I assumed in my post that while they would probably do have knifes in the kitchens, it's nothing much sharper than a butter knife. It really doesn't make any sense to have anything sharper in a dorm room if you think about it. It just poses a huge security and Safety threat to everyone. though, who nows? it's Chimchain's world, and maybe they do do that.

Under the Hill - Third Circle: Gluttony

The sound of a thousand glass windows shattering filled the corridor as the fist bore down on Monty... not exactly what one would expect to hear from a human body being completely crushed. And it was soon revealed why. Out from beneath the Giant's clenched fist emerged a shower of glowing crystalline shards, dispersing from the area of impact as nearby more of them were forming into a vaguely humanoid shape, glowing brighter and brighter as more and more and more piled on, forming a skeleton, then organs, then arteries, then a muscular system, and finally...flesh. "Brute force won't work on me either, ye damn imbeciles." Monty said. He stood before the two, hands on his hips and chest out triumphantly, His bald head gleaming in the light of the torches above. He was buck naked as he glared at Ethic and the Titan. His physique was...surprisingly toned for a man his age, the bloke actually had arms like pythons and a six pack... His beard was revealed in it's full length, and thank jesus that it was long enough to conceal the guy's crotch area. Ethic doubted if he would've been able to ever unsee that sight if it hadn't. "Well..." The Fugitive said, subtly beginning to put distance between himself and the titan. He had the gut feeling that before he could take care of Monty, this ugly lug would need to go. Besides, it's not like he had been all that useful to him so far, Point and case the fact that the Keeper was still right freaking here. Yes... it seemed that Ethic would have to do things himself. And as such, It was time to end this Charade so that he could focus on what he really needed to now. The big idiot must die, and he must die NOW. Ethic pointed his finger off down the corridor, preparing to call his Life Saber as he shouted out. "Hey look! There's another tasty guy just like Monty here! Maybe he'l be easier to kill!" -
I'm in AP English Language and Comp. right now. Took AP world history last year. I could probably do even more AP classes if I actually wanted to put up the effort.

There were a few different things going through Mareek's head when he noticed the window open and the door ajar. Particularly the fact that whomever had opened that window and broken in was probably not someone with good intentions. He didn't even need the confirmation he got when Jake's growlithe started barking insistently at something in the other room. "Well... Guess we should go greet our visitors," he jested as he dropped his back onto the leather couch to his right. He walked over to the small kitchen and began silently opening and closing drawers, sighing as he ended his search after a few moments. He stepped away from the Kitchen, eyeing Jake's Partner as the pup kept up it's bark. "Sadly..." he said. "it looks like they don't keep anything sharper than butter knifes in here." What? Like he would be stupid enough to go and investigate a potential burglary in progress without even trying to first find some means of defending himself? Yeah...no, not gonna happen. But it looked he was out of luck either way right now, so... What can ya do? "Move," he ordered the Growlithe as he stepped over to the door, opening it a bit more and peeking his head inside, not really knowing what, or who, he'd find in the room beyond. -

"Looks like I'm your roomate..." Said Mareek. he held up the key ring he'd been given for 213, twirling it around his finger idly as he looked over the individual before him, analyzing him. after a moment or two, He caught the key fob suddenly with a clasp of his hand, having come to a conclusion. He honestly didn't think they would butt heads too much, which would probably work out for the best for both of them. "So...are you going to go in?" he asked, ignoring the snarling pup at the other boy's feet. he scoffed inwardly infact, hell given her size advantage, his Scyther could probably easily best this Growlithe in a match, even despite the type disadvantage... though, not that he was going to release the Mantis creature from her capsule in here, of all places... she would have to get used to the new surroundings first... which she typically did by slashing a few things to mark off her territory, and he honestly wanted his Dorm to stay intact, thank you. -
oh...woops. I didn't think of that, Turbo. anyways, I'm gonna have a lot of fun playing an INTJ character... though I don't know how well he'll actually get along with Slade...

"213..." Mareek muttered to himself as he held the campus map he had gotten, tracing the path from here to the Men's Dorms in the North East corner of the property. He walked around the main building, curving around the stone walkways until he saw the Dormitories in his sight, folding the map away having no longer needing it. It was only a minute or two before the edifice towered over him like a colossus, seven stories tall and casting a long shadow in the morning sunlight. He presented his key card to the panel next to the door way, the entrance opening before him automatically as the system approved his student ID for clearance. He looked around the first floor, not seeing his room here... not that he had expected to in the first place. He walked down to the end of the corridor, counting off numbers as he passed. He figured that his dorm was much higher above this floor. He glanced around, noticing a stair well. "Screw that..." he muttered. He went over and found the Elevator, swiping his key card and stepping inside. he had to try a few different floors before he finally found the 200's. He didn't take long to find his room after that, arriving at the door of 213 and noticing another young man opening the door with his own key card. "Well... looks like we all get roommates here..." he muttered. Not that he had anything against the idea. So long as the other guy wasn't a dick, there'd be no issues between them. He didn't say anything in introduction though, merely stood there, leaning against the wall. He wanted to test how long it would take this other boy to realize he was there... -
Hey, Chimchain, did Tyron give Mareek his ID card when he finished processing his paperwork? or does he still not have it, because I don't recall you mentioning it...

Pokémon Academy: Ch 1a: A fresh start [IC]

Mareek's attention was drawn away as the man at the desk began speaking to the guy on the ground, ignoring what had happened... He couldn't help but take a few steps back when the teacher pulled his computer clean off the desk in an unexpected fit of rage and chucked the thing clear down the hall way like a Machamp. He really was glad he hadn't said something just a few moments ago, because It could've probably been him at the end of that corridor if he had. He took the Key that man had offered him, the one labeled 213, along his papers, before walking away tentatively from the desk, retrieving his Headphones from the floor nearby. He elected not to put them back on this time, resting them on his neck instead. The directory board towered above him. He looked up, scanning the campus map, trying to find where his dorm room was. -

Mareek cycled through the tracks he had stored on the Media Stick after the orchestral piece ended. He finally came to one that he had some interest in, initiating the play button and continuing to wait as the Staff member took forever to process his papers, the song beginning to play over the wireless connection with the MP3. A few more minutes of waiting. He was beginning to lose patience at this point, but stopped himself from saying anything curt. One had to stop and consider just how much work this guy had on his plate today, and being a dick just because the guy might be a bit tired from processing the papers of everyone that had come before Mareek wouldn't help the situation. So he calmed himself a little, cutting the teacher some slack and turning his back to glance off at the large board dominating the Entry Hall... just in time to feel someone charging into him from behind. He fell to the ground, his head phone's falling off and skidding across the floor, automatically shutting off as they left the range of the Wireless signals from his MP3. He didn't waste a single second, springing up into a fighting stance on complete reflex, Hands up and elbows in to protect his face and upper chest... then he lowered them when he saw the other young man sitting on the ground, feeling Sheepish about how easily he had automatically assumed he was being assaulted by someone. But still, couldn't this guy have been watching were he was going? for crying out loud, how the hell do you manage to run right into a Stationery Line? "You alright?" he asked, noticeably keeping his distance from the other boy. There was a bit of an annoyed scowl on his face. -
PSS did too... seems to be a theme around here, for certain RPs to have explosive turnout rates when the IC threads first go up. And alright, Notus, just making sure.
-
Eh? Notus, you trying to get an intraction with Mareek? or is it some other guy who just happens to also have Headphones on?
-
Good lord, I'm away at school for a few hours, and you guys start the IC and get 2 pages in, and add 2 pages to the OCC... though, wait... guess I'm not one to talk, am I? XD

"Are you sure you've got everything?" The elderly man standing by the gates of the academy with Mareek asked. his face was weathered and lined with many years of stress; a by-product of his long scientific career. "Do you need cash, supplies, clothes? we can go into town and get them real quick..." "I'm fine, Dr.Saito," the adolescent said simply. His eyes were fixed on the large gates before him. "Alright then," the older man said. "Just remember, If you have any issues, I'll be in town with my surveying..." "I'll call you if I need anything..." Mareek could feel his patience with the man beginning to slip a little. He knew he shouldn't feel like that, after everything the fellow had done to help his mom get him here, From paying for his Ship Ticket with his own money, along with his meals and lodging, and even serving as his temporary legal guardian for the journey over here. And the Old Doctor had asked virtually nothing in return, all of it had been a complete favor on his part, an act of kindness... though it should be noted that the man often traveled to far off places for his job at Silph, and this area had just so happened to be scheduled around the same time the school year would start. All his expenses were covered by his empolying company, and given the complete fiasco that had happened several years ago, Silph Co. was more than willing to cover Mareek's travel costs as well... or rather, they were just going to turn a blind eye to some of the higher than usual charges on the expense bill when they got it. "Well... you have my number, Mareek..." The old bloke sighed, sensing that the boy was beginning to tire of his constant company. he turned and began walking down the road towards town. "I'll be heading off to find an inn now." "Thank you," He said before the man could get out of earshot. "For everything, Thank you." "Ah well... It was nothing. It was the least I could do for Andrew's only decent son..." and then he walked away, leaving Mareek at the gates alone. He finally broke his gaze away from studying the gate's features, taking the time to peer around the campus as he picked up his bag and shouldered it, brushing off the bit of weight the thing had gained during the trip. His eyes scanned the place lazily, not really taking in much of the scenery. He finally spotted the White building he remembered being told was where he'd need to go to get registered. Without a word to anyone else around him, he walked over to the front doors, taking his time. the place was already swamped, so not like there was any point in trying to rush. The entry hall of the building was just as crowded and load as he head anticipated it to be. which posed no problem for him, he preferred to listen to his headphones anyway. He made his way into a line as he pulled the devices over his ears, pulling his wireless MP3 player out of one of his inner jacket pockets and powering it on, replacing the device as an orchestral theme began to play in the head phones. It wasn't more than a few minutes before the line had thinned and he was standing in front of desk. He couldn't hear the School staff member's directions over the noise cancellations of the devices, but he had an easy enough time reading the man's lips. he reached into his jacket and produced his papers, placing them neatly on the desk and waiting for them to be processed. -
"Riiiiiiiib" The Toad bellowed as it through it's head back, opening it's mouth wide as a geyser of water issued forth, blasting hundreds of feet into the air, piercing the scarlet heavens themselves. A small rain shower broke forth from the clouds as a gleaming blue object descended from the stars, landing in front of Matrim's feet with a thick THUNK!! as it rent the earth in two... Standing embedded in the ground in front of him was an axe... but no ordinary axe, not the one he had wielded before. Oh no no no no... this War axe had a blade that gleamed a bright teal, it's edge sharper than a razor and wickedly curved, Glyphs and various, ancient words long since spoken were engraved on it's face in gold lettering. oppostie the blade of the weapon, the head was carved in a wooden serpent's maw, effectively giving a the armament both a hacking and blunt force that could be used. The handle was wrought in crystalline, blue diamond with silver in an intertwining, double helix fashion. at the end of the handle was yet another carved serpent head, albeit this one was much smaller than the the one opposite the blade. Simply put, the weapon was fearsome and formidable in appearance to say the least. "Riiiiiiiiiib! Riiiiiiiiiiiiib!" The Toad shouted Pridefully. It hopped away from Matrim and his new weapon, heading over for Trystane. Just as it had before, it swallowed the young hunter's short spear whole, not showing a single sign that it had eaten something so large. it then began to hop a little down the road, again making sure to stay within sight of the weapon's wielder.... "What the hell is that thing?" Aaron asked as he watched the amphibian, eyebrow raised. he turned to Trystane "Did it... did It just swallow your spear?"

Monty's shield absorbed the brunt of the blast force, including any that would've inflicted splash damage onto Ethic and his turtle shelled captor... though that wasn't something Monty intended to do; they'd just gotten lucky it had so happened to occur. "Fool!" Monty said. his shield desembled infront of him, falling apart into thousands of shards that begin to gleam with harsh light as they fell to the barren, broken earth. Slowly, they all began to rise into the air around him. He looked up at Ethic. "Take this as a lesson, boy!" he shouted. "Your little Suicide tactics will not work against me! just as your friends tactics have just failed!" "Duely noted..." Ethic muttered to himself, looking down at Kenny's body. He turned his attention to the freak of nature holding him in it's hand right now. "Hey, seems that this one isn't going to go out easily..." he began. "If you want to bring us both to chief to eat, then you're gonna need my help putting him down... so if you could let me go right about now..." as he spoke, he established the Death link, his right hand gleaming slightly with a multicolored light, just a trick of the lighting, it seemed. If this lug didn't put him down in a few minutes... well, Ethic would just deal with him like he had the other Giant. And even better, he had a clear shot at the things neck right now... -

And no, Torrent is not with the three of you right now, remember? you left him up the road when you turned and walked a little into town inorder to voice your suspicions about him in (What you assumed to be) out of earshot. so forget about him for now, Just go.
