  1. Because you did it in E12, that's not supposed to be possible if you beat Samson in E13. We only get to go back because we'd otherwise be completely stuck until the next episode, so getting to go back before beating all currently released content shouldn't be possible.
  2. Seems fun, I'll join in (pleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParaspleasenotParas)
  3. And the TM breeding mechanics.
  4. If you're a little further into the game, the go-to strategy for item hunting on wild Pokemon is to have a Fainted Pokemon with Compound Eyes in your first slot and a Pokemon with Frisk in the second (aka topmost) slot. CE bring up the chance of an item holder appearing from 1/5/50% to 5/20/60%. There's also a Black Sludge on a container in the Byxbysion Wasteland.
  5. First of, Heracross reKs Luna with his STABs and Moxie. It has 110 Base Special Attack! And Pixilate! And you can set it up to fire off a 390 BP move, a trick only it and Mega Glalie's Refrigirate Explosion can pull off! You don't even have to breed it to make it good (sorta don't). But you have to keep it as an Eevee until 45 to get it Trump Card. See, Trump Card gets stronger the less uses it has left, it goes 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 BP if you have 5+,4,3,2 and 1 use left. But Pixilate multiplies a Normal moves power by 1.3 and makes it a Fairy move which then gets a 1.5 STAB multiplier. So Trump Card actually has 78, 97.5, 117, 156 and 390 BP! Moves to go with it would be Shadow Ball, Light Screen or Hidden Power and Moonblast (to have a stable attack). Oh, and no Wish. That's a competitive move, to be used in a competitive environment because healing items aren't available. We have healing items. Anyways, looking at the rest of your team, Swoobat, Simipour, Tauros and Liepard could and should go. A few gyms from now (dunno if you can do this before or after E14's gym) you can get yourself a Toxic Orb and utilize Guts Luxray which is best Luxray. I'd wait and give that a shot, but if you don't want it anyways, that's 5 team members to be replaced. Now, 2 things I see are that you 1)dislike breeding, so I'll keep that in mind with my suggestions; and 2)want to have a tank somewhere. Now, you don't need one. There is no need for any "roles" at all. I've got an all-out attacking team and am doing just fine. But nonetheless, if you insist, Sylveon, especially with Light Screen is a wonderful special tank, and I guess I'll add some other ones you could use down there vvv: Now, team members. We've already got your Delphox (for which Flame Charge would be an excellent move) and Sylveon. Let's look at their (in my opinion) optimal sets: Delphox Timid/Modest Magician Flame Charge/Light Screen or Will-o-Wisp Shadow Ball/Hidden Power Psychic/Psyshock Flamethrower and Sylveon Modest/Sassy Pixilate Trump Card Moonblast Light Screen Shadow Ball/Hidden Power We're past the Psychic and Ghost gyms, so you could use some HP instead of Shadow Ball. For the third member, my go-to recommendation for everyone is Durant. It's fast, it has great base defense and a Steel typing, and the Hustle ability essentially gives it 190 Base Attack. I'd recommend breeding it with a Dwebble (will be reached soon after Luna) to get it Rock Slide or a Skorupi for Hone Claws to make this thing even more of a monster, but you said you don't wanna breed, so go with: Durant Jolly/Adamant Hustle X-Scissor Iron Head Dig Crunch/Retaliate (Retaliate is in the game corner and online Voltorb calcs do exist, if the game troubles you) As for a good number 4, I'd go with a Tyrantrum, but only if you'll breed for Dragon Dance (Altaria/Horsea) which, believe me, definitely pays off. Seriously, this guy is so good. 1 Dragon Dance + Rock Head + Head Smash spam = Badge get. Tyrantrum Adamant/Jolly Rock Head Dragon Dance Earthquake Head Smash Dragon Claw But if you REALLY don't want to breed, go for Archeops (Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, Acrobatics and Endeavor). Next up, 5th: Gogoat Careful Sap Sipper Bulk Up Horn Leech/Leaf Blade Earthquake Brick Break/Aerial Ace And for the 6th go for: Heliolisk Timid/Modest Dry Skin Thunderbolt Grass Knot (if you have the TM/beat Florinia before E13) or Hidden Power (Ice would be perfect) Dark Pulse Surf ....or that's what I'd do. Do tell if you'd rather not use any of these guys and I'll try to see what could replace them.
  6. That title made think someone's starting a thread about a Monotype Nuzlocke of Reborn, but then the page loaded. I went from excited to slightly embarased within 5 seconds. Anyways, I have to completely agree with Jericho. Haydunn is my fav Poketuber and Snakewood really does know how to throw you for a loop and it's certainly not hesitant to do so (now if only my save hadn't glitched, I'd still be playing that).
  7. You can easily find links for earlier episodes just by searching around the forums. But If you don't want to breed, that's that.. I had SD Drapion since around Aya, who knows when we'd get something as good as Swords Dance, if ever. Oh well. Yup, HP from Noel. 4/6 of your team is Dark. Whether something "fits in" isn't something to think about
  8. I actually tried that once and no, it works. If your character is Kuro/Lucia, you can still go back to episodes before they had been implemented just fine, it's just that you'll be invisible.
  9. Items should be fine, it's just Pokemon and maybe moves.
  10. Well then: Greninja can get itself the Surf HM if you prefer it's vastly superior accuracy. If you go back to E12 or earlier, you can also get your Greninja Ice Beam via Remoraid. You could also get it Dig (E12-), since you seem to like switching to Ghost on predicted Fighting Attacks, you could do the same to Electric attacks. And yes, Dark Pulse is a TM which you can get sorta-soon. You should also go Modest, Greninja is plenty fast already. Instead of Hone Claws you can get it Swords Dance from Ninjask in E12-, along with X-Scissor. If you don't want X-Scissor, at least get it Bug Bite and keep it at least until you beat the 2 gyms after Noel. SD Drapion can sweep those easily. Fell Stinger also since E12 (or 13) works properly, but it's far, far less reliable than Swords Dance. Also, Night Slash and Cross Poison each have a 50% chance to crit if you give it a Scope Lens from the Obsidia Dept. Store, and Sniper will make those crits really hurt. With Swords Dance, you won't need the extra attack that much, so go for Impish on it (Def+, Sp.Atk-). Without SD, Adamant or Impish is the way to go, maybe Jolly. Swords Dance, Night Slash, Cross Poison and X-Scissor would be the best set IMO. Give Krookodile a Jolly Nature, Moxie will give it the needed power, so Speed is what you need to sweep. Also, get it Rock Slide/Stone Edge through breeding in E12- with Rhyhorn/Camerupt or Drilbur. I'd actually recommend Rock Slide, the extra accuracy and the flinch rate will make a Moxie sweep all the more likely. You can even make it have 99% accuracy if you go Yanma hunting, wild ones have a 5% chance (or 20% if you lead with a Pokemon with Compound Eyes) of holding a Wide Lens, which boost all moves accuracies by 10%. Make it Timid. It'll have power with Nasty Plot, you need Speed. Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse have the same SE coverage, but Dark Pulse gets STAB, thus it's stronger. Instead of SB, you could get it either a Hidden Power or even better, much better, Flame Charge to boost Speed with, just breed it with a Cyndaquil/Ponyta/Tepig. Honestly, Castform sucks. Really If you'll use Froslass, definitely give it Cursed Body as it's ability. Also, go for Frost Breath, Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond and Spikes or Wake-Up Slap. Though it's unfortunately not that great.

    Trading...

Although the guy who runs that one, Dban1, hasn't been online since late August, so you may wanna find someone who can edit save files (that's how Dban did those "trades") and ask them for it.
  12. Yeah, I messed up there, I wrote that one while thinking of Gothita.
  13. 2 types I'd love to see would be Grass/Fire and Ghost/fighting or Ghost/Normal.
  14. So turns out there was fake Etesian over on PO, but they were removed. Dunno what they were up to, but I joined PO today, so "the real thing" will be there from now on. Sorry 'bout anything that person may have done

I actually couldn't until now, PO wouldn't work on me for Windows for some reason, but I had to get myself Linux for college and just gave it a shot.

  15. Absol vs Elite Four! Place your bets at the local Leavanny! Approved by Vinny, totally not a scam, nope!
  16. I'd say it does matter. How many good TMs do we have right now, compared to how many exist? In Gen 5 and earlier, you could breed pretty much anything onto anything. There's also the point of when we get what. You could've had Flamethrower at Shelly before, now you have to get aaaaaall the way to Charlotte. Oh, and both parents do pass on Egg Moves.
  17. Those same guys also dug around and apparently got the stats of the Megas. http://tinyurl.com/q3c9ma8
  18. Apparently the stats of Mega Evolutions have been leaked. Mega Beedrill, I am SO gonna enjoy using you. http://tinyurl.com/q3c9ma8

CB Scizor OHKO's, CB Azu OHKO's after rocks, Mega Scizor OHKO's after rocks, Talonflame obviously OHKO's, even life orb Mamo has a chance to OHKO after rocks. This is OU's priority, how does Mega Beedrill survive in that environment?

    3. Sheep

      Sheep

Because I forgot some, here's some more. Mega Pinsir OHKO's, Bisharp OHKO's, Life orb Lucario OHKO's after rocks, Dragonite 81.3% chance of an OHKO after rocks. Meanwhile Landorus-T, Skarmory, and Gliscor, the three most prevalent physical walls in OU all hard counter Beedrill's dual stab.

  19. Oh, the hate list? Shred it, burnt it, buried the ashes. You don't need that anymore, you're changing your ways, pal. You know what would help you walk the path of peace? Religion! PWB, shed some of Lord Xatu's light on this man!
  20. Just go back to E12 or earlier and breed there. Rhyhorn can do the job well.
  21. Don't have a lot of time, so I'll cut this one short. I'll agree with Smok3iT, get a rock move. Chesnaught should roll with Curse, Hammer Arm, Wood Hammer and Stone Edge. Give it a Zoom Lens to make SE's accuracy 96% or a Scope Lens to make SE crit 50% of the time. Not terribly bulky on the special side to begin with, nature won't help much with that. Get Impish/Adamant/Relaxed/Brave. I'll disagree with the above, Lopunny has low health and high Special Defense, the inverse is required of a good Mirror Coat user. Return has max 102 Bp based on friendship, better than Strength. Jump Kick and Bounce can stay, but an Elemental Punch should be your third move, Thunder or Ice. And make it Jolly or Adamant or something. It's quite a task, but get a new Trapinch and don't evolve it until level 67 for Superpower or at least 55 for Earthquake, ditch Crunch. Scope Lens is a really weird item for something with no high-crit-ratio moves. Go for Jolly or Adamant. Houndoom really has nothing good for a 4th move, Hidden Power or Sludge Bomb, maybe Destiny Bond, but definitely not Shadow Ball. Make this guy Timid or Modest. And B.Powder isn't that great. Give it Trace and Modest. Trick Room can also help against very fast foes. And send that Shell Bell over to Flygon/Houndoom. Neither Dragon Rush nor Steel Wing are available, not even through breeding. But even with those Fluffdra is terrible. I guess you can get it Ice Beam via Remoraid>Horsea and give it that Flamethrower TM. And make it Modest. But let me say that Kingdra or it's variation Crit-dra would be much, much better than ol' Cotton-wings here. You can get a Scald, Ice Beam, Signal Beam, Dragon Pulse set via Panpour>*insert any Water1/Field Pokemon*>Remoraid>Horsea. Or the 100% crit chance Focus Energy, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse/Agility (just make sure it's ability is Sniper to make crits do x2.25 damage).
  22. As Sheep said, we know, but just to add, there is a Bug Reporting section for this kinda stuff. And the search feature to check whether the Bug you found has already been reported.
