Tbf I'm surprised it wasn't set for 24 episodes instead. It was a fairly strong show, right? Judging by the previous run of the series. You'd think that would instil the confidence to give it a more substantial episode number.

Danganronpa looks idk man. On the one hand it ties up the series or at least furthers it somehow. On the other hand the anime adaptations have not been the beeeest? I'm just stoked for SHOKUGEKI 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO LET'S GO and the continuing Re zero.

You're helpful. Honestly this is a curious summer season. For anyone not into hot anime boys (There's a lot of those) this season has a 50/50 chance of flopping imo.

if you have access to pirating sites you have access to crunchyroll. Only the newest content and their manga is behind a paywall and even then the new episodes come out from that paywall when the episode after comes out. I'll concede that the selection is not perfect but it's legal and predominantly free. As for the manga, that kinda sucks. I know that a manga getting translated into even english isn't 100%, other languages even less. That said, it is their IP, they are not making a profit from it. It's well within their rights to crack down on its distribution. Maybe they will figure out from the nmbers that there is an audience to capitalise on, who knows?

Thus why they're milking their current IPs for every single bit of money they can. They make companies like Ubisoft and EA tolerable. Aight, so this is a thread for a guy infamous in the RP forum for being ridiculously, wonderfully god damned detailed. He writes chunks so long and detailed that if any of you glanced into one of his RPs you'd be shocked at the size of his posts. He's also incredibly passionate and vocal about said passion. Just look at his status feed. Have a happy birthday Stratos. Keep writing, I think you've got the talent and, I sincerely hope, the drive to get somewhere with it. Whether you make a profit from it or not, more writing is nice. Have a book cake.

I assumed you didn't need my input to have watched one of the two or at least have them on a to do list. And the first 18 episodes weren't that great either to be frank. Once the bro guy died the shock factor wore off so completely it was shocking in and of itself. The world was generic "fantasy" with nothing to particularly distinguish it. For character development, I'll elaborate. It was shallow for everyone except Tatsumi and Esdeath. Tatsumi however was quite literally the most standard protagonist on the earth, taking away from his development in turn. Besides, my point was that even bad shounens, and that's subjective in and of itself, with their flaws are still better than AGK. Kinda missed the point of my recommendation there bud. On the other hand, if you want another recommendation, Try D.Gray man, Shokugeki no souma, or JoJos. That's better things to watch even limited to just the shounen genre.

Every death felt like it was just trying to get a rise out of you, not that it was a death for plot purposes. You cold have had the same plot with two main characters on either side. I've forgotten half the characters, a lot of which were cookie-cutter examples of so, so many archetypes. The ending was just rushed to all hell and back too. Animation was aight, soundtrack served it's purpose though nothing stood out too much. The execution of character development felt like it was trying to be way too edgy, with death on everyone's minds. The lacklustre comedy didn't do much to help that. My opinion is that you're better off slogging through Naruto or Fairy Tail. Even with the negative aspects of those series, like length, they still stand heads and shoulders above AGK
