I picked up my mail on the way to class today and just took a quick glance at the paper and almost tripped because I thought it said "Congratulations! You're a dad!" Obviously confusing because there's no way I'd be a dad, but then I realized that it said something far different from that.

Ahhh..... I know that blissful feeling all too well. It's also great when you hook your mp3 player up to a game console via USB cord, and then hook that game console up to a great surround sound system. I do that, and I live alone. So, no one to complain at me as long as I don't bother the neighbors. #ILikeItLoud

Since I got a kindle last summer, I've taken to reading the free classics from the amazon kindle store. I'd never read Pride and Prejudice before, so I started that almost a year ago and just recently finished. I mentioned several times while I was reading it that the deeper I got into it, the more I hated it. But now I feel like I have to retract all of that because it ended much more nicely than it began and made its way on my favorites list. Also currently reading The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke, and I'm going to go ahead and add it to my list of favorites now because I'm really enjoying it. It's such a relief to read because it's quite different from most YA science fiction/fantasy, in my opinion.

I'm probably too late on this, but Air is made by the same company that did Clannad and Kanon, and it's pretty sad if you liked either of those. Mael has also mentioned Kyoukai no Kanata, and depending on how well you relate to the story it can be a real tearjerker. I don't usually pick things to watch based specifically on the amount of feels in them, but I have watched good shows with other intentions that had a lot of sad parts, like Steins;Gate. Once you get past episode 12 it's pretty sad (though it has a happy ending). http://myanimelist.net/animelist/kazesawa92 Having a profile on this thing has been really handy to give recommendations for other people.
