I plan on starting tomorrow night. Any basic tips?

Don't jump into pvp yet. Thats a big one. Play co-op vs ai til you get it down. Look up your basic roles of league of legends and try out the various free champion given to you to start with. Figure out which ones you like so you can decide what role suits you best and stick with that until you can attempt to master them all.

It's not my cup of tea. So I won't say one way or another.
