  1. After picking up the Mystery Dungeon games, I just noticed another reference: The miner you get the Mining Kit, before talking to you, "mines" a rock and shouts "Yoom-tah!", a catchphrase of the Wigglytuff in the MD series.
  2. Sure, I'll give you a whole box of candy! Though those boxes are heavy, you'll have to help me carry. Let's just go to my van right over-O-oh, hi Sheep! H-How long have you been standing there...?
  3. I'm too peasant to own a tablet. Give me a loan, PWB?
  4. Oh, I did see it, but I just figured I'd list it's best set because I couldn't have known what you're running on it and if it's a Water type you need, nothing really compares to Gyarados, Empoleon is your next-best bet. I guess you could try out "Crit-dra". Scope Lensed Sniper Kingdra with Surf, Focus Energy, Dragon Pulse and Agility, but I'd say Empoleon tops Reborn's Critdra.
  5. Could be worse. Could be trying to post while on your phone (curse you, S2). Zeph.
  6. Not the easiest request ever, buuuuut I'd say you go get Gallade/Mienshao, Staraptor/Archeops, Empoleon and Roserade/Liligant/Gogoat/Gourgeist/Leavanny. Recommendable sets (in my book), in order, would be: -Gallade, Steadfast, Adamant/Jolly Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Close Combat. Give it a Scope Lens from the O.Dept Store and all but the last move will crit 50% of the time. You can also give it Trick Room, which is always a plus in my book (just don't make it Jolly then). -Mienshao, Reckless/Regenerator, Jolly, High Jump Kick, Bounce, Knock Off, Poison Jab. No need to say anything here, except for the fact that you have to go back to E12 or earlier for it and once there breed it with a Farfetch'd. Staraptot, Reckless, Jolly, Brave Bird, Double-Edge, Close Combat, Endeavor. Raw power. Give this thing a _blank_ gem and any foe in front of it will be decimated. -Archeops, Defeatist, Jolly, Acrobatics, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw/Earthquake/U-Turn/Crunch, Endeavor. Jolly, not Adamant. See, Defeatist ruin offences, but not it's Speed, so Endeavor can be used to let you keep on fighting. EQ is gotten from Wooper>Corsola>Archen. -Empoleon, Defiant, Quiet/Brave, Scald, Ice Beam, Agility, Drill Pecl. Just look at this guy's stats. Speed is the only thing it lacks, but then there's Agility, letting it outspeed any unboosted foe. Panpour>Buizel>Remoraid>Piplup nets it, in order, Scald+Ice Beam+Agility along with level-up Drill Peck, to give it perfect neutral coverage. -Roserade, Technician, Timid, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Extrasensory, HP Fire. The chain for SB and ES is Grimer>Stunfisk>Wooper>Mauwile>Roselia>Exeggcute>Roselia. -Gogoat, Sap Sipper, Adamant/Jolly, Horn Leech/Leaf Blade, Earthquake/Brick Break/Aerial Ace, Bulk Up. You just buff your defense and attack while healing with items when needed and start sweeping. It's pretty damn bulky, so setting up on any not-super-effective attacks shouldn't be that tough, especially if it's a physical attacker we're talking about. -Liligant, Own Tempo, Timid/Modest, Sleep Powder, Quiver Dance, HP Rock, Petal Dance/Energy Ball. Just set up a QD or 2 and you're good to go, SP helps you set that up. PD is the best STAB Grass move it gets and it doesn't even confuse it due to Own Tempo, but EBall doesn't lock you into a move. HP Rock hits all of Grass' weaknesses except for Poison. --Gourgeist, Frisk, Sassy/Relaxed, Protect, Leech Seed, Will-o-Wisp, Phantom Force. I dub it "Death by Status". LS and WoW damage the foe for 1/4 of their health every turn while Protect+PF let the foe hit you only once every 3 turns. The foe gets to ht you once while they're losing 75% of their health. LS gets it health, WoW weakens physical hits and it has great bulk (only super-sized is in the game)which lets it set up LS and WoW with ease, so it'll be nigh impossible to kill unless the foe has a SE special attack. -Leavanny, Overcoat/Swarm, Jolly, X-Scissor, Leaf Blade, Sticky Web, Slash/Entrainment. Slash is an extra attack, while Entrainment handles serious threats such as Medicham. Whoops, forgot to add: Gourgy gets Protect and Will-o-Wisp from Yamask in E12. Sorry 'bout that.
  7. Hi Hilda, I'm back. Bye Rose, I gotta go.
  8. It.may be possible, but I think it's just for completion's sake, listing all moves for which it would make sense to affect the field in any way
  9. They're the same Egg group (Amorphous) and the first evo-stage, Phantump, learns it via TM, so yes.
  10. There's 2 options. Either: A) Beat Charlotte or Go back to route 2/the circus, save and go back to E12.
  11. You're talking about Pumkpaboo/Gourgeist and it ets it from Yamask along with Will-o-Wisp.
  12. IMO, It'd be better of with T-bolt and S-Bomb (Stunfisk>Grimer>Gastly) instead of WoW, Gengar is better off with 3 attacks and Destiny Bond. Even with WoW, it has paper-thin defenses and rather than wearing a foe down, you can juat take 'em with you with DB. If you want to pass on a STAB move, you could go for Lotad/Petilil>Phantump>Solosis>Gastly to give it Energy Ball and Psychic.
  13. I want you, PWB. For a "loan", that is. I'm trying to make a fruit salad, but I'm missing some ingredients. Sheep, want a serving?
  14. It's actually he original BP x1.3 x1.5(STAB). That's how Sylveon's Trump Card can reach 390BP.
  15. Gengar is quite good, haven't had any experience with Mismagius in Reborn, but just to list some under-appreciated yet impressive ones: You could also wage war with statuses via Gourgeist. Leech Seed + Will-o-Wisp takes 1/4 of the foes health per turn, while Protect + Phantom Force makes you only get hit once in 3 turns. It also most definitely has the bulk to set up LS+WoW, since Ame implemented only the bulkiest one. For a more offensive one, there's Cofagrigus. No, really. Nasty plot from Spiritomb + Trick Room from Radomus + Shadow Ball + HP Fighting = GG.
  16. Yup. Type-changing abilities like Refrigerate don't affect WB in weather. But in regular condotions it should be a 65BP Ice-move (x1.3 due to ability).
  17. Yeah, iirc, Ame once said it's the Biggest one because it's the combatively-most-viable one.
  18. This one has, unlike the one above, has to be done in E13. It's Gyarados>Scrafty, then *anything with the same Egg group that learns ZH (check Bulbapedia's Scrafty page or something)*>the same Scraggy you hatched with Gyarados.
  19. You can get both Sunny Day and Rain Dance TMs, just the timing differs depending on who you joined.
    1. AeroWraith

      AeroWraith

.....What...the......actual? Ingo must be thinking "how do I even respond" XD

  20. Would anyone be able to explain Recursive Functions and Pointers in C?

    1. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Not well, I would be rusty as shit. Though I think Dan might be able to help you out.

  21. I don't want to be matching with whatever the hell that is, PWB. Plus Halloween isn't really "a thing" here. Or rather, a thing people care about. How about your part of the world, Sheep? Got any plans?
  22. Hoothoot won't be too good vs Julia, but it'll be very hand in at least the next 2 gyms. Hariyama is also the perfect Cradily counter.
