  1. [steel] Gym Leader Frank: Hello there, welcome to gym #8, the emptiest of them all. No gym trainers, no puzzles, no challengers-until you showed up, that is. Ever since that new #7 showed up and started butchering challengers, I've been getting paid for twiddling my thumbs. Now, I'm a little rusty, if you'll forgive the pun, but how about you show me the skills that brought you here? Support: Bisharp, Empoleon Ace: Durant Last Pokemon: Not done yet! Trainer Loses: That's...not quite enough. Do feel free to try again though, I've got time. Trainer Wins: And that's that! Hope you had fun, because I sure did. Let's see, where are the badges... Rewards: TM91 Flash Cannon, Shield Badge
  2. Give Dusknoir Ghost STAB, Hex was great for it. Again, you have enough Fighting coverage already, ditch Brick Break. I'd still say to make Gengar Timid and give it Destiny Bond. Protect isn't something to keep. It helps in double battles, but other than that, it's nigh worthless. Curse, Double-Edge and Yawn would be good candidates for a 4th move, most notably Curse.
  3. E13 Azumarill or E12 Empoleon. Breed Golduck/Seel/Buizel/Clauncher>Azurill for Aqua Jet, then Poliwag/Poliwhirl>an Azurill with Aqua Jet for Belly Drum. Superpower, Body Slam, Play Rough and Bounce are also good moves. If you go back to E12, you can breed Panpour>Buizel>Remoraid>Piplup to get an Empoleon with Scald, Ice Beam and Agility, Drill Peck via level-up or Grass Knot via TM are a good 4th move.
  4. Welp, win goes to Jericho. Fits the theme the most (totally not biased cuz Rise Against, nope)
  5. I'd say go for the HP Ice Helioptile and the HP Ground Litwick.
  6. Nope, only the caves with a 7% appearance chance. Back to the caves with you!
  7. In this video, Ame says that the end of the game and post-game will be in the same episode, thus at the very least some post-game will exist.
  8. HP Fairy exists, but only in Reborn. Also, Solar Power Heliolisk is much better than Dry Skin Heliolisk. If you actually set up the sunlight, that is.
  9. As foes perhaps. Although all Pokemon are supposed to be obtainable by the end of it, I'd assume something like the primals, legendaries and megas will only be post-game content. Maybe. We've gotten through about 2/3 of the game, yet we only have one pseudo-legendary. PS:Where'd you get the Rotom sprite?
  10. Alright then! So, New theme: War. Oh, and how long do I wait for submissions before voting?
  11. Just to add, if one of the Pokemon holds an Everstone, the parent will pass on their nature. That said, I'd really say you either get a new Chandelure with HP Fighting/Fairy or give your current one Trick Room. Super-Effective HP Poison is weaker than neutral Flamethrower, Azumarill is the only thing hit harder by HP Poison than Flamethrower, but there's Energy Ball. Oh, and if you're planning to set sunlight for Heliolisk, Surf gets a 1.5 modifier for Solar Power but a 0.5 modifier for being a Water attack in sunlight, so HP Ice and Surf have the same power in Sunlight. HP Ice also has better coverage, especially since the Dragon gym is still ahead of us.
  12. I'd say go back to E12 or earlier for that Gengar. Breed Stunfisk>Grimer>Gengar to get it both Sludge Bomb and Thunderbolt. Destiny Bond is also a great move for it. Hypnosis is a terrible move and Dark Pulse has the same SE coverage as Shadow Ball but it doesn't get the STAB boost so scrap it. Hidden Power could also be nice, depending on what type you get. And give it a Timid/Modest nature. Give that Dusknoir Trick Room and get yourself some HM slave, Bibarel learns all but Fly, Dive and Flash. You also have plenty of Fighting moves on your team already, so give it one of the elemental punches instead. Give it a -Speed nature. And Frisk is a better ability for it. In-game, priority really isn't all that important, you'd be much better of with Agility instead of Bullet Punch on that Metagross. And give it a -SpecialAttack nature, Adamant would be best. Sucker Punch on Bisharp is a must. Instead of Brick Break, you could also go for Psycho Cut from the Abra evolutionary line. In fact, both Night Slash and Psycho Cut have a +1 crit rate, so if you give it a Scope Lens, you would have 2 moves with a 50% crit rate. And make it Defiant and Adamant. Go back to the circus and get the Dive HM, Swampert learns that. If you want to keep a Fighting attack on it, give it Hammer Arm, but Avalanche (from Bergmite/Avalugg) would be a lot better IMO. There's also Curse. Or you could go back to E12 or earlier and give it Rock Slide from Rhyhorn. Give it a -Speed nature, not like you can rely on it to outspeed foes. Give Arcanine Close Combat from Primeape instead of Crunch, ditch Heat Wave for Agility or maybe Extreme Speed. And make it Adamant.
  13. Go-to Pokemon for Noel are Cofagrigus, Escavalier and Durant.

  15. The person you have guessed is currently unavailable. Please leave a message after the Zephyr.
  16. The next game is actually not a Pokemon game iirc, so unless Fern travels to a different world/universe... And "TM101 World Saver" is something I can't wait to get
  17. Not to be that guy, but topic for this already exists.
  18. Cofagrigus with Will-o-Wisp does a real number on her team, especially that Medicham. Anything with Reflect would also be great to have, and I hear some people can do great against her with a Granbull.
  19. If you go back to E12 or earlier, you can get and train up a Goldeen to breed Waterfall onto Sharpedo to give it an actually decent Water STAB attack. Uproar would be a good move for Gothitelle, at least for now, so grab yourself a Spinda. After Luna, you could also go back to E12 and breed Lotad/Petilil>Cacnea>Gothitelle for Energy Ball and Dark Pulse. Instead of Taunt and Fury Swipes, I'd say run with Thunder Punch and either Acrobatics or Fake Out. I'm 99% sure that you can mine up Sun Stones, so you can already get your Heliolisk. Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Grass Knot and Surf/HP Ice sounds good to me. There's a Grass Knot TM in E13 or you can use the Pansage in Aventurine forest to breed in E12 (Pansage>Scraggy>Helio) But keep in mind that, for Surf, the Solar Power boost is not enough to make up for the sun-caused decrease in power. And what's worth mentioning is that (although it's not really "legal") you can get yourself a Toxic Orb by abusing a glitch and the Facade TM from the Game Corner, Guts Luxray might be worth using with those two. In the Wasteland, you can get yourself a Spiritomb which passes on Nasty Plot (and Memento, though it's not that great a move). Nasty Plot, Trick Room, HP Fighting and Shadow Ball make this thing a monster. Once you get to that point, just swap Headbutt for Play Rough and Bite for Crunch and you're good to go.
