I'll just get back to-" "Ummm..... I....." Mareek looked over to see his roomate blushing now for some reason, he assumed it had something to do with what danielle had just said though... "I need to go to the bathroom be right back!" "What the hell is this about?" he asked as the other red haired boy ran off towards the males cabin, disappearing inside. "I haven't seen him act this weird since that first night on campus..." he returned his team save for Cubone, heading off after him and entering the cabin just in time to see the door to the bathroom just closing. He saw something moving out of the corner of his eye, turning to find Danielle's murkrow, though he ignored the bird for now and knocked on the door, presuming Slade to be inside. "Slade, man," he began. "What the hell was all that about? You looked flustered for no reason back there."
  2. Skullkin has said to me Via the same PM as PWB that she will be dropping as well due to being to busy to keep up. As it seems Sergeant grass has come back and moved Mystigue and Verdance along, I will update for Tempest and Seacrest later on tommorow. Ace will become like Roy for the time being and be an NPC conrolled by myself until Murdoc Returns.
  3. I asked the same question this morning when I got on, soldier...
  4. Mareek had started working with Java and his new team member as soon as his group had gotten back to the Encampment, having found a large enough area for Cubone to stand at one end and the Porygon at the other, like a duel almost. He'd been shouting his orders in Japanese, Java understood perfectly, but the other one had to have a few trials before he started to learn what Mareek meant, soon he had it done just as good as the Co-Strategist though. Mareek had been attempting to get them to work out a combo between the two, Something he had coded as "Ancient Lightning", or "Rajiin & Okami's wrath" as he liked a little better. They'd finally managed to get it right just a short while ago, and now the trainer wished to push it to see how far the attack could possibly be taken. "Again!" he shouted in his native tongue. Java carried out his part, using Discharge on Cubone, whose Lightning Rod ability, coupled with his ground typing, made it harmless... to him at least. Then as soon as the attack closed in and hit him, the cubone raised his club into the air, his whole body glowing a silvery white as a sphere of the same color grew in front of him as he used Ancient Power. The electricity Java was still firing at him mixed with the power it was drawing up, changing both the glow of it's body and the sphere, from a silvery white, to a bright, golden hue that glowed beautifully in the air. "Kodai Kominari!" that was the cue to fire. Cubone did as needed, releasing the sphere and sending it flying into the sky, where it burst into a mock aurora of golden, silvery light after many meters and then faded shortly afterwards. The boy looked down proudly at the two, nodding to signify that their training for the combo was done. "Great work you two," he said, swapping back to english. "I think we're about done for now." Erce, who had been watching beside him the whole time, nudged his shoulder suddenly as she gazed at one student on crutches hobbling off into the forest, heading towards the mountains. "What-" he didn't have to finish. he could see what she was trying to draw his attention to. There was a group of people not far away, seeming to have something to do with whatever was going on. "Of course... seems that someone always runs off," he sighed, not very surprised given Slade's stunt at the beginning of school. of course something was probably going to happen on this trip, given it had at the academy, and again at Prof.Cadmus' garden. "Might as well try to go see what's going on and help if we can..." Erce followed behind him as he headed over to the group, the scyther gesturing in an authoritative way to Cubone and Java to do the same. The two were tired, but they figured Erce probably knew best about what was wanted from the three of them from Mareek... well, Cubone did at least, Java just followed because he didn't feel like being left out. "Eh, Slade," he called, automatically choosing to ask the one person he probably knew best out of the little assembly. "What's going on here? why'd that guy run off into the woods like that all of a sudden?"
  5. Well damn, only gone for a day and things start heating up XD. Alright, soldiers... looks Like I outta start catching up...
  6. Lucille stood in the very outskirts of the crowd, a hooded cloak draped over her Blouse and Dress to conceal herself as she looked out over the assembled masses with eyes that seemed perfectly fine yet saw nothing, a few strands of her blonde hair poking out from under the hood and dangling in her face. She would've covered her ears to the din around her... but that honestly would just deny her all orientation rather than actually help anything. All the chattering and commotion made it virtually impossible for her to focus on any one sound, but at least she knew it was coming from infront of her. Elemus still gripped her by the arm, clamped down like a vice. The hunter had guided her just like this once they had gotten closer to the gates, having gotten annoyed by her stopping and refusing to continue when the noise had gotten so loud that she could no longer Echolocate effectively. She was perfectly fine with him being annoyed though, because it was his own damn fualt; had he allowed her to bring along Theo, the man wouldn't have to guide her himself right now. "You didn't mention anything about the noise..." She said, a bit miffed about the man telling her she couldn't bring her hawk. "What did you expect?" Elemus answered, gripping a little tighter since she was beginning to annoy again. "It's a crowd, girl. A high amount of noise should already be implied by the mere word. And besides, if you don't like it, then that's your own fault; you paid me to take you along with me today, recall? I didn't ask you if you wanted to go, nor was I planning on having any company for this, especially company that's blind as a damn bat." She didn't have anything to say to that... the Hunter had a point. But she didn't let it drop quite yet. "You Could have at least let me bring Theo, though, if you knew it was going to be this bad..." "You say you take that bird with you whenever you go out, didn't you?" Lucille nodded to the man, not quite seeing where he was going with the question. "Then that means it's a habit, something that can be noticed. The surest and fastest way anyone would know you were gone is if the Hawk was nowhere to be found. Ergo, you leave the hawk behind and break that habit, and you lower the chance of being discovered so easily. Now stop griping about it." She did. Elemus turned his attention back to the gates when he had finally shut the girl up, setting his mind back on the reason he'd even bothered to come here today at all. From what one of his many little birds around the city had told him, apparently the head master had some big information to reveal, something that would probably prove useful to hear. Well, he was a bit skeptical as to just how useful to him the intel would be, but he wasn't one to go passing up potential sources just because he wasn't entirely sure of their value. He had originally planned to be here and then be on his way, but that had gotten a bit complicated when he told the Blood Girl to inform her brother he'd be unavailable for the entire day due to other business. He should have just walked out immediately after, not verify her guess that it had something to do wit the Gifted Populace in the city. And he should have refused to take her, but she said she would pay him once they got back... and he knew that the girl kept her word...and it was rather easy money, a good amount as well. The only real thing he wished was that he could just let go of her arm and leave her here to find her own damn way back, what with how much she had annoyed him along the way, refusing to just take the faster method of travel and let him guide her, and then stopping completely at one point once it got too loud for her to guide herself with sound anymore... but alas, She would only pay him once they got back to the shop and she could them enter through Theo's eyes. And so he would just have to be stuck with her for a while longer.
  7. Here's a second sign up of mine that Sergeant Dobs approved via PM Name: Elemus Gender: Male Age: 28 Race: Asian Appearance: 5"11, Dark Brown eyes. Well built body and quite fit. Personality: Elemus is cynical and somewhat misanthropic to a slight degree. Believing that People use each other and that there are no such things as "Good Samaritans" or the like, only people who are doing things that happen to further their own interests, regardless of whether the pursuit of said goals might be for better or for worse. He honestly doesn't care that much about the city's politics believing that it honestly doesn't matter who leads since Society will always find some way to endure and adapt since people will...well, always come together and try to use each other in order to achieve their own goals easier. (The only thing that could really make him care is if his own methods of getting what he wants were impeded...) He'll standby his world view without a problem, and won't hesitate to own up to the fact that he too is using people just as fast as he'll point out how others do the exact same thing. He's out for himself first and foremost, and possesses a good degree of foresight. Doesn't have any moral qualms with killing others if he thinks it's necessary for the pursuit of his ends. Gift: Can make tangible, temporary copies of himself using the light waves in the area around him, essentially making it possible for him to be in multiple places or doing multiple things at once. There is a limit to how many he create however, up to three, and the more he makes, the difficulty in maintaining and controlling all of them will increase. In addition, the Solidness of the clones he can create depend on how much light he can gather from around him. He primarily relies upon sunlight, but can also use moonlight and artificial light, though Clones created from the latter two will be significantly less physical than those made with the former, resulting more in "Phantom" like apparitions than something that could pass for an actual person. He can also store Sunlight that he's gathered to make Dopplegangers from it later, but it's purity/ intensity will decay at an increasing rate over time, becoming completely useless for his Cloning ability after a few hours of being stored. Whenever he gathers light, the area or the source he draws from is always dimmed and can't be used again unless relit/ a certain amount (Usually hours) passes and the light returns. The size of the Area that dimmed/ how hard it is to relight an artificial light source, IE a torch, from drawing depends on how much he takes. The Clones themselves are capable of performing actual physical actions if made from Sunlight or strong artificial light, but are no more than apparitions and are restricted to little more than delivering messages and scouting if made of Weak Artificial light or Moonlight (Though he can choose to make an apparition even with sunlight if he wants.) Backstory: Survived on the streets for most of his child hood, before managing to manifest his Gift and subsequently being discovered for it and sent to the School. The hard lessons he learned in poverty and the slums stayed with him ever since though, especially the first one; Everyone uses everyone else, plain and simple, and bitching about it gets you no where. After Graduating he took up Hunting game and selling the meat to butcheries as a way to make cash, easily able to confound prey with his Doppleganger ability, giving him more than enough time to finish it off with his Bow skills. Though he mainly hunts, he also has several... less than legal things on the side that provide income as well, leading to him going to certain lengths to try to know whats going on in the city, as a measure to help protect his side businesses and own interests. Shortly after beginning hunting, he came across an older man in the wilderness who was outnumbered and about to be mauled by a wolf pack. Using his ability, Elemus dispatched most of the pack, and scared off the few survivors. Grateful for the help and wanting to pay it back some how, the older man revealed himself to be a tracker whose partner had perished earlier, and offered to enter into a partnership with Elemus; he tracks down the Game, and Elemus takes it out. The hunter accepted, discounting the old man's gratitude as simply not wanting to piss him off and get killed like his beastly assailants had. He and his Partner, Rom, came into the Employment of the Blood Siblings a few years ago, forging a contract with Leon Blood that provided that all the two of them had to do was provide them with the furs from all Game he killed, in return for them giving him a certain fixed labor wage along with a monthly wage dependent on how many furs he brings in. After just a few interactions over payment, he saw through Lucille's act and deduced her to be blind. following Leon's... conversion, He once caught Lucille practicing her Gift, ending up revealing his own shortly after in an effort to calm her down and shut her up, but struck a deal with her; she keeps his secret from her brother, and he'll do the same with hers, something that served both their interests. He is beginning to tire and become annoyed of Leon's fanatical and never ending preaching though... to the point where losing a huge meal ticket of his might actually be worth it... Additional: Very Skilled with the Bow and Arrow, as well as with a knife. His Tracker partner, Rom, is not involved in any of his... less than legal activities. Elemus isn't very fond of the old man despite Rom's efforts to be friendly, and doesn't really try all that hard to talk to him when they're not on a hunting job for Leon, keeping him at arms length encase he someday needs to chose between his partner's survival and his own. He is the only person who knows of Lucille's gift besides herself, and he and Rom are among the very few who know she's actually blind
  8. After watching Rose tend to Enya for a moments, Ethic's attention was ultimately drawn away when he heard new footfalls from behind them in the large room, glancing back for a moment just in time to hear said footsteps grow even heavier. And who did he see but the psychotic bastard from the previous circle? "Well look who joined the party..." he said cooly, taking note of Mr.Taylor... wait, was that the old man? looked about fifty years younger... either way though, there was a corpse on the ground not far in the distance. But that wasn't the thing that drew his full attention, oh no, it was the guy running straight at him like a bull. "Ah, is someone sore about the whole "Trial by fire" thing earlier?" he mocked, aviators shining gold in the light of the room. He even went so far as to cross one leg over the other and continue leaning back, letting the man get closer and closer...seemingly amused by the charge. "I have to admit though, you burned well, didn't you? Why, I should consider becoming a chef someday, what with my going around torching psychos and making rat sushi." As he spoke though, what he was really doing was counting paces, distance, timing. He took note of the man's very fast, far faster than a normal person's should be, gait... and then just as he was about to close in on him. "Well, nice talking, but tu-ta-lu, Motherfucker." He got up from the chair, grabbing his bag and kicking the table over to give the man an obstacle, right before he shot his left arm straight into the air and sent out a Life Saber in it's whip chain form, sending the thing straight to the ceiling and embedding it there, forming a hook on the end to anchor himself. Then just like batman, he was steadily flying upward, retracting the blade into his palm as he did so. The moment he reached the ceiling he flipped himself around and planted his feet on the surface, sending out his spikes. He looked down at the would be assailant, forming his Chain Saber again encase the bastard was going to try throwing shit at him like in their previous encounter. "So I take it you want to kill me for revenge, don't you? Interesting, seeing as you've no right to, given that I only acted in the defense of my own allies...but eh, people will do as they will, now won't they, Sir Murdersalot?"
  9. Everything only get's messed up here if I don't have anything to say about it... which is not the case, soldier. I'm not going to let this sink just because Grass is too busy to attend to it. That's my job as Co-host to prevent that from happening, afterall. And good luck on the RP. I could offer help with miscellaneous things if you want, or you could ask the Commander himself.
  10. Well, greetings soldier, glad to see you've taken an interest in our little family of Roleplayers down here. Basically we have three main principles on these RP forums; Either your here to learn to write, or because you're looking to socialize and collaborate with others in order to create stories, or because... well quite simply, you're looking for a fun past time. Or one could be here for all 3 reasons at the same time. You'll find that you might make a few friends around here over time. It's just as much about comradery as it is about stories and helping to make them. If you're interested in getting started, I suggest you do as Private Tacos has already suggested and PM Commander Hukuna. Hope to see you around, soldier.
  11. Eh, Captain notus... I'm a bit curious. this circle is Greed and all, right? Is there maybe a store (Run by hell denizens) or something down there? again, just a weird question born of curiosity...
  12. "Not much," Ethic recounted. "But she's gotten a bit paler than usual since I carried her out of the Third Circle, and she threw up a little as I was walking in here a minute or two ago." he opened his bag again, rummaging through and pulling out a full bottle of water and a loose rag, wetting the strip of fabric and handing it to Rose. "Here, if she's got a fever, put this on her forehead... it's about the best we can do right now without any meds. As for the rat, he better be thanking God and all the Apostles that he isn't..."
  13. Here's the Roll call as It currently stands: (Lists those still involved) -Grasssnake485 (Busy with IRL and such, which is why she has...) -Myself (Co host and Proxy, as you already know, soldiers.) -Absol (at this point, looks to be the Sole remaining member of Verdance aside from one of Grass's PCs...) -Zephyr (Same situation as Absol, except in Mystique) -Dobby (currently on hiatus, I'll be controlling Roy until he returns) -Murdoc (Hasn't posted in a good while...) -Sparky -K_H -Snap Crackle Pop -Darklight By my count there are 9 players left currently, not including Grass herself. 9 out of the original 13. People who have Dropped: -Ark (turned into an NPC) -PWB (today via PM with me) -Bibs (will be turned into an NPC) -Chimchain (Character ditched the traveling party) -Jory (Um... 14. I'll be Updating some time sunday, Spark Alpha. Reasons are that I'm not going to be around at all tomorrow.
  15. I'll get around to updating on Sunday since tomorrow I won't be around at all, Soldiers... unless where I'm going, There will be access to a computer, which I doubt.
  16. Good lord, a triple post... this is getting bad right here^ Alright, soldiers, PWB has told me via PM that she is officially resigning from this RP. I have yet to receive any word from Skullkin, so I'll give her one more day (I won't be around tomorrow anyway due to a field trip that will extend late into the night, probably won't get home till 11 at least.) After that though... I'm moving on even if she doesn't answer.
  17. You say it as if he's completely Resigned from the RP, soldier. From what it sounds like, Bfroger and Shiro are just going on hiatus for a while. when people ask for a break, they usually come back after it's done.
  18. Ethic ignored that... incident from the unconscious child in his hands as he entered into the New Scenery, The kid was lucky none of it had gotten on him, otherwise he would've dropped her like a stone. He couldn't help but notice how pale Enya had grown though, even more so than she had been to begin with. "And of course..." he sighed to himself, "That bastard steals what's rightfully mine, the group completely breaks apart for no reason, I make a psychopath for an enemy, and now of course the You're getting sick all over the place... I just seem to be a lucky bastard lately, don't I?" Despite his griping though, he made his way over to a leather couch and Layed the girl down on it. Only after that did he finally take in the surroundings in the New Circle, setting his bag down on a table top and taking a seat not far from where he'd put Enya. He began rummaging through it, trying to see if he had any relevant medicine or the like... none that he could see, but god, did he have a lot of stuff from his searching... he was surprised he had forgotten about all his gear. In his defense though, he;d been more than a bit...occupied since coming down here. "So I'm guessing that Rat Bastard isn't here then, Eh Rose?" He called out, noticing the woman standing there out of his periphery for the first time. He didn't look up from his rummaging. "I see you just standing there like you're waiting for someone, and from his track record so far, he seems to like getting down to business quickly." He finally closed his bag, giving up on the search for medicine and instead pulling out his old pair of aviators, putting them on. "And I'm pretty sure Enya's getting worse, by the way," he continued, now looking at Rose and leaning back in the chair as if nothing was wrong. Honestly, at this point, when shit like this happened there was no use even panicking or scrambling about it anymore... hadn't done him any good down here so far anyway. Yeah, the girl was sick, but a solution was more likely to be reached if he just approached it as it was; a problem to be solved. "She kinda heaved while I was walking in here, I don't have any fever medication or anything like that, do you?"
  19. either way, I'm fine with accepting the changes as they are now if no one has anything more to add, or any further arguments to contest with the current changes.
  20. Today the Good Lieutenant learned that he can't fight worth a damn in doubles.

And, watch your own weakness! You are a Lieutenant, so don´t you ever talk like a loser again! Or else I´ll have your badge removed, son.

  21. Hell, instead of just updating his powers alone, I figured I'd just go and update his whole character Profile whilst I'm at it. The following is his Character Profile that will be current as of his entry into Greed's Circle. Name: "Ethic Ytilarom"/ Ghalen ??? Age:19 Appearance: Backstory: The War Thus Far: Personality: Ability: Lord of Arcana: Can claim Dominion over an Arcana after defeating it's acting Keeper, and draw upon it's "Link" which is accessible to him merely by focusing in on the one he wishes to use. Works similarly to the Powers of an Evoker, but each Link has it's own independent effect and Drawback and only one at a time can be used, unlike an Evoker's drawing on the cards. Can also sense anything Relating to the Arcana, be it Keepers, Servants of the High Council, or the energy signatures of the actual Arcana themselves. The Following are the Links Ethic has Claimed: (In order of the defeat of their Keepers.) Death Justice Temperance Current Inventory: ((A quick note on keepers: at this point trying to keep some type of theme going for each individual one depending on thier Arcana is more work to me than I honestly think it's even worth, so from this point forward I'm just going to start having the Remaining Keepers be like seeemingly ordinary individuals who have personalities to match their Arcana.))
  22. I think I'm going to hold with posting anything for Mareek during this scene, soldiers
  23. Alright, Troops, I've sent a PM to PWB and Skullkin to see if they're still interested in going on since they both haven't posted anything IC in a long time here. The update will come once I've worked out how they want to proceed with things on their ends.
