  1. For most of them, mining is the only way to get them. There's also a post-Serra event in the museum, the reward of which is either an Plume or Cover Fossil; there's also the order of the Helix, where, after 2 fetch-quests, you can trade a Helix Fossil for one of the gen 6 Fossils. I don't remember all the details now, try the search feature for further info on those events.
  2. To copy paste from that topic "Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball/Flash Cannon, Vacuum Wave". EVs should be the obvious Max Sp.Atk and Speed. Though I forgot Riolu doesn't learn Flash Cannon for some reason, but that's the only part of that you can't get (Ghost provides better coverage anyways).
  3. You've already made a topic about this though...
  4. This section has a pinned EV Training Guide which lists all the % of finding whatever wherever. Said guide has no mention of Kriketune being in either North/South Aventurine Forest or Route 1.
  5. Well, try the search feature then? Multiple posts about monotypes exist, some of them debating the viability of some runs (I think I heard psychic is easy?). Here's your Shieldon all the same, I guess you can PM me if you change your mind?
  6. Steel's really hard to start out with, you'd have to face Florinia with a Burmy, Prinplup and Onix, definitely coulduse some extra help. For other possible "starters", Mawile's mediocre for when you get it, but it oughta be good for early-game. Aron and Honedge are also options.
  7. Shieldon has the offensive presence of a sheet of paper, so good luck doing anything, but sure. Nature/Ability?
  8. No prob, and no prob, you are new and all. Speaking of, welcome! Feel free to introduce yourself in the Grand Hall. And take a look at the Community Rules in case you haven't already, they're on the left.
  9. In the future, please do read the descriptions of individual sections, this kinda stuff is supposed to go in the Team Showcase section. Anyways, IMO, there's multiple sets Lucario can run because it's got quite a few options. You can make it a special set with Agility and/or Nasty Plot, physical set with Agility and/or SD, and just 4 attacks. Barring Radomus, every single gym leader boasts rather fast teams, certainly faster than Lucario's base 90, so Agility or a priority move are a must. Lucario can every unboosted foe after a single Agility and it gets 3 very good priority moves, Vacuum Wave and Bullet Punch as STABs and E-Speed. SD/Nasty Plot + 3 attacks is the best way to go IMO. While 110/115 base is very good, it's not quite sweeping levels. It honestly depends on what your team needs, but I'd recommend Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball/Flash Cannon, Vacuum Wave or SD, High Jump Kick, Crunch, Bullet Punch/Extreme Speed. Ghost+Fighting is better coverage than Fighting+Steel and hits everything neutrally, the loss of STAB is a good trade-off for better coverage and you can just keep boosting if need be. Fighting+Dark is only resisted by Fairies which are hit SE by Bullet Punch, but E-Speed is overall stronger, with the things that resist it much more often than not being slower than Lucario and being weak to one of your other moves, so the choice of the priority move there is up to you.
  10. In-game, highly unlikely, considering it's almost an unwritten rule in Pokemon games for the player character to have the personality of a cardboard cut-out. For a fan fiction, depends on what the author wants to do I guess.

You're supposed to do what everyone else has as well: be patient. Things that can help catch it are a Ghost type, something to para it, something with False Swipe and Nest Balls. And patience.
  12. Poison is by far the easiest of those 3. I don't think Fighting would do too badly, but I have no idea how it would fare against Ciel, very badly is what I'm guessing. Ground limits you to using a Turtwig, Onix and Wormadam against Florinia. You could also do a sort-of Monorun by using only things of a certain type and whatever starter of some other type.
  13. Breeding it in pre-E13 when Gen 5 mechanics were a thing. Check out the pinned guide in this section, it'll explain any questions you could have about that stuff, including specific chains such as this one and a DL link. If you need anything explained more than the guide does, feel free to PM me
  14. You can get Nasty Plot from the Move Relearners. I also think you should go for Energy Ball now, god knows when/if we'll get Solar Beam, it's been 14 episodes and we have what, 30 TMs?
  15. Preeetty good. Just to add, Ninetales gets Energy Ball from pre-E13 and I'd also recommend either Nasty Plot (definitely get a Heat Rock as well then) or HP Rock, maybe even go with both and ditch Extrasensory. I'd say you don't need Will-o and Confuse Ray.
  16. It's actually 700/65536 which is 1.07%. 3% would be a bit too much.
  17. We don't have access to Echoed Voice either, but both can be easily bred if you go back to E12. Either way, I'd say don't use Snow Warning, it's a completely useless ability if you don't use Blizzard.
  18. I'd say go get Rock Polish. The only things preventing Aurorus from sweeping are it's defenses and Speed, RP lets you patch the latter issue while mitigating the former since you wouldn't be getting hit nearly as much. Set up an RP on something that can't hit you super-effectively (in which case Aurorus bulk isn't even that bad, 123-72-92 is pretty good actually) and spam Echoed Voice. Should work so long as the foe has no SE hits for you. Rock Polish mean that you have to ditch Discharge, but you already said you were considering T-Wave and a resisted second EV is as strong as a neutral Discharge is anyways. I'd also say get HP Rock over Ancient Power, you'd have way more uses, which should be far more useful than an effect with a 10% chance.
  19. I'd honestly say skip Lanturn, it's really not that good at all. If you really want to use it though, Discharge, Scald(pre-E13 breeding), Ice Beam(pre-E13 breeding) and Signal Beam works I guess? It really doesn't get anything good. Arcanine is probably best with Flare Blitz, Outrage, Close Combat, Agility; Gardevoir, Calm Mind, Moonblast, Psychic, Energy Ball/Thunderbolt(either via pre-E13 breeding); And since you say you'd prefer a special Lucario, Nasty Plot, Agility/Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball, since Fighting+Ghost has perfect coverage, Steel+Fighting really isn't too great and Lucario needs some speed help. I guess you could use Flash Cannon instead of Nasty Plot? It's not gonna be as efficient then though.
  20. Rhyperior is still unavailable and I don't think you'd need it. I mean, the only advantages of the Rhyperior, Excadrill and/or Golem over Archeops are more bulk (not so much specially) and STAB on EQ, but Archeops hits harder in general and it's so much faster that it doesn't have to take hits most of the time.
  21. Fair enough, although it's likely gonna be quite a while still until we get that. Maybe keep your current one in the back while having another be a physical attacker so that it can actually do something? Non-mega Charizard really isn't all that good...And no prob, good luck!
  22. Welcome to the forums! I don't think you need to worry about Electric types so much, considering how incredibly rare they have been. I mean, we had one fight Julia, one with Dr.Connal and no other Electric opponents ever since iirc, not counting the random nobodies. Still, Archeops itself does a great job against Electric types itself, since it gets EQ from pre-E13 breeding (Wooper>Corsola>Arche). It hits like a truck and outspeeds all Electric types bar Jolteon, Raichu, Zebstrika and Electrode, all of which are very frail, so you can handle those 4 with whatever. But if that's not enough, adding a 7th member and having a rotation or replacing one of your current team members is the only thing that can be done and, honestly, I'd get rid of that Sableye. It's only ever used in comp because it has healing and Pranskter status moves. In-game, we have healing items which make Recover just a waste of a slot and your team doesn't even care about getting hit that much? I mean, you have Gengar that drops dead to any attack anyways, Archeops which will likely be knocked into Defeatist anyways when it actually does encounter a foe that survives a hit, and Azumarill and Metagross are pretty bulky. You're basically using an entire team slot so that Charizard doesn't take as much damage from physical attacks, which isn't even needed, you have a ton of hard hitters, it's a waste of time to burn something if it'll drop dead in 2 hits from any member of your team anyways (baring Sableye). To sum it up: Give Archeops EQ instead of U-Turn (a worthless move outside of comp) and if you want to swap out Sableye, which I thik you should, say so and I'll think of what would go well with your team. Oh, and a comment or 2 on your other team members since you did say to rate it: -Dark Pulse does nothing for you since it has the same SE coverage Shadow Ball has, but without STAB. I'd say get rid of it, you only lose SE coverage on 2 things and neutral coverage on 1. Give it T-bolt instead (Stunfisk>Grimer>Gastly). -Charizard would be much more efficient if you made it Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, Wing Attack/Shadow Claw, Dragon Claw/Outrage. -Works, maybe consider Belly Drum instead of Superpower since you don't really need it, but it should be alright if you keep it too. -Instead of relying on a rather weak priority move, you can give Metagross Agility and it'll be outspeeding everything anyways, letting you use the 2x stronger Steel move, or any other move for that matter. -Like I said, give Archeops EQ. And instead of Crunch which has nigh useless coverage post-Radomus, give it Dragon Claw, Dragon is a rather tough type to face and you have nothing for it (for now).
  23. Considering that he said in the other topic that he didn't see this one when he made it, I guess he didn't see this one when he made it. Seriously, it's the 3rd post in that other topic you mentioned.
  24. Hippo hyyyype, time to finally make a Sandstorm team!!! Sucks about Drilbur though :/ And it took 15 episode, but I can finally get what I've wanted to since I first saw the poisoned lake: SD Tentacruel!
  25. Wait a minute, she has an Abomasnow, Pokemon with Snow Cloak have their evasion buffed on top of the SC effect and Pokemon with Bright Powder have their evasion buffed again...how are we even supposed to hit that Froslass?
