  1. It certainly gets the better Fire attack with Eruption. It can also get Extrasensory through breeding and Nature Power and HP through TM. A-ny-ways: Swampert gets Dive from HM, so there's a reason to go back to the circus for ya. I'm guessing Sludge Wave was really useful against Noel, because that's the main reason mine still has the move. But SW needs to go, that Sp.Attack stat is nothing to write home about. Avalanche would be a great move for Swampert, especially because it's Speed isn't all that great to begin with. For the same reason, Curse is good on it as well, but I'd say you'd be better of with Avalanche. There's also Endeavor, but you'd need to predict well to use it well with something that slow. Yawn can also be good, but Sleep lasts at most 3 turns, at least 1. For Hariyama (if you want to keep it),...redo. Cross Chop isn't much weaker than Close Combat, but it doesn't nerf your defenses and it's slow enough to utilize Zoom Lens (+20% accuracy if slower than the foe) from the O.Dept Store. With one of those, Cross Chop has 96% accuracy. Hariyama is also heavy enough to utilize Heavy Slam to great effect. Knock Off is also a very neat move, removes foes annoying items and hits for 150% power if the foes has an item. Hariyama really doesn't have the stats to use Belly Drum. It's only real defense is it's high HP, not it's defensive stats, taking half of that HP is a high price to pay. It's also too slow to keep the remainder of said halved HP, so you're basically helping the foe kill you. You could combine it with Bullet Punch to mitigate those speed issues, but most of the time you won't even get to set up Belly Drum. It'd be great if you could reliable set it up, but that's not quite the case. Hariyama's low defense and high health make it a good user of Counter. Also, with that Attack Stat, you could also stack up on Normal Gems at the O.D.Store and fire high powered Fake Outs. Scrafty gets some really good stuff through breeding, most notably Dragon Dance, but also the 3 Elemental Punches (Hitmonchan>Lopunny>Scrafty) and Zen Headbutt. And there's Fake Out. Other than that, Meowstic can set up Dual Screens well (if you want to do that, get Light Clay form the O.D.Store), Noivern seems fine but I'll agree that you need Boomburst on it (Tailwind and Super Fang are also moves to consider), and Pyroar is...yeah, that'll do. Not like it has much variety anyways. Now, do you want to swap any team members or...? I mean if you got this far and are satisfied with the team, that's that, but you could make the game easier.
  2. That. The Reborn League was a competitive league which used to exist. Sadly, it's gone now. ...it doesn't matter now, but this section is for in-game teams. The Onyx Trainers' School is the section for this.
  3. It's a pain to go all the way back, especially in parts pf the game where you can't go back, like E12-13.
  4. 'ello. Team Showcase is the section to go if you want advice for your in-game team.
  5. Swampert also gets Yawn and has overall better stats. When a move is acquired doesn't matter since it seems OP is looking for something to use in the long run.
  6. Well, I'd need to know their movesets to really get this going, y'know, to see what you have and what you need, but you have 3 team members that should/could go now. Pyroar, Hariyama and Meowstic. At this point of the game, there's better to be had. Especially Hariyama. I always considered it to be a Cradily counter (a great one at that) and maybe something to use against Serra, but that's it. It suffers from "Wailord syndrome" as I call it, huge HP, no defense. Pyroar and Meowstic are also great for the stage at which they evolve, but there's better team members to be had. Also, Noivern with an Attack Boosting nature is kinda...pointless. It being a Special attacker and all that. So yeah, movesets pls. (And where'd you get Lucky Eggs?)
  7. Cofagrigus handles Kiki's Signature Pokemon incredibly well, Will-O-Wisp also helps a lot with 5/6 of her squad. Deposit Noibat till it evolves. Having it now will do you no favors. Hariyama is kind of...done. In Reborn, it's role is that of a Cradily counter. There's better stuff to have on your team now. Kiki has a certain Steel type you should save that Lopunny for, that Speed and Jump Kick will really come in handy there. If you need Speed, get a Sewaddle in Jasper, but level it to 31 before evolving it. That's when it gets Sticky Web, which it's 2 evolutions don't. Leavanny also works very well in the Psychic and Dark gyms. Azumarill's brand new Fairy typing lets it take hits here, especially if you get Azurill to 23 to get Bounce before evolution. That lead Machamp of hers needs to go fast. 130 Base Attack and ridicously varied moves make it a huge threat. Good thing it's so slow. Gems. They can be found all over the place and can be (at some point, not sure when) bought at the O.Dept Store for just 200 a pop. This is actually (IMO) early for asking for team advice because a lot of stuff has yet to be reached, Pokemon and level-up moves alike. I'd say Meowstic, Emolga, Hariyama and Lopunny need to go later. They're good at the point you're at, but they'll outlive their usefulness down the line. As for stuff later on, if you want counters to specific gyms (with minor spoilers regarding Gym types and clues as to who the Gym's ace is): Drought Vulpix for the Ice Gym. Fighting types are also great here, much better than Ice's other weaknesses. Arcanine with Outrage for the new Poison Gym Leader's ace. Cofagrigus, Escavalier and Durant for the Normal Gym. Durant with Hustle reKs the Psychic and Dark gyms.Drapion is great as well, but you need to let it keep Bug Bite (which it gets really early) to make that really easy to do. If you go back to E12, you can breed it with a Ninjask to get it Swords Dance. After one SD, my Drapion took down 4 Pokes in the Psychic Gym. Leavanny is also great for these 2 (except for some certain pokes). New Fighting Gym gets reKt by Crobat. There's also an Archeops event which does similarly well against that same gym. And an Alakazam (among others) event. You'll also need a sorta-fast lead with a Fighting move (other than Rock Smash) and ideally a Fighting Gem for the Dark Gym's lead to avoid having to deal with Hazards. Fire Gym is incredibly tough if you don't use Rain Dance or Trick Room. Bronzong (with Heatproof, ideally) gets both (Trick Room via TM, one which can't be missed, Rain Dance via Heart Scale or TM). Kingdra is also a good one to have here. Welp, that's my take on the gyms to come. If you still struggle with something, plenty of topics on basically every gym leader exist.
  8. I haven't hear dof 2AM hype either so I'll join Zeph in the Bored section. I see you, Ark
  9. Can't really recommend anything without knowing more about your team. Why don't you make a topic in the Team Showcase Section? It could help your team overall, you might be missing out on something like, say, Waterfall for that there Sharpedo. Also, if Noel is trouble, Cofagrigus, Escavalier and Durant (with Hustle) work very well against him
  10. Arbok. Glare + Screech/Acid Spray (depending on what your team favors, physical or special attacks). Boom. Also, Noctowl is incredibly useful for his gym.
  11. Metal Penguin is depressed. What the best Water type is depends on your team, sure, but depending on what you have Empoleon can be the absolute best. It's got crazy Special bulk, very good physical bulk, a great typing (only Magnezone has more resistances) and great Special Attack. Although you need E12 for it's best set: Panpour>Floatzel>Remoraid>Empoleon gets Empoleon Agility, Ice Beam and Scald. Drill Peck, especially with Defiant, is a great 4th move which gives you neutral coverage on all but Rotom-W, Lanturn and Empoleon itself.

    Phantump?

Pumpkaboo has an event on the Graveyard. Phantump is found on Route 4, basically at the end of the current episode. And for further reference; http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/?showtopic=6802 http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/?showtopic=7866
  13. Granted, but all other computers on Earth blow up as well and everyone on Earth knows it's your fault. I wish someone would make their own wish in the same sentence they use to corrupt this wish.
  14. Suitable, as in Nature, Ability and IVs.
  15. Welcome! Someone's about to drop the standard intro on you, so I'll cover the usually-forgotten bits. If you're into RolePlaying, we have an RP section. Contact Hukuna if you're curious. The Team Showcase section is my home the place to go if you want to hear opinions on your in-game tea. Just make a topic and watch the magic happen. Hope you enjoy your stay.
  16. Anyone here playing Pixel Dungeon?

  17. I'm not fighting that thing! *Leavanny used Baton Pass* Have fun, Ashes!
  18. No necroposting please. No one's posted here in over half a year, so there's hardly a need for anyone to do so now.
