  2. Ngl, it didn't even occur to me that conk evolves by trade. Also, wassup with starting movesets? Egg moves or naw?
  3. Lab- Katie As Katie was led into the lab, she couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement, her heart pounding a fraction faster with each step, her rising enthusiasm showing on her face. Her surroundings were more like a sci--f setting than anything she had ever seen and she was about to start her own story. That was something wonderful. Katie approached her own pokeball, the label making it clear it was hers. Katie had barely heard professor Juniper as her focus was entirely on her new partner. There was no hesitation as Katie picked up the ball and let her partner loose. What Katie had not expected was to have her ribs crushed in a jumping hug from the small, excited Timburr. The Timburr knew. The Timburr had waited so, so patiently. This person here, this wonderful person, was the one who was going to take him away from this horrible, horrible lab. He wanted to explore! He wanted to run, jump, fight, fly and swim around the world! This lab was sooooo cramped it drove him crazy. Which is why he loved anyone who could take him away. "Erk-owowowowOW!" Katie verbalised her pain as she struggled to extricate herself from the fighting types grip. If he was this strong already, she would have to break this possible habit before he really could crush Katie in his grip. "It's nice to see you're enthusiastic but LET GO!" Timburr dropped to the floor immediately. He would NOT anger his saviour. Not this time! This time he would be an angel, even if past experiences told him he had a talent for annoying the other pokemon. Good as gold, that was his new creed! "Well, I think I have a name for you already Roy." Katie half-murmured. Roy nodded quickly, happy with whatever name his trainer gave him. It didn't even occur to Katie to ask if that was ok. It just seemed ideal to her. Reminiscent of someone else she had read about. All he needed was a cowboy hat and superpowers. "Oh, right. I'm Katie. I guess you figured out that I'm your trainer, only Arceus knows how... Anyway. Nice to meet you." She squatted to look at Roy on his level. No point antagonising him. Especially when he seemed so happy to meet her already. Heaven has no rage....
  4. You x being overwhelmed by numbers
  5. I can drink legally tyvm. So long as it's in my own home.
  6. 7/10, I like what I can see but it'd look so much better bigger
  7. Yeah, sorry. Things dragged at first because I was in a slump and now Huk's busy with his own stuff so now I'm waiting on him. I'm sure we could wrap it up quick though.
  8. the fuck? We were paired? I don't remember ever seeing my name in a pair
  9. I'll try. It's just hard to work when I daren't step on the worlds toes. I mean, just the assumption that Times was important is incorrect, but only because of info I had no way of knowing or really considering. Thus it's hard to know what my character should really know and thus how he should conduct himself as he goes about what he needs to do.
  10. Strat is essentially right. Pyon, completely off. It's just my way of putting him in place for you to toy with. If you didn't, I'd wait for the others to finish with their stuff and use Arcene's place wandering throughout the castle to start something new. Laying the groundwork for an event to come rather than insert myself and upset the scene itself right now. Plus, Times is the most notrious guard of Castle dour to me and presumably a lot of other characters. It only makes sense he'd keep an eye out for his binary opposite lest he interfere.
  11. Route 1- the bystanders "You know, I gotta wonder what's so exciting about a group of wild animals attacking you." Katie noted idly. At the start of their journey Katie honestly wasn't interested in the scenery. Nature was not her wheelhouse, so to speak. Besides, there were still six of them, plus Bianca the hyper-assistant. It didn't feel like an adventure, it felt like... a field trip. Which to be fair was still interesting. Just... not what she was expecting.
  12. Arcene midday Day 1, YoR Arcene let out a feline yawn as he followed his newest friend. He had awoken not even 20 minutes ago and through sheer luck had spotted the elemental that his latest client wanted annoyed. Walking ahead was a water elemental that had quite literally rained on his clients parade, a fire elemental who had been celebrating his birthday. It was common for Arcene to be pulled into these petty conflicts and Arcene was fine with that. It was quickly established when they were trapped in this dreadfully dark place that he wouldn't be up to much. It's hard to mess with immortals who got wise to every trick in the book a decade before you were born. It's harder to get away alive. As he walked, constantly switching his appearance with the bystanders around, he kept an eye out for Times, the single largest pain in Arcene's arse within this castle. Sure, he was only following the elemental and sure, he was impossible to recognise but even so. Paranoia was healthy and right now he didn't know how long he'd be following this water elemental. For now he had to nail down the elementals routine, figure out when he could cause mischief, make his day just a little worse. So he took some quick mental notes with every turn, trying to figure out where he was headed.
  13. Pictures. They all look good. I would put one up. If I had any recent ones not posted already.
  14. Heights. Half the members of the Reborn community. The future.
  15. 8:55 Route 1 entrance "No introduction? Well that's lacklustre. No dramatic backstory, hidden agenda? No grand gestures that satisfy an overinflated ego I could prick?" Katie complained, disappointed by Alecks. "I'll tell you what" Katie said as she stepped over, putting her arm over Aleck's shoulder, waving her arm at something in the far distance, the image she was building for the two. "I'll make something up for you. You are now the- Hang on." Katie paused as she saw the other two arrivals, waving with her free arm. "At least I wasn't the only one running late!" Katie wanted to get to the newcomers but she had already started on Alecks backstory. "Ok, so, you're the long lost heir to an ancient Unovan court of nobles. Prince of Unova, fighting to reclaim the fortunes your father lost due to his horrific gambling habit. Sound good?" It almost sounded as though Katie was giving him a choice. "Of course it does. Nice to meet you Prince." Katie smiled at Alecks, bright green eyes glittering as she watched for his reaction. Her eyes periodically flicked towards the others as she spoke, still waiting on some sort of intro from the last boyscout and interested in the other two arrivals.
  16. Ok, I'm not playing destiny. For some reason it can't stay connected to PSN for longer than 20 minutes and it kicks me everytime I D/C. I'm not fucking around for this

  18. I assume you saying "A lot of the point is that" is unfinished for X reason and that you were going to discuss independence. I'l get around to trying to jam Arcene into a scene. I think I know just who I can annoy with him too.
  19. 8:53am, Route 1 entrance "Nice to meet you Boyscout. I'm Katie Narcis." Katie introduced herself to the trio of boys, responding to Jason's smile with a faint copy. "If you hadn't dropped the joke I woulda turned around and left. I don't care much for trees." Katie arched a pale blonde eyebrow at the other two as she looked past Jason. They all looked normal enough. Hopefully that wasn't the case. "Are you two going to give me an intro or am I going to have to keep talking to your troop leader?"
  20. 8:52, Route 1 entrance Katie spouted several venomous curses. She had forgotten she had set her watch later to get her moving faster. Whilst it had worked, she could have done without the sprinting. Katie leant over and rested her hands on her knees as she caught her breath. She drew the blonde hair that clung to her face away with a quick, practised motion as she looked at the other three. She wished she had tied her hair in aponytail. It would have made the run a lot less annoying. "So, you guys ARE the other people, right?" She asked, waving her hand at them for a second, assuming they'd know what she was talking about.
  21. Oooook, I'm kinda lost here. There is a shit ton going on right now and I'm not sure where to put Arcene, seeing as people are either already interacting or in their own little thing with NPCs, which is especially confusing because I thought our characters were meant to be independent of any of the big players which I think Pyon's character isn't, or Strat's(? I haven't had much time to digest every text wall), not sure if I should intrude on that. I could simply write another post, this time about his day to day life and then maneuver him into the castle for the sign? Or have him make some mischief and get him in trouble with the guards.
  22. 8:20am Katie Narcis Holy crap Katie was not happy to be up so early. For the sake of sleep she had to seriously question whether or not she wanted to go on a journey. Sure, she might look like an asshole and probably aggravate Juniper, or simply give a back up shmuck a happy surprise, but was there really anything legally binding? It occurred to Katie that amidst the paperwork she had to fill out there may indeed have been some sort of binding contract so she dragged herself out of bed with a momentous struggle. She then followed her old school routine, the specific series of actions designed to save time and get her to school within the short space of 15 minutes. Eat, shower, brush her teeth, hurriedly comb her hair and leave. There was one catch. "Katie?" Mom asked. Right. Goodbyes. "I'm off to start my journey Mom byeeeee~" She tried, hurriedly giving her mother a peck on the cheek before leaving. Mom had other ideas. She wrapped her daughter up in a warm hug, stroking her wet hair in a gesture meant to be affectionate as well as straighten out Katie's hair, still damp from the shower. Katie's father came out of the living room, taking his own turn to hug his daughter before she left. Katie, for her art, hugged back just as tightly. She knew they were probably worried, it wouldn't hurt to give them a proper goodbye. "Come back with a lot more friends Honey" Dad said. Mom didn't say anything. Knowing her, she probably didn't want to for fear of crying. Katie nodded, scooped up her bag, looked back, then left the house. As she walked, Katie hunted around in her bag for her X-Transceiver. She tended to neglect it and she couldn't remember the last time she really used it. Katie preferred talking face to face. It was useful for getting messages. Like the one from Juniper that was vying for attention on the screen. Katie had checked it the night before but it was probably a good idea to check where she was going anyway. Quote 9:00am. Her watch said it was 9:05. Time to run. 8:52am, Entrance to Route 1 "Here, here, I'm here!" yelled Katie, exhausted from her sprint. They couldn't say she hadn't tried. The exhausted young woman blinked at the other assembled teens. "You're all late too?" She asked, checking her watch. It said 9:15. Bag: 3x Potions 1x Pokedoll
