  1. Not in Peridot. In the alleyway in the south-western corner of the Obsidia Ward, sure. Here's some useful links. EDIT: Aaaand ninja'd. That's Derpy for ya~
  2. He hey, sounds like I'm earning my keep around here. Anyways, definitely agree with the Nature Swap, it desperately needs it (unless that was a mistake/mix-up). Good eyes Blasty, dunno if I caught that. Sadly (or maybe not since it wouldn't live too long to set up enough boosts anyways), Froslass has no access to Charge Beam. Rotom's also genderless, so even pre-E13 breeding mechanics don't net it T.bolt or Will-o. T-Wave is good for slowing down fast hard-hitters, since Rotom should be bulky enough to live and Wave, leaving it up to the rest of the team to pick up it's slack. EDIT: I just realized, I derped hard, Froslass can't get Psychic/Thunderbolt through breeding cuz Snorunt sucks, forget that bit.
  3. Oh look, an interesting topic posted at 4AM while I'm on my phone. Yaaay..... Since you said you're keeping the team, I'll skip team weaknesses qnd the like and just get to the actual members. (Hell, I fought Charlotte with a Leavanny, whatever floats your boat~) Weather Ball is a rather questionable move. Without Ninetales, you've got a pointless 50 BP Normal move. With Ninetales, you have Ninetales, why bother withother Fire attackers, especiallys since setting sunlight up boosts a move-type half your team is weak to, and that's not something you should be actively trying to do only to boost one 'mons one move (which is even negated by it's weakening Rotom's STAB. For replacements, you could go back to pre-E13 and get Psychic/Thunderbolt, there's Disable, Wake-up Slap actually isn't even that bad on it even without any investment, and there's always Hidden Power. Also, you could give it a Modest nature to help with that not-so-great Sp.Attack stat. Or Rash/Mild, since it's got bad defended to begin with. Since it's a STAB, Froslass is fine with Shadow Ball, but Hex on Rotom won't help out a lot, since we're past the part where that coverage is necessary. Electr Ball is also really bad for anything but Rotom-Casual due to low speed and no investment (but why even bother giving Rotom Speed). T-Wave can help so that one's fine, but Discharge is much better than E-Ball. There's also Charge Beam, Hidden Power (Ice would be awesome) and even Uproar or Dark Pulse could work (man, this thing really needs it's TMs/tutors). No Dragon Rush pls. The only reason Solaris' Garchomp lost against most players that beat it was accuracy. D-Claw has hardly less power with perfect accuracy. Other than that, Timid?!? Standard Herry there (though it's Speed is eh, maybe HP EVs), moving on. Good stuff, though maybe Will-o could make some room for Nasty Plot. Fighting and Poison types oughta be rare from now on, so E-sensory could be scrapped, but D.Pulse is the next best thing, so having that Psychic coverage can't hurt,.maybe use it on Cain or something, I dunno. Same as above, nobody cares about Psychic moves (that's right, I said it, Radomus (but thanks for the awesome TM, Radomus, gotta love Trick Room <3)), so Brick Break for Steel, Metal Burst for bad-but-not-doomed match-ups, or Facade or something, not a lot to go with here. Aaaand that's all you're getting outta me for now, g'night.
  4. Oh, thank you! And honestly, I'd hope so, it would be worrying if I hadn't learned a thing or two after making 600+ posts regarding teams . Though there's no denying you know what you're doing as well, gotta hand it to ya.
  5. Frisk has actually saved me from some nasty surprises before. It's...something. Aaaaaactually, Ame only included the Super-Size pumpkin. I mean, it's got the bulk to take a hit easily, so low Speed doesn't matter. And that HP is much needed, just look at how Cofagrigus is doing with godly defenses, no HP. And even as a Small-sized one, you're still stuck with just 99 Base Speed, plenty of foes would be outspeeding you. A fast Will-o is much easier to get with TR/Tailwind, Tailwind changes it's Speed form base 50-ish to base150-ish, any smaller size is just a waste of stats then and TR benefits from you having low Speed.
  6. Yeah, I meant Trevenant, all mentions of Gourgy in that post were just for comparisons. -Their abilities are both rather lack-luster. Natural Cure is neat, but Harvest + Sitrus needs you to go below 50% health, and it doesn't take a whole lot to kill a Trevenant at ~60%. -A Sitrus heals more than one turn of both Leftovers and Leech Seed, but you can get the LO+LS recovery all the time. Keep in mind that Harvest has only a 50% chance to give you your berry back. And nothing stops you from going for a Protect+P.Force to get 2 free turns of recovery. -Also, the Special Bulk difference is 7 Base, a mere 14 Sp.Def point difference at level 100. The Speed is a 2 Base difference, 4 points at level 100. -What truly makes a difference would be the extra 42 Base Defense (92 points at level 100), making a super-stally set all the more efficient IMO.
  7. Yeah, but I still prefer the Gourgeist set I roll with (L.Seed, Will-o, Protect, P.Force (I guess TR can replace Protect, but...)). It does the same damage percentage no matter how bulky the foe is, can't be scratched by physical attackers, has continuous healing without being knocked down to low health, all at the cost of only 10 less attack. And I think that, with Rest, Natural Cure would work out better.
  8. Hmmmm, that's a tough one. Trick Room setters generally need to be bulky enough to actually live to set up at least one TR no matter what, or the team's screwed. Most of it's TR using variations can function essentially like Gourgeist, but with a little more power at the cost of a lot of physical defense. It does have Harvest + Sitrus Berries which is nice, but... Trick Room, Will-o-Wisp, Horn Leech, Phantom Force/Destiny Bond, I guess. TR is obvious, Will-o lets it live longer by weakening the foes physical attacks, Horn leech is better than Wood Hammer since it heals rather than damaging you which lets you live longer to set more TRs when necessary, Phantom Force gives you an extra chance to get back your Berries via Harvest along with being a pretty good STAB attack, while Destiny Bond is an easy-to-use pretty-much-guaranteed-to-work last-resort move if TR is up.
  9. You're quite welcome! Clawitzer's just fine, especially with all the power it's packing. Sure, Speed IS an issue, but there's something I forgot to mention in my original post: Trick Room/Tailwind. With that, almost anything can outspeed almost everything. Should you still want to switch it, Scald/IceBeam/Agility/GrassKnot Empoleon is godly. It also benefits largely from TR/TW, so there's that too. -Trick Room/Tailwind also largely benefits your team since nothing is all that fast right of the bat save for Cinccino. -For TR setters, there's Porygon-Z, Exeggutor (no, really), Bronzong, Gallade, Dusclops/noire, Cofagrigus, Gothitelle, Reuniclus, Chandelure, Gourgeist (though I prefer my super-stall set for it), Chandelure and Malamar (no, really). -For Tailwind, Honchkrow and Braviary take the crown. Punishment is a pretty sweet move (yes, it's physical), though it's only real drawback is speed, so if you picked up the odd PP UP here or there... I'd still say to ditch Crunch, for it's no-longer-necessary coverage and for it being your only physical attack, making you waste EVs for it. Gets all 3 elemental fangs from Arbok/Exploud, though it takes a Heart Scale for each.
  10. ....huh. Well, this sure makes my job easy, having to "aid" a team like that. Anyways: Clawitzer's Speed is really nothing to write home about. Instead of a Timid Nature and Max Speed EVs, a Modest Nature and Max HP EVs would be much better IMO. Wish is unnecessary in-game, where we have healing items and all that. Same goes for Heal Bell, unless 2 Pokemon are status-ed at the same time, but how often does that happen? Both Light Screen and Yawn are better in my opinion (unless you've got some kinda no-item rule) (and especially if you're like me and just don't care about letting stuff die). If you go for Light Screen, you could most certainly switch some EVs to Special Attack. I'm really liking your idea of a Scope Lens on a multi-hit-move-spammer, but how about a Wide Lens (found on wild Yanma)? Your two main moves have less-than-perfect accuracy, so if you don't want to take a gamble, you could hunt for one of those. The Scope Lens is superior, but it's an option worth considering IMO. For Tyrantrum and Metagross, I'd actually recommend Wide Lens over their main items, though these guys can also use Zoom Lens since they'd mostly be going last anyways. Agility and Hammer Arm also don't mesh well, so you could go for Brick Break instead. For Sableye, Punishment, after a single Swagger, actually hits harder than even Foul Play, caps out at 200 Base Power even. I have to wonder how many hits Leavanny can take while trying to pass on those SDs to others (It's tough, I'd know *points at sig*), but if that's working out for you, it's all good. Though Leaf Blade may be superior to X-Scissor considering what's left. First, Trump Card Sylveon, then Leavanny, and an Eelektross to boot?.......I like you. Anyways, Speed EVs for Eelektross are sadly pointless, might as well go full-HP then. Might also consider a Hidden Power over Crunch, since Dark-typed attack really won't be of much use anymore.
  11. But that's not the point of this thread, of such threads. It's already been completed waaaaaay back, but that doesn't mean it has to end there. That's kind of like saying that the "Predict the next person to post" thread should've ended as soon as someone did guess right, that's just not the point of it. If someone wants to do it, they can go ahead and do it, their problem (well, and Ame's because of the game's rules). ....Butterfree
  12. Implemented, as in "working", since Essentials' changes implemented in E14 have messed some things up. Kricketune can hold 'em, and there's (or used to be) some for sale in the O.Dept Store.

    Pichu missing?

Yep, that's how I caught mine 2-ish days ago.
  14. You don't really "find" it, just have something learn it by level-up and go for that. I think the event Snubbull already has it when you get it, though others have it as well.
  15. Deal. I'm currently doing a new run, so I can pretty much go through 'em all and post there whenever I find one.
  16. But you weren't online :c Back me up on this one, witness Zephyr?
  17. 'ello there, only person who frequently posts this topic and is currently online. Whatcha up to, Zeph?
  18. What I think of Mega Ampharos' design Sounds fun What game is that?
  19. You're mixing up rain and wind. What's seen on your screenshots is wind. For Elektrike, it also has to be a thunderstorm, the screen will flash every now and then during one of those. The TVs all around let you see weather-forecasts which tell you exactly what's when during your week. Whismur requires Pokesnax and Gulpin might as well. Gulpin also has to be found during clear weather, during day-time (mess around with your computers time till it shows up if necessary).
  20. That's actually fairly standard, even in stuff like Zeta/Omicron. Hell, even Reborn has some trainers that just say "..." if talk to after you beat them. The more NPCs you have, the more of a hassle it is to give them things to say, so it's understandable imo.
  21. The very first Link Stone is gotten post-Shelly at the Grand Staircase, someone's offering it for 10k. And I'm pretty sure Magnemite in Shade's Gym have a 5% chance of carrying a Metal Coat (or at least they used to, never needed one personally). For that, I'd advise catching something with Compound Eyes, it changes the 5% chance to a 20% one. (Scatterbug/Vivillon, Butterfree, Venonat, Dustox can have Compound Eyes at that point (it should be fine, since you're not using any of them in combat).

    Houndour?

You either get it as reward for clearing the Magma Gang's questline or as an event in Magma Gang's hideout after clearing Aqua Gang's questline. By the way, the search feature is your friend.
  23. It gets hazards and it's Gyro Ball ain't shabby, but that's it. Also, OP, I don't really see the need for Ghost/Dark moves. There's Shade, there's Radomus, and that's it, don't need them for anything else, if even for those.
