Ye that was the weirdest thing about the game. They kinda just throw that at you and don't explain it. I'm intrigued where they will go with it. However, it's got the chops ... or at least the showing of them, to be solid regardless of narrative elements due to how strong the gameply aspect is already.

I've sunk 21 hours into it and im fine not knowing wtf is going on. So long as i eventually get resolution, i'm fine. Praise early access, its cool to watch a game grow up.

It can be. I'm a bit more jaded having seen some companies do some shitty things with it, but stuff like Darkest Dungeon and hopefully Dead Cells restore my faith in it.
