"So where are we going?" Ixidor asked Ethic looked back to him as he walked "Well... I guess we try and find out where the exit or way further into this place is, then we head there..." despite his words, he had a thought in the exact opposite hope. Yeah, likes that gonna be easy... this place was huge. no matter how much walking someone did, they probably wouldn't get from one end of it to the other without getting lost a good dozen times or so in the maze of bookshleves. And Ethic was intending to actually find an exit way. that in itself was probably going to be a thousand times higher in difficulty. Add to this task the fact that a few less-than forthright people were also running around down here, and, well... Ethic spotted something down the way. it was... red... and shiny... in a pool on the floor. He could see just the very edge of it. He looked back at his companions. "Hey, Kenny, Ix, I'm going to go see what's going on down the way. You two stay here." he began walking further down the aisle, then paused. "oh, and turn around and walk the other way if I don't come back in a while." The same smell from before wafted in the air. Ethic thought he had been moving away from it earlier, but in fact, he now found the he had actually headed towards it. the smell grew heavier and more metallic. He knew what this smell was. and the sight of the rest of the red pool on the floor confirmed it. "Blood..." With that, he tore Man Without Honor from it's sheath at his side, holding it back handed as he scanned the area for anyone or anything that might have something to do with it. He didn't find anything. he stepped over to the red stain on the overwise pure white floor. "Whoever got hurt here..." he began "Probably isn't alive anymore... this is just too much blood for someone to lose and then get back up again." He scaned the area once more. there was a tiny trail of blood a foot or so long, but it ended abruptly at the foot long mark. The hermit resonated in his pocket. figuring it was best not to ignore it, he invoked the card, his eyes fading into another vision... ---------------------------- He saw Mr.Taylor on the ground, a wound in his side. His face was in deep pain. that was all he could see however. not what had led up to it, who had been involved, or what happened after. just the image of the kind old man dying in a pool of his own blood. it stuck in his mind a minute, then his vision faded back to where he was. like before, he felt a small sliver of his reserves slip away, but he ignored it. "So... Mr.Taylor..." He walked away from the scene and back towards the aisle, thinking one thing. the old man had helped him and Ixidor when they needed it, and now he was apparently dead. and whoever did it may still be in the area. Ethic didn't want to get his friends involved. he intended to face the bastard who murdered Mr.Taylor alone. he made a decision. I will find who did this to you...and I will make them pay. He walked back to Kenny and Ixidor. "Change of plans." He said "We're headed this way instead. don't ask why, just hurry up, we need to get away from here." With that, he started off back down the Aisle in the direction they had come from. he had but one thought in his mind I will find you, whoever you are. later if not sooner...

*Uses Chronoshift* *gets back up and sounds an air horn, then throws a pint of pig's blood on rose. With that, a man dressed in full Roman armor faded into existence beside Ethic, not bothering to hide his visibility from the other two watching. he was the same apparition Ethic had seen in the Chariot Arcana earlier. his hair was a bit of a mess, and now that Ethic could actually get a clear look at him, the man's armor was stained with blood and dirt and mud. His eyes were dark and stormy, two spears, a pilum and a hasta rested on his left and right shoulder, respectively. He turned to Ethic, but looked at the KOM "As I told you back then, Lucian, If an Invoker needs transportation somewhere, then They'll have to invoke the Chariot Arcana themselves. There are no true free rides." Ethic cut in. "About the amount of the toll my body takes..." Longicus looked at him "Calm down. The Toll your body takes gets worse depending on how far away you choose to travel using the Chariot. How high is this, twenty feet or so?" "More like thirty, though, Both of us could be way off on the estimates..." "Doesn't matter. Using the Chariot to get from here down to the ground isn't going to clean you out like you think it will. you'll still be able to walk around and defend yourself if necessary, the only reason it was so bad last time was becuase for one, you invoked the Tower in addition to the Chariot, and two, When you Invoked the chariot, you know how far away you traveled? Ethic looked back up, and they were gone. but the Chariot and the Magician were still resonating in his pocket. he felt like he'd just sprinted a short distance, but aside from a slightly fast heart rate and a little winded, he was fine. He looked over at Kenny and Ixidor "Well, me and Ix already agreed to stick together down here...but you wanna come with us Kenny? we could probably use a third person." He waited to see whether Kenny would accept the offer, though he couldn't tell whether or not the other young man had exited the strange trance state he appeared to be in back on the book shelf...

Actually, the whole murder scene between Mr.Taylor and Marcus brings an interesting question to my mind... Who would win in a knife fight? Marcus or Ethic... not that I'm suggesting anything though... just a random thought... :Kappa:

Actually, I went back over it, and I think Onix lvl.11-12 currently Tyrogue Lvl.6-8 currently But i could be wrong. Post the win lose ratio for each of them so that I can jog my memory a little. approved levels... Projected levels after... Chimchar (Ace)Lvl.15...Evolution possible:Yes Squirtle (Crush)Lvl.16...Evolution possible:Yes medium intensity battle between Axis and shadow- shadow as victor- two levels gained. Buddy-battle between crush, medium intensity-Draw- One level gained. Levels approved. neither able to evolve at level after timeshift.

check the op, I've posted leveling guidleines there. But your assumption that Absinthe has increased by three levels from his Battle with onix is justified, as that fight can be classified as an underdog situation due to the sheer size advantage that the onix formerly known as big pimpin had. Projected levels post time-jump: Bourbon: level 15... Evol. possible?: no... Levels till Evol possible: 7 Absinthe: Level 18...Evol. Possible?:yes

He can be trained for it... but I don't exactly know how many opportunities to drive such a heavily armed vehicle will present themselves... as for levels I beleive that's about correct... vicious- level 5 at start plus one victory at tier two intensity... approximately one level gained. ergo, Vicious is approximately level 6 currently Smoke- level 5 at start plus no victory... still level five currently Projected levels after Time-jump: Vicious (Shinx, Male)- Lv.16 Evolution possible: Yes Smoke (Horsea, Male) -Lv.15 Evolution possible: No... My friend, every single Arcana name you listed from the game: "The Room Two" Is pretty much made up or Synonyms for the actual arcana names. the only ones from that that are actually what the cards are commonly named is "death". Though I guess that Knowledge could stand for the hermit, voyage for the chariot/ the fool, time for the Wheel of fortune... But anyways, I actually own a Rider-waite tarot deck and have done quite a bit of research on the tarot and Arcana in the past, and I assure you, all the names of the Arcana that Ethic uses are the correct common names for them.

Though, Jory, everyone started out at level five when ray handed them out to you all, so technically, Sampson would be level 16 now instead of just level twelve, and nefertiti would be level 15 following the time skip. Edit: noticed you said Before. well then, Sampson should be at level 6 or so currently I believe, and nefertiti at around level 5. We won't actually be adding on the ten levels until the time skip occurs @ Flux, I thing that'll suit Lars well. maybe have him in recon along with Kenny. or as an assasin Erm, forget that last part... that MOS section is classified, so just forget I ever said that :Kappa:

Ethic looked at Ix as he dismissed the toad. then started acting abit weird.. "Ok then... Guess we can walk." Ethic listened as Kenny started talking about being able to sense a fourth entity among the three of them, asking Ethic for his take, noticably a bit dizzy for some reason. The KOM walked over to Ethic and the other two. "Well, an Aura weaver!." He said to Ethic "It's been a while since I've last seen one of those in the world, aside from a few monks in the Himalayas..." He shimmered for a few seconds. "Well, guess I might as well just allow them to see me..." (*the Keeper is now visible to Kenny and Ixidor as well as Ethic) He walked up to Kenny now. "Well, I was correct, You are one." KOM could sense the conflicting energies of the Aura field and the Tarot The mage looked over at Ethic, frowning. "Ethic, this simply won't do at all," He began. "You aren't recalling your power correctly after using the arcana." Ethic was puzzled by this "What do you mean?" KOM put out his hand in the air. specks of scarlet, indigo, and violet became Visible, the scarlet bits of energy flowing into the keepers staff, the Violet specks flowing into his hand. "In order to truly call back the energy you give off while manipulating the Arcana, you must visualize it flowing back into you, then command it to do so." The flares of violet energy flowed back out of his hand. "Now, you try it." Ethic did as he suggested, the energy moved towards him, but wouldn't go past a certain distance. "Well..." The KOM said "This is most disturbing or most hopeful... Such a simple feat as recalling the excess power you give off is usaully something that all Invokers can do without difficulty..." Ethic didn't know what to think of that. "So... which is it for me.... Hopeful or disturbing?" "Either one as far as can be told for now... The best always have trouble with it... but then again, so do the worst..." The Keeper looked to Kenny and Ixidor, actually addressing them for the first time since making himself visible to them. Everyone can increase their partners levels by ten following the time skip (Example: Genisa is approximately level twelve right now after the time skip, she would be around level twenty-two.) As for evolutions following the time skip, Pokemon whose minimum evolution levels are meet may evolve at the RPer's choice. if you just wanna have it already evolved when you post after the time skip, then you can go ahead and say something like: "[insert partner name here] evolved after many months of rigorous training." However, if you have some type of event in mind for it's evolution taking place in, you can do that as well (Can PM me to talk more about it if you feel you have to). For the most part, I won't be policing the Evolutions that result from the timewrap as harshly or as closely as I will in the chronological plot of the RP. simply Calculate out around what level your partner is now by using the tier system described in the OP (Levels have only been provided by battles at this point, as no one has engaged in training.) then add ten onto that result and post the result either here on the thread or as a PM to me, and I'll decide whether it's plausible (Legal) for it to evolve at that level.

With that done, the Massive wyrm of fire dissipated into a cloud of embers before fading into the air. "Thank you" He said. The young looking mage lowered his staff. now that Ethic noticed, the Keeper didn't look any older than himself. He looked to Ethic and replied. "No thanks is needed. I did what I did because it is my duty as a Keeper of the Arcana." "Still, Thanks. what duties by the way? If you don't mind me asking, that is..." The Mage's eyes burned with silent knowledge, wisdom a thousand times beyond what appeared to be his age... "As Keeper's of the Arcana, it is our task to educate an Invoker of the power's they've been chosen to receive. I have just shown you a demonstration of what the Magician Arcana can do at full potential, in the hands of one who knows it well. come, I shall tell you more of the Mage arcana..."
