That's just a woman abusing technicalities to spite the father. I don't know how to parent, that's something you only learn firsthand and I can only speak from how I was raised. That said, I think there is an ideal balance with how strict you can be, leaning most of the time towards being stern. Not just to teach discipline but to teach your kids how to work around stern authority figures. If you're gonna lie to me, you had better do it well or I will take any privilege I damn well please and then lock your ass into the house if I have to. Oh, and don't restrict kids. Limitations shouldn't be like fences for them to climb over, they should be ledges for them to step off. You set down the warning signs and if they still go walking off then they'll have to deal with the consequences. If they're smart, they'll take the signs advice.

I mean the movement speed boost is an unsung hero whenever I've played Udyr, especially when ranked up, compared to the stun it actually gives him. Plus movement through minions matters that little bit more. I once saw an udyr getting chased by four people be exhausted and still get out with bear. For him though it's a matter of not giving him an opportunity. In lane try not to push up lane too far without a lot of vision to save your ass. In teamfights, hit the shit out of him. He'll prolly turtle for the shield which is a better alternative to bear.

Hi, it's been a while since I poked my head in here like so. 'bout february. Hard to stay away, even for just 5 months. I've been considering a limited return to this space since a certain emperor drew me in for questions on a certain fiery RP. So this go around I'm trying for the new(ish) position of GM and I'd like to try for a short and sweet RP that is essentially dungeon and dragons simplified. I understand that part of the DnD experience is the social aspect, playing with your friends during the moment and the sense of triumph you can feel from the rng dice rolls. That said, the basic premise of most DnD campaigns translates well into an RP adventure. Heroes, monsters, quests, rewards. I also have a plan of action in mind taken from another game to help people interact right from the get go and craft character dynamics to make interaction easier and more interesting, something we've seen be a recurring issue within the community. If I get enough interest, I'll go into more detail on this in the OOC, should I set it up. Like I said, I want this short and sweet. You guys can have personal triumphs over monsters of the dark but you won't be altering the fate of the universe. No faffing, you get given an obstacle, you overcome it, next thing to kill and loot.With this model, I aim for this to be the first RP to have a genuine resolution. So, in or out?

How do you deal with stark and plain fear, like a horror from the dark popping out at you in a film?

“C’mon Mama, I want to see the Golems and go ride the Enchanted Road!” squealed the shrill, excited voice of the youngest sibling in a family of five. Today was as close to a once ina lifetime event for the family. The joyful gleam in their eyes and wide, crooked grins were heart warming as they passed the threshold into the Labyrinth of Wonders. Though only a labyrinth in name, the site strove to encapsulate the sense of fantastical adventure found in the bard's fond tales of the once ghastly dungeons. Fairy lights sparkling in a myriad of opalescent colours, sapphire blue, the soft shades of twilight, verdant green hues. They were fueled by magic and drifted throughout the mountain hollow that housed the park and lit the roof above to imitate a bright, multi-coloured starry sky. The floor was similarly lined with such lights. They guided no one though as the guests who paid for a wand were able to shift the lights at their will, shifting the lights in the floor at their whim and writing in the colourful sky. Even with the shifts though, the lights never left a part of the ground unlit and in doing so a strange series of paths were still formed, despite any meddling. Truly a labyrinthine path with a mind of its own. In the far distance squeals of delight and screams of fright could be heard like the crisp, clear note of a bell being rung. It charged the milling crowds of people with anticipation, excitement, sympathy and a little bit of fear. This did not dampen their curiosity as they approached the various attractions scattered around, or in some cases wandering throughout, the park. Popular with the children were the ridable golems, decorated with sparkling gems that cast forth a lightshow that played merrily with the glow of the fairy lights. They were also artistically painted with a variety of exotic designs that snaked along the monolith men’s bodies. Some styled to look like a roaring fire, some like crashing waves of the sea. Others had green vines, painted and real, snaking along their torso and around their limbs. The children held the reins and piloted the golems around the park, delighting in the way they could see so far above the crowd. They called out to their fathers, now so small and blushed as their mothers cooed and cheered for them. There were not just men though, formations of living rock could be found in the shapes of fierce beasts like wildcats, wolves and bears, so tame in their earthen forms. There were also alien creatures recognisable only by the beautiful patterns on their wings that were golem versions of the teeny tiny butterflies so common in the forests and fields. They allowed the brave children to soar away for the earth, if only a small height from the ground. More cries, but from a different location. The Enchanted Road had moved. An intricately designed chariot of stone empowered by magic riding upon a glowing teal blue road that formed as it moved forth throughout the cavern. It flew quickly yet gracefully through the entirety of the cavern, never retracing its journey as it rose and dove like a great earthen bird. Eventually it settled down at a spot decorated with gems of the same shade of teal, one of many scattered around the park. One had to be fortunate to find the Enchanted Road after all. Not that the search was uneventful. Magicians of all kind walked throughout the caverns. Apprentices exalting in the opportunity to put on a display for the people. Pyromancers loosing jets of flames in mind boggling colours. Aquaphages tracing countless glittering paths in the air with streamers of water tipped with shining spears of ice. Aeronauts dancing elegantly throughout the skies of the cavern, occasionally hopping onto the Enchanted Road to the shocked gasps of their audience with wide, friendly grins slapped onto their faces. Here, magic was for everyone. Fun for all the family So this was based off a random ass status musing of mine. I gues this was a test f sheer description and vocabulary. It's lacking in content and some detail but this was another late night thing and it does what I think it wants to do anyway. Thoughts would be appreciated.
