  1. He's reffering to a road crossing, sometimes also called a zebra crossing. Or he may be sort-of-translating it from another language. From German to English, the literal translation is "Zebra Stripe".
  2. I'd say go get a Growlithe. It learns Outrage at level 45 which will make the most difficult/annoying part of that fight way easier.

So yeah, that's the team that got me to the end of E11 with ease, along with Arcanine, Alakazam, Cofagrigus and Ursaring. I'm very satisfied with this team. In fact I haven't lost any optional win fights. Also not really worried about physical tanks, since my 2 Screechers together resist 8 types while they only share Rock and Ice weaknesses, types which 2/3rds of my team can hit super effectively. And that's all I have to say. How about you? Any advice/recommendations/Pokemon I should train? 'Till E12, guess I might go check PO.
  4. How I wish I had thought of that when I went to catch Beldum the first time. Not only did it keep killing itself with TakeDown, my 8 Great Balls, 2 Ultra Balls and Dusk Ball gave no results after at least 40 mins of reloading. I even missed a Shiny Beldum with it's hidden ability (which I didn't want, but still). Next time, 1 Fury Swipe from Shedinja and 1 Level Ball were all it took. GG, me.
  5. I don't know what to tell you, I actually had a relatively easy time due to planning. I kept reloading until my Crobat's Focus Band worked to then use Screech. Then, Scrafty had just enough Defense/Health to take a hit and use High Jump Kick with a Fighting Gem. OHKO.

    Water Stone

    Since Gen4, it's Defense.
  7. Well, if it's advice you want, all I can think of immediately would be to breed for additional moves. Cofagrigus with Spiritomb for Nasty Plot for extra damage and possibly Memento as a last resort. Oh, and Scrafty and Grumpig/Tauros/Girafarig for Zen Headbutt to cover Scrafty's weakness to Fighting types.

At the very leasst, get to level 31 for Acrobatics. If you want Crunch, you'll need level 43, though Bite is available way earlier. So it comes down to which Dark move you want.
  9. For Cradily, just get a Makuhita. It evolves at level 24. Hariyama has 144 base health, 120 base attack and access to Vital Throw (base 70 damage). OHKO. Give Stunky Screech and switch frequently? Spam Smokescreen and Sand Attack? Keep using Frogadier's Astonish to have resistance to Bug moves.? You really don't have a lot of options.
  10. In Spinel Town, the house just below the Pokemon Center with the blue roof teleports to Chrysolia Forrest after the whole Abra-PULSE thing. The guy in it wants a Stunfisk for something, couldn't bother to go all the way back.

    my team...

As for Crobat, go back to the Move Tutor, swap Poison Fang with Bite. You already have Cross Poison, another poison attack isn't necessary. Also, swap Confuse Ray for Screech. It's much more useful. Mudkip/Swampert could also be very useful, as it has been for me. You don't have any weaknesses to Grass, so it would be fine. Also, with Hammer Arm, Muddy Water, Earthquake and Sludge Wave, that's some great coverage. For Gyarados, get rid of Rain Dance. It boosts Water moves by 50%, but you only have Aqua Tail, so you might as well use Dragon Dance instead and get the extra speed as well. You could replace it with Thrash. Give Gallade Night Slash to counter it's weakness to Ghosts. Also, swap Electivire for Archen/Archeops. With Agility, Rock Slide, Acrobatics and U-Turn. Especially U-Turn, because it would really help with Dark/Psychic types. You seem to only have Gallade's Close Combat vs Dark types.
  12. That Clefable was terrible to fight against. Just kept healing itself and, for some reason, was able to tank 3+ Sludge Waves. It's what made me really look forward to getting Beldum. As for Recommendations, I would go for Luxray if the birds are the main problem. Also, Swampert learns Sludge Wave, so that can be a great help against Clefable.
  13. I've actually done several runs, because I started over every time I felt that I "could have done better". My starters were: Chikorita, Piplup, Froakie, Torchic, Mudkip and right now it's Mudkip again. Chikorita is actually my favourite starter, but of all of them Muskip was and is the best for me. Great attack stats and very good defenses and health. It has low speed, but with only one weakness, it's whatever. Also, Swampert has great coverage. Right now I'm using Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Muddy Water and Sludge Wave. Empoleon was second best in my experience, though it's coverage was rather bad.
  14. No, I just entered for the very first time and couldn't get through. Right outide of Tanzan West. Never been here before.
  15. Alright, I know i'm probably missing something terribly obvious, but I just entered South AV Forest and have no idea how to get through the really tall grass. What do I do?

If I may ask, what is the TPP Eatser egg?
  17. I'd recommend Yamask/Cofagrigus, especially if you can get a Spiritomb to level 37(43 if you want Memento too) and breed to have Cofagrigus learn Nasty Plot. It's an amazing tank, has great support moves, and 95 base Sp.Atk + Nasty Plot+Shadow Ball wrecks all but Dark types. Plus, it's ability overwrites it's foes if they contact Cofagrigus.
  18. You can still get it in 11. I only went there after gym #2, so I don't know the exact timing.
  19. I actually really like Breloom, but with all those weaknesses and it's Def stats, 70 speed won't do. Wouldn't really gain any new attack types either. Thanks for the comment! Yeah, that seems to be it. It's a shame I'll have to wait until the Wasteland to get Spiritomb, breeding with it will get me Nasty Plot. Anyways, this is done. Thank you everyone.
  20. Well, first off all Crobat can outspeed it even after a Dragon Dance. Next, I've got plenty of good attackers, so someone bulky like Magnezone or Cofagrigus is more what I want. I can deal damage, I need something that could also take it or deal before it takes(Arcanine(maybe + Agility)) Also Flare Blitz(120)STAB+110 Base Attack+Flame Plate, or Shadow Ball(80)STAB+95 Bae SP.ATK+Nasty Plot+ Ghost Plate would be pretty much the same, and I'm only really worried about Gyms, and only one that takes place outside is vs Kiki, so rain wouldn't help much. And useful TM in Reborn are very rare and more of them won't be here for a looong time. Thank you for the input. EDIT: Oh, and coverage does matter a lot, attack strength is changed drastically. Against a Ferrothorn, Aqua tail would do half damage (47,5), while Flare Blitz would do 4x damage (480). And I have used Gyarados before, I know the drill.
  21. I actually just beat him. Scrafty with Crunch and Zen Headbutt took out half of his team, including Chandelure after Crobat's Screech. I've already got a Dark-type in Scrafty and Zoroark has a worse moveset than those 3 IMO. Those 3 would all be Sp.Attackers anyways. In any case thank you for reading and giving your opinion.
  22. I'm tired of it, I guess. I really don't feel like using it. All of the above have better Speed (beside cofagrigus) or way better defense (beside Arcanine) for slightly less attack power (or slightly more for a Cofagrigus with Nasty Plot (breeding)). Plus, in terms of type coverage, I would only get Ice. Magnezone would provide Steel and Electric, Arcanine would provide Fire, Dragon and Thunder, while Cofagrigus would have only Ghost, but with Shadow Ball, Memetno, Nasty Plot and Curse/Will-o-Wisp, a great attacker with great bulk and good support skills.
  23. I can actually go back to E10 and evolve it in Shade's gym by having it level up there.
  24. They're on the 4th floor, just checked.
