  1. The main thing to keep in mind is that when Shade's gym was first released, KiKi taking that massive L via Garchomp was still a prediction just like how something happening to Amaria and Lin going all Majin Vegeta are now. As it stands now, I'm leaning towards Shade's future telling abilities being pretty accurate. That said, there wasn't anything we could do to save KiKi, we simply weren't strong enough at the time. With the level cap at 70, we're pretty close to the level Amaria's Lapras was at when it was seen; we might be able to at least prevent Amaria from taking an L via Titania... or maybe the future is set in stone and Amaria's screwed regardless. Also, Titania's Pokemon might be pushing into the 80s; and I wouldn't put it past Ame to give Gym leaders the ability to get stronger either... Regardless, it doesn't look good for Amaria (or Titania with her judgement issues).
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a good 3 episodes spent getting 1 HM?
  3. Believe it or not, Kricketune completely destroyed Florina's team. After 2 Fury Cutters, it OHKOs everything. It's not all that useful afterwards, but it was for this battle though.
  4. I'm not big on the zombie shinies, but implementing them wouldn't make me stop playing the game or anything. I like Silver Kabutops, but I like both Red Kabuto and Kabutops
  5. I used a Steadfast Gallade just for that battle. Bred it, found the Shiny Stone in the wasteland, used two Intimidaters to lower Cinccino's attack to -6, set up 3 Sword Dances, and took it from there. I out-sped his entire team after 2 boosts, and nothing is gonna survive a +6 Close Combat (Clefable will survive a +6 Psycho Cut lolwut). You might be able to use Steadfast Machamp, but his movepool is booty.
  6. I think Gardevoir can sit put, but I feel like Abra should be moved down a tier for the time being; at least until more episodes are released.
  7. When I said "better", I meant "Better than Aggron"
  8. Magnezone? Covers your Water and Flying weakness, excellent Special Attack, and better on the Special Defense side while still plenty bulky defensively Also Gardevoir still has Trace, but apparently there was an "ability glitch" that got patched in 10.5. Some Pokemon had abilities that they shouldn't have had, and the patch 'corrected' that. I guess this means that your particular Gardevoir was always meant to have Telepathy. From what I read, it sucked for *a lot* of people.
  9. Yep, that's enough Reborn for today...
  10. It's something that you learn to accept/deal with. Thankfully, it doesn't occur in areas where you need to spend an extended amount of time in.
  11. I knew it was too good to be true at this point
  12. Joke's on you, I asked only smart, information question(s).
  13. Ditto (no matter how recent it is)
  14. Shit, tell that to Florina's Cradily... oh wait, you can't because Kricketune completely evaporated it after stacking Fury Cutters on the previous Pokemon. Having trouble with Shade? Good thing Herdier learns Crunch at 24 and evolves into Stoutland at 32 (God I wish I knew this before). Wigglytuff is a glorified punching bag, but Clefable isn't anything awful by any means (though it's kind of ass without TMs, now I understand why the Ame hate train is so popular...) At the moment (Training for Noel): Lvl 49 Camerupt ♀ (Cala) Lvl 48 Meowstic ♂ (Karter)* Lvl 50 Gyarados ♂ (WorthIt) Lvl 49 Typhlosion ♂ (Torra) Lvl 47 Krookodile ♂ (Quentin)* Lvl 47 Magneton (Diode)* In the cut Lvl 40 Granbull ♀ (Pharrell) Lvl 43 Ninetales ♀ (Rika) Lvl 42 Drapion ♀ (Torn) Lvl 38 Golbat ♂ (Zuno) Lvl 45 Stoutland ♂ (Swift) Lvl 20 Gallade ♂ (Haven't nicknamed yet) Lvl 1 Ralts ♂ (Haven't nicknamed either, but I can't pass up on a Modest Gardevoir in a play though) Riding the bench for the rest of ever, but were useful at one point Lvl 35 Kricketune ♀ (KC) Lvl 31 Raticate ♂ (Fodder) Lvl 29 Bibarrel ♀ (Clause) Special shoutout to Clause (fuck you Julia), KC (Fuck you Florina), Fodder (Fuck you Shade), Pharrell (Fuck you KiKi), Rika (Fuck you Serra), and in the near future my unnamed Gallade (fuck you Noel). These Pokemon have (or will in Gallade's case) been vital in beating the respective gym leaders; I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. E: Wow, I tried way too hard on this post lol
  15. Me during spring break last year Me a few weeks ago
  16. Did you get the Emolga south of the Jasper Ward PKMN Center? I'm pretty sure it's a hard counter to that Chatot (It gives me problems every time I see it)
  17. Raticate, but I had to abuse the Sucker Punch glitch in 10.5 to do it though I regret nothing
  18. Did you get that Snubbull from the girl in the Lapis Ward? If you did, make sure it has Intimidate, that initial attack drop is very helpful. On top of that (if you're willing to do the grinding necessary to make it usable, lvl 30 should be fine), Granbull also learns Charm (lowers attack 2 stages), and a -3 Medicham isn't going to be hurting much without hax crits; let alone if you drop it to -6 like I did. Ditto for the Scrafty. The only one that gave me trouble was the Lucario since it relied on Special Attacks, but you said you're able to take care of it. TL;DR: Get a Snubbull and Charm your way to victory
  19. Yep, that's what it says here for Gen 6 and here for Gen 5 Good to know; glad I could help
  20. Hello all. I've been lurking this forum for a few months now, and I finally found the courage to make an account here. I started playing Reborn two weeks ago, and even if the game's a little rough around the edges, I absolutely love it. Now, to the actual question. Note: if you don't want to waste your time reading the rambling back-story, I put the actual question at the bottom. So, like I said, I've been playing Reborn for two weeks, but I've been following the game itself for much longer than that (shout-out to shofu btw). I knew how hard Kiki's Medicham was to defeat, so I was figuring out how I would take care of it myself before I even started playing. I came to the conclusion that I'd need a fairy type to do so. After coming down to choosing either Azurill and Snubbull, I went with Snubbull because I already have a physical water type (Gyarados), and because Granbull learns Play Rough before Azumarill (43 as opposed to 50). Not to mention the fact that Kiki's Medicham knows Thunderpunch, but that was something I forgot which thankfully turned out in my favor. So I headed over to Bulbapedia to do some more checking, and I found out that Snubbull learns Play Rough at level 37; so I figured that I would swap train Snubbull until then, then let her evolve. When I did finally get her to that point, to my surprise (and disgust), she wanted to learn Take Down instead of Play Rough; I then realized that that is what Snubbull learned up until Gen 6 when Play Rough was introduced. Dejected, I decided to just let her evolve, and grind her until level 43, however I had doubts that she would even learn Play Rough at that point since Granbull also learns Take Down at that level. Question here Can the Snubbull/Granbull line learn Play Rough at all, or is Snubbull the one that can't learn it? As of E11, Snubbull is still learning Take Down at level 37, and I don't want to keep wasting my time on training her if she isn't going to learn Play Rough. I didn't know if this belonged in the troubleshooting forum or not since this didn't seem to be an actual bug, more like a coding oversight since Snubbull learning Take Down at level 37 isn't exactly wrong, just a bit outdated. Also, for those who care, I actually ended up beating Kiki on my first try, and Granbull's Fairy Typing and Intimidate were invaluable to the cause Of course, I might have been able to pull off the sweep if I had Play Rough
