You must be new here...
-
I'm more insulted that she makes you pay money for a fucking Ducklett than the fact that she took Magikarp out the game.
-
I don't see the problem with that...
-
Or is this a new person that I'm simply not aware of?
-
Nope, we're still @ 70
-
Cain is Aya's younger brother though...
-
Fern has to be at least 18 since he's able to do the gym challenge, ditto for Victoria Heather's 10 if I recall correctly. Terra's age is appropriate

That field was obviously made with Ciel in mind; the Ringmaster just threw in a little bit of extra shit for Samson just so he wouldn't start crying. As to the actual thread, the only gyms I beat on my first try are KiKi's and Serra's. Fairy types completely destroy any challenge/mystic that KiKi's gym had initially, especially if they have some way to lower her Pokemon's attack and hit back too; Granbull can solo this gym by itself up until you get to that Lucario (don't use Fake Out on it btw, almost cost me the W). Drought Ninetails has always been the hard counter to Serra's gym; that's just status quo.

Lost all respect for him as a battler after that shit. Bad enough he can't ever beat us, and that he's a douche, but really though?

I don't think there's a time where this is more apparent than when you first leave the Underground Railnet and step into Chrysolia Forest. Maybe the Apophyll Beach theme, but the opening 25 seconds feel somewhat sobering after KiKi get Garchomp'd

Does anyone actually EV train their team?
mashonem replied to CoolTrainerGary's topic in Reborn City
I only EV train when I'm waiting for new episodes, but it can be pretty arduous, especially for Special Defense. Speed, Defense, Attack, and (to a lesser extent) Special Attack are fairly easy enough thanks to Woobat, Bouffalant, Macargo, and the Arceus Citadel (however the hell you spell that shit); but it's not something I can do all in one sitting. To date, I've only completely trained two Pokemon (Gardevoir and Flygon), and I'm in the middle of training my Metagross. I'd like to breed and re-train the rest of my team members, but my bench is way too deep to do that without any items to help out, and EV reducing berries are expensive as fuck; so I just EV train the new Pokemon that I get and the rest of the team will just have to deal. -
I'm pretty sure he was, but the potential for backstory is there. There's even a PULSE machine in his cave on the wall opposite of him that forces more speculation
-
Yes, but we as the MC haven't seen them interact with one another

Honest question: Do people really think that Heather's an E4 member, or even a trainer for that matter? I mean, we've never seen her battle before, we've just seen her use her Salamence to get around; and having command of a Salamence at her age is definitely something strange, but are we really that sure that she's even a trainer? One of the theories I read here is that the Salamence belonged to her mother, and the only reason the Salamence follows her orders is out of respect for the mother's memory. Until we actually see her do something other than command Salamence to fly somewhere, I'm keeping my reservations. We know Laura's an E4 member (Charlotte said so), and we can figure that El is an E4 member as well because Cain mentioned him being 'one of the elite' in Radomus' gym after the battle with him. Blake being an E4 member too would make sense due to Cal's anger at him "always being better", and Cal was the previous Fire type gym leader before stepping down and Charlotte taking over. At one point I wanted to say that Saphira was an E4 member too, I figured that she was the strongest member of the family due to her being the oldest (showing much more badassery than Laura did played a key part in this line of thinking too; seriously, her Liligant didn't do shit to keep her from getting kidnapped), but then she mentioned that her gym was in Calcenon/ Labradora, and unless E4 members get gyms too, I don't think that's the case.

*Patiently awaits for when we see Titania and Fern interact* Good God, Fern's gonna catch a serious fade. Even when he inevitably tries to brush it off like it ain't nothing, we'll all know that his soul's burning like ether. I wouldn't even care if Titania ends up being Meteor aligned, this would totally make up for it.
-
Eh, not feeling that. Granbull with Charm shits on most of KiKi's Pokemon (other than the special Lucario), are you suggest we move Snubble back a few Eps just because of that? Hell, Drought Ninetails has been the official counter to Serra's team since it was introduced, yet it still hasn't been removed. Simply being a counter to a gym leader isn't reason enough to be pushed back.

Eh, when I got to the point that I could get it, I already had a Gardevoir who does everything that Gengar can do without having to breed for moves or drop a Link Stone on it. I mean, Gengar's faster and hits a little harder, but Gardevoir's fast enough after being EV trained, and can actually take some special hits as well. If you're willing to breed moves on it, Gengar can be more useful; but if you don't want to breed or use a Link Stone, just use Gardevoir

You know Fern was the guy that got bullied a lot when he was younger (Probably by Titania, she'd get so many cool points from me if she did), and he just acts like a Swag Jockey now to overcompensate for his fragile ego. Hell, just look how he dresses; his attire isn't that much different from Bennett's, but Bennett's far more soft spoken that Fern is. This is how I see it: Fern is basically Bennett, but Fern read this book and now tries to imitate it every chance he gets in order to convince everyone else (but most importantly himself) that he's cooler than he really is. Unfortunately, he oversells it, and only comes off as a giant douche in the process.

Best part is that she wouldn't just beat him silently like the protag would, she would tear him down in the process... God I hope this happens
-
Isn't the Lapis Abandoned Gym Shelly's though? I mean it's technically abandoned because she's up in Calcenon with Saphira n' them... unless there was a Bus Crash and she got GG'd behind the scenes

LOL @ the people in here thinking that computer won't break through confusion every time; that's just adorable

Thank you. Especially since that revelation wasn't nearly as common knowledge until a few days ago

Oh come on, we all know Ciel's giving up that sweet sweet b00tyliciousness to the Queen o B00ty (I mean, can you blame her?), she's just keepin' it on the DL to maintain that purity facade
