By the gods... after all these years, the theory has finally been proven correct; someone has exuded enough edge that they've managed to physically cut themselves on it! Alright, fine, it's probably just from nonstop scratching at this wrists over the course of several days, but screw it, I will still record this in the scientific journal anyway. Well zet old buddy old pal...looks like we certainly got our work cut out for us...

You had one job, Anna, one goddess damned job... and you screw it all up by completely flying off the handle and murdering a man over one little remark... She took just a few moments to steady herself as the plan already fell to absolute shit all around her... and she wasn't doing a very good job of it, truth be told. Just their damn luck, no matter how iffy it was, there had been a chance to avoid clashing steel here...and like that, it was gone "well, no avoiding it now," She muttered. "it's all just more work for me the end. But no, I appreciate it...no, really I mean it...no, no, it's not like healing idiots who get bitten in the rear with their own actions isn't the exact opposite of how I want to spend my time..." Moves to C4 and mutters some shit about certain overactive, red-headed merchants ruining things... -
[IC] Lightgivers - Volume 1: A Feeling
Sutoratosu replied to anethia's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Shit..." She gritted her teeth as the boy moved at the very last second, managing to save himself from the brunt of her flaming lunge. The flares died down around her as she passed him by, sending Rame stumbling from her brief flight and landing in the dirt as her leg again buckled beneath her weight. Even as she tried to push herself back up again, the incantation began all over again, this wasn't over just because she missed... the fucker who'd put her into a damn hobble would pay for it...unlike earlier though, some part of it was actually audible... "Zadade se oblåk témen Otkum gora, ot Bålkana Eh, moy dyado, tejko vre-" "Well, that's another thing that's been ruined in the last few minutes. Hope you don't mind if I just call it quits. I'd rather nothing else get burnt or melted..." Of course you'd say that right now...you sound just as utterly spineless as you looked while you were taking potshots at me, why am I not surprised? "You fucking coward, it's your own damn fault for starting something you couldn't finish," Her eye's flashed with the radiance of embers as she muttered the words, more than loud enough for the boy to easily catch it. The fires reluctantly receded as she finally pushed herself back up... as much as she wanted nothing more in the world than to turn him into a pile of kindling, the shit she knew she'd get for going after him any further wasn't worth it. She'd already been kicked out once, no point fucking this up too. She did not deny the tumultuous inferno she felt within her core though, only tapered it's wrath, but she could feel it resist more and more with every second, "but fine... if this is how easily you back down when things get tough, then you aren't worth my damn time anyway..." With that said, she took a moment to actually survey the rest of the field, ignoring the throbbing pain shooting up and down her leg and into her groan. A tendon had definitely been hit... on the bright side though, it was probably only a partial sever...and most of the bleeding had clotted under the heat of her lumen. Could've been worse, it could've left her unable to stand at all. From what she could see, It seemed two of the others were locked in some sort of stand off with no real victor, and the annoying kid with diarrhea of the god damn mouth seemed to have wrecked the idiot who'd come flying at her. As interesting as it was that he'd managed to do jack shit to anyone though, not even he seemed like he intended to do much else beyond just standing around now. Figures... it was over already. Sure as hell hadn't feel like five minutes. Already, she could feel it flaring up again as she took in the pitiful scene... "Pathetic," she snarled across the field, irises still alight as she glared from one fallen fighter to the next. Embers flickered about her form with every venom-laced word "all that bravado and ego I saw from some of you while you walked over here, and yet the only ones actually left standing now are me and this little pink haired shit?" her sight finally settled on none other than Haruki, seeming to almost stare through him, "I'm surprised you could actually shut your damn mouth long enough to raise your fists... let alone take down someone twice your size. Hell, it would almost be impressive, if you weren't so damn annoying." -
Fuck hangnails...

Fool pls, ya'll would lose that in a heart beat. Me and Zet are already a whole lot further on the way to it than most of ya... we got that support trust fund set up and shit, ain't that right zet? Though hell, if ya wanna get real technical, we already won this race before it began. We actually did have B rank for a very short time before it was reverted back to C and the progress converted to a head start over other links

Fire Emblem On The Forums: Ashes (IC)
Sutoratosu replied to Pyon Pyon Kyuu!~'s topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
She hadn't really bothered going near the fire or any of the others once they'd gotten back. Simply gone right into her tent; after what all that, she didn't have much of an appetite, and she didn't feel like having to talk to anyone besides ecquis about it...and even that was only because he had been there to witness the entire thing from start to end. Regardless of whether she wanted to talk or not though...it seemed someone was intent on starting conversation anyway... but certainly none of the one's she'd been expecting. "Well... you certainly got a bit of bite to ya, don't you?" Just as her mother's had been, his was but a whisper... but unlike her, Maya still wasn't sure whether she was actually hearing it or it was just in her head. "What do you want?" She sighed, not even bothering to stop polishing the ivory wood of her staff to look up. She knew by now what she would see if she did, why waste the energy even trying? "You seem to have a penchant of showing up unannounced, specter. If I'm spiralling into madness, just go on and tell me so we can get it over with. There's no point toying with me anymore." "Madness? Madness? Who said anything about madness. I'm as real as that stave in your hand...or..." Something pulled itself forward from within her robes. Before she could stop whatever force acted on it, the Sin tome was ripped from it's place and sent hurtling clear across the space, hitting the tent wall with an audible thud of leather meeting leather before falling open on the dirt ground. It had been more than enough to get her to look up... and yet again, just like the first time... there he was. Standing directly over the old book, even picking it up and hefting it closed in his hand. "So...think I'm still just a figment of your imagination? It takes a bit out of me to become visible and...move stuff like this-" Without him making a single move, the volume tossed up into the air and came back down to sit perfectly in is hand before sitting itself upright and beginning to spin on it's axis like a top "So, it's a lot easier to just talk to you without actually manifesting myself... still working on that though-anyways, you impressed me with how you dealt with that weirdo, haven't seen you that mad since...well... eh, nevermind. You ended up doing my job for me, little bastard won't cross you again I bet..." "You say that as if I should be proud of myself for what happened out there." "Oh what, don't give me that crap Maya. One way or another, the fool had a harsh run in with reality one way or another. Even when I was stuck just watching over you from the shadows, I saw how he acted... most annoying person I've ever laid eyes on. All you did here was accomplish the inevitable, if he hadn't heard it from you, he would've heard it on the end of an enemy lance out on the battlefield..." Heh, and Probably courtesy of my own meddling at that...but it's not quite time for her to know. She...might not take it well right now. Definitely not. "You idiot, that's not what I'm talking about. It's what I did to him that I'm worried about, how I used this staff against him, was so absolute in my assumption that my deed was just, like I was part of the damn church. Maybe you don't have issue with what I did, but can you can speak for Donalto? What about Papa?" It was only then though, that she thought back and caught something...off "Wait, hold on. What did you mean by 'watching over me from the shadows'?" "Huh? Oh...uh, nothing, nothing at all... just making sure you stay safe, no need to concern yourself with it," Damn, I need to be a bit more careful...I don't find the right time and way to tell her, and goddess knows what she'll do to the tome in reaction. "but fine... if you're so worried about what that old man and pops would think, what are you gonna do about this then? I mean, they'd want you to fix it... and I already saw you say you were gonna do it. But do you even know where to begin trying to get through to that Loon, I mean, c'mon sis, the idiot couldn't even catch the idea that you were with that Wyvern to scare him shitless. He's denser than a blacksmith's anvil, and about as thick skulled as one too...I think you're wasting your time. Make up for it elsewhere if you feel bad, but let this sleeping dog lie. He was pathetic before all this, and he's even more pathetic now. Don't waste your energy trying to turn gold out of sewage." "...Do you remember when we would find younger kids on the streets?" "Yeah, but-" "You remember which one of us always insisted we do what we can to help them, even though we barely had enough for ourselves?" "Yeah...me. But what the hell does this have to do with that little degenerate? Hell, you couldn't even tell his age, and he looks like a man to me, walking around at that height..." "Perhaps to you... but after all this, he...doesn't seem that much different from a naive child to me. I thought he was just a deranged degenerate too not that long ago, but...after I saw him groveling like that, without me really exerting that much force compared to what I could've. I don't think he actually means or really thinks about half the things he says and does, and everything I've seen from him before adds up with it..." "So...that's it then? Really? Well..." He sighed, tossing the tome back into her lap, probably a bit harder than he meant to...given her slight flinch at the impact "Goddess damnit, fine. Guess I can't convince you to just move on with your life and leave this can of worms alone then... look, I don't know who's right about this, but if you're so convinced he's just the mind of a naive child trapped in that body, then stop regarding him like you would a grown man. It doesn't make any damn sense with your own theory. Treat him like the child you think he really is instead; I may have been the one who always insisted we help those kids, but you always ended up going the mile to make sure they were at least a bit happier than when we found them. Besides, you've already seen what happens when you talk to him like a grown man. you try and try, and then you get frustrated, start showing what you can really do with that staff, and now here you are, beating yourself over something that quite frankly, I still think you shouldn't fret over. It'll be better for both of you if you stop and rethink how to go about this." "I...huh... You do have a point. I've only ever tried approaching the problem the same basic way, and it's only amounted to the same outcome; frustration and anger. Perhaps you're right... thank you." "Don't thank me." He said flatly, already beginning to fade as he crossed his arms... the look on his face far from satisfactory "I still think messing with this fucker is a bad idea and that you'll only cause yourself more grief and suffering trying... but damn it, even though I hate the idea of letting you do it, I can't exactly stop you from doing it either... so I might as well just try and point out a way to spare you some of that suffering. Damn am I tired... didn't expect it to go on this long..." "Wait, Freyl!" She reached out, before stopping herslef mid stride. As if her hold would be enough to keep him there any longer. "How are you doing this? I...I saw you die with my own eyes, why are you still here? What about everyone else?" "I stick.... because... refused to leave." He answered, even as his voice faltered, She could feel his very presence beginning to wane, "A promise...to keep. couldn't...leave...yet...Don't worry about it. I'm here... because I damn well chose to be." And like that... he was gone with the wind yet again. -
I don't see him firing off any shots with that longbow on the battlefield, so... anyone can use a bow to take down game, far fewer can use it to accomplish the same thing against professionally trained, armored humans on the killing field. Besides, her hatred drifts more towards crossbows since the change...

All archers. regardless of race, nationality, or personal sob story. Except Hoshiko, she's cool. Yeah, that's the one thing from her old backstory that I carried over because I liked the flavor of archer blood too much. Ironic thing is though... when I originally made Maya as an OC years ago, she was infact, a hybrid Archer/Priest

Be happy she didn't drive you brain dead by overloading all your senses with immense levels of your oh so joyous PAIN. Archer Fuckboy #341 wasn't so lucky... hmm...well, seeing as we have a bit of space left in this camp scene, I do believe it's about time for a certain hallucination(?) to make another appearance...

"I...I think I've lost count actually. Do you know?" "What, you think I spend all my time watching your every move just because I'm dead? Well, I do, actually. But hell if I know, I never bothered counting to begin with..." But no, legit, I honestly don't really know XD. I'd have to go and look over the backstory again just to get a rough idea, because this definitely ain't the first time she'd done this shit to someone...
