"Come on Ethic, let's get moving!' Ethic didn't like the feeling of being so useless... But everything Mr.Taylor said was right... and it was exactly what Lucian had been saying all this time.... Cursing under his breath, Ethic took off after Mr.Taylor as he ran away from the panther, leaving the mysterious masked man to deal with the beast.

((Ray didn' say anything, it was all the General)) Erick stopped and listened as Clint tried, in his own way, to apologize for what had occurred. he didn't really blame Clint for what happened, and he wasn't so much angry now as he was just worried about how the rest of his evaluation would go. He put his hand up, stopping Clint mid-sentence. "Look, man, it's alright. She's fine... just... kinda lost it on the general there for a minute... but it's fine." He put out his hand for Clint to shake "No hard feelings between us, alright?"

Hell, why would anyone dissaprove? the fact that you were able to do this with the game at all is in itself impressive.

Genisa was sent flying high into the air as Onix emerged from the earth in a shower of rock and stone beneath her. The Ralts let out a strange cry as it looked at Erick as it soared upwards, fear in it's eyes. Erick felt a bit of anger rise in him at seeing Genisa like this, along with something stirring just under the surface of his psyche. without even thinking about it, his legs started moving towards where he thought the GAO was going to fall, at the same time yelling out an order to Beldum "USE THAT CLAW ATTACK! NOW!" he ran faster as he saw Genisa beginning to exit the apex of her fall, and Beldum's claws at the bottom of it's body began to blaze silvery white. Erick managed to catch Genisa, but just barely. the Ralts shoke in his arm, then stopped when she realized she was no longer threatened by hitting the ground. she looked up into Erick's eyes, feeling his anger at what had occured and at the same time getting angry herself for what had been done by pimparella. She concentrated and sent a single, fully composed thought message to Erick as her body began to blaze white. "MAKE THEM PAY. MAKE THEM ALL PAY." her body began to change from as the horn on her head split into two and moved apart, then the light turned blinding as Erick watched the transformation continue. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- General McCarthy had seen enough. he knew he should stop this now any way... that look on Freeman's face... it was the same as it was that day in the Atrium... Erick looked at Virtue, her eye's lit up with anger he hadn't seen in her before... If I don't do something... then this'll end badly... I have no choice he pulled out her capsule and hit the button. Genisa looked surprised as the red beam hit her and she dissipated into the device. "You showed competentcy and control of your partners, Cannon. You pass this portion of the Evaluation..." Then he turned to Erick "As for you... you were going to pass when I saw you rushing over to catch your GAO as... She fell. But then your GAO attacked me... and that just lost your chance right there... but you managed to make the right judgement and called her back to her capsule...." There was a long pause... "You..." said the General "Freeman..." He pressed his pin and the list blazed in the air again "You passed... but just barely...see to it that no other issues like this arise later, or I will render your score on every part of this evaluation null and void, and you will be discharged from the program. Understand." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Erick looked at the general, wanting to say some nasty things, but restraining himself, knowing he was on Thin Ice. "Yes, Sir." He said simply returning to his spot. "Talk to me." he said under his breath as he walked back "I know this capsule doesn't stop you from being able to use telepathy" He got but one answer from this, and it was surprisingly more put together than her thought messages from before were "Traitor....you broke your promise." He sent his own message using the telepathic link Genisa had just established between them "Yeah, I did, and I'm sorry...but I had no choice... things would've gone quite bad if I didn't bring you back to it." There was no response. Erick sighed "Yeah..." he muttered "This is going to be real helpful... we're screwed if we can't work together to pass this thing..." --------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------- General McCarthy called out the next names on the list "Lionel Carter and Enyo Greyjoy, begin!"

Nope. You know Murdoc... You can always give up the claim on them. this goes for all claims by the way. anyone may chose to forfeit their claim on a GAO if they no longer want it on their team. but claims can't be forfeited after it's caught, so think about what you want before your character actually gets it in their party. (Not that we're catching anything right now, but just for future reference)

Ethic took a step back as Enya spoke up in a surprisingly firm and uncompromising voice for a kid so young... "Umm... alright... "he said, seeing as Mr.Taylor began trying to move away from the scene That's not such a bad idea... he thought to himself as he began taking a few steps backwards, knowing that he was pretty much useless right now. then he stopped himself... "No..." he said to himself "I can't just leave them here..." Lucian spoke up, this time sighing in annoyance "Damn it Ethic... Don't you understand? YOU CANT HELP THEM! YOU HAVE NO WAY TO, SO JUST GET OUT OF THEIR AND LET THEM HANDLE IT." Ethic knew he was right. he turned around as the little girl begn preparing another attack, not seeing or hearing the portal Kenny opened or his shout of encouragement to Enya; he was too busy running. as fast as he could. He passed by Damian and Ellaria "Sorry I couldn't really help, guys" he called out as he ran "But if I run..." He smirked a crooked smile "I'm pretty sure that thing left to find away around the lava flow... If I run... I might give it a distraction..." He continued tearing down the aisle as Lucian called out once more in his mind "You know, Ethic... You're an Idiot sometimes... but damn it if you're not a noble idiot..."

Ethic Watched as Harry called his last team member back "Good game," then as the other young man headed off towards the machine, Ethic called back to him, grinding his teeth at how he'd screwed up so much in the beginning of the fight by underestimating the opponent "Yeah... You too..." With that he called Nova off the assualt and back to his side, she listened obediently. he walked off the field towards the treeline, where he then released Politician from it's capsule in a burst of light. The serpent still refused to look at him, and even started to sliver off into the woods "Stop right There!" Ethic shouted at him "Oh no, my friend, it ain't THAT easy." The snake still slivered away, Ethic looked to Nova. "Nova... get in his path." the Tiger responded by dissapearing, kicking up some dirt, and reapearring in front of Politician. that was enough to finally stop it. it turned, it's reptillian Eyes glaring at Ethic... "Look, I'm sorry, Politician, but I'm just done with you..." He began walking up to the seviper "Back when we were taking the Kanto League on... you caused a bunch of trouble for us while we traveled... but I was always willing to let it go...because you tried harder than even Salaam did when it came to battle..." He now stood in front of Politician, and knelt down to look it in the eyes "but I'm afraid... that I can't have any mistakes here... there was time for that on our last journey... I should've left you behind at home with the others... but you ate my stash of Common Candies... and that made you weaker... it wasted every hour that we had spent training to take on the league... and so I decided to just take you with me..." The seviper hissed... almost remorsefully... "But I think I know why you did it... You wanted to be apart of the action... didn't you?" The snake simply looked away... and Ethic knew from experience with it that this was it's way of giving an affirmative answer when confronted with something. he spoke again, his voice a little softer "Well... I won't punish you if that's the reason why you did it, Politician... but I'm afraid I still have to send you home... this quest I'm on now..." he stood up, taking the ball out of his pocket "I'm trying to find out what it really means to be strong... and what Good people do with strength when they have it... and I'm afraid that this is a path I can't walk with you guys from the old team... that's why I decided to leave you all behind." the snake hissed understandingly, looking Ethic in the eye as it had been able to before the battle. He clicked the button on the capsule, speaking as the scarlet light enveloped Politician. "I'll write a letter for Sandra," he began "Because once you get back home, I want you to train until you get to be even more powerful than you were before... because I don't plan for any of you to sit out and pasture forever..." The light faded back into the capsule, Ethic put it away, then looked to Nova, who stared back at him without expression. He turned around, back towards the field and the others, and started walking. "Come one, Nova." He said "Let's get these two healed... and one of them back home..."

Beldum was hit dead on by the Tyrouges kick, sending the metallic creature hurtling through the air before it managed to regain control and use Electro-magnetism to right itself. Erick looked over to it "You all right?" he asked The Beldum moved up and down slowly, which Erick took to mean "Maybe" Thats when he noticed that Clint's rock snake, pimparella, had dissapeared... though he figured out where it had gone when he saw the gaping hole in the earth... and he had a sneaking suspicion what Clint was intending to do... he knew that Virtue wasn't good defensively too... Damn it... He thought to himself What do I do? that's when an old voice pushed an idea into his head... he would have told it to go away, that it wasn't real, just like he had been doing these past few months... but... this Idea actually seemed pretty good. Erick chuckled a little then called out "Alright, Virtue and Beldum, I want you both to switch places... Virtue, use Telekinesis to move yourself, don't walk!" He didn't really know how the whole "Dig a hole" thing worked with GAOs... but he figured that they'd probably be able to sense vibrations from people walking around... or something... otherwise, how would they know where to strike if the target moved? "well..." he said under his breath as Beldum and Genisa carried out the place swapped as he had ordered "Only one way to find out if my theory is correct..." ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- Ray watched from the Stage as Erick ordered his partners to swapped places, then as Erick picked up a stone... and tossed it away towards the ground, seemingly beginning to skip from where Virtue had been standing a moment ago... and then skip off towards the platform...like it would on the surface of a pond... Surge looked over to ray, having watched the same thing "What the hell is he doing?" he asked Ray smirked "To be honest, I don't really know... but I think he's up to something." ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- Erick, having done what he needed to put the test of his theory into motion, then gave another order to Beldum. "Beldum... use that shock attack we developed a while ago!" Beldum made a strange RRRRRRRing sound as it stood it's body straight and down in the air, then started rotating, faster and faster... within a few seconds, sparks and static of yellow could be seen... And then a thin bolt of electricity flew off of Beldums rotating body and off towards the only opponent still on the field... Tyrouge

alrighty then... Ethic will get on that after he gets rid of politician... and this battle ends... EDIT: How would we go about switching out current party members, by using a PC, right? And what level would Skrelp be at?

Actually, Ive got a question I'd like to ask the Domestic Terrorist, Erm... I mean Shadow Thief... Tell me please, because I'm actually starting to take some interest in you... Just what the hell do you get out of screwing around and messing with people? what is there for you to possibly gain? Joy? if that's it... then that's a little sad actually...Fame? still pretty sad...especially when you realize that Anything you can do to mess with other members here can easily be undone by dropping a few rupees at the site shop... when you think about, all of your possible "Crimes" you could commit will never have any real impact, other than maybe pissing people off at you... which doesn't really yield any favorable result in the end... you'll just be known as "That Asshole who's always screwing with people" or maybe that's what you actually want? Erick looked over as his friend began playfully taunting and lit a cigarette... Well, that's clint for you... he thought to himself He looked at Genisa... "Stay away from that rock snake of his, Virtue... or else... God help you..." Virtue nodded, understanding that she wouldn't last very long if she tried to take on that Onix head on... He turned to Beldum "And you.." he said "I want you to watch her back in this... in fact, both of you watch out for the other... Clint talks big, but most of the time it's because he's got what t takes to back it up..." the Beldum rose and down just as it had before. Genisa nodded as well, then they both looked over to the opposition, an eager fire in their eyes... Erick looked over to Clint... "Call me an Ass, clint..." he began "But I prefer to use first strike capabilities... unlike the country I serve..." He reached inside his pocket, feeling the smooth, round berries there... he yelled out "Virtue, use that telekinesis we've been working on (Confusion) and toss Beldum into Onix!, Beldum, at the same time, use that... thing you've been doing since we met!" Virtue's eyes glowed scarlet as she followed orders, picking up beldum, who then manipulated the Elctro-mag waves around its body to shot itself across the field, boosted by Virute's telekinetic toss.

Just a heads up, Supernovae... as we all know, Beldum has an incredibly Shitty moveset (With only take-down as it's known move, and is doesn't have rockhead... so recoil everytime) so I've looked at it and here's a few moves I've justified for it to know also: Thundershock -Beldum has been said to levitate itself using electro-magnetic waves. Electro-magnetism and Electricity are pretty much hand in hand, so I figure that messing around with various waves that a small Electric shock can be produced. Metal Claw: as we can all see at the bottom of this picture, Beldum has three claws at the bottom of it's body, and it's a steel type... so... I honestly don't know why the hell it can't learn this move naturally already... I'm just gonna chalk it up to Game Freak and their flawed logic when it comes to what some things can learn... anyways, about that steelix... ain't nobody, and I mean NOBODY gettin that there type of power so early on... you can find the metal coat for now... but... You ain't got anyone to trade with... (Or maybe I'll just steal the link stone idea and have that be a way to evolve...)

"Permission to be excused and take my GAO to rest, sir?" McCarthy looked over at Jory as he addressed him, having just won a surprisingly quick fight. "Not now, Robertson," He said "you'll all be given the opportunity to heal them before the next part of the evaluation begins." The General reached up and pressed on his pin once again, and the list of names blazed in the air once again, this time with another two... "Robertson, Maelstrom, you've both displayed competency in this match, you both pass this part of the evaluation, now clear the field." He looked to the names on the list now, and called them out "Clint Cannon, and Erick Freeman! Step forward, and begin!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erick had watched the previous battles with little interest... he'd already seen what most of his fellow cadets partners could do during their six months of training together... But both he and Virtue perked up when his name was called next. he looked to the Ralts "You ready?" he asked, She merely noded. he looked over to Beldum next, whom he hadn't thought of a good name for yet. "How about you?" he asked. the metallic creature rose up and down in the air quickly, which Erick had figured out over the months meant "yes" for it. the thing had been a bit awkward when he first was assigned it, the only thing it seemed to be able to do was slam itself head first into things, though with some special work, they'd been able to come up with a few other things to do in battle... Erick walked out in front of the platform, standing at attention as he thought to himself Clint's Onix is gonna be an issue... that's what I would've said... had we not of found that little move... Erick chuckled a little as he waited for Clint to step up so they could begin.

yeah, i guess you all have started to find various items around the base and forest in the past few months... You can have horsea find the scale it self at the bottom of a river or something... but later on, we've got to get these things done with.

Ethic turned to see Rose dashing off in the direction they'd came in... as well as a lot of Lava... and the little Girl, Enya. Well... he thought to himself, letting go of Ellaria's and Damians hands Glad to see they didn't get her... but... where the hell did Lava come from in this place? maybe... Ethic chuckled to himself a little. Maybe there's been a leak in the Lake of Fire. He chuckled a little more, it felt good to actually have a laugh after so long. But all joking aside, He wasn't about to just continue running away, not when there were others risking themselves like this. He sprinted over to them, witnessing as Rose pulled a knife from her sleeve, badly cutting herself in the process, and tossed it at the wolf, though he couldn't see if it actually hit it's mark with the light given off by the lava blocking out the sight. "Well, how interesting..." Lucian said in his mind "I've got the feeling there's something about how she got that Knife in her sleeve in the first place" "What are you talking about, Lucian?" Ethic asked, subvocalizing the words, genuinely perplexed by what he meant. "Nothing..." Lucian replied "It's not important... now, Ethic, we've already discussed why RUNNING WOULD BE THE BEST OPTION HERE, haven't we? so what exactly do you intend to do to try and help?" Ethic began thinking... He does have a point... no power or weapons... just a bunch of white colored energy that I've seen coming off me... And I don't think that'll actually be any good to fight using... "I don't really quite know myself, to tell the truth..." Ethic said... though maybe he was wrong about the energy... he decided that it was better to try than to do nothing at all. He stepped up beside Rose, and began concentrating his will on calling up the energy, like he'd done subconsciously whenever he got angry before. at first the glow was faint... nothing more but a trickle... then the Glow grew a little stronger as the energy from before began to again radiating off of him. "Ethic..." Lucian called "Not now." Ethic responded, focusing on trying to form the energy into a sphere, feeling without even looking as it gathered in his palms and began taking shape. He tried to take aim at the wolf, but the view was still obstructed by the lava... and Ethic wasn't even sure if the wolf was in the same place as it had been moments ago... Lucian called out again. "Don't do it. that energy has no use by itself in combat. you'll just be draining yourself needlessly if you lob that sphere you're making into the air" Ethic stopped trying to take aim and focused on maintaining the sphere as he replied "Wait... You're kidding right? so this is pretty much useless?" "Yes," Lucian replied "by itself, that energy you're giving off is harmless... all Evokers give it off, it's what you've been using when you called out to the Arcana, well, before that little incident..." Ethic stopped maintaining the sphere in his palms and called the energy back into him. "Well, thanks for telling me that before I did it... but My hands are pretty much tied now, Lucian..." he said under his breath "That's what I've been trying to tell you this whole time. the only thing you can do now is grab Enya and Rose and keep running... And I suggest you do it now..." Knowing there was no wiser course of action now, he turned to rose, his eyes pleading "Rose... it's pointless trying to fight that thing... Let's just grab Enya and get the hell out of here..."

Hmm... you know what Kenny? Ima have to Veto this till later on in the story. like Bibarel said above Tell you what though, I'll let you do that once Eevee hits lv32, and not a second before.

((there's so many holes in that move set list's logic that I'm not even going to bother pointing them out. screw it, I'm over the issue...)) Just to make sure... No one has a Dragalge or Skrelp, do they? because Politician's days on the team are pretty much over...

Anver looked out of the window as Allen pulled the car up next to a gated side entrance of the local airport, which had a sign on the door which read in blaring red letters: AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY Anver looked at Allen. "You must be crazy, Allan... thought you said the Front entrance... I go through this door without some kind of authorization, and there'll be alarms and sirens going off all over the place." Allan got the black brief case from the backseat and pulled it up front, opening it. "Here, you're gonna need this" he said, taking out a bottle of chloroform and an old rag from the brief case and giving it to Anver. he looked down and examined it, giving Allan a questionable look "Chloroform, Allan?...Really?" Allan looked back at him, pushing his glasses up the ridge of his nose, then reached into the brief case again and pulled out a silencer made for a glock, and tossed it into Anver's lap "What?" Allan asked rather sarcastically "Anver, You know I'm ex-Spec.Ops... I've done this type of stuff before, infiltration and sneaking... and I can tell you, you go in this airport through the front way, you'll be arrested as soon as a TSA agent spots your face, which would be inevitable with all the security protocals they've got nowadays. The side entrance is the only way you'll even have a chance to make it covertly." knowing his old friend had a point, anver sighed and got out of the car, fitting the silencer onto the Glock and then putting it back into his blazer pocket, as well as the bottle of chloroform and old rag. he began walking towards the door when Allan called out one last time. "Anver!" he called out "The sensor that tells whether the door's open or closed; I've seen that model before! It's sensitive to extremes in temperature! You know what to do!" With that, Allan ducked his head back into the vehicle and peeled off, burning rubber as he headed down the street in the stolen car. "Well..." Said anver, approaching the door, at the same time searching for security cameras, thankfully there were none "Guess I know what to do..." He put his hand onto the card slot scanner on the side of the door, then concentrated, heating the device to the point where the plastic casing of it started to warp, allowing air to trickle into the inner circuitry areas... with that done, Anver then shifted focus to heating the air that had gotten inside the device. In two minutes, the motherboard was dead, fried from heat exposure. Anver pushed the door open and crawled inside, closing it gently behind him and beginning to move down the long corridor filled with various boxes and crates.

Ethic didn't know what was happening as he, Rose and Ellaria fell to the ground, just that the wolf would be upon them if they didn't get up in a few seconds. he looked around after rose helped the group back on it's feet, seeing that the young man from earlier had somehow appeared out of thin air and fallen on them. "Take Ethic's hand, Damian." Ethic took the guy's, Damian presumbly, hand to save him the trouble of doing it himself, seeing as how he probably would have no idea Who Rose was referring to. the air had grown hot and heavy, He heard Rose call out another spell as the group started running again, at the same time consulting Lucian in his mind "Isn't there something you can do about them?!" Lucian answered back, quite annoyed... "No, Einstein... In case you didn't notice last time, it seems that Fire has no effect on that thing! Now shut up and focus on running away." Ethic took his advice, and then noticed that the group was missing someone... the little girl that was with Rose... Damn... Ethic thought to himself as he ran wish we could go back to get her... but by now... they've probably... He pushed the thought away and kept running
