Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Felicity replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Upon reaching the area, Claude had immediately sat down, closed his eyes and put his hands on his knees. He entered a "Trance" (As he liked to call it) similar to how he was when he first picked Lancelot. He waited, calm, allowing his thoughts to flow and whirl in his mind, taking their natural course in his mind. It was after a good while that Claudes eyes finally opened and he stood, a course of action set in his mind. He went and got a camera. He beckoned Doux and Lancelot to his side. "Friends, what are your thoughts on an exercise in climbing?" Doux and Lancelot looked at Claude, then each other and gave a cautious affirmative. Sometimes, they didn't have any idea what their master was talking about. It wasn't until Claude marched over to the tallest tree that they understood, and Lancelot began climbing beside Claude, with the help of Doux. Soon enough, Claud was at the very top of a tree, balancing precariously as he gazed all around him. Lancelot and Doux were just underneath Claude on a more stable tree. It was at this point Claude began his vigil for the wondrous sight he desired. -

Whit nodded to himself, acknowledging his orders. He took his sniper rifle and hoisted himself up onto the transport, setting himself up for when his skills would be needed. He then began his vigil, wary of anything and everything that could pose a threat to the group.

btw, just assume Claude went with Evan and co. I don't particularly want to make a post which will amount to "Snarky comment as he walked out."

Again, being a support character isn't necessarily a bad thing for Claude tbh. When I think of what role he'd have, he'd be the guy to stay behind to stall whatever bad guy is coming for time despite being scared shitless. Or angry as all fuck.
-
Personally, I'm content for Claude to be the equivalent of a support character, so long as he gets to shine at least once.

Don't you DARE use my baby as a sponge, or I'll drop kick you into a shedinjas arse. Also, Darker tones sound fine, but I don't know how that will pan out with so many varying people. I do also have a sneaking suspicion half of us will try to be the "Hero" in these dark times.

Lance was now fairly stuck in the mass of snow Glacien had made, and both he and Claude were alarmed. "Woah, is this ok? I mean, i fell bad for the poor sods who have to clean it up... That could perhaps be us." -

"Robert dear, that was terrible, it sent a shiver down my spine. Let me just recall my Doux, he naturally doesn't like cold." Claude joked, hoping to brush aside the momentary awkwardness as he called Doux back into his pokeball. In the meantime, Lance, who had no issue with the cold jumped around on the floor, excited and curious. -
Being stupid, all nighter ho!

I'm just using it as an excuse to not shave

Well, that's not the impression I get from Evan tbh. It seems to me that if someone's intelligent and is generally a useful person, which Claude is behind his veneer of rainbows, he gets on with them. That's the the impression i've gotten from his interactions. Besides, dismissing someone due to being flamboyant is very narrow minded, especially when there's more to a person, which I plan to display throughout this story of course.

"No time like the present, unless you've tampered with that too" Darius agreed, ready to head on. He gazed around, looking at the scenery, wondering if he'd be returning sooner than he'd like.

What about your lights? Or your general household appliances?

"And now you have taken us to the bloody afterlife!" Darius cried. He had just made a vow, and he was sent to hell, or heaven, or whatever it may have been. Fantastic! "And what do you have to do with this?" Darius asked of the Young boy.

What did Ryan mean by that? Claude was flirty, sure, but it's not like he was out to seduce any male that twitched. He hadn't even particularly noted Evan changing. This time when he spoke, his words were slightly more forced. "Believe me babe, our definitions of "Paradise" are quite different..." -
Ok, with everyone treating Claude as the lovable perv, I think i've actually got a nice little character arc plotted out for him

I couldn't give a proper answer. Not once could I say I've ever seen "power" in it's purest form. I've never been in a position of power, nor have I been the direct target of such power. I have seen people with power through that lens which is the public eye. Over all it seems to be something that no one knows how to handle, at least no one outside of fictional stories, and anyone who has it is under such scrutiny that they cannot do anything with it without being called out. That's what power looks like in the public eye. To me, it seems to be linked with strength, the kind of strength that just let's you get back up after getting kicked back down, again and again, But the moment strength turns to power is the moment you use that strength to have an impact on those around you, for better or for worse.

Claude gasped, not so deeply offended at Evans statement. "Why, I gave you my word that you would not be kept up at night, why ever would you doubt me? I am WOUNDED good sir!" Claude cried imbuing his actions with a dramatique that told of a grievous wound, clutching at his side in mock pain. -
I left the wording open in case Ryan wasn't staying with Misters Fantabulous, Supportive and Angry, but it was a natural assumption for the character. Also, no more innuendos tonight, sleep reigns.
