  1. "Cross off your name and disavow everything you said you would not allow. We'll be no one when we're through, but everyone we knew."

  2. Let's not beat around the bush. We've all seen those doors in Reborn with the logo (the X) on them. They can be in the most standoffish places, like the Byxbysion tunnels, the Subrailnet, and Shade's gym. This is just a quick speculation, but what if some Rebornites got together and created a map, detailing the locations of these doors in relation to some common point, be it the train in the Railnet, the door under the Grand Staircase, or the Arc where Arceus lies.
  3. Or his true daughter, whom he replaced with Luna..
  4. Plus, as can be seen from Sigmund's attack on Laura/whoeverelsefromtheotherchoiceyoucanmake, he attacks the trainer, not the opposing Pokemon. It's probably best for the kids to be safe from a trainer who attacks other trainers instead of their Pokes.
  5. If Mega Evolution is added in 12, then she'll probably remove all Megas, excluding the four starters with a ME.
  6. Bien. I can definitively (no, not definitely) say Vinny will bust through a glass window at any second.
  7. Golem size sounds like some sort of unit used at fast-food places. Like a Golem-Sized Salad. Anyway, shiny sprites are like that.

    Hello everyon

Welcome. You've got a strange theme going for you, I'll give you that. For you, I have Mouse on the Keys
  9. ._. Guess I went pretty deep into the dream. That just might be it, because it doesn't match up with the rest of the site. I guess no one does read it At any rate, it can be found here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=help
  10. I don't think there's an item clause in LC. But if there is, Wooper will be the only one to hold it and I'll put other items on the others.

    Dusk stone

There's one *somewhere* in the game before Iolia, then one in the valley itself (in the southwest, if memory serves). However, once we get enough stickers (yeah right), we can reach the floor of the Department Store that sells evolutionary items and stones.
  12. The first part concerns the View Help Topics section. The second concerns the inability to post statuses on other users' profiles. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm pretty sure I'm the only one to read the Help Topics that are posted, but I'd like to bring to everyone's attention that it is rather outdated. For example, here's a snippet from the "Calendar" tab of the Help Topics: "The calendar can be used to post events for other members of the community to see. It also lists each member's birthday. To access it, click the "Calendar" tab at the top of any page." To members who know the site fairly well, it is clear that there is no Calendar tab at the top of any page except the Calendar page itself. And a more clear-cut example: "Editing Your Profile Settings When viewing your own profile while logged in, you'll see an additional tab in the middle called "Settings"." Like I previously stated, I very highly doubt that many people read the Help Topics page. However, to the few who might, it could be quite confusing, as what is read there does not match up with the site as it currently is. tl;dr Should the Help Topics page be updated/simplified? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Next, I'd like to point on that posting a status on the Profile Feed of another member does not work nor register. Simply, the post does not show, similar to posting a status from one's own Profile Feed does not work. Posting a status works only from the bar on the left. Therefore, it is impossible to post a status on the profile feed of another member. And that would about sum this up.
  13. I don't think Pinsir/Heracross show up based on time. I've changed my clock to make days pass, but to no avail. I believe you just need to move about, faint some Pokes, then return. These encounters aren't time-based.
  14. Since the 11 update, the girl you save gives you an egg instead of a sticker.
  15. Ame has said that it's just a phrase used in some acting class, I believe. But this would be interesting to see implemented in-game.
  16. At last, this was the moment Keaton was eagerly awaiting. He hoped only that his partners would listen to him. First, he sent out "Baltoy". It was a small spinning top-shaped thing. That couldn't seriously be a weapon. Unless he jousted his enemies with it, using its bottom as a sharp edge. The creature spun around several times, before coming to a standstill. It was able to stand perfectly flat without moving. Baltoy turned to Keaton, looking up expectantly. "Wow..." he mumbled, in amazement. "You're like a spinning top," he said. It levitated up, reaching his stomach and went no further, but circled him slowly. "I think I'll call you Axis, little..." Was it a guy? A girl? It seemed like it was neither. "Guess you're just Axis, then." Next, he grabbed his other capsule, tossing out a fox-like GAO. The creature was similar to a fox, but had six tails. "Incredible." It also seemed to radiate heat as he approached it. "Easy, girl," he said as he crouched down to scratch her ear. When he made contact with it, his hand warmed up instantly. He scratched the area behind her ears, and she seemed to enjoy that. "This is awesome. You're like a patrol dog. I'll call you Sheriff. Sound good?" he asked. She perked up slowly at the name, thankfully. She didn't want him dead. Keaton had two of his own creatures. Axis and Sheriff. One was a floating ceramic creature and the other a heat-radiating fox. This seemed too good to be true, especially since they seemed to not want to hurt him. However, he immersed his attention more in the creature he could understand, Sheriff.
  17. I recently got into little cup. The accuracy required in the moves during a match and creation of the team appeals to me, so I suppose that's why I chose it. Without further ado, here is my team. Keep in mind that I play competitively only on Showdown and PO, so that explains the use of Berry Juice instead of Oran Berries. Wooper (F) @ Eviolite Ability: Unaware Level: 5 EVs: 236 Def / 236 SDef / 36 HP Bold Nature - Recover - Stockpile - Toxic - Scald Pretty basic set. Wooper runs Stockpile to boost its defenses while recovering and dealing a bit of status damage here and there. When its defenses are fully set up, with its ability, Unaware, Wooper can take even a +4 Energy Ball from Chespin. Of course, because Unaware is there. Not my lead, but always great in case the foe has been setting up. Baltoy @ Berry Juice Ability: Levitate Level: 5 EVs: 40 SDef / 36 SAtk / 196 HP / 236 Def Calm Nature - Rapid Spin - Stealth Rock - Earth Power - Toxic A lead that I am debating on using (I find myself starting off with Wooper more often). Baltoy isn't the best lead, even in LC, but it's the best thing that I could find to fit what I'm looking for. Something with Rocks, Spin, and a special "attacker". In quotes because I only use the attack if all else fails. Also, QOTD: Should I run Berry Juice or Sash on this? It's not often taken down in one hit, but I find Baltoy fainting before the Juice activates. Growlithe (M) @ Eviolite Ability: Intimidate Level: 5 EVs: 196 SDef / 116 Atk / 156 Def Careful Nature - Flare Blitz - Wild Charge - Morning Sun - Will-O-Wisp Growlithe is my most common switch-in if trouble arises. I am considering investing more EVs into Special Defense and HP/Attack, because the Intimidate & Burn combo seems to cover my defense relatively well. Outside of that, Growlithe is a great attacker. It can switch in, deal some pretty good damage, then get some health back from the recoil. Pawniard (M) @ Eviolite Ability: Inner Focus Level: 5 EVs: 236 Atk / 196 SDef / 36 Def / 40 Spd Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Sucker Punch - Iron Head - Brick Break Essentially, my set-up guy for the match. The second I can switch in for a SP or SD, I do so if Wooper/Abra isn't set up on the field already. He gets in, deals great damage, and can often sweep entire teams. I don't think I'll switch him out any time soon, but I'm debating if I should rock the Eviolite or Life Orb. Pawniard can take a hit from anything, excluding a Drain Punch from Timburr. Abra (F) @ Flame Orb Ability: Magic Guard Level: 5 EVs: 196 Spd / 236 SDef / 76 Def Timid Nature - Psycho Shift - Barrier - Calm Mind - Psyshock My rendition on a stall Abra. However, it is very taxing to cleanly set up and difficult to use in some scenarios. If the attacker can get something off before Abra can burn it, then gets Abra dangerously close to fainting or cuts a harmful gap in its HP. If I am able to set up, though, then I can stall quite well. Helioptile (M) @ Assault Vest Ability: Dry Skin Level: 5 Shiny: Yes EVs: 196 Spd / 188 SAtk / 124 SDef Timid Nature - Volt Switch - Parabolic Charge - Dark Pulse - Surf Okay, I couldn't not put Helioptile on my team. I love it. And even in battle, it's awesome. Water-type attacks, no problem. Got a ground type sweeping Pawniard or Growlithe? Send in Helioptile. With the Assault vest, it can definitely take a hit. And the STAB Parabolic Charge can hurt, while giving me health back to stay in the fight. Surf deals a clean amount of damage and Dark Pulse offers good coverage. However, I am thinking of taking it out for something else. I'm open to suggestions. A thank you to everybody who can assist.
  18. Welcome. Your upbeat personality deserves an equally upbeat song.
  19. Welcome. For you, a soundtrack that I think seems to match your character. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nKZnPAQCmo
  20. Welcome. For you, I have Phoenix. An awesome song, past the first 10 seconds. \
  21. He just started the game. Miltank will be unavailable for a long, long while. Plus, that method is too slow. There's a better way to make money

    Getting Bicycle

^ That about sums it up. As Vinny said, join Magma. I didn't and I regret it. There's already plenty of Ponyta in the game.
