  1. Okay, Better from what you first had, but i'm going to pick out the flaws in this one. A lot of it is just lore-related or just makes me think of a sueish character, so it should be easily fixed. First, the green: Thats all fine, but don't limit yourself so much. The idea behind this RP is that people select their own Gift that they use with creativity to overcome their obstacles. Lethality has to have a limit, as commander stated, but it isn't out of bounds, so long as you don't guarantee a kill.. You don't have to get rid of it all, but those parameters may as well be omitted. For examples, look at the other Gifted notes, only the really abstract had a few more lines than normal. Next, the yellow. The Shields have no say in the police department, aside from the motion they put forth recently to allow Gifted into the force. Maybe you meant the Scales though, they definitely align with your Justice theme more. Now for the Orange. These highlighted areas are examples of What I expect from a Sue character. There's a topic on the RP section that explains what these are. First, he is strategic and rational when calm, but is easily influenced by his anger? That's an immediate juxtaposition that I myself made when I made my first RP character. It just doesn't work together and from what I've seen is a very common convention of a sue. Next, his Vigilantism. This isn't something that would be possible, especially with the police force knowing and able to counter Gifted as needed due to having info on every single Gifteds powers. And if it hasn't been said before hand, the reigning crime syndicate has access to these records. This can't work, or he'd be dead very early in his career. Now we move to Red. Simply put, this is Suism in the way that this Character was Singled out in some way or another, becoming a chosen one. I'm not going to lie, kinda annoyed about this flaw, as I've made it clear in my writings that the Gifted are not liked, and would not be treated this way. It makes me think you just made this character out of the blue and moulded the world to fit him, rather than the other way around. Regardless, I'm going to put it behind us and move on: But this needs to be fixed. No Pistols. Metal is rare, and Gunpowder just as much. I did state the Tech level was quite simple before much tech could be developed, or in this case salvaged, However, I did not specify any thing bout guns, so I'll let you off with that one. Finally, he couldn't have applied to the shields before the events of the story, it was a dream until the time the RP takes place in. Overall, it's not an ideal character, but if this is your first RP, then this is a good first try. (I was much worse myself). But he still needs some work before being ready for deployment. Capiche?
  2. You do realise that there's not going to be any form of killing, right? Murder is straight up illegal, these are normal people trying to deal out what they see as justice and they're right outside a building with way too many Law officials.
  3. I'm fine with that. But none of you will have met the big NPCs barring school staff or specific NPCs.
  4. Hutch, I spy a decent few anime in that list. I'd probably recommend Katanagatari and binbougami ga if you want something a bit different.
  5. ((This has been at a standstill for far too long. I can edit/delete as necessary.)) After a short, paranoia inducing trip across the sands, Darius came upon the fight. Shocked, Darius rushed to tackle the man, who was about to impale Leon.
  6. Whit allowed himself a small smirk, satisfied with his work, secure that no one would notice him. He established himself once more, making sure he was ready should he need to be. He also didn't fail to note that it was partly the beasts fault for moving at the exact worst time. He needed to be better, he couldn't rely on a fluke like that...
  7. Stratos Cogs turned in Elizabeths mind. She was unsure to let the woman go or to try and draw her in. She was intelligent, but her superior seemed to want grunts more than anything. On the other hand, if she brought in this woman and she proved to be an asset, even if only temporarily, "Well, whilst you are here, would you like to at least apply to the Swords party? If you wish, you can always turn it down, but wouldn't a stable job be a nice option?" She tried, compromising in her attempt to draw Lucille in. Commander & Gotwala ((Feel free to head towards the barracks in the military quarter, interfere with the crowd, or just call it for this day.)) Lieutenant Timms nodded and called in the next people. After a while, he called in Richard, resigned to the common official drawl that he expected. The Crowd "BELIEFS?! What the ever loving fuck are you talking about, this bastard was bloody fear-mongering! There was children around here, listening to this shits horror stories! What the fuck are you on about, Beliefs?!" She then turned to the other bystanders. "You all going to stand for these guys scring children, eh? Or are you just as bad as them?!" She called out, rallying the crowd. The old man croaked out a few words. "It's true, ya damn fools..." Bagel Darren smiled at Seths remark. "Believe me, I don't know anything about the political world. I only just got out of here last year, and I've been too busy trying to get a foothold in the world to take much notice of politics myself."
  8. Murdoc accpeted. From the sounds of it, he'd appear after the fiasco with the crowd is over to help the old man.
  9. Claude softened up a bit. Staying annoyed in a conversation wasn't his strong suit. "Actually, no, Coleres capture was a complete and total accident. But if you want to hear more about that, I'll tell you later. Looks like you're about to collapse." Claude said with a frown.
  10. "You have a fear of something. you learn about it so you can get the fuck out when you can or counter it as easily as possible. At least, that's what happens when fear isn't born out of ignorance, and I know all about that..." Claude explained. "Besides, even if none of that happened, the Sandstorm might have simply helped Colere and Aggron hide some more. I had no clue that snorlax could use earthquake..."
  11. Stratos Elizabeth never batted an eye. She knew full well what her compatriots thought of the Gifted and she was selected due to her persuasie prowess and capability to hold her tongue. Such questions were not unexpected. "Why, if such lies were true, would I be here, extending a welcome on behalf of the Swords to you all?" Bagel and Snap With a smirk replaced on his face, Nigel called out to Seth as he left "Fare thee well, feel free to join the Swords, having such a fool on their side will be a great boon to us". After a few more people asking mindless questions, Nigel called in Kyrie. "Hello madame. Feel free to ask any question you wish. I am here to help" He claimed, and innocent smile now perched on his face. As Seth exited, he was caught by Darren and Sabrina, who were still deciding upon what to do. "Excuse me" Darren began. "You don't look too happy with what happened between you and that man. Might I ask what happened?" Darren was slightly concerned if the Shields rep was pissing off anyone he so chose...
  12. Claude glared at the other Coordinator. "You do remember which program you're in, right? Besides, there was no mistake in the beginning. The sandstorm had a role to play, look at when Aggron was body slammed, the sand reduced friction and made it easier to slide Snorlax off his armour rather than pin him down as well as giving Aggron that natural boost steel types and such get when it's dusty. And the roars were an attempt at distracting the brute. Any other "Mistakes?"" Claude poured rhetoric itno that last question.
  13. Bagel and Snap Nigel smirked. "Oh my, how very blunt of you" Nigel droppd a smirk, his mirthful eye s now brimming with anger. "Now, listen here you absent minded fool, the Shields are a party of their own. We fight for the consolidation of the city and improving it for all it's children. This includes the Gifted, thus the support from them. However, we are by no means the "Voice" of the Gifted, else you would have seen Gifted members a long time ago. Also, If you sign on with us, then there won't be any grand schemes afoot, and I do hope you know this, but Killing is Illegal you know. I suggest you put a leash on that imagination of yours. Now, are we done here, or are you mellow enough to still want to sign up despite my minor tongue lashing? I spy a lovely lady in the line, and I wouldn't want to keep her waiting..." Nigel flashed a grin at Kyrie after he spoke. Commander Timms appreciated the straightforward nature of the question, even if he distrusted the mask they wore. The Lieutenant picked up a note with a scrawl of handwriting on it from a pile and handed it to Emelia. "That's a pass to be trialed and let into either the Police force or the Internal Combat Force, or ICF. Gifted aren't allowed in the front lines against the savages." He informed Emelia. "Now, are we done? Looks like an officer wants a word with me for some reason, and I'd like to be done with it quickly." Stratos An enchanting grin preceded Elizabeths words. "Ah, yes, there are ever so many cunning rumours spread about the city, I would be glad to correct any misconceptions you may have. Our, the Swords, goal, is to use the almighty power of Trevalus to reach out into the lands that was once ours, now infested with terrible savages, and use that land to bring even more prosper to our fair city. We wish to work with the people to grow and increase our standing in the world, to that of what we had before Man fell." The explanation was ended with another lovely grin, almost punctuating the speech she had used to manipulate countless morons. The Crowd The womans features twisted into a scowl as she glared at Desmond. She clicked her fingers and a faintly purple gas spouted from her palm, corroding the petals. "Mind your own damn business you fool, this fuck was screaming and shouting about how buggered we all were. None of us want to hear that, especially from an old cunt who's well off on his damn military pension. Now, fuck off before I melt off your damn clothes."
  14. I wanna say that the closest you'll get is emboar or Donphan (Tusks)
  15. Claude was elated. He immediately went to work, using the medicine given to patch up Colere. Whilst not good as new, with a little rest she would be alright. Before Claude returned her to her pokeball, they looked at each other for a second. There was a new look in her eyes. Maybe one with some respect in it...? With a flash of light, she was resting in her accidental home. Claude was shocked at himself. All throughout that battle, Claude had controlled not one, but two rock types, and he hadn't thought about it for a second. He really was changing... hopefully for the better. He had a stupid grin when Lancelot and Doux rushed over, Doux chirping happily for his master and Lancelot bouncing around like a maddened mankey, all hyper after seeing his master fight. "Well, I think that went incredibly well..."
  16. ... I always thought you were Rosensong for some reason.
  17. That series has an insane amount of notoriety due to the amount of audiences it touches. A lot of people in the west who rarely watch anime enjoyed the series due to it's similarity to the various detective shows you get on TV and lack of anime tropes, and the innovation that is a trademark of Anime in general that attracted the normal anime fans.
  18. Eyo, nearly 25 pages since my last visit. Can I get a welcome back Rose?
  19. "Now, Aggron, Duck beneath it's attacks and use Head smash! Send the Brute flying!" Claude commanded. Picking it's moment, Aggron broke the protective barrier and ducked as ordered, stepping into the snorlaxs guard and ducking it's head, aimed directly at the centre of the snorlax gigantic frame.
