  1. There's no real outline. Push your character to interact with something, anything. If you're hosting, make sure there's plenty for the PCs to notice and interact with. Turn our RPs into Chekovs armouries.
  2. Claude & Wolt A hand went to his heart, clenched as though pained by the thought of approaching someone. Claude made a face as if he was about to feint. "Alas, I am but a humble coordinator! Such things are beyond my ken!" It took a lot of effort not to smile and break the facade.
  3. Taimadou was ehhhhhh for me. Not my shtick. Dunno If I'll keep it going.
  4. Claude & Wolt "I'm bad with directions. I bet any one of the lovely ladies would help you out if you asked" Claude gave a surreptitious wink, as though sharing a secret with a close friend. Claude knew full well where the dorms were but he had a gut feeling that he'd be quite bored whilst waiting for the opening ceremony. He wasn't going to pass up the chance to get into trouble. Or get someone else into trouble. Either worked. Claude really doubted anything bad would happen... right?
  5. Claude and Wolt "Well I assumed you had a purpose for coming here" Claude replied innocently, an angelic expression on his face. "Maybe you had a friend here, I don't know. Perhaps the master had discerned a shortcut to get to our destination?" A grin spread across Claudes face now as he teased his new room-mate. This year was going to be fun.
  6. Wolt & Claude As the boys arrived at the building they thought was the boys dorm, Claude looked flatly at his new room-mate. "Yes, this is absolutely the boys dorm." Claude pointed at the excited redhead girl. "oh master of orienteering, please, lead onwards.
  7. This was a game of many firsts. First champ, first hour long game, first time with that many kills. First time buying out that many items. Wus gud.
  8. They might get up to some coordinator shenanigans but that's about it.
  9. Claude, Wolt, Helene & Doux "Sure, let's go see the new rooms. Just gimme a sec." Claude replied to Wolts invitation. The other boys tone said he was friendly enough but his expression not so much. It kinda made for a creepy contrast. Still, Claude wanted t get on his good side. If things went down the wrong street things could become strained. Claude turned to scan the crows, searching for his partner. He spotted the Cottonee on the head of yet another girl, this one shorter. Claude briefly whistled a single short, clear note and Doux propelled himself over to Claude. Claude held Doux against his chest as he waved to the girl. "Sorry, I haven't broken him of the habit of resting on other people yet!" Claude then turned to Wolt. "Are we off then?"
  10. Doux, Adeline and Helena Quickly soothed by the words of the girl who tripped, Doux settled down easily. He as about to settle on his roosts heaad once more when she seemed to stroll off elsewhere. Deciding he ought to stay at least near his master, Doux instead chose the head of Helene to perch upon comfortably. Claude & Wolt Claude grinned as he laid eyes on his new room-mate. A distinctive person, certainly but Claude didn't quite peg him as a coordinator. Maybe a breeder? With a flourish and a charming smile, Claude introduced himself. "Well bonjour! My name is Claude, the Coordinator Extraordinaire of Lumiose city and soon to be top coordinator of the Ymora Academy! You're my new room-mate, right? Number twenty nine?"
  11. I just think that repetition of some variant of their name would drag on a lot more. Plus it feels just a little easy. Murmurs, chirps, purring, growls. There's plenty more ways to depict what a pokemon is doing with their vocal cords or, whatever they have.
  12. For the record, I'm not going to be Poketalking at all. Any of their speech will be described like actual animal cries and meaning will be conveyed through body language. Poketalk is not my thing.
  13. CL didn't remind of either of those. it gave me the strongest vibes of Eureka 7 I've seen in a while. And that is not a bad thing at all. It was just nice to watch. There wasn't any exposition, like at all unless you count the vague af opening narration. The show just let the world speak for itself, which was really nice. Not Amazing, but nice. Also Kekkai Sensen, after stalling a season, finally released it's finale and to be honest, I'm glad they paused to finish it properly because that was a really, really good ending to watch. In hindsight it satisfies next to no questions about the world but, to be honest I don't care about the world. I'm just happy the story had a well done resolution.
  14. Oh and, Exlink, you still haven't listed Inigos ability
  15. It's just that if you have a LOT of people crowded in one place, all focusing on one small, specific event like this, it can get a little confusing and jumbled. That's all.
  16. That's exactly what happened when Murdoc opened the initiative thread. #BlameMurdoc
  17. More and more people gravitating around Adelines fall... I'm just going to have Claude continue watching from afar.
  18. Doux, Emberly & Adeline The Cottonee perched comfortably upon Emberlys head made a soft series of cooing sounds, content to be petted. Doux knew that the tone of voice could be considered condescending to some more arrogant pokemon but Doux was happy to be babied a little. Unfortunately when another student began to approach and tripped over her own shoelaces Doux was startled, emitting a sparkling gust in fright and whispering away from the girl who tripped. Only Doux's curiosity kept him from seeking out Claude.
  19. Nikki sat down on the deck with a slight thump, exhaling a sigh of relief. "Holy fuck above, that was insane." She looked around, scanning the field. This boat had well and truly been battered and Nikki had to wonder just how they hadn't all drowned in the frozen water after breaking the whole vessel. "Sound off people, who's alive?"
  20. Desks As the students approached the registration desks they were each greeted with a smile from the staff. They accepted the ID and quickly put the students into the magical system of filing. Then with another smile they were dismissed. "Thank you for attending, we hope you enjoy your time here." Oswald Oswald shrugged as the young girl came to collect her Pancham, explaining why the little pokemon had come along. No point wasting words, risking starting a conversation. That was the last thing he wanted and he suspected the young girl knew that. Fine by him, he liked it when people let him be. Maybe next time he wouldn't even object if the Pancham sought Geodude out again. The aforementioned pokemon continued to watch the Pancham for a while before resuming his sweeping, watching the crowd. He didn't bother scowling like his owner now though. Claude The Extraordinaire was sat waiting, now impatiently, in the middle of a line that was in contrast very ordinary. Too ordinary. Claudes eyes scanned the students, trying to see anyone that stood out. He was kind of hoping the coordinators would stand out. Unfortunately the only one to stand out was a ridiculously tall girl, who stood taller than the vast majority of the crowd. Evidently, this same girl had caught Doux's eye as a wonderful roost and Claudes beloved flufflball very blatantly settled its soft weight onto the girls head. One day that cottonees impression of a hat is going to get him into trouble Claude thought, smiling slightly from afar. For now he'd let Doux be, knowing where his pokemon was was all he needed.
