  1. I am going to guess the ground type TM will be Bulldoze. Ame isnt nice enough to give u Earthquake... yet... We will have to go on a grand quest across the world for a TM like Earthquake.
  2. Same for me. If I want to play on a Older episode I just load that episode. I don't even need to meddle with my save file.
  3. If you plan on using Ambipom I suggest you breed a Aipom with a Purlion that knows fake out and pursuit so you can get those 2 good moves on your Ambipom. Also Run Away Aipom evolves into Technican Ambipom.
  4. I have a question for you... Why do you even want a Skill Link Aipom? What good is Skill Link on Ambipom? Technican is far better for Ambipom making its Fake Out/Double Hit and Pursuit stronger.
  5. I just want to ask why your Azumarill is so low level at that part of the game.
  6. Froakie is the best starter as long as you make sure it has Protean ability. Torchic is overrated and either destroys the other team or fails and personally I find that play style boring.
  7. Wow very nice progress already! I am very surprised how much you have done and how detailed tbh!
  8. Where do you get the image with the Alakazam and personality description that's in your signature. Seen a good few different ones in peoples signatures and want to see them all. Or if there is a test to see which one fits you would like to try that.
  9. Agreed that Lucario is extremely strong and got good move vaiety for pokemon Reborn however I also think it fine at this stage of the game. There are plenty of pokemon available just as strong as Lucario right now and some of them are even available pretty dang early (looking at Blaziken, Azumarll, Gyarados and Greninja there).
  10. Well Greninja can do fine in the first Gym thanks to Protean changing its type. I would also say Greninja is actually just as strong as Torchic and Chimchar especially since its easy to trick the AI with protean. In my Dark type mono Greninja was awesome for dealing with those fighting types and is what got me past Kiki. The opponent goes or fighting attack seems as its super effective and I turn to ghost get some damage of then go for a stronger move knowing it won't use a fighting type move seems as it now registers Greninja as a Ghost type. This may seem situation but you would be supposed how many times you can trick the games AI with Protean. If you don't know what pokemon you plan on using I suggest Greninja (with Protean) as this allows it to fit around your team becoming any type of pokemon your team needs most.
  11. Tbh thieving is the better way to get heart scales. Your better off saving the mining rocks for other items like evolution stones, shards, weather stones and other unique items.
  12. In my Dark type mono I managed to be victorious without losing a pokemon. Started the battle with Umbreon used Protect to waste a Focus Blast then switched to Spiritomb for the Focus Blast then back to Umbreon to take the Dark Pulse then protect to waste another Focus Blast then back to Spiritomb and so on until it was out of Focus Blasts. Once out of Focus Blasts it was safe to use toxic with Umbreon. I spammed Toxic until he was out of Full Heals and then just Protect/Switched Pokemon until it fainted. You could use a Perish Song pokemon or a Destiny Bond to make the battle even easier. I beat Garchomp in my Dark Mono so hilariously lol. Used Prankster Liepard to Sand Attack until Liepard fainted (managed 3 Sand Attacks). Then sent out Mightyena and kept Swaggering making its attack sky high so it would kill itself from confusion. Even if it got past the confusion is missed most of its attacks thanks to -3 accuracy. Anyways this is about Arceus I just found the way tackled Garchomp funny and Garchomp and Arceus are similar battles.
  13. But the goose chases are fun! Anyways theres not going to be a HM fly in Reborn. If I remember correctly Ame said it won't be in the game.
  14. Tbh I doubt having your pokemon EV trained will make Reborn easy for you especially if you are using pokemon like Pikachu.
  15. That's disappointing... I do think Deino should of been put near the start of the game. Not only is there extreme level requirements for it to evolve like the original poster pointed out but it is also stuck with the ability hustle which is even more of a burden IMO. It is even worth noting that Hydreigon isnt even in OU anymore and is a UU pokemon which I think says enough about how "OP" it is.
  16. Well I have done the whole game with Dark type Mono ( by "the whole game" I mean the episodes released so far). Strangely Noel was still my hardest gym battle in that mono type... even harder than facing Kiki and her fighting types.
  17. Well it was a PULSE. It explains why that area is a wasteland of rubbish (Team Meteor ).
  18. Gyarados is OP for sure... there is a reason everyone suggests it whenever someone asks for help with a battle. As others have said there is another really strong water type accessible early game. I am using a Azumarill in my current play though and it is my favourite non Bug type pokemon but I do think it needs moving to later game as it destroys everything when you first get it thanks to it evolving very early and learning a strong STAB Aqua tail very early (only level 21). Others might not agree with this but I am using Ambipom on my current play through and like Azumarill you also get access to it too early... Because of the easy access to Purlions with Fake Out and Pursuit you can easily breed those moves onto a Aipom straight away you can catch Aipoms then train it to lvl 33 (which isnt over the level cap at that time) to teach it Double Hit and evolve it. Ambipom Technican/STAB boosted Fake Out then Double Hit pretty much destroys anything at that point of the game and is still very strong near the end. I just think Azumarll needs to be replaced to a bit later game because its Huge Power/STAB Aqua Tail is way too strong at the part of the game you get Azumarll... Azumarill deffinately isnt overpowered later game and I would say is on the level of most other choices but its definitely too good early game.
  19. This ^ Only thing that makes sense.
  20. Yep it is pretty hard to find but if you know where you get Spiritomb it shouldn't be too hard to find.
  21. Hmm going to suggest some Pokemon which are doing awesome for me in my current playthrough. Azumarill This pokemon is a monster and best of all doesn't rely on TM like a lot of pokemon because TMs are lacking in Pokemon Reborn. Through just levelling up you can get Aqua Tail, Play Rough, Superpower, Double Edge and Rain Dance on your Azumarill. The only problem with Azumarill is two of its good competitive moves are egg moves (Aqua Jet and Belly Drum) and these egg moves are hard to get on Azumarill as the Pokemon required are very late game. Anyways although you will likely be lacking Aqua Jet and Belly Drum Azumarill is still a monster with just Aqua Tail, Play Rough and Superpower with either rain dance to boost Aqua Tail or Double Edge to hit Grass/Poison types that resist all the other attacks. Strength also isnt a bad choice for the fourth slot seems as it doesn't really need that 4th move slot. Ambipom This is another awesome pokemon that you can get relatively early and the only bad thing is it requires egg moves to be good. The good news is it's really easy to breed the moves on it you want. You catch Aipom headbutting trees near Corey's Gym. Just after Corey's Gym in the Lapis ward (Aqua Gang hideout) you can catch Purlions that already know Pusuit and Fake out meaning you can right away breed that with your Aipom (Really doesn't take long). Anyways Technician Ambipom with Fake Out, Pursuit, Double Hit and Rock Smash is actually pretty good and can kill a lot of pokemon by simply using Fake Out then Double Hit before they can even do anything. With these two you will have them fully evolved before vsing Shelly for your 3rd Badge and will have them with Strong moves! Azumarill learns 90 Power Aqua Tail really early and its just like lvl 33 for Aipom to learn double hit and evolve into Ambipom. If you don't know Double hit is a 35 power move that hits twice so really 70 power however with Technician both those hits are boosted making it even stronger! PS: Aipom with Run Away ability evolves into Ambipom with Technician .
  22. I wouldn't say it takes 1 hour to simply advance in the story because you make tons of progress in the story going on your quest for HM Strength! I mean you raid another team meteor factory and destroy a Muk Pulse (your first Pulse that's not Tangrowth ). You also rescue Cain and try to stop team meteor from using their Camerupt Pulse to destroy Apophyll (Is those few Kids lives more important than all of Apophyll?). Also not really important plot wise but you leave Reborn City for the first time and get to explore the Azurine Region (Azurine Island, Apophyll and Pyrous Mountain) and Byxbysion Waste land for your first time! Took you getting 4 Badges just to leave the big city! PS: If you explore the wasteland you will also find and get to destroy another Pulse that isnt Tangrowth! I think its awesome how Ame hid this secret Pulse in the wasteland that explains why the wasteland is the way it is. I also like how it shows team meteor are doing more than you realise to destroy Reborn. Please keep rewarding people that explore with little plot things like this Ame because its awesome.
