Well, my Murkrow doesn't have Perish Song, as I decided that Brave Bird was a more uselful overall Egg Move back then, but I take the vote of "Murkrow for Radomus".
-
Dragalge is slow and Bulky, you will get the best of him a Modest nature, 252 EV's in SpA and HP (6 in Speed if you want), and for the movepool Dragon Pulse, Sludge Wave, Hydro Pump and Toxic is a good bet (Toxic stall is sometimes better than pure damage). Also, quite surprising that you didn't go for a Paraflinch Togekiss.

Replies: So, again there was a tie between Lairon and Ducklet, so... My choice means Lairon win. _________________________ UPDATE#9: AND SO IT BECAME HARD AGAIN Caught: Tirtouga Ducklett VS Doctor Sigmund Connal: Lost in my 1st try (How long did it take for me to write this again?) because MAmpharos is too strong. 2nd try, a few boost of Moxie and Krokorok killed everything. VS Meteor Dame Avril and Meteor Knight Steven: This battle was hard as f*ck as I lost twice, but after that I went to the box, took out Golbat and cleaned the floor with them. VS Giant Steelix: I actually forgot that Dusclops had Destiny Bond and used Will-O-Wisp against it. Anyway burn damage + Roselia killed it. VS PULSE Abra: DAMN THIS THING. It EASILY 0HKO 4 of my pokemon before I decided to be cheap and just Destiny Bond it with Dusclops. VS Noel: A very hard fought 1st try, that shamefully ended in Clefable beating Scraggy. Also failed in my 2nd try (Wait, is Noel actually HARD?). Third time was the charm as Graveler pretty much made fun of Noel (Swapped him for Magneton). If you want to know Lairon beated the Clefable, but I'm quite happy as this is the first hard battle in a while. Team: _________________________ Well, for the next update you can vote for both El and Radomus, so please don't kill me with some unusable pokémon.

Replies: So Pignite won this time, and with him having Thick Fat it's one of the first pokémon I really like! Also, the update took a while because catching and grinding 7 new pokémon is boring. _________________________ UPDATE#8: PIG(BOSS)NITE Caught: Roggenrola Sandile Aron Scraggy Skrelp Zubat Tepig VS Sirius: Easy battle, mostly because it's 2v1 but I don't care. VS Casanova Acheron: Lost against him once because 3 of my 6 pokemon were KOed beforehand. VS Meteor Grunt Devin and Sanchez: I don't even... Team member swap and I won easily, but to loose even once against these guys. VS Bennett: Stealth Rock, break the field and Ponyta sweep. VS Serra: After Boldore honorable sacrifice for the Stealth Rock, Pignite killed MAbomasnow, Mamoswine and Glaceon (Guys, Pignite may have HP but it defenses are ugly, it's slow and it's not actually that strong, but Flamethrower + Flame Charge is OP and Pignite is a boss, he won here the prize of becoming a rotation member). Finally OPMagneton killed the rest. In my normal Reborn RNG challenge it took me a while to beat Serra and here 3 of my pokemon didn't even appear, heck I didn't even need to break the field. Is this gym too easy? Also, please give her back her Jynx, fighting types have it easy here thanks to Froslass being always her last pokémon. Team: _________________________ Welp, this is quite easy now, so yeah, give me a horrible pokémon so I suffer vs Noel but if you choose an actually good pokémon I'll be happy guys.

Marrill is already in the game (Mystery Egg), also it was the only pokémon in it in EP14 and before that. Bue yeah, probably we will find some wild ones now. IMO Ame can give us pretty much all the water type pokémon now (bar some reserved for Super Rod). Also, probably events for Bulbasaur, Treecko, Mudkip, Chimchar, Snivy and Oshawott as they're not that OP for this point of the game (Chimchar and Snivy could still wait). It's too much to ask for a Togepi? Like, Togekiss is great, but now it's not that broken anymore.
-
Thanks, I also though this battle was close to impossible because the AI is broken. To be honest, if I could use 1 Full Restore or play in "Switch mode" I would probably have beaten Solaris on my 2nd or 3rd try, but even if the RNG helped me beating him in 14 tries is a great number. I'm even more surpried with Aya, I just pick a random team with SE or resistances and tried to ee how it worked (completely blind), but Magneton just made fun on her (To be fair, Magneton is actually bulky, quite fast and my strongest pokemon bar Pure Power Meditite by far). Ponyta movepool for Serra will be Flame Charge, Flare Blitz, Bounce and Low Kick. Low Kick may not be the greatest fighting type move but it's better than nothing (Also, it could 0HKO Solaris's Tyranitar easily). Scraggy is availeable now (finally), and yes, it will fight a team spot with Meditite. My strategy for Serra will be something like <Set up SR with Onix, break field with Graveler, sweep with the rest of my SE moves if possible>. Mamoswine? I think it's probably a mistake but Piloswine is working surprisingly fine right now. Blind? I guess a NFE, itemless and on set mode with a forced pokemon on each boss battle is not challenge enough on Hardcore, heck, St3ffo send me the full team of Solaris with movepool and natures so I could prepare beforehand, so no.Tl;dr: No, it's not blind, and I like that you guys spoil me the teams so I can prepare for it.

Replies: So guys, I finally did it, Piloswine is my pokémon for Solaris and for Aya: It's Magneton! ____________________________ UPDATE#7: IN MAGNETON WE TRUST Caught: None VS Aster and Eclipse: Earthquake + Discharge for the win, really, they never got a chance. VS Taka: Wiped to Gliscor in my 1t try just because in Short Circuit field Flash Cannon is Electric type, great. And he wiped me twice! ADFSSDOBGVWEOGJLVS THAT CHATOT OF DOOM! Nope, Cradily too strong. Finally, in my 5th try, Piloswine tanked everything and killed back. VS Solaris: Basic strategy n°1: Swadloon set up Sticky Web, and then try to sweep with Piloswine, Ponyta, Dusclops, Graveler and Magneton. Completely destroyed by Garchomp, not even close in my 1st try. My 2nd try was the one that gave me the int on how to win as only Tyranitar and Excadrill survived, and if I could use my Full Restores I could have won... After 6 lost the day changed and so did the climate from clear skies to Sunny Day, let's see if this helps. In my 10th lost I could finally see his last pokémon, Excadrill, but I lost anyway. Note: Does the AI have magic overpredicting powers? Like, when my Dusclops suicide himself with Destiny Bond to kill Garchomp the AI overpredicts my switch to f*ck me up? 14th try, Swadloon set up his Sticky Web and damages Scizor with Bug Buzz before fainting, Ponyta came in murders Scizor with Fire Blast (the damage from Bug Buzz was needed to 0HKO) and I switch to Piloswine when Garchomp goes out, but this time finally the RNG finally shone on me and Garchomp missed 2 attacks, allowing Icicle Crash to murder it. After that Magneton killed the Gyarados, Dusclops used Destiny Bond on Tyranitar, Graveler earthquaked Excadrill to death and finally Magneton punished Mandibuzz, epic win in not that much tries. Yes, the RNG gave me that win and I don't care. Also, there's no team screen because the team is automatically healed after the battle, so here's the team after it. Team VS Cain: Hi cain, I actually forgot I had to battle you here... Oh well. Piloswine destroyed it, no point of telling more than that. VS Fern: 1st try, death by Serperior (hey Servine, when will you learn that f*cking Leaf Storm?) Finally won on my 4th try when Serperior missed a Leaf Storm and Vanillish killed back with Ice Beam. VS Aya: I... won on my 1st try somehow. Like, Magneton just said "F*ck it I'm going to kill everyone", and so he took out like 4 pokémon. Discharge + Flash Cannon + Metal Sound OP please nerf. Team: ____________________________ Wow, now it feels like I got through the hardest part of the game alive! But I guess the game has a lot of surprises waiting for me, so cast your votes for Serra!
-
Small question about Solaris's hardcore AI. Does the AI have magic overpredicting powers? Like, when my Dusclops suicide himself with Destiny Bond to kill Garchomp the AI overpredicts my switch to f*ck me up? I'm about to kill someone, if I choose Ponyta or Graveler he goes with Gyarados, but if I choose Magneton he goes with Tyranitar
-
Even with NeverMeltIce, Icicle Crash is a 2HKO, and Icicle Crash + Ice Shard fails to KO. The biggest problem is Ttar right now, I need a way of making Ponyta live longer (or, you know, change Piloswine for a better pokemon).
-
Just to make a small upload, I'm strugling against Solaris, because of your HORRIBLE choice of Piloswine. Guys, Ice stab is nerfed un this field, and Trash is also nerfed, I hate you all.
-
Shameless bump of this post. Hey guys, you can still cast your votes for Solaris, so don't forget to do that! Also, can someone tell me his pokémon and levels? So I know what and when to expect it. Theorymon for the win!

First of all, thanks you everyone for reading my run! This time we had a tie with Onix and Krabby, so the winner was decided by random.org So the winners are Onix and Meditite, not so bad actually. _________________________ UPDATE#6: POKÉMON REBORN EASYCORE Caught: Ditto (Illegal, but can help with breeding... I guess) Meditite vs Meteor Knight Kenan: I died twice vs this guy because only 3 of my team members were alive... I had to use some Revives (obviously before the battle). VS ZEL: Only Jolteon was difficult, but Magneton, Klang and Dusclops made me win in my 1st try. VS Magma Kingpin Maxwell: Used as a test to see if my team was ready for Cal and... it was a joke. In my 1st try Onix made fun of his team, forcing switches and damaging pretty much everything with Stealth Rock and such. No problem at all. VS Cal: There was no rain in this week so I went on a clear day and didn't abuse rain, like a boss. Onix used SR and then Murkrow punished everything with Brave Bird (he EASILY killed 4 mons!), finally Graveler finished the job. Team: VS Victoria: Kiki's test team proved to strong for Victoria, also please nerf Murkrow! VS Kiki: Swadloon made it's job with Sticky Web, after that Meditite cleaned the house until Medicham came out, but Dusclops killed it. Shame I lost Murkrow and Gothorita stupidly. Team: _________________________ Damn game, from very hard to stupidly easy, Commander this is not what I expected in b4 I never beat Solaris. Jokes aside, Murkrow w/ Brave Bird is too OP, rarely miss the 0HKO and it's my fastest pokémon if I'm not mistaken, add the Sticky Web crippler of doom and you kill everything. Also, I will double update next time with Solaris and Aya in the same update, so please cast both votes for the obligatory pokémon. Finally, new rule (Solaris's rule), if I die 50 TIMES, I may edit the other rules so I can win.

Good job mate, now if you want to save the Police Officer the mist Corey was hell to me, a lot more difficult than Shelly or Shade. Good luck!

Put my NFE Hardcore suicide as on going, also there's another normal monotype run which I also abandoned around Serra. Anyways, great post.

Yes, Pawniard will evolve anyways upon leveling up, and for Piloswine go to the move relearner and give him Ancient Power. Not yet, as the only Magmarizer you get is wasted on the Magby, probably we will get another in EP16. Magmar learns Lava Plume at level 36 to destroy the field. Both Rhydon and Hawlucha have Ice weakness, so they're not the best options for Blake. Stunfisk is found in Aphopyll so you can't get Vulpix until you go back to Reborn. Here are some movepool you could use, if you want: -Surf -Dark Pulse -Extrasensory -Grass Knot (If you have the TM) / Something -Megahorn -Close Combat -Night Slash -Bullet Seed -Earthquake -Ice Shard -Ice Fang -Trash -Rock Slide/Stone Edge (Choose your favourite) -Flamethrower -Psychic -Explosion -Iron Head -Night Slash -Brick Break -Swords Dance -Flamethrower/Fire Blast -Lava Plume -Brick Break -Sunny Day

If we are thinking of an anime, it cost around US$ 2-4 MILLION to make a MID-BUDGET 12 episodes anime, heck, a US$2 million anime could be considered a low budget one. Yes, 4/5 of the budget goes to paying the TV to broadcast it and buying the rights to animate something, but even so it's very difficult (To not say impossible) for us to animate something. A key frame (the drawing that's used to animate something) can be used for 5-8 seconds MAX on a scene before it becomes repetitive, add that Reborn is a heavy in action story so key frames would be quite numerous, and those things are very hard to draw. Yes, we could go to full CG style like RWBY, but I don't know any good CG animator that would join a big project for free. Voice actors had been already covered by Ame, even if we do search for people in the forum who would do it for free, the quality would be hard to find. And the most difficult of all of these, doing this in a relative short amount of time, you can have a year or two between episodes or people will forget about it. Doing a comic is more possible, we need someone who wants to do it and know how to use Illustrator/Photoshop/Random drawing tool from the PC. I have seen a lot of comiclockes (nuzlocke comic) in the internet and they're awesome, but yeah, we need an artist with a lot of free time to waste.

Yes, use a Common Candy any time your pokémon go over the level cap, or they may not obey you. As for Blake, I don't remember having problems with him but you should use the following pokémon: Greninja resist Ice so it could help. Heracross because of it's typing. Evolve Piloswine to Mamoswine, and use an Ability Capsule to change it's ability to Thick Fat or Snow Cloak. Solrock because of it's typing. Catch a Pawniard and evolve it to Bisharp. Pawniard is found wild in Route 4 Do the event of the Magby, Magmar may help with your lack of Fire Types. Here's a video on how to get Magby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YXlGvOkAqU Train those 6 up to level 70 and you shouldn't have any problem.

I'm guessing you want me to use Bonsly for Cal, okay, that's not so bad, the only problem is that Krabby is winning! (Please someone vote for Onix). Also Bonsly don't learn Leech Seed. I'm guessing you want me to use Meditite for Kiki, who at this point probably is my fixed 'mon because of 3 votes. Not a bad one I guess. >Can't learn ANY Psychic type move at this point beside Confusion Okay it's quite bad... I'm obligated to beat Solaris with my ruleset, fml. Also, that last comment sounds like I will ragequit around Noel, at least tell me I'll get alive to Agate or something...
-
>Goes to Bulbapedia to check Krabby BST and movepool I hate you guys... Wait what, why is Magnemite pushed back? I don't think there's a better place for him to be that Shade's Gym (Well, probably the Secret Room or the Wasteland)... Right now my BEST WAY of winning is by using Sticky Web, as most of the gym leaders are quite weak to the speed drop, but that doesn't work on anything hat can one-shot Swadloon... Hey Commander, where do you think my run will end because it will turn impossible with my ruleset (Solaris? Noel? El? Charlotte? The double battles at the mansion? Terra? Ciel?)

UPDATE#5: 3 MONTHS LATER Caught: Beartic (Illegal catch, for breeding) Sniwub Magnemite Duskull Porygon VS Fern: Hi Fern, meet a team full of anti-Grass pokemon... Well having Growlithe has the lead was a bad idea and Commander, what the hell with the level curve, his ace is Lv38 when you are about Lv34. 2nd chance and the RNG was good to me, Murkrow destroyed the Ludicolo and then it was a clean Ponyta sweep thanks to Serperior missing a key Aqua Tail. VS Cain: In my 1st try Luxio destroyed Samurott, and then a Murkrow sacrifice let Ponyta kill Nidoking, Muk was later and Inferno burned. Finally Graveler came in, used Rock Polish while Muk died from burn and sweep through Venomoth and Haunter. <Note: Here I decided to breed a Icicle Crash Sniwub and a Destiny Bond Duskull, the Duskull is Adamant and has awesome IV's, expecting a lot from it> <Note: Also, I don't know if this i a Reborn oversee or a Hardcore one, so I will post it here, but MAGNEMITE MOVEPOOL WASN'T UPDATED TO ORAS AND IT'S STILL XY, thanks to this I can't have Discharge for Shade except I grind Magneton (Who has his ORAS movepool updated) to Lv44, fuck my life> VS Shade: 1st try with my "good strategy", sweeped by Rotom... 2nd try... about the same. My 3rd try was SOOO CLOSE, but Chandelure killed Magneton... Here I realized that Litleo was horrible to this point of the game, so I swapped it with Dusclops. 4th time was the charm! Swaddlon used Sticky Web, and Piloswine sacrificed himself so Murkrow could kill Rotom and heavily damage MGengar. After that, Dusclops killed Gengar and burned Golurk before switching to Herdier, who could easily boost himself with Work Up. Finally Herdier and Magneton could sweep. Team: _____________________________ Hey guys, I'm sorry it took so long, but next update should be Cal, but if you guys want a longer update, you can also vote for the pokémon I have to use vs Kiki (If you don't, well, you will have to short updates).
-
It's not Gengar's or Mewtwo's quality but it's there, and Technician is a great ability. To be fair, Ambi NEEDS to use at least once Nasty Plot to do any sort of damage, but after that it becomes stronger that any unboosted Sp. Sweeper (At least, in my save it was stronger than my Modest 29 IV's SpA Gardevoir without a Calm Mind on) and it's coverage is actually very good. Also, I want to see what's your recommendation on how to beat Solaris' Garchomp, like, most of the non-competitive players don't win that battle.
-
Hey Chubb, just a small recommendation, but mention in Aipom's analysis that it learns Nasty Plot and Swift by level up (Also Hidden Power, Water Pulse and Shock Wave later in the game), in my RNG run my Nasty Plot Ambipom was awesome.
-
Hey mate, cool idea, I want to see how does this end. Tynamo can be catched before Julia if I'm not mistaken, also, you don't need HM slaves in Reborn because the HM works like TM's and can be forgotten. Also, good luck against Julia and Flobot, not even Vanillite will save you.
