  1. You can get it Avalanche. Not like it needs it's Speed. And Rock Slide(via Heart Scale)>Hammer Arm.
  2. For Jolteon, Hidden Power (Ice/Grass would be ideal), Discharge, Shadow Ball and Thunder Wave/Yawn/Charge Beam are your best bet, really. And change it's nature to something that boosts Special Attack (other than Quiet). For Chandelure, pretty much no point in having Will-o-Wisp on it. And check out the pinned guide in this section, Chandelure can get both Energy Ball and Psychic (though I prefer HP Fighting/Ice over Psychic) if you go back to pre-E13. The guide gives the chain as well as a download link for E12. And I'd recommend keeping Heat Wave over Flamethrower for Doubles Battles (you can go Yanma hunting, wild ones can hold Wide Lens which you can use to boost HW's accuracy). And make it Timid, this thing hits hard enough already while really needing all the Speed it can get. Shadow Ball does next to nothing for your coverage on Gardevoir. Instead, Charge Beam would be great for it. Also that Scrafty set is waaaay worse than what is available. You can get it both Dragon Dance and Ice Punch via Hitmonchan>Loppuny>Scrafty. DD alone makes it way more useful (Moxie is also it's best ability then). And Sassy is not that great on it, Adamant is the way to go. Note that if you go for DD, it's better to invest EVs in HP than in Speed since you'll be outspeeding stuff anyways. Mamoswine is really easy to figure out: Ice Shard, Icicle Crash, Earthquake, Body Slam. Body Slam is definitely it's best 4th move since the high para chance works really well with IC's high flinch chance. Give it Jolly or Adamant. You can soon make Swampert much more useful, since the "TM" for Dive is immediately after Luna and Waterfall is found 2 gyms after that. After Luna, it also takes some walking, but you can get what you need to get Avalanche onto Swampert. A Heart Scale will also get it Rock Slide. Curse is also an excellent move for Swampert.
  3. Just post it here, either edit the main post (button in the bottom-right) or make another post here. And only Mods can close topics.
  4. That doesn't matter, I think. I caught Eevee as soon as I got to the Forrest (well, almost as soon as), but only got to the train post-E14.
  5. ORAS stuff. With some slight oversights. Which may or may not have been fixed for E14.5, I don't know.
  6. Hey Jan, would it be possible to make something like Reborn's Location/EV Guide(s)? It'd certainly be helpful to know exactly what's where and how likely we're to find this stuff. Maybe putting it up here or even including a simple text file with the game would be great.
  7. The main download links have been updated to link to E14.5, just grab 'em where you first got the game at.
  8. You're out of luck, no frosty knuckles for you Ice Punch is a tutor move, not an Egg move (Bulbapedia makes checking this kinda stuff really easy), so there's nothing the Day-Care can do about that. Instead Bulk Up Conk is pretty sweet, so that's a great replacement until the tutor is added (if ever). Anyways, to get both moves onto Conk, dump either Hitmonchan or Mienshao together with Conk in the Day-Care, get a female Conk Egg. Said Egg will have Mach/Drain Punch (depending on what you put in first obviously. if you went with Hitmo, it'll have M-Punch, if Mienshao, D-Punch). Then take that new Conk and whatever one you didn't use the first time (Mien or Hitmo) and you'll get a Conk with MP and DP. Too bad IP is impossible...might wanna consider Guts over Iron Fist then maybe, especially since there is a Toxic Orb lying around. If you need any part of this or any similar problem's solution explained, you can check this section's pinned guide or you can just send me a PM, I'd be happy to help
  9. Welp, I'd need some more details on your current team to work with. Y'know, moves, natures, abilities and items.
  10. Dammiiiit, great teams like this will cost me my job of managing this section! Do you want me unemployed that badly!? Jokes and my future here aside, there's really not much to say about this, nice job Some things you can consider would be: -Giving Gardevoir Charge Beam instead of Thunderbolt. It's Special bulk is decent enough that you can afford the temporary power-down, after turn 1, you'll be hitting hard than with T-bolt anyways and you may not always want to bother setting up Calm Minds, especially against physical attackers, against whom Charge Beam attacks and does the same as Calm Mind (essentially, since Special bulk wouldn't matter in that scenario). I'd also say that Trace is the more useful Ability, but maybe that's just me. -Yes, definitely get HP Ice on this sucker, it's great in general and especially useful for stuff weak to Ground, not to mention Magnezone being the ideal Dragon killer then(if said Dragons lack Fire, Fighting and Ground moves(hey, no one's perfect)). I'd also say you replace Metal Sound with Screech since the fastest attack you have is Breloom's STAB Technician-boosted Mach Punch, no point in weakening a foes defenses if you have nothing fast enough to take advantage of that. Also, since you're using Analytic, a Quiet nature would be best IMO, not like a freaking Magnezone would miss it's speed. -I absolutely hate moves like Fire Blast because of their trash accuracy. Drought Flamethrower is barely weaker while it always hits, what's the point! Not like Ninetales can take any hit too well anyways. Another thing that can definitely go is Extrasensory. I've considered it it's best 4th move for a while until I found out that HP Rock is waaaaay better for it, even giving it perfect coverage! Figures that I found out too late and got my self a Ninetales with HP Water of all things...Also, while Will-o-Wisp can definitely have it's uses, I think Nasty Plot would suit it much better. I think. I mean, I've used NP to great effect, though I haven't bothered with Will-o on it. Also, next to nothing ends up living a Drought STAB anyways, so you may want to give this sucker a Miracle Seed/Meadow Plate for the times when you can't rely on it. -Speaking of Miracle Seeds And not speaking of Vileplume, the OP mushroom that came to mind at first. This guy's perfect. Almost IMO. Shroomish doesn't get Rock Tomb sadly, so Breloom's best set can't be gotten in-game. Yet. Hopefully yet. I prefer running Jolly on my Breloom just cause it hits like a truck anyways, so that little extra Speed for extra Sleep can help out greatly. -Flygon doesn't really need it's Fighting coverage since you have both Rock and Ground type moves (unless you're preparing for the ever-so-scary Normal types~), so maybe swapping it's nature to Naughty/Lonely and getting it Boomburst from Vibrava could be nice (stack up on Normal Gems if so). -This is the only part I'm kinda iffy about with your whole team, what's your plan with this thing? I mean Politoed's level-up moves are definitely nothing to write home about. I think it's best set would be Scald, Ice Beam, Psychic and HP Grass/Electric (via Simipour>*any Water 1+Field Egg Group member*>Remoraid>Gorebyss>Poliwag). Scald is it's best STAB move IMO, not only being powerful anyways due to Drizzle, the extra burns will really come in handy for the rest of your team. You already know about Ice Beam, so I won't waste my breath(?) about that one. Psychic just because it's about the next-best thing it gets outside of the greatness that is Water+Ice coverage, coverage which is only resisted by other Water types, hence why I'd recommend HP Grass/Electric for the final moveslot. HP Electric more than Grass, Electric only wouldn't do more to Ground/Water types, but those are hit neutrally by both Scald and Ice Beam, so yeah. And yeah, give it HP EVs instead of Speed, like what's the point of Speed on this thing Well, those are my 2 cents on it, hope you find this at least somewhat useful
  11. Same as it was earlier, House in the lower-right parts of the Peridot Ward. I think it doesn't show up if you don't have some Pokesnax.
  12. You can try anything to get Echoed Voice onto it, it won't work. Even having the actual TM probably wouldn't work either. "It was missed". There are some similar cases, such as Phantump not getting Energy Ball no matter what.
  13. Terra. It may just be because I have a really good team right now, but she didn't get even a single hit in, except for when I switched in my wall just to taunt her some for sending us up a whole mountain 4 funz. Noel is also rather sucky right now. He now has only fast attackers which are doomed when outsped, sorta-bulky with no offensive presence whatsoever, and Swellow which is not so easy to outspeed but not so problematic anyways. And Samson is still Samson.
  14. It's supposed to hit since it changes typing to Fairy. Also, not only does Eevee not get Echoed Voice (not even by pre-E13 breeding, it was missed apparently), you can also use TC on wild foes to build up it's power to be whatever you wanna start of with, then hit up a Gym. With Echoed Voice, you'd always start with the weakest 40BP attack.
  15. I think so? The only issue I'm aware of with it is that Pixilated moves don't hit Ghost types.
  16. Yeah, it's to the right of the Grand Staircase. Go all the way to the right, then up, it's a really tiny alleyway.
  17. How to derail a topic: A guide by DoubleAA14. Jokes aside, ignoring the starters since they aren't all available... Normal: Lickilicky. No, really. Despite being derpy-looking as hell, it's got pretty good attack stats so it can be both physical and special easily, enormous bulk and a really diverse movepool. Right now, it already gets a lot of good moves via level-up as well as through Egg moves, but if you go back to pre-E13, there's almost no TM this sucker doesn't learn. Fire: Darmanitan/Chandelure. Simple, easy to use, fun. Only reason I'm not using one of them on my main team is their sub-par Speed because I have a Ninetales+Heliolisk combo going and because Ninetales can buff itself with Nasty Plot. Water: Reborn doesn't really have too many good Water types. I know I'm grabbing a Tentacruel the minute we get one, but until then, Gorebyss/Huntail are the best we can get, barring starters. Electric: Ninetales. With a Ninetales around, Heliolisk is the best by a mile. Sky-high attack, great speed and excellent coverage compared to all other Electric types that aren't called Eelektross. Grass: Lilligant. It gets the best boosting move in the game, the almost-strongest move of it's type, Petal Dance, an Ability to negate that move's only drawback, Own Tempo, and it even gets a move to make setting up reeeeeally easy, Sleep Powder. Ice: Mamoswine. Not too much selection here, with Ice being the second-rarest type. Mamoswine is just the best of the small bunch. Fighting: Toxicroak/Mienshao. They're pretty even, Toxicroak has a sweet Bulk Up set, 44% chance to poison with a STAB and Sucker Punch is always nice to have, while Mienshao has more immediate power and some more diversity. Poison: Crobat. Nasty Plot, high Speed, Air Slash for hax, Venoshock as one of the strongest attacks in the game if something sets Toxic Spikes. Ground: Stunfisk. Seriously, this is one bulky pancake. It's attack is acceptable and gets great moves, among which are Scald and Sludge Bomb for some extra damage via status and for weakening physical attackers. (Thanks for the AV, Aya!) It's also already at it's best, Excadrill would be the best Ground type if it could get Iron Head and a Sand setter somehow. Flying: Archeops. If this thing is healthy, the foe won't be for long. Too bad for it's ability, this thing would be OP otherwise. Staraptor is a close second here. Psychic: Reuniclus. I'd have said Alakazam, but it's as fast regularly as Reuniclus is under Trick Room. The only real difference is the bulk, where the winner is obvious. Bug: Durant with Hustle. Essentially 190 base Attack because of Hustle with Hone Claws to help with Hustle. Hustle Hustle Hustle. Rock: Crustle and Gigalith. One's a standard Shell Smasher without the sucky Rock/Water typing, the other is a physical beast, especially with Curse. Ghost: Gourgeist. Oh, what's that? We have a physical foe? Boom, dead. This is the best physical wall you can get in this game. It even solo'ed Solaris' Garchomp on Pyrous Mountain. Dragon: Considering how many we have in Reborn, your best bet would be bringing a Ditto and copying any Dragon you may come across. Or Dragalge. Dark: Bisharp. It just gets the job done. Drapion is also pretty great. Steel: Durant. Metagross works pretty well. It's nothing that special, but it works. Fairy: Sylveon. With Eevee getting Trump Card and Sylveon getting Pixilate, there's your easy-to-set-up 390 BP move.
  18. I would've said Noel, but he got nerfed. Charlotte is probably the toughest right now, with Shelly being #2 because of all the hax confusion and stat-reduction she does if you don't have Persim Berries and Guard Specs.
  19. Wow man, no need to get offended. I have used the thing before, not in doubles, but in NU, where I've found it to be just another tanky Wish passer. Sure, Healer makes it better in doubles I guess, but to be honest, I find it to be a waste of a Mega slot in NU. Anyways, back on topic, is the Lapis Flower shop the only place where Flower Charms can be bought?
  20. Mega Audino would like to have a word with you.
  21. By the way, how do you get Blue Moon Ice Cream from vending machines? Does it randomly show up as a thing you can buy like with human vendors or do you buy any random one and you might be given the Blue Moon one instead?
  22. Yeah, you can use it after getting past a certain point in the story, dunno when. It'll move away if you stand in it's path, so talk to it from the side. And Iirc, I read somewhere that it'll igonre you if you talk to it while on a bike.
  23. ? He would only have 2 set-upers with Gigalith (though it doesn't even need it) and Carracosta, 3 if he goes for Special Infernape. All of his team members barring Carracosta hit pretty hard. Carracosta is also guaranteed not to be knocked out while setting up due to Sturdy (unless something with Bullet Seed shows up) and Gigalith can laugh at 90% of all physical attackers and Curse it up. Overall, the team is pretty good (huge Ground and Ice weaknesses, but hey).
  24. Because it's not up to the people here. It's the new Essentials update that cost the AI 80 IQ points. Gotta wait for them to fix stuff.
