No no I mean Effort Values, I know that level by level, the EVs raise your stats, so I wondered if giving common candy makes my pokemons lose EVs too

I am trying to level up Venusaur and Swampert, I caught them yesterday and I need to level up them, but the other 3 pokemons (Infernape, Gyarados and Magneton) are already at level49 and I really can't defeat an ice leader with Venusaur and Swampert right now so I thought... what If I fight with the other 3 seriously and them give them a common candy? The onky doubt is about the EVs loss, a thing that I really don't want to notice... Does anyone know if they low the pokemon's EVs? I'm a real perfectionist about EVs breeding. EDIT: this necessity comes even by the fact that after the seventh badge, I was thinking to low the level of Magneton to 32 and them evolve it into Magnezone, but I really want to maintain his EVs

yup, I used them and smashed now I'm going to see if Bulba has spawned, but the Mudkip man didn't appear so I doubt it YUP, it's there
