Poke-people: Chapter 2: Your first Exam
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
((So I presume we're just gonna pretend that Ethic was there the entire time?)) "Last match! Ethic VS Harry, you may begin as soon as both are ready!" Ethic got up from where he sat nearby, watching as the other young man, presumably Harry, walked onto the battle field and sent out his team consisting of a Larvitar, Scraggy, and Larvesta. Ethic swapped his gaze between the three of them, sizing up the incoming opposition. They won't be much of an issue... He thought to himself, reaching inside one of the pockets within the inner lining of his fatigue jacket and withdrawing the poke'balls of his own team. he walked onto the Battle field, hiding just how much confidence he had in his achieving victory from this. He sent out his party one by one, addressing them each as they emerged forth onto the battle field. "A Fiery Star rising into the night sky, Nova! Stand at my side as your Father before you once did!" he called out as the young growlithe materialized out of the burst of white light, her eyes falling eagerly on the competition "I'm still kinda pissed at you for eating my entire stash of Common Candies and making all that training go to waste... but, Politician, you know the Drill." a Seviper emerged beside Nova, a look of arrogance on it's serpentine face as it caught a glimpse of what it was actually up against. it turned to look at Ethic, sheer disappointment in it's eye's. "Don't you give that look," he said in response "You wouldn't be fighting them had you just kept out of my bag." He tossed the final red and white sphere into the air. "You're the newest member, but I think that you've got potential. Prove me right, Ambar!" a ferroseed emerged next to Nova and Politician, sitting on the ground, carefully analyzing the enemy in complete silence. Ethic tucked his left hand into his pants pocket, taking hold of a warm, smooth object there, in-case he had somehow underestimated the other side, and would need it. He yelled out to the other young man "Go on, make the first move!" while at the same time thinking to himself yeah... so that I can crush you and your team... -

no Tm's for the most part. as I said before, they won't be invented for a long time. Though almost every move the TMs teach can be learned naturally by at least one species of Pokemon... so If you can justify your partner having that move learned at this stage... I'll let it pass. and no psychic for any one except Oak's Clemont at this point. PS. This is just great.... now I can't get onto the IC thread...- 1189 replies

the type of person who stands up for those who are unable to stand for themselves. the type of person who fights the good fight even when it isn't rewarding at times. I seek to become a voice. I seek to become an advocate. but most of all... I seek to become a sword and shield for those who need it most. That's who I strive to become... and I've got a shit ton of work to do...

Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Ethic rounded another corner, the voices were growing louder, which meant he was getting closer, though not close enough to hear anything that was actually being spoken. He continued walking, it seemed that once he turned the next corner and headed down another aisle, he'd be close enough to hear what was being said, if not actually see the voices owners. then he stopped halfway from said next corner. I have nothing... he thought. not a single scrap of supplies. and it was true, he'd lost his burlap bag as well somehow earlier on, though he couldn't recall when it could've happened. aside from his now gone jacket, that bag was what he had used to carry most of his journey items. He began rummaging around in his pants pockets, trying to see what, if anything, was there. If these people aren't exactly friendly, then I'll be between a rock and a hard place in terms of how to get out of the situation... He found something in a pocket on the right side of his pants. he brought his hand out to examine it... It was a small leather bag, around the size of his palm... he could tell what it was from the jingling inside... My emergency fund... I completely forgot it was even there after I got into this place... he placed it back in the pocket and continued searching... in the same pocket he found another item, it was hard and cold to the touch. he pulled it out. it was an old pocket knife the old man in the cafe had left after he and Ethic had finished talking about the hill... Ethic had tried to find the man and tell him he'd left it behind, but the guy had dissapeared as if into thin air, so at the time he had just pocketed it and had since forgotten about it. Ethic would've been quite grateful if the damn thing had just been a little bigger... he could tell just by looking at it's smallish handle that the actual blade of the knife probably wasn't much larger than a large house key. it would be difficult to use in self-defense if needed. he replaced it and began searching again, coming up with nothing more. well... he thought to himself I don't have anything to defend myself with... oh well... I already decided to take a chance when I started walking towards the sounds... nothing else to do. He simply continued. -
not that i'm specifically trying to hack per-say... I'm absolutely fine with continuing to play it the way it is... I just think it would be a little fun to poke around a little and see what I could do though

well... to Noiverns everywhere, I would like to appoligize for some things I've said about your species in the past... perhaps I was to quick to judge... maybe you aren't so useless to me afterall...

Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Soon a pathway of familiar light lit up on the ground of the dark space that Ethic was being dragged through... He looked to see a rectangle of white light appear in the distance at the end of the illuminated path way. This is just like before... thought Ethic, beginning to shift his body under his captor's grip on the back of his shirt. the daze from being thrown to the floor and being kicked earlier had worn off now, and some fight was beginning to trickle back into the young man as he was dragged further and further. The Goth noticed this and stopped suddenly. "So," he began, looking down at Ethic, the eerily black sword still in his other hand "You've gotten back to your senses have you? then walk for yourself, it's getting to be tiring to drag you like this." He let go of Ethic's collar, and Ethic sprang to stand up and face him. "You're not to bright, are you?" He asked, looking into the stormy eyes of his captor a little to confidently "What makes you think that I won't just run back the way we came through this place?" it was a complete bluff. from the way the Goth had dragged him, he had been able to see the entire way they had gone since entering the portal. he had seen the portal close the instant they were through, and he had seen as the path of light slowly dissipated back into inky blackness behind them as they traveled... and he had no idea whether or not it would come back if he ran in the opposite direction, nor how to open the portal himself. but still... He wasn't going to let this guy have the pleasure of thinking that he had won against him just yet. the Goth responded, his voice ringing with a bit of boredom. "Because, I know that just now, that was a load of horse shit coming out of your mouth," he said, "I dragged you behind me like that for a reason; so that you could see that there was no way backwards, only forwards in this place. it's a one way road with every trip. you can only head towards to objective, not backwards towards your starting point." The Goth smirked at him now. "So like I said before. You may think you have a choice in the matter, but you really don't when it comes down to it." Ethic knew it was pointless now. he walked forward, brushing past the Goth. The rectangle of light grew far larger with every step, despite it seeming so far off when he was being dragged, it was only ten paces before he stood before it, the light and power radiating off of it felt like sunlight. he turned to the Goth, who was now trailing behind him. "I know that whatever this place is, it's related to the Arcana and the Keepers." he stated simply "So that begs the question..." He looked the Pale young man hard in the eyes before he continued "What are you? a Keeper?" The Goth laughed at this. apparently something Ethic had just said was quite amusing. "What am I? what am I? oh, you'll find out eventually. now get to steppin." Ethic stayed where he was, refusing to comply. The Goth placed his hand on Ethic's chest and roughly shoved him through the rectangle of light, it englufed him as he fell through. his vision flooded with white, then the light receded... he was back in the multi-colored space. the various Arcana of the Tarot floating in the air around him. 21 of the Keepers formed a circle in the middle of the space, with him having entered into the middle of it. The Keeper of the Wheel stood on a raised platform shortly outside the circle. his Goth captor entered through the rectangle after him, and it dissapeared. the Goth looked up to the Keeper of the Wheel. "I've brought him," he said "He put up substantial resistance to comply with the request however, and I was forced to resort to violence to coerce him." Request? Ethic thought to himself That was no request, he freaking abducted me... He stood as the KOW replied to the Goth "Very well then. this will be noted and added on to your record following your report being filed. dismissed." and with that, the Goth was immersed in a shroud of darkness, which burned away into nothing, growing smaller and smaller until where the Goth once stood, there was no one now. the KOW turned his attention on Ethic now. "Ethic Ytilarom, you have been brought here on request of the council to be determined as to whether you are fit to continue as an Envoker." Ethic was completely puzzled as to why they would call him in for that. "What are you talking about, what did I do to make you change your minds all of a sudden? one minute you're all bowing to me like I'm some king, then the next minute you're trying to fire me." He was answered by an elderly voice. he recognized it from his near death experience earlier "You know why we have brought you here." it said, Ethic turned to see an old man in a dark blue robe with the hood pulled up. he carried staff that had an old oil lantern swinging from the top. another voice, he recognized it as Longicus, continued the statement. "You allowed the Arcana to be destroyed while in your possession. this is a serious offence." Ethic couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was here because of something he had no control over at the time? "Hold up," he said "It's not my fault what happened to them. It's not like I held them out and let someone destroy them. Hell, at the time, I was barely even ALIVE, let alone CONSCIOUS!" the keeper of the Wheel answered this time. "the fact of the matter is that they were destroyed while in your care." He stepped down from the platform and entered within the circle, stopping a few feet away from where Ethic stood. "Have you anything to say in your defense?" Ethic ground his teeth in anger. what he had just said was his defense. "I just said my defense" he said simply, trying not to raise his voice. that's when he heard a voice rang out in protest.... it was Lucian. "Why dont we just end this charade!? Everyone of you know that he can't be held responsible if he is an unwillingly participant or unable to intervene at the time! End this stupid evaluation, and drop the charge!" Ethic couldn't help but smile a little. at least he knew that someone was on his side in this. Maybe Lucian really is a friend... The Keeper of the Wheel, turned his attention on Lucian now, his voice snarling with displeasure at this outburst. "Keeper Lucian, You're input or opinion on the matter is null and void due to you're being biased to the subject's favor. refrain from such rampant outspeaking again, or we shall evaluate whether or not you are fitt to oversee the Magician Arcana." Ethic looked at Lucian, and saw the young man's hands beginning to smolder as his staff glowed an angry scarlet. off in the distance of the rainbow hued space, the Magician Arcana also glowed a deep scarlet. but Lucian said nothing more, despite the look on his face suggesting very much the opposite. the KOW returned his focus to Ethic. "We shall deliberate and review this. Our decision on the matter shall be made known to you when we arrive at it. Dismissed." The space began to shift and change around Ethic, melting and swirling into itself... before he even knew what was going on, he found himself standing back in the library. and his knife was nowhere to be found, despite him having it in his hand the whole time. "Great... just great..." he muttered to himself "this is going down hill real fast..." with that he started walking off in a random direction. it was utterly impossible to tell if he was in the same part of the library as he was before. he stopped when he heard something in the distance. it was faint, but it sounded a little like voices. Well... might as well just throw caution to the wind and head towards them... he thought to himself, doing just that, walking off in the direction Besides... if anyone finds me and so happens to want to start something, well... I'm at a pretty bad disadvantage with my power to Invoke stuck in limbo and with no weapon... might as well try and get together with a group if it's possible... he headed around a corner, the voices still relatively far off, but closer now. -
Alright... I'll have to do that sometime... *Begins searching the guy's topics* Edit: IT is done.

Oh you silly fools... *Riding on the back of my Soul-Bound, the Drake Thead, I fly to the Hill and torch the memorial and gravestone dedicated to Typhlosion.* "USURPERS DO NOT BECOME MEMORIALIZED ON MY LAND!" *Thead roars in agreement. The Hill is engulfed in an inferno. I send out Deluge.* "Deluge, Surf!" *A surge of sea water comes out of no where, forming a huge wall of water. it crashes onto the hill with explosive force and washes away whats left of Typhlo's memorial, as well as puts out the fire. Thead lands. I disembark from his back and stands at the top of my hill. I begin coronating myself again.* "I, Ethic, of the houses Morality and Alpha, the first of my name, Hereby proclaim myself King of this Hill and all it's outlying territories, Lord of the kingdom of truth, Defender of the Realm, and Retainer of Immortality" *I can't find a crown to place on my head this time, so I just continue. the sky is growing darker with storm clouds.* "MAY ALL THOSE WHO WOULD THE SKY SLAYER'S CLAIM MEET THE ELITE FORCES OF THE ORDER OF TWILIGHT IN BATTLE!!" *a portal flooded with light and darkness appears at the base of the hill, many OOT Grey Wing soldiers flood out and surround the hill* "Long May I Reign!" *they echo back in a thunderous chorus* "LONG MAY HE REIGN"

I see your point on the value of a character being able to have visions like the hermit gives. I can swap the hermit and place it with in the higher fatigue toll area for Ethic. and without revealing too much of what I have planed for him, let's just say that invoking will never again be as easy for Ethic as it has been...- 1735 replies

Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
The Energy pooling in Ethic's body seeped away suddenly, as if something had sucked it away into a vacuum. he noticed, but didn't care as he kept walking, turning a corner. he didn't really know where he was headed, just that he was getting somewhere at least. then a voice echoed in the corridor. "Stop walking." Ethic stopped, looking around to see where it had come from. nothing... "You want me to stop walking?" He asked defiantly to whoever it was. "Then make me. come out from where ever your hiding, and make me, you little pansy." The Voice answered, displeased... "Alright then. I'll make you." Ethic took notes of the voice this time. Youngish sounding... probably around my age.. maybe a few years ahead... a bit aloof... He took another step... and another... A young man materialized out of darkness at the end of the corridor, kneeling as his body slowly formed...the darkness writhed around him as if a cloak... He stood, he was around Ethic's height, he was wearing a pitch black t-shirt with pants and hair of the same color. his lips and fingernails were also pitch black. his skin was pale. he looked up and met Ethic's eyes at the other end of the aisle. they were a stormy dark brown. Ethic just looked back at him for a few moments. "So who are you? some whinny little Goth who thinks he's all big and tough because he's wearing black lipstick and nail polish?" the other young man feigned a chuckle. "Funny," he said "But no Ethic, I'm not. You see, I'm a pathetic little rich black-kid who has daddy issues worse than the Jackson Five and still bitches and moans over the grave of his dead mother, and who ran away from home when he realized he didn't have the balls to stand up to his old man." Ethic gave the pale young man a hate-filled stare as he stopped right in front of him. this had just gotten personal. real personal. "What do you want?" he asked through grit teeth. "You going to be coming with me right now. We have a certain place to get to." said the pale young man "What makes you think I'll go along with you anywhere?" Ethic asked, not backing down. The young man chuckled again, this time un-sarcastically. "Why, Ethic..." He began "You don't really have a choice in the matter." No choice? thought Ethic Let's see about that... he shifted Man Without Honor in his hand, shifting the knife to wield it back-handed. "There's always a choice..." he said, assuming a defensive stance "And I'm choosing not to go with you willingly." The pale young man held his left hand out stended to the side... a small storm of darkness and black electricity crackled there as a length of black metal emerged from the palm of his left hand. he lowered his arm, the blade extending out of the palm of his hand and pointing to the floor. he pointed the strange sword at Ethic's face, his eyes stormier than before. "Good," he said "Put up more resistance, that's right. make me look even better on my report." he swung the black sword in a horizontal arch, attempting to cut Ethic across the stomach... He leapt backwards just in the nick of time however "Alright... then this is it. just remember..." said Ethic, raising his own weapon "You made the first strike!" He rushed at the pale young man, bringing his knife up and throughing a reverse slash (a reverse punch while holding a knife backhanded) right towards the other young mans face. the other young man brought up the black blade and easily blocked the strike, which consequently positioned his and Ethic's faces right in front of each other. they stared there for a second, in an intense starring match, the pale man smiling an ominous grin. "Let's dance, shall we?" he said sarcastically, spinning the blade of the sword in his hand and throwing Ethic's arm up and away from where the two weapons had met in the air. He made for a spinning slash towards Ethic's upper chest, Ethic managed to recover from the twirling of the blade and dived at his feet however, sending his knife flying towards the pale young man's foot. He received a brutal kick to the face before he could land the blow however, and lay on the marble floor, dazed as spots flared across his vision. the pale young man held his blade to Ethic's throat as he stared upwards at him. "I'd kill you... but that wouldn't help my trial to become qualified." "I got something to help your trial..." Ethic said under his breath. "Hmm...?" asked the other man mockingly. "I didn't hear that..." "I said... that I HAVE SOMETHING TO HELP YOUR TRIAL!!" Ethic yelled as he sent both his feet into a scissoring kick, effectively knocking the pale young man over to the floor with him. Ethic rolled to his side, still a bit dazed from being kicked in the face, but managed to stand... "Now..." he said "Who the hell are you?" "OH?" said the man on the floor "Hell? well, that is very close Ethic. Hell has to do a lot with who I am" He held up his left palm, spreading it open for Ethic to see... on his palm... was an inverted pentagram, the central point pointing downwards towards the floor. "Wait, Wha- Ethic was cut off as the other man slamed the flat off his blade into Ethic's legs, sweeping them out from under him with ease. the assailant was up on his feet again in an instant. and again... His pitch black sword was pointed at Ethic's throat as he lay on the floor. Ethic had had the wind knocked out of him with that last trip to the ground... all he could do was look up... Anger surging in his mind. Damn it... this guy managed to get the better of me... a portal of merged darkness and light appeared behind the young man, still holding Ethic to the ground at blade point "Now then... Let's go." He grabbed Ethic by the collar of his tattered shirt, and dragged him with him through it. instantly, the dark engulfed them. there was screams and shouts, just like when Ethic had gone through the entrance to the library... And then there was silence, the only sound was the Pale young man dragging Ethic along the floor of whatever this place was, the latter of the two too dazed to put up anymore resistance. -
Ray stepped towards Surge discretely as the battle between Nathan and Lars continues. "Well, surge... looks like this is pretty even on both sides.... I can't tell which of us is gonna win this bet..." He whispered as he stood beside him watching. "Well just don't get your hopes up, Ray. My money's on Grey. Kaiser just hasn't struck me as a completely....reliable individual over these past few months" Surge replied, his voice also a whisper. Ray took out a wad of cash, money they had both put up for the bet, in his hand, and began counting it. "I believe we agreed on one hundred?" General McCarthy saw the bills and strided over. "Really?" he asked "Betting money on their performances like this is some type of dog-fighting arena... how despicable of you two." Ray looked up to the General. "But Sir... technically speaking, this is exactly like dog-fighting... we're just not excluding it to dogs, but including a bunch of super-powered animals. Besides... the pain threshold for most of the species we've found so far has been a lot higher than the old members of the Animal kingdoms were..." Surge broke in "But God... if those nut jobs over in PETA ever found out about this... it would be chaos." "Oh," said ray "They're already in a frenzy over the constant fighting between the US army and these creatures for the past five years of martial law..." McCarthy decided it was time to break up this little side conversation. "Even so, Gambling is against protocol. Relinquish the cash. that's an order, Doctor." Ray relunctantly handed over the money in his hand. McCarthy took, counted it, and satisfied, stowed it in the breast pocket of his Uniform. "And the next time I find either of you breaking protocol like this again, I'll order for you to relinquish twice the amount. Understood?" "Yes, Sir." replied Surge "Oak places bets as well." Was all that ray said in response as the General strode back over to his spot and continued watching... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Meanwhile in the lab denoted as APW-487* "Sir... I'm afraid... that this is another failed trial..." Said David to Oak as he stood over the dead test subject, it's gargantuan body now spilt out of the the tank and sprawled on the floor. the fluid in the tank had spilt out as well when the glass had shattered shortly after the final test was initiated. tiny shards of glass and water swamped the floor, soaking the bottom of Oaks shoes. "Yes, David... It is... And it honestly doesn't take a genius to see this." Oak said, writting down the latest results on his clipboard... "I Have to call it!" He bellowed out to the Porject team that was assembled at vairous stations and terminals around the huge lab. "On March 18, 2062, test subject 3045, code-named the "Phantom Wrym" expired during the implementation of the control substance and fail safe!" many of the team scientist began typing at their terminals furiously, inputting the declaration into the system archives. with that done, Oak begun walking to the door, David spoke to him as he passed. "Sir... this is the third test subject since we've started... it's likely that we're not going to get authorization to try again... Is it?" Oak stopped and looked the younger man in the eyes. "Fourth times the charm, David... Fourth times the charm.... but right now, I need to go hand this project's supervision of this project Rowan." Oak left the laboratory with that, and walked to the end of the corridor, lined with several doors indentical to the one he had just left through, and palmed the pad by the elevator doors, signalling them to descend. when the dull gray slabs opened, standing in the elevator waiting for him was another man in a lab coat around the same age as Oak, with grey streaked hair and a well trimmed beard. Oak strode inside and stood beside the man, punching the button for the surface. "So," said the man "I'm guessing that this one isn't what we had hoped for either?" "Nope..." said oak as the doors slowly began closing "I'm afraid we'll have to try again, old friend." the man chuckled "You know Oak," he said, the doors drawing closer and closer to each other "there was once a time when the most exciting parts of our days were giving lectures on gene-mod crops and the potential pros and cons of engineering certain animal species to fit our needs" Oak chuckled as well at this. "Yes... it's funny how much things can change in five years isn't it, Rowan?" the doors finally slid shut and the elevator cabin began shooting upwards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

^(Kenny... that's not how the mechanics for curse work exactly...) I come back by phasing into the sunlight to find... Deluge sprawled out in the dirt, covered in thrid degree burns... they look suspciously like they were caused by an extreme amount of light... Friend clutching her head rocking back and forth beside deluge... and the OOT army laying sprawled in the mud, trying to get up... *Comes down and stands amoung the OOT troops* "Men, you have shamed our great and ancient order this night." I say, my voice rising to a crescendo over the wind and howling rain. "What would the Grand Master, the great explainer, the destroyer of misunderstanding, Morgan Freeman..." I pause, taking out a picture of him for effect. "Think if he knew that you were wiped out by... him, of all people..." *I point to Kenny* "But yet... you may redeem yourselves... Slay this latest usurper, and get me my throne back, and I'll keep this between us. so how about it?" *The OOT troops are rallied by this, and again echo in a thunderous chorus.* "LONG MAY HE REIGN!!" *They surge forward and the top of the hill is engulfed in fighting. all right then. I see your points here. perhaps Ethic's perceptiveness has gone over the line into metagaming... The issues of this have been addressed, Post #332 and #334 have been edited.... Now, On the Arcana, A few Points of my own: 1. I honestly don't see how mind-reading and meta-gaming is directly related to my post earlier just so happening not to mention the toll taken by the Arcana 2.Post #332 has been edited, However, note the fact that Ethic was healed by kenny. 3.During the encounter with the She-wolf and the scorpion, Ethic was being driven forward by adrenaline, which in turn temporarily blocked him from feeling the toll of invoking. 4.The toll of invoking is directly porportional to the magnitude of the resulting effect, ergo, something like the Hermit which only affects sight for a few seconds has a minor toll that can be easily brushed off, while using the Magician to create a wall of fire large enough that it's seems like it would be able to stop scorpion that is apparently larger than a man, the toll is much worse, nearly to the point where invoking the Final Judgement was. 5. let it be noted that Ethic can pool some excess energy from himself to create a makeshift reservoir to serve as a cushion or reserve that he can draw from in order to aid in invoking. And number six... Oh lovely... Lovlely number six... 6. The. arcana. has. been. destroyed, effectively putting a extremely huge dent in what Ethic can do right now. ergo, HE WON'T BE DOING ANY FREAKING INVOKING FOR A GOOD WHILE. THAT WHITE ENERGY CRAP? RIGHT NOW THAT'S LESS THAN WORTHLESS. the only real use it has is for building up and radiating off him, IT HAS NO INNATE EFFECT IN ITSELF. IT DOESN'T MAKE HIM STRONGER, IT DOESN'T MAKE HIM FASTER, AND IT DOESN'T HARM ANYONE. IT'S FUEL. LIKE OXYGEN IS TO A FIRE, BUT WHEN THERE'S NO FIRE, OXYGEN IS PRETTY DAMN HARMLESS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. now then, I ain't tryin to start some back and forth crap, because that's utterly childish and immature on the part of everyone involved when it happens, so I hope that the edits I've made to my post and the points above have been enough to smooth over the issue so that we can just get on with the story like it didn't come up in the first place. now, then, I may have come off as inflammatory or over-reactive just now as I had to hold myself back from breaking through my filter at first and calm down, but let me just say one thing. Thank you, Murdoc. Really. I want to be an author someday, and When other's point out the flaws in my writing, every criticism serves as an opportunity for me to grow even more so long as I don't allow myself to overlook the opportunity. I want to learn how to write quality stories, and that's part of the reason why I began RPing, creating stories with other people is easier than writing by one's lonesome. So sincerely,Thank you.- 1735 replies

*I send out my Swampert, named Deluge* "Deluge! get these Usurpers off my Hill!" Deluge uses hydro pump, and stone edge, effectively destroying Talonflame "Friend... You know the drill." *My Gardevoir uses Psychic and tosses Rose of the hill and high into the sky, where Deluge then uses Hydro pump, sending her flying off into the horizon.* "And so it is as it should be...." *Climbs to the top of hill and gives myself a coroantion seeing as how that worthless old maester pycel is nowhere to be found* "I, Ethic, of the houses Morality and Alpha, the first of my name, hereby proclaim myself King of this hill and all it's outlying territories, Lord of the Kingdom of Truth, Defender of the Realm, and Retainer of immortality" *Crowns myself* "May all who challenge my claim be met in battle by the Order of the Twilight." *a small army of OOT members descend from the sky and assemble around the hill, forming a perimeter around it as a rain begins to fall in sheets... almost as if the sky is weeping in Fear of the Sky Slayer's ascent to the throne.* "Long may I reign!" the OOT echoes back. in a thunderous chorus "LONG MAY HE REIGN!!"

Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Ethic's attention was stolen away as another Shade resembling Shotgun McGee poped out of nowhere and begans shouting something about friendships dying. he was not in the mood for trivial interruptions such as this. He looked at the shade as it continued shouting "I almost don't want to kill you, seeing you suffer this much is so much more........invigorating." enough. he had already fought something like this, and he was not intending to waste his time doing it again. "Screw off." He said pointedly, the energy in his body continuing to grow as more and more started radiating off of it. "Because I will snap your god-damn neck if you open your annoying mouth again." He again started walking away, nearing the corner of the corridor. his anger was not focused on any particular thing or person now, but was just general "I should just burn this whole damn library to the ground...with all of them in it...." He said under his breath as he kept going straight. not caring about whatever happened behind him. "But I would need the Magician Arcana to do that... And I don't have anything at all to invoke..." and this reset the whole hate filled thoughts from earlier as he continued walking
