    Maybe you just have to accept that it'll be a bit awkward getting into it. A small post to get back into it isn't too bad, you can make up for it with better posts later.

    The same thing could be said for Rakudai. Whilst it's better imo than the standard harem it's still borrowing heavily from other shows by leaning more on the romance genre. Hell, the main Tsundere girls of the shows both have pink hair, both are introduced whilst undressing, both challenge the MC to a duel because they think "He should pay for his life for seeing a maiden undressing" and also have a fire motif. They both prove that they're using from a lot of cookie cutter moulds in a lot of ways.

    Nikki's mind was one part confused as the SWAT team completely over-reacted to her surrender, two parts resigned as the man who spoke before was proved right in his assessment and one final part of irritation. The SWAT teams behaviour, whilst somewhat understandable, was utterly brutish. If they actually had a clue about the situation at hand they could have acted somewhat respectably. Maybe the police needed to invest more in surveillance... Still, Nikki complied with the bothersome orders, lying on the cold, filthy floor with no small amount of disgust. Oh but someone was going to have their eardrums broken for this.

    "Why the fuck are we threats? We're citizens who defended ourselves is all." Nikki grumbled, a mixture of outrage and petulance mixing into her voice. Dad had always taught her to respect the local authorities whilst growing up so, as indignant as she felt, she still didn't dare fight with the police. She returned Aethor to his pokeball to get his rest. Fighting a Camerupt and the big crystal steam machine had definitely earned him a reward. With a sigh, Nikki stood up, walked off the boat to the dock to face the cops, hands in the air to placate them.

    I'm not gonna lie, I feel like I keep missing something with Noragami. Don't get me wrong, I can see exactly why people like it, I can recognise the high quality of the show in general but, well, it just doesn't work with me. In the first season I couldn't really connect to the characters and was always waiting for the moment when I did, only for it to never come. The end of S1 was nice but still, nothing fantastic. The comedy throughout kinda fell flat with me seeing as most of it was just outrage at Yatos quirky spending habits and general antics. Just kinda meh.

    IDK, it's an interesting series. On the one hand, so much of it feels like an amateur project. It doesn't have the feel of a standard produced piece of media. That said, it isn't bad by any means. It's enjoyable and the vibrant creativity in a lot of the show, specifically the weapons and how easily it says Fuck physics, overshadows things like the meh voice acting, dialogue and P standard concept used as a base for the world, which is really just a mish mash of generic bleh mashed into one show. Honestly, if it wasn't for the supremely well choreographed action, it wouldn't be anywhere near as notorious as it has become. You know this is the second show I've had an IRL acquaintance mention on their own?

    You should have been more careful, that two cents just got stolen by a Scrooge. It's rather ridiculous, to say the least, that someone attempted this. So much so that anyone with half a brain knows that any slightly legitimate news source would have been nailed to the ground beneath a rocket and left to incinerate if they posted something so flammable on the internet. Any decent journalist knows they're always playing to an audience, one way or another. To throw such flaming shit at them in quite so obvious a manner makes absolutely no sense just to scrounge some attention. Bad publicity is good publicity does not apply to the news themselves, otherwise everyone really will fuck off and leave them alone.
