1: If you dropped Steins Gate because of Daru within five episodes, you dropped it way, way too early. SG is largely set up for 12 episodes, cockslaps you on the thirteenth then leaves you with your jaw hanging in the breeze for what's left. Give that another go, Daru is an ancillary character. 2: Lelouche is a fuccboi but he pulls off some cool shit. There's a decent cast to make up for him if he isn't appealing as a character, main reason to watch is to see if the show can wow you one more time.

1: This would probably be better served in the CW section though this being the wasteland it is a catch all 2: Your writing comes off as pretentious and far too vague without proper description of sensory details, which are fairly scant. Developing the characters surroundings is a good way to help construct the scene, obviously, and it's deceptively easy to tailor these details to support your general themes.
