Welcome! To answer your question, yes, regular shinies exist alongside Reborn's shinies. There's few that are left untouched, but for the most part, each shiny was fan-made and replaces the official shiny variations. Enjoy your time here!

Well, if you take a look at Reborn, you can see it's got 18 gyms. Not specifically 16, but I don't think that could be a problem. There's also Pokemon Rejuvenation, created by Jan. In its current release, there are eight obtainable gym badges: not necessarily eight gyms, which I could explain, but that would spoil the surprise. In addition, check out Pokemon Azurite's Fan Games page, which features others' fan-made work. I'm unfamiliar with most, so you may need to poke around and find out details about each one listed there.
