  1. Regarding stat distribution, only Pyroar's speed is better than any of Arcanine's stats (Sp.atk doesn't matter as Arcanine's Atk is better than Pyroars S.A). Physical bulk is slightly weaker, but there's quite a difference in Special bulk. Pyroar also has an extra weakness, a pretty common one at that, which it got in exchange for an immunity to a pretty rare type. Level-up method only matters early on. Sure, early on Pyroar is more useful than Growlithe, but not more than Arcanine. You can also get a Sun Stone as soon as you get Rock Smash, at level 35 or less even. The point about delay to level 45 stands, so Pyroar has a 15 level range it's useful in. Having stronger moves is also nothing Pyroar can brag about. Arcanine has 3 120 BP moves (how is Outrage garbage?), Pyroar's only 100+ BP moves are Overheat, barely stronger than Flare Blitz, and Hyper Beam (which makes you immobile for a turn). With that low defense, buffing isn't advisable, Headbutt is bad in the long run, same for Fire Fang. Arcanine's movepool is better even without CC, which takes hardly any time to get. Just grap a Mankey/Primeape from Route 1, get it 10-ish levels and you're good to go. With the Unown in Citae, grinding is really easy. How easy something is to get doesn't affect how useful it is in the long run, which is the point of this. Again, no one's denying that it's useful early on. Just that Arcanine is better in the long run.
  2. Doesn't Charlotte have a gym in one of the upcoming towns?
  3. Kinda like the first post of this topic?
  4. Raichu's attack stats are only 90s, it learns only Electric and Normal attacks by leveling up and breeding and it's bulk is pretty bad. Nasty Plot access is nice, but Amphy and Helio seem better.
  5. Welp, not much to say here, you're still at a rather early point of the game. What can be said is that Vivilion, Pyroar, and Mr.Mime have terrible defense and there are better attackers out there. If you want to keep them, Shield Dust would be better for Vivilion, Psybeam and Light Screen would also be useful. A whole lot of new usable Pokemon and breeding-material will become useful as you go on. Until you get to some of them, Yamask, Stunfisk (seriously), Drapion (in the next area, you can use Rock Smash to get Nincada>Ninjask which can breed Swords Dance onto Drapion), Zoroark, Leavanny (if you wait for E13, Sewaddle will get Sticky Web at level 31), Venomoth and Skuntank. The best Electric types you can get in Reborn would be Ampharos and Heliolisk. Ampharos can easily and quickly get Agility, as Bunelby, Buneary and Growlithe can be gotten very early. Heliolisk with Solar Power and Vulpix with Drought break the 6th gym. It also pays of to get it in the long run, you can later get a Pansage to breed Grass Knot onto it, use a Dark Pulse TM and use the Surf HM (to be gotten in E13). Though you should wait with evolving Helioptile until level 40/49 for Volt Switch/Thunderbolt. That's all I've got for now since you said you're unsure about who stays and who goes and the good breeding "components" are yet to be reached.
  6. On phone, cannot join in on the ridiculing of a race(?). But nah, We're all fellow living beings, even Absol are usually fine. Usually. Keeping an eye on you, Jakey. Goessl to show you that every family has a black Sheep.
  7. Still feel like dissing Spongebob, Absol?
  8. Not yet at least. The whole sticker system for the Obsidia Dept. Store will be changed in E13, everyone who is at the end of the current episode will be able to reach the 9th floor, so they might be there on one of the new floors. They are unavailable so far.
  9. I let so many people down... Can you forgive me, Zeph (and/or Sheep)?
  10. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9188
  11. Try aproaching that area from other sides. Necroposting is a big no-no. There are a few threads about Heracross/Pinsir around and there's also this: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/?showtopic=3876
  12. In a cave somewhere within Route 1. And yes, I meant Azurine, my bad.
  13. My bad. But still, Air Cutter has a 50% chance to crit, thus having 90 Base Power....which gives it the same average power as Air Slash. Yeah, go for Air Slash and it's high flinch chance. Then you could give Crobat Black Sludge. I can't find an image of it's location, but check the big container in the bottom left at 11:57 here. Also, Bibarel learns all HMs expect for Cut and Flash.
  14. Having 3 Flying moves is super redundant. You could breed Crobat with an Archen for U-Turn or with a HootHoot for Zen Headbutt. You can use a Honckrow to breed Nasty Plot onto Crobat adn use a set like Air Slash, Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball and Hidden Power. If you do that, get a Scope Lens from the Obsidia Dept Store. With it, Air Slash will have a 50% chance to crit (12.5% for all other moves). Level a male Stunfisk to level 45 to have it learn Thunderbolt, breed that with a female Grimer/Muk, you'll get a Grimer Egg with Tbolt. Level a male Grimer (which will have Tbolt) to level 26 to have it learn Sludge Bomb and breed that with a female Gastly. You'll get the egg of a Gastly with Sludge Bomb and Thunder Bolt. Shadow Ball and Destiny Bond works well with that. At least until we get Surf, you can get Water Pledge from the circus. You can also breed it with a Remoraid for Ice Beam. And use that Dark Pulse TM, maybe learn Spikes for Protean against predicted Electric attacks. Breed that Arcanine with a Primeape/Zangoose to get Close Combat. Level that new Growlithe to level 45 to get it Outrage and Flare Blitz. I'd recommend Agility as well, or Crunch/Extreme Speed if you don't want Agility. Get an Altaria to Breed Dragon Dance to Tyrantrum. The Dept. Store also has 2 accuracy boosting items, one boosts by 10% always, another by 20% if your foe's faster. It would make Head Smash have 88% or 96% percent accuracy. If you get one Agility, the priority from Bullet Punch wouldn't matter and you could use Meteor Mash, a 2 times stronger attack than Bullet Punch, instead of B-Punch. For the Excadrill, you can use a Zangoose to breed Swords Dance and X-Scissor.
  15. Y'know, now that we're getting Surf, I wouldn't be at all surprised to find a Tentacool while surfing around Aventurine Island.
  16. Shouldn't it be Poison in Vein first, then Poison in Vain? We do fight Kiki before Aya after all.
  17. Ever stones are found as random hidden items and held items on Roggenrola (50% chance). All other breeding treated items are yet to be implemented, I believe.
  18. Ralts is weak. Gardevoir isn't. Especially with the Poison gyms, one of which is right around the level range at which Kirlia evolves and the Fighting Gym.
  19. Slightly of topic, but does anyone have links to such super-early episodes? Like #7 and down?
  20. I'm not sure at which point you are exactly, but I'd say get a Yamask from Shade's Gym. If you want to wait a bit until you reach the Wasteland, get a male Spiritomb, get it to level 37 for Nasty Plot/43 for Memento, and breed it with a female Yamask to get a Yamask with that/those move/moves.
