Okay guys and gals, I have some bad news. Education has been taking so much of my time lately that it's been quite difficult to keep up with three RPs at once. You can guess where this is going, but I'm sorry to say that I cannot continue to invest so much time into this RP. It's not just this thread in particular that I plan on leaving, but also the Onyx Arcade and most of my responses/creepings in the Development section. School is reaching the final weeks, and I cannot continue to deny my work. In short, a drop from A to B is disappointing to me, and I'd like to work on fixing that right on up. I'm not leaving the community as a whole. That would suck. Instead, I'm recalibrating my time into school and less into Reborn for some time. That is to say that Adam "Keaton" MacMillan is no longer a part of the story. His partners, "Sheriff" (Vulpix, F) and "Axis" (Baltoy) are retired from his character. If anyone wants to write up a story concerning his departure, or if Ethic would want to use this departure as a plot progression, this is my confirmation that it can happen. Concerning the other RPs I am in, I will still be in them, albeit less frequently until school ends. So, thank you all for the contribution to the larger story.

Derp. I realized that Kozuto is still brewing that potion, yet also managed to pick up his staff, act depressed, and tap into the Green Phoenix's body. Let's just assume that he somehow did that while the potion was cooking please. Also, looking back at previous Group 1 posts, I realized that he, at first, wanted relations with Elves to be better, and that he would act as a sort of ambassador. However, again, his emotions overtook his judgment. Koz is just polar like that.

It was simply a matter of time before the question was popped. Kozuto should have been more prepared to handle it when it came. He turned his head, staring away for a second. "The Vanda Nomads... We are a fractured people. You're correct in saying we have no home. Only a few times before now have I met colonies of other Vanda. Others- assassins, rouges, thieves- they seldom ever stay with a group. My father ruled it too unsafe to stay in a single place for a long time. In the end, he was right about that..." his last line a whisper. He looked up, speaking understandably of the man. "I touched on this earlier, but the source of my power is not magic. It is spiritual strength, passed down through totems at a time when the first Vanda Nomads used magic. One such item is this staff of mine," he lifted his staff up from the sand, showing it to Gillem and, rather reluctantly, to Olrien for a second. The top of the staff was a thin loop that curled back around the body of the staff and grabbed around a small stone at the bottom. "I've heard plots to steal the small gem on the bottom of this staff. It's simply an accessory. Instead, the staff responds to the body of a Vanda, who can then pilot the power. This particular staff yields to me power of nature. Of course, it isn't quite my forte." Kozuto closed his eyes, tapping into the Green Phoenix, which rested on his shoulder. As he entered consciousness into the creature, the Phoenix's eyes changed from orange to Kozuto's green eyes. Being the Phoenix, he cawed softly, then returned to his Vanda body. "That right there, that was one unique trait I posses. I am great with animals. Depending on the heritage of a nomad, they can tap into some aspect of nature." He was about to talk about how his sister could tap into day and night to making thievery easier for her. But that story was too painful. He swallowed. "Getting back on topic, I cannot answer why the other Vanda is unlike me. I had the intention of helping him and he turned out to be a foe."

If possible, could you keep track, for about a week, the times that these typical trolls waltz along? Because if the timing is consistent, it's likely the same person, and chat auth can try to log on then to ban the people or whatever they deem is a suitable action. But on the more positive side, thank you for keeping an eye on the community chat.

I suppose you could call this a bump. Olrien's tea really does sound good. And I don't even like tea. Anyway, what I'm going for is some sort of rivalry between Olrien and Koz. Because Koz was attacked by elves in the past, that's good incentive to wage a secret war with Olrien.

There are the announcement messages at the start of the chat upon logging in. And they should update once league starts. But, as you said, it's not entirely definitive. Thankfully, that's only an application to the League and not any other part of the community. Pertaining to the topic, I think most users, as they should, look up to auth and mods as an example for the community. My one concern is that some of the actions the auth take do not coincide with a great example. Call me a killjoy, but I don't particularly find it funny that a person in the chat is kicked for no reason. If they are obviously spamming, hating, terrorizing, etc., then that's a perfect reason to kick. But wanton kicking is of little hilarity. Fortunately (for my not-discarded sanity), I've seen less of that, so I tip my hat to the auth. Thank you for your contributions to the community.

Kozuto nodded vigorously. "Being a shaman and a non-magic user, my only non-physical source of energy is spiritual, and through prayer I am able to tap into that. Also, as a Vanda Nomad, I know basic healing prayers. They aren't exactly up to par with powerful priests, but my physical alchemy and healing is some of the best around," he bragged. The scent of the elf's tea filled the air. At first, prejudice bittered the smell. However, if Kozuto were to assist anyone in the group, he would have to accept them. Unwillingly, at least. Taking the elf's brewing as a challenge, Kozuto rebutted, "For the mind, tea is good, but as the wound is physical, medical procedures will have to be hands-on, and tea can't... completely fill that role," he said, trying not to too harshly decline the elf's offer. Olrien was trying to help, yes, but Kozuto was still uneasy with him. He turned to Gillem. "Alright, so we can try to remove it tomorrow. For now, I'll see about killing the pain." Within a few seconds, after removing a stone bowl from his sack, one of the sandial owls dropped a rock into his hand. "Thank you, sister!" he called out, then instantly regretting it, hoping nothing heard. "Sorry." Kozuto placed the bowl into the sand, placed several leaves and a small dose of healing potion in, then began to grind and stir the concoction. "Should take about ten minutes uncooked, fifteen cooked." [OOC]: 100th post!
