After looking the guide, the event Numel doesn't have Ember anymore, now it has one of four Egg Moves, those are Body Slam, Iron Head, Stockpile and Growth. Surprisingly, only a few pokémon have them, for example, Onix doesn't get any (Poor guy).

No, I won't delete comments, but it feels like no one is giving attention if they don't comment. And ooops, I got a copy&paste error, Grotle doesn't have Withdraw anymore, it has Curse... the problem was not that because after 2 of them it could easily 0HKO eveything on Julia's gym, the problem was the damn Sonic Boom, that 3HKO both Grotle and Wormadam and Wormadam failed to 2HKO back (Bug Bite did 40% to Electrode) (And because Grotle toke out before 4 of his pokémon, including two Sonic Boom spammers in Voltorbs, he had not enough HP remaining to tank another Sonic Boom), I just won because Julia didn't kill Wormadam with Sonic Boom (It had like 17HP remaining) and used Rollout, letting me get the last Bug Bite.

Well democracy has spoken and it seems that you guys made your choices, so here are the rules: This story will have a heavier focus in plot than actual gym leader strategy. I will try to explain how I beat every gym leader but most of the attention will be focused on how my character (Suelo) feels about his actions. By general decision, I can choose when to drop a pokémon forever because it's totally otclassed by other, I will explain to you when I choose to do so, but if I have the smallest doubt it can continue to be useful I will grind him again (Or in case a pokémon form an emotional bond with the main character because of the plot, it won't be sacked). My starter will be Turtwig. I can (and will) abuse old episodes for early 'mons or sacked ones, this basically means full team vs Florina. I can only catch Ground type pokémon. In the case a pokémon evolves into a Ground pokémon yet it isn't one at the time it's catched (Ex: Nidoran, Mudkip, Grotle) it can be caught and grinded. In the case a pokémon that is Ground type DON'T evolve into one (Ex: Nincada and Pupitar) I can grind them if I feel they are useful but I can't evolve them. Set mode, makes the game harder and it's more realistic, you don't just switch after the opponent makes his move. No item in battle, this also simulates reality, the opponent won't give you time to apply a potion to your pokémon. Held item CAN be equipped, it's not the trainer the one who uses it but the pokémon itself. Expect the first update in a few minutes.

Turtwig or Mudkip? Using old episodes so I can have to chance to caught old, axed pokémon. Yes or No? Answer this to questions guys, so I can start this as fast as possible. The other 3 questions at least have 5+ answer, but this ones are pretty much ignored.

I'm going to add two new questions to the poll, you decide how this will go. Should I choose Mudkip or Turtwig as my starter? Can I go back to older episodes to farm Trapinch or other events?

Worst case scenario, I have EP14.6, EP10.6 and EP10.1 downloaded so I can abuse older events. May I ask what else was axed or changed since EP14.6? This new mechanic of the Mistery Egg can be sofreseted so I can get a new Ground pokémon before Flobot? Also... Did they axe Trapinch or it's just me?

This make things complicated, here dragons are more important that what we think as individuals, so me going my way was not something they let me do freely, hell, as soon as I hot 18 I was send to win ALL the gym leaders with my 'pesky' ground pokémon just to show my point. Luckily for me Lance heard this and show some sence to those senile bastards, that and the Gible he gifted to me calmed the waters. So, what I'm doing in a train to Reborn? Ame scouted me in one of her trips to Johto, she told me that changing airs would help me and because I was recommended by Lance (at the end of the day, I beated all the gyms, even Clair, the face of the elders was priceless when they heard this) I would be given an starter pokémon to start my journey here, let's see how this end...

So after both of my normal monotype (part 1 & part 2), mostly because I grew tired of grinding ALL THOSE NORMAL DERPS, I decided to try again, now that EP15 is out. But now with a few changes! First, the story will start probably tomorrow, mostly becuase I want you to decide a few things for me The typing will be Ground, this won't be open for discussion, it has a lot of different types in it (Yay for Fire/Water/Grass core) and not that many fully evolved pokémon, also, while it has awesome pokémon, it is not a easy mono, as the type disadvantages are thrown early when I don't have much to counter them. My starter will be Turtwig, this is because Torterra is the only Grass/Ground, there are some early Water/Ground out there and also a Mudkip event Actually, EP15 changed Mudkip event and added a Turtwig one, and because I have EP14.6 this is not a problem. Yet I want you to decide two main things that will change this story greatly, they are: If you want this story to be more focused on plot (Something new to me, and probably will drive me to continue on this one has I write it) or on strategy and team building (Like the last two ones), to be honest to you, the former will probably be updated faster and won't have much Engrish (Sometimes Spanish get the best out of me, by the way, I'm Argentinian) Should I grind ALL those damn ground type pokémon? My last Normal monotype was dropped because of this, because just before Serra they trow me a lot of new catches and it was ridiculous, more than a box and half of pokémon to train, and a lot of them were just not useful anymore, because they were HEAVILY outclassed or they were unevolved normal types (Eevee and Azurill to name a few, I couldn't evolve them and they were just deadweight), and considering that more catches would become avileable un Route 1 and 2 became unapealing, luckily for me this time, Ground wouldn't suffer of this TOO MUCH, with a MAX of 27 pokémon to grind by the end of the episode is not that bad, and with the exception of the HORRIBLE STUFF THAT IS NINCADA, all of them should be grindeable at least, also, finding that otherwise unsuable pokémon may have some over an specific gym leader is cool So yeah, you guys decide on this two things for today, and by the end of the day I will follow your recommendations. (Also, I read in On The Hunt forum that there's a new Numel event, it's before Julia? Because that would make her easier and both the Tangrowth and Rini not a nightmare)

Actually, it's not that far from Shade (Shade is your fourth gym leader, the Good Rod is after the fifth one). The Good Rod is in a house is in a house in Spinel Town. That house is empoty except for an item ball that contains it, there's also a certain event in that town, so I recomend to exit and re-enter the town until a house door is availeable (If my mind doesn't fail me, it's one house very close to the town entrance).

I will talk about the Aphophyll Beach, which has an interesting "lag effect" in my save that probably will give you some answers (Or more questions, who knows). The closer I get to the Academy, the laggier it gets, in the point which getting near it makes it near unpleyable, but just for some small tiles, until returning to normal speed that I like to have. To be more exact: The Academy, again, seems to be the problem, not having it in our field make the game runs at perfect speed, but as soon as it appears the lag comes with it, I personally felt this a lot when I was grinding my Helioptile against the Wingulls, mostly because if I went just one step down more, the game would practically froze for 1 or 2 seconds, and notoriously break the atmosphere. The strange thing is when I enter the zone that is exactly called "Aphophyll Academy", there is no lag, but the lag comes when I see the Academy but I'm still in the Beach. ______________________________ For Berryl and Rodocrine: The Bridge works perfect, even better than the part that connects it to the city, also no problems with the cementery part. But the part where the PULSE is... ugh, lag everywhere, strangelly enough, it is where the event was that it's laggy, because to the right of the PULSE the game works perfectly, but to the left it's all laggy. All the path I just did with those screenshots is so laggy it's something annoying, but probably because you don't need to use it ever again it's not something that bad. For the Jungle, it felt a bit more laggy in the north part, but it may be just me and it wasn't that bad at all. But even so, no part of ALL Berryl nor Rhodocrine works at the sheer awesome speed of the Bridge. ______________________________ To end this post, I will talk about Peridot, the north part works worse than the south (The south speed is perfect, the north one is a lot laggier). Same problem with Obsidia, the north part is all laggy, but South Obsidia is a paradise. But in general it's the WEATHERS that break the flow of the game, and the one I suffer the most is the strong winds, it makes the game fell x5 more laggier.

Actually, in my opinion editing the game to get early Goomy is a bad example for everyone wanting to do a monotype, in the Ice one there was the excuse that you DON'T get a Ice type before Julia, in Dragon, you could say that Charmander and Treecko are somewhat legal because they get a Dragon Mega, and there's Noibat, who may be horrible, but is a Dragon. So yeah, go with Charmander or Treecko, it will be more realistic than Goomy. I revived the monotype in Reborn, and I get no mention?!?!?! [/stupidAndShamefulAngryRant]

Oops, already wasted my Shiny Stone, it seems that I will need another Knock Off user Yup, farming Substitute is not a bad idea, I can probably get Spore on Smeargle because of those Paras in the Tanzan Cove, and Super Fang is on those Noivat in the Taian Mountain, but how about Dragon Rage? What does it learns it so I can Sketch it. Ugh, guys, you would be angry if I make Smeargle the first ungrindeable normal type pokemon and just permabox it? If you don't I will just Daycare it until I found some desirables moves to sketch (For those who want to know, it's a level 15 Smeargle with just Thunder Wave at the moment).

Done, and being honest, it was pure luck, like, IT WAS MY FREAKING FIRST KECKLEON! Ok, it has very good IV's in HP, Def and SDef, perfect Speed, mediocre Atk and a full 0 in SpA, but with Protean and STAB everything I'm sure I will use this quite a lot (If it had a good movepool...). Oh yeah, I won't breed the Cinccino: Tail Slap, Rock Blast and Bullet Seed are good enough for attacking... and probably the Support that a very fast Sing can give me is worth it. Is it really worth having Knock Off for that Steelix? Why? Also, a bigger problem, Eevee is very difficult to level up (Bad level up movepool and horrible stats), I need to breed a Chatot for Boomburst and Nasty Plot, that means leveling up a level 1 Chatot... and that Smeargle, ugh, can I ask you for help on how to get good moves on this one? (So it sucks a bit less).

Okay, I technicaly didn't, it was a very hard battle because Sirius decided to attack me and ignore Cain, he was cappable of even K.O.ing my six pokémon!
