I saw this a year or two ago. Poor guy. He probably should've waited longer than 3 months but...embarrassing him like that wasn't necessary.

  3. Yo, anyone know how to successfully put a Gif as your avi with, you know... it still being fully animated

  4. Wallace He remained unmoved as the winds picked him up and away from the shockwave tremoring along the earth, putting some more distance inbetween himself and the other boy in the process. Even with that blank mask, he still held that ultimate poker face of his, the other child's display was as trivial to him as the minute dust particles he sensed entering and exiting his little storm with every passing second. This situation was relatively simple, compared to the one that had led to this mass fight in the first place: Deb was a bird boy. Bird boys, just like regular avians, needed to be clipped. Well, in his case... more like Pinioned, but the same basic concept regardless. "Let's see you try to scout things from the air again when I'm done with you..." Almost as if in response to his thoughts, a few of the winds around him began to condense as their pressure increased greatly, converging into a tight, invisible ball of shredding force that just as quickly as it had formed, flattened out into a vorpal blade of air that sped towards the young sword user at high velocity, it's edge intended for one of his wings as Wallace already went to work again, conjuring up another of the condensed, invisible spheres and letting it hover unseen nearby, Cannon still at the ready as well. "You may use a blade of iron... but I use one of the Atmosphere. Let's just see who's sword prevails in the end, hero..."
  5. Tesla Tes didn't really think about her reaction so much as her body moved on full instinct, her arm arcing up and palm outstretched as more lightning crackled and popped around her, the tendrils of bright purple expanding and flattening into a makeshift shield burning like a little star. The twin bolts made landfall only to find themselves virtually destroyed on contact with the intense heat of her halted electrons. "Ha! That all ya got?" She laughed. She cut it short though, seeing the other girl was already aiming another two bolts right at her "Guess not..." With a single thought, a small piece of the shield before broke off, the little rogue collection forming itself into a miniature ball of glowing light just in front of the construct, virtually indiscernible from the rest of the barrier when backed by the similar radiance of it's origin. In the blink of an eye, the smaller construct elongated into a small, peircing beam of blazing light, sweeping across the arena in Artemis' general direction, it's seemingly random, zigging and zagging path leaving a deep swath burnt into the stone floor as it headed for the Crossbow wielder...
  6. Wallace He said nothing as he walked onto the stone field; not surprising, given talking was never a big habit of his to begin with. He gazed upon them all, face hidden behind that golden veil as they gathered, already eager to get into the thick of it. And of course the Body Enclave were the ones most eager of all, Harituuli acting as her usual self and the sole other boy, Deb, charging in with nearly no hesitation, beholden of about all the Testosterone-fueled bravado one could expect of a seven year old. Mr.Jeff had it exactly right: none of this really made any sense, when one thought about the circumstances. There had always been some level of innate conflict between the primary Disciplines, but... for it to escalate to this? Over something as simple as another path happening to open up for people to choose from? Well... whatever. If the adults wanted to tear at each other's throats like dogs, there honestly wasn't much any of them could do to stop it. And the Mind Instructor had another point as well... Even if this situation was completely stupid, they still had to try anyway, if for no other reason than to prove a point, and whatever that point might be, it apparently wasn't one to be made through rhetoric... "Fine by me..." the boy thought as he pulled upon the hammer of his armament. The heft of his weapon, the weight of his frail armored body on his even frailer legs, they all seemed to melt away as the winds of Tempest swirled about his mortal coil, Cannon raising as he took aim and flexed his concealed fist, fingers triggering the firing mechanism as flint met pan and all else fell into place as a blast resounded from the muzzle, sending hot, solid lead speeding for the boy charging the twins. Wallace considered it a mere warning shot as he rotated to the next chamber, hammer pulled back again in preparation. But Deb on the other hand... would probably think otherwise if it made landfall... There were certain advantages to being a group of three, and Wally figured that they'd might as well exploit it for all it was worth. Tesla The little Walker rolled her eyes in return to the old woman's glare. Nothing they hadn't gotten countless times over, it did make her wander though, "whatever did happen to make her such a tool like that? Was she born like it? Is it genetic?" she had to stifle a giggle at that as she stepped onto the field; the thought of an infant Mrs.Stanton, lying in a crib with a glare befitting a bitter, wrinkled geezer, surrounded by a whole clan of bitter and wrinkled people near identical in expression. "Kinda like little Sully when he fusses, except with, ya know, all the cuteness of it sucked out through a straw." She had to pull herself together though, she knew it. This wasn't a time for joking about, even though they were among friends and all. All the grown ups had seemed pretty serious about... whatever this even was, afterall, not just Mrs.Crabby. And already, the others were getting serious too. The Deb boy was closing in on one of the twins like he had the hots for them, and apparently Wallace didn't take kindly to anyone else putting the moves on his lady friends... "Alright, I have to stop now... really...gotta focus" She stifled another giggle beneath her helm, louder than the last but still audible to only herself. The coils entwining her arms and legs flared to life with visible static, her mind finally steeling itself for the fight ahead as she actually took a serious look at the field. So far only the boys looked to be the ones to fire any shots... typical, right? Everyone else looked to either be waiting for the other to move or busy making small talk with the opposition like Harituuli over there...she probably would've made an easy target... but a cheap one as well. The twins on the other hand... well, Wallace looked to be a bit more focused on the Melee fighter... he could've made an easy target too... but she knew it wasn't right, as sickly as the boy always was, looking like he'd fall over any moment. Always so distant, like he's not even there with the rest of them... going and taking a pot shot at him when his back was turned would be by far much cheaper than going for Hari- the beast girl probably did have the reflexes to get of the way of a surprise attack afterall. Though, to be honest, she doubted Wallace would have had any qualms about opening fire if their roles were reversed right now... "Whatever, twins it is then!" without another moment of deliberation, she brought her palms together, lightning arcing back and forth along her limbs as drew the fingers apart, cradling a softball sized sphere of crackling energy between them. All she had to do was give it a little thought, and the thing sped off towards Fowl as she hung in the backlines, leaving a blurred violet streak in it's wake as the air heated around the ambiguous ball of electrons... Ball lightning, she had always liked to call it. Even though she knew full well it technically wasn't "true" Ball Lightning and was fully capable of actually making some of the real stuff if she wanted, but, eh, details, schmetails... Afterall, sometimes it's just more fun to zap things to bits first and worry about the specifics later.
  7. "One thing you will find out very quickly about humans, my lord, is that we are VERY effective at finding new ways to kill and destroy..."

  8. Revenant vs Strider "Your little ability won't save you now kid!" The Revenant shouted with Solomons tongue as he pressed his offense, voice hoarse and manic as the comms flooded with the sheer screeching volume of the declaration. "Ragnorok, FEED!" As if on cue, Asmodeos leapt into action, sending the parameters to the blades receptor unit and setting the Vibration frequency to it's absolute maximum capacity as the blade carved it's way out of the initial slice to the Generator, an audible hum being added to the static and crackle of unbridled lightning as the weapon's glow increased ever brighter. With so powerful a current flowing through it thanks to the unbridled might of the spheres and insane oscillation rate said current granted it, the thing could have likely sundered a lightly armored opponent's defenses like a literal hot knife through butter... put together with the raw ferocity and hellish friction of each and every one of his strokes, and even with her little trick, even with those buffed defenses, the beast operating the machine had the utmost confidence in the carnage and devastation it would inflict here. Carnage and devastation he wasted no time in unveiling; Before he had even finished shouting for the blade to partake of it's next victim, already a fierce flurry of strikes were coming Striders way, the air snapping with ever greater intensity as it's limbs overclocked on the raw power flowing through and around them, his very body becoming even more of a blur as his speed added to the distorted light spectrum like a demon, slashes of blazing red heat and streaking electricity only furthering the chaos, making it more and more difficult to even discern what was going on or where the blows were coming from. Something which Asmodeus took full advantage of in the moment, exerting the intensity of the fields upon the girl's mech without mercy, the wave of magnetism rolling in an oppressively weighted force that attempted to pin her down to deny escape and expose her back- and the generator on it -even more to the merciless storm of strokes... with Revenant cackling maliciously all the while... He wasn't going to stop at just the generator. No, no, that wasn't enough...not by a long shot, for what she had done. No, there was but one suitable punishment: he was going to make mincemeat of the girl once that troublesome piece of gear was out of commision. The AI knew he could not stop this. The beast was out of his hands now, answered only to itself and whatever willpower and fortitude allowed Solomon to keep it constantly chained like he did. This was a bit much though, even for Overdrive mode... if the beast kept going like it did, kept pushing and pushing in it's warpath, something was going to give soon, and whether it would be their own mech or Strider, Asmo didn't know... But either way, this had to end, and fast... and what little control he did have over the situation, he was going to use to help speed it along.
  9. So, yeah, old Wally is great and all, but... wait folks, there's more! with lexi's prior approval, I've decided to throw in someone.... who was very special to a certain EM-wielding mechanic... here she is:
  10. When he left, he was a son, a husband, a father, and a patriot above all else. When he returned, he was nothing but a hollow and torn shell of all he had once been. It's always easy for the ones holding the reigns to start and conduct wars at the drop of a hat; it's not like their children, spouses and friends are the ones dying in foreign lands...what's a few less commoners to them anyway?

  11. Been pretty busy lately with classes about to start. I do have something in the works though, and hopefully will have it ready soon.
  12. To those of you who ever thought trying to remove a gas tank from a car to be able to preform repairs was fun: It ain't. Fuck, that was the most unpleasant job we've done yet... and this was only the first damn step of the work.

  13. I gave up on this project because Alchemy was so damn arcane and complex that not even I could make heads or tails of it enough to know how to properly fictionalize it while still retaining some sense of hard magic and consistency... enter redit though, and not long after, I've taken a page from FMA and taken just one aspect of the whole thing and used it to centralize the rest of the system around it. Talk about irony, I had always discounted that site as... well, I've restarted the...

      Another Felix

He needs to remix himself saying Hodor.

  18. Yeah, guess I'm kinda to blame for that in a way XD Didn't really expect to have us go through so much activity that the thing would get buried that quickly
  19. Well, seeing as how no one really made much of a shot at actually taking this challenge... well, given we only have knowledge of the ids of around half the gods or so at this time (being Lord, Sleeping Bear, Swagillicious, Ares, and Blink...), I'm afraid for some of the themes I don't really think fit those who have debuted so far. Regardless though, here are my best guesses, and the reasoning why... Swagillicious: Lord: Ares Bear Blink and that's my five guesses based off what I've seen so far. Let me know how right, or terribly, terribly wrong, I am. I might try to take stab at the unknown gods later on too. EDIT: I have just been informed that I failed epically here... Eh, screw it though XD It was worth a shot, and it gave me the excuse to spend an hour or two just listening to some tunes.
  20. Psssst, Jory, I kinda set up something with you and Gan and Sansa in the plaza... plus Lexington isn't even down there at this moment.... he's off discussing certain... matters related to the campaign with the other head members of the Enclave. ((This is the whole current scenario, encase you missed it))
  21. Holy hell this is going alot better than I thought XD

  22. http://twitchplayswiki.wikia.com/wiki/Bird_Jesus It's meant more as an ongoing joke within this verse than anything to be taken seriously. It was present in the original as well, and technically, I didn't even start it, a player in that one was the first to mention it... I just continued it from there, and it's even been around in pokemon RPs around here even before SoA was ever a thing. as for interactions, for now, it's really up to you. I'm not really assigning OCs to folks as I am simply taking opportunities I notice to introduce certain NPCs before the meeting. So for now, you got free reign of your own activity... I did toss ya something that perhaps septhis could investigate though, with the mention of Lexington returning and public morale dropping because of it.... and given Sephtis is a performing artist at heart... eh, do with it what ya will, buddy.
  23. Arthur, Jack, Gilgamesh, Rocky Shore, Morning "Oh yah, we do this all the time boyo!" The Quagisre, Jack apparently, responded. "Been on this island ever since the first few days... we used to play chess too ya know." "Aye, that we did" Gilga seconded. "Chess, poker, texas hold-em, gotta know when to fold em~" "Know when to hold em~" "Know when to walk away, and know when to run~" "You never count your money, when you're sitting at the table~" "There'll be time enough for countin, when the dealin's done~" The two both burst into hearty laughter, bringing their little duet to an end. Jack managed to recover first, wiping a tear of joyful amusement from his eye. "aye, indeedy." His face darkened a bit. "Until those ne'er do wells and that big, fat, beefy tyranitar came and stole it from us!" "Oh, how I wanted to kill that little bastard when he came gunnin for our boards and cards. But jack here said it would be too 'illegal' to take a bite of him and feed the rest to the magikarps... is his fault we lost it, I tells ya laddy!" "Hey now, you know old Strat and the guard wouldn't look to well on you tearing into some idiot kid whose gotten too big for his damn britches!" "Oh really now? I think I know old Strat better than you do! That Laddy is scum, he would've called what I wanted to do justice and left it at that!" The two locked each other with a fierce glare, neither willing to back down... until Gilga spat a torrent of fierce water into Jack's face, breaking into hearty laughter once more, as did the old quagsire as his tufts dripped with the frigid water. If anything, he seemed invigorated by it. "Well anyways, as you can see, boyo, we used to have alot more going on before that ruffian got our gear." "Aye, now fishing is about the only thing we have left, ya see. We do it in honor of the old man, bless his soul; was the best fishermen who ever lived, some say he could've even drawn the mighty and beefy Kyogre himself outta the waters!" "Aye that he could... but it gets a bit now and again, with little else to occupy ourselves with ya now?" Jack paused for a moment, seeming to think of something as he stroked his chin. "Say... you're going into the enclave, aren't ye? and yer new round these parts, right?" he asked. it seemed near painfully obviously he had a mission for the Wartortle.... Genis, Folie, Beach, Morning "Whoa, whoa, kid, where's all this coming from?" Folie began "Yeah sure, you may be weak and a kid and all now, but everyone starts out like that, and it doesn't mean ya'll stay that way. Hell, I was weak once, Mars was weak once, Ares was weak once." "Lies, all lies..." Mars said sheepishly. "We've always been this awesome." Ares seconded. "Don't listen to em, they were weak even if they don't wanna own up to it." Folie continued. "Look, I don't know about the whole mega evolving thing, I've never heard of a weavile doing it before, but eh, if you keep trying hard and keep your heart in the right place, I'm sure you'll get stronger at your own pace someday. Here, tell ya what, you can even keep that stone there, think of it as a reminder of what I said today. Now come on, will ya cut out the sad stuff? You're bringing down the mood with that face, kiddo..." Odd thing to say, given he himself had just nearly beaten a mon to death and was laughing maniacally as he did it... Tres, Lore Master Draidon, Grand Library, Morning "Hmmm... well, let's see... I do believe there was some spaces open on the outskirts near the western beach... perhaps we could set you up with something with a view of the sea. Ah, here's the map..." As if by magic, he reached into some concealed drawer behind the mahogany slab and unfurled a thick parchment, laying it flat on the desk for Tres to see. The thing was a myriad of life and color, and beautifully illustrated representation of Sky Pillar and the city surrounding it. It must've been utter hell for whomever created it to update, as much detail was present... "Ah, yes, here" He said, pointing to a spot illustrating a small villa in the harbor district. It looked humble enough, but rather cozy as Tres looked on. "A good spot, if I say so myself. You're lucky in a way, the old occupant was a rather... troublesome little devil, caused me the biggest headache since that Charmander sneezed next to one of the shelves... thank god Stratos finally drove him off and banished the bugger when he did, I don't know what I might've done to the little bastard if I had been forced to take action..." He gave a chuckle, despite the darker implications. "Now then, let us find you someone to help you settle him, hmmmm..." He made a passing glance around the library, countless scholars milling about and working. His eyes settled on a Flygon shelving a few materials not too far away. "Ah! Freya, come here, would you?" "Yes sir?" the other dragon responded, hovering over near instant as she dropped the heavy tome she held on the desk, looking back and forth between Tres and Draidon. "Do you need something?" "Here, take this," He scribbled something on a slip of parchment Tres hadn't even seen him pull out, using his own claws as a quill no less. "Help our duck friend here find his way to his new abode, if you wouldn't mind." "Yes, of course sir," she said, though the look in her eyes bespoke of protest even if her tongue did not. She examined the slip, giving a passing glance to Tres before turning and hovering off towards the doors. "Please, follow me." "That, my boy, is Freya. She will be your guide. Don't take it too personally if she doesn't seem too fond of speaking, not much of a socializer, that one... though in most other aspects, she's the daughter I wished I had...but, alas, I'm afraid she's the Sky Lord's instead."
  24. Well, I mean, I flat out told you guys from the beginning... I mean, come on... this is me we're talking about, I got shit ton of old mon characters just lying around waiting to be refurbished...
