Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Oh...sorry bout that, Soldier, I misread the question. The Negation field completely nullifies everyone's power, regardless of what it is. In other words, they're reverted back to the state they were in before Entering the hill. so Taylor can't use his Time manipulation inside the field, Rose can't use her Words of Power, Ethic can't use any of the Arcane Links, and Marcus's superhuman strength and speed have temporarily been reverted back to normal levels.- 1735 replies

No soldier. You want em, you have to fight for them. and don't go spamming Superpower everywhere... it's detrimental to your Defense. -

Hmm... I've been thinking it over for a while... and I think it might Motivate Anver even more if death proved to be the ultimate outcome for his loved ones. I'm still on the fence about this though, Soldiers. It'll probably just turn him into yet another beserker to go along with the one's Stratos has a bad habit of making... and with myself trying to distance myself from that practice, it might be rather counter productive... -

Mareek browsed over his Journal, passing the time as the ride drew on and on. His bag lay beside him on the seat, filled with the abundant amount of supplies he had bought over the last few weeks in preparation. Java hovered over the pack, seemingly uninterested in anything going on around him except for his Trainer's Dex. The boy had considered letting Erce out earlier, but shot down the idea. Animals that have scythes for hands and confined spaces filled with people didn't mix very well. Mareek flipped through the beaten book to the section he'd made for Cipher. The pages were still relatively bare. more content heavy than before the trip to the professor's garden, but still barren compared to the rest of his compiled notes. Oh, that's right... He thought to himself I never did go and get that report from the Orre guy... I'll have to get around to it after the trip... -

Galen, still dressed in his Cop get-up and his Zororoark still using her Illusion ability, Stepped up to the bars, two other fake officers close behind him, ready to subdue any uprising when he opened the door. He had a pair of Prescription Aviators on in place of his actual Glasses, his facial expression cold as stone, giving him a soulless look. "You," he said, making his gruff far more gravelly than it actually was...and it was very convincing. As it should be, given he had gotten some practice with it in the past. His index finger was pointed towards Ezekiel as one of the other fake cops opened the cell, reaching in and grabbing the young man roughly before pulling him out and slamming the door shut behind him, locking it back. "You're next, bub, Get walking." The two cops under his command grabbed hold of either of the man's arms, dragging him behind them as they walked off down the concrete corridor of the fake station house. Their little stroll stopped once they reached an area with a large mirror set into the far wall, a locked oak door sitting right beside it. His Zororoark walked over and took out a ring of keys that Galen had given her just for this act, unlocking the door and holding it open for them. Without a word the other guards dragged Ezekiel inside, plotting him down into one of the hard, uncomfortable wooden chair on one end of the steel table. Galen and his partner in deception entered shortly thereafter, the Disguised Zororoark turning to the two grunts. "Leave us," she said in convincing male voice. "Yes sir," the Cops nodded, exiting the room and taking their places behind the one-way mirror looking in on them. The door clicked shut behind them... It was show time. Galen was gonna see how serious this kid really was. "Alright, kid," he began, his voice a perfect, Gravelly Monotone. He reached into his back pocket, feeling the RoG Cadet's capsules there. "Let's get right down to business, son. I just sat through a good 10 or 20 interrogations tonight from your little robbery stunt, and all of the other suspects all say you were at the head of the operation and planning. You must have been damn smart to get as far you did with it, but right now you're looking at about 30 years, at the very least, for the felony charge of Grand Theft in the 1st degree." He leaned forward on the table, his aviators seeming to bore into the young man's soul. He'd just let those words sink in for a minute... -

The Negation Field lasts for Twenty minutes from the time Ethic puts it up, and keeps going even if he's dies, Soldier. The only other ways for it to be taken down is for Notus to step in and interfere or for The Usurper (Maxwell) to come along and try to pull something (and the latter of those definitely aren't going to happen here... or likely ever.)- 1735 replies

Thank god... Mareek thought to himself as he exited the elevator, casting a glance back at Jacob. "You should probably get going," he said. "Otherwise those two will clean out everything that's left before you ever get there." with that he walked off down the hall, heading to the next class for the day. -

Arieta was the second to last to place her weapons to the forest floor, sighing in disappointment. I would rather just blast them straight to hell... But orders are orders, I guess... She reached up and stripped off the Flashbang belt she wore across her shoulders and tossing them down beside her RPG on the ground. Then came the belt of incendiaries... and then the frags... where was the C4? oh, here. Guess she should probably put the Detonators with them too... By the time she was down relinquishing her cache of explosives, Vixen had already placed her long rifle on the ground in the distance... strange... would the Alpha even be able to tell whether or not she had complied? The Sniper was pretty well hidden, hell, Arieta herself had a hard time discerning her from the surrounding foliage, and she was closer than anyone else. One last howl came up from the maw of the alpha male, answering the Blast Trooper's Question. the Three remaining Wolves reverted back to normal and walked down the hill, joining their cousins and parents. Another roar of authority, and they all formed into an arrow formation behind him, eyes glued to the Human's up on the hill. One of the older pack members wandered off beyond sight, returning a minute later with a strange looking object... Zero's helmet. the She Wolf walked over to her father and presented it to him, which he promptly took and clasped back down on Zero's head and restored the Closed Environment of his exo-suit... this was getting more and more intriguing by the minute... it seemed these things had some understanding of how the armor worked. fascinating, if only they had an Exo-Biologist with them... A large crash echoed from the distance a moment afterwards. The Alpha began sniffing the air subtly... an easy source of food for the pack had just come about... and a very large one at that. They wouldn't go hungry tonight. A snarl issued forth from his mouth, all of the pack members dashed off towards the noise... if any of the Soldiers had bothered to pay attention to the direction, they'd realized it had come from where they'd left Jace. Within a few seconds, all of the Moss wolves had disappeared into the underbrush; except for the Head Honcho. He looked around at the soldiers one last time, and it was obvious what he was doing. He had sent them away before he himself had chosen to go. This way he could ensure the terms were met and held. He released Zero onto the ground, backing away from the man and reverting to all fours. in either stance, he was noticeably far bigger than any of the others. His pack must have been relatively young then, for such a size difference to be apparent. He cast one last glance...right at where Vixen was hiding on the ground. Her stealth meant nothing to his superior senses; there wasn't a single squad member he had been unaware off. Then without a single noise, he tore off into the forest behind his descendants. moving so fast he was just a blur. there was no way any of them would've been able to hit the beast even if they had their weapons in their hands. Then he was gone. JACE "Not today..." The boy commander said triumphantly as he brought his weapon up to bear against the Alpha. The thing had been severely wounded from the assualt with Quiet's... ability. It's hide riddled with bullet wounds, at least a good two hundred 40 caliber rounds had been pumped into the thing by the Mysterioso within barely ten seconds... with Hand guns. And the damn thing still wasn't going to go down. But Bane had a final solution. Just like back then. He gave the verbal command within his helmet to release the backup sheild generation units in his suit, prompting the two cylindrical magnetic devices to dislodge from the Suit's main power unit, spinning faster and faster with every second. Soon a noticeable whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir began to fill the air. A warning message came up on his screen, an advisory against the tactic he was about to use. He simply ignored it, watching as his Shield reserves plummeted straight to nothing and beyond it. The hilt of the Serrated blade in his hands connected with the contact strips on the gloves of his ESF exo suit, forming a solid conduit for the Electro Magnetic power he was about to redirect into it. "This is what happens..." he began, getting in close to the Monochrome's underside and dodging the things vicious strikes with it's massive claws. "When you fuck with Special Forces." The sword up along with his arm, coming around in a blinding arc that left the scent of burned ozone and sizzling air. A Field burst forth from the Tactical Sword, cutting into the Monochromes flesh like pure butter and tearing it's skull right off of it's thick neck, sending up a massive crash as the heavy thing hit the barren ground. The battered and wounded Body spasmed for a few moments, then fell still. It was over. The fight was done. "How dense are these thing's bones?" Quiet asked, appearing beside him from his former position in nearby cover. "The amount of noise that skull made when it hit the ground was ridiculous." "Their incredibly so..." Jace said, dropping his melee weapon to the ground and walking closer to the slain lizard. "Exo-Biologist have never figured out how the hell it is they could've possibly needed them that dense without dying out from the burden of their own bodies weight. Factored in with the fact of how fast they move even despite the bone issue..." "We have more company..." Lance said, looking off into the distance. "And they're even faster." Jace turned and looked, seeing what the Gunslinger was talking about. a pack of Mossers, about ten strong. Young from the look of it, since one of them, obviously the Alpha Male, far outsizes all the others. Looks like the granddaddy wolf had gotten around a lot, and so had his offspring. "Damn it..." Bane sighed, retrieving his sword quickly. "And right after I expend my suit's entire Shield reserves on this tango behind us..." He was interrupted by a hand grabbing his shoulder roughly, a familiar black shawl falling over his Helmet's visor as he felt himself being pulled backwards, slammed against something hard. Lance's voice came over the Audio Feed. "Don't move... They're passing by now... that Lizard must've attracted them for the prospect of a free meal. Looks like we might be stuck here for a while." Lance had a complete view of the things as they went on two legs and began tearing into the dead Alpha Mono. Yes...this was indeed a young pack. they ate as if they hadn't in a while. Typical, given that young Mosser Alphas almost never claimed sizable territories to hunt on. Not with the old geezers always prowling around with their larger, more mature packs. He had pinned himself and Major Bane against a tree with a darker colored bark than it's neighbors, so aphotic it was nearly black. Lance and his shawl blended in near perfectly if he kept still. The Moss Wolves were to close to try getting away right now though. His earlier observation had been right. They'd have to wait the hungry bastards out until they were full and now longer interested in eating anything.

"Damn it..." Mareek muttered under his breath, annoyed. "Can't this thing go any faster? I'd honestly prefer not to have to stand here and hear all this childish nonsense..." He stood facing the doors, opting to keep his back to Danielle and Slade. I think Lana was probably right though... He couldn't help but think to himself. These two... there does seem to be something here... and it's annoying as hell when I'm a captive audience to it. -
Don't Stratos any ideas, Commander... that crazy bastard is watching even now. He's using this here fight scene just to give you a peek of how things within Eden might be, soldiers...

*Disappointed sigh* That was going so well too, Soldiers... From a sarcastic mr.Stratos, Ahem: "Hold on, team, I think they're retreating and trying to work something out with us..." "Screw that sir, I can blow all of them straight to hell... we'd have to sacrifice a man and lessen the overall chance of mission success because of it, but I still think it should be done." End Quote, Soldiers. The sarcasm was very well when he gave me the message.

Mareek walked to the elevator like a normal person, sighing at the childishness of his fellow students. Really? he thought to himself, his hands in his pockets. It's just an elevator... and it's not like the world is going to end if you happen to have to go without for a day...He himself had a habit of eating a large breakfast so that he could always spend the time given to them for the noon meal for training or studying instead, so he honestly didn't give two damns whether or not he was about to miss what little time was left lunch. Without a word, he stepped inside the space with the other three and hit the button for the ground floor of the main building, standing back as the doors slid shut and they began their descent. Five...four...three...two...one... He was slowly counting down the seconds before one of them called him a slow poke... just as he expected they would. -

Soldier, I can't move you all in Seacrest on until I get info from Sergeant Grass about how the Castle works (IE how the entry procedure is done and what not). Nor can I move anyone else on at the moment because Sergeant has pre-set plans for you all which she has not apprised me of the details of. And it seems that no one in Tempest knows what path they want to take with the Arcanine situation (But Draidon would be fine with either one, so...) -

"Well, thank you anyway then," Mareek sighed, somewhat disappointed that this was the only information the man could provide him. "It's still more than what I knew walking in here." With that he turned and walked back towards the entrance of the lab. He stopped at the doorway, debating whether or not he should wait for the others. Eh... I might as well, He thought to himself, leaning against the door-frame and watching as the others went about their business. -
((I need to move us on soldiers, so lets just skip ahead by a minute or two... that and I need to go back and further study how Bibs Characterized Lionel)) "Then let's move out, Spark Alpha," Surge ordered upon Lionel completing his disciplinary twenty. "We're to head to the Front Gates, at which point the...Fox Man will dispatch us to our mission objective." With that he turned and faced the south. "Ten hut!" He called. "SPARK ALPHA, FORWARD MARCH!" ((As I said before, You all learned how to march long ago.))

Forum Name: Surge Length of time on Reborn: at the time of this Application being filled out, 10 months to the day ((Member Since 27 Dec 2013)) Favorite game genre: Strategy RPG Notable skills: I can write fairly well. I've also an Analytically thinking and a Strategic Mindset to match. I hold a First Degree Black Belt in the Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do. I also know how and when to Lead when the time calls for it, and when to simply stand back and let things flow as they will. I am currently undergoing training for a career in the field of Homeland Security.I'm also a decent RP host who honestly cares about the Players and their opinions. Creative Thought. Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Character Development and drafting, Drawing, Viewing digitally generated Art, Daydreaming, Strategizing. Roleplaying, Novel Writing, Fantasy and Science Fiction. Best Trait: If I come to trust and respect you as a person, then you will have my Loyalty and Devotion as a friend until you give me reason to believe that I shouldn't provide you with my time and effort. I'm relatively slow to anger. I like to try to help other people out if I can. Also, Integrity and Honor. I'm also quite creative. Worst Trait: If you fuck me over or betray me or anyone I consider to be a friend or Anyone I care about, then I WILL NOT forget it. If it is within my power to do so, I'll make sure you pay. And if it isn't, then I'll go out of may to MAKE it within my power... Obviously I have a bit of an issue with letting matters striking close to home go easily. I also tend to take things a little personally without meaning to from time to time. As I said above, I've a slow and long fuse. but when it reaches it's end, the resulting anger tends to be explosive. Describe yourself in one sentence, long or short it doesn't matter: I'm a predominantly introverted guy who values things like Trust and Integrity and Intellect and Soul above all else; I set somewhat high standards for myself that sometimes cascade onto those around me, and my genuine respect is somewhat hard to gain, but once you have it, it'll be yours for good. Why we should pick you to play Survivor Reborn: Gotta have someone who will try to play with some integrity, right? Plus, I honestly love this community and want to be a part of it a little more than I may have been in the past.

Yes, Commander, well, at least the Alpha does. He is aware of the locations of every single Member of Chimera 1 and every still living member of his pack. Hence how he is able to keep up his end of the bargain.

Another roar. Three more Mossys went to all fours again and walked down the hill to join the rest of their pack. Things seemed to be going well enough... only a few wolves remained at the ready. Who would be the next to lower their guns and further the peace being brokered? ============================ Situation Report Status: Negotiating Wolves withdrawn from attack: 6/9 ((Note that this count does not include the Alpha Male)) Wolves left on hill: 3/9 Party B's terms: Lower all weapons and end hostility
