So I found this topic and fell in love. Two or so days later I'm back with an answer. I've searched hard and found good themes to represent me as a trainer. I could not pick one, but here is my trainer theme. Normal Battle: Champion Theme: And lastly

"Interesting" I use this word when I don't have any way to describe something or, more likely, when I'm too lazy to respond intelligently.
-
"Everyone is weird in their own way" - me trying to explain why it's normal for me to be weird.

Yes. Well it depends on the quality. If it's Dominos or Pizza Hut I would never. Yet in high school I always dipped my pizza in ketchup whether it had cheese filled crust or not. It just made sense. Now I'm more likely to dip my pizza in Ranch dressing.

Which stat would you specialize in if you were a stat trainer?
Froiky replied to TimTim's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I would train Pokemon for speed. If they move first they can set up and get off the first damage and likely the last as well. -
Make your own Pokemon moves and comment on others.

Purify Type: Psychic Attack: 60 Damage Type: Special Description: Is supper-effective against ghost types and does double damage against poisoned foes. Good for a possible psychic/poison type. -
So I've been trying desperately to finally beat one of the gym leaders of Reborn, without much luck (until now). It would be great to just enter the gym and battle and win by the skin of your teeth. However, with these gym leaders it comes down to the minute bits of strategy and more than a little bit of luck. Thus I've been searching for that one time where things begin to work my way so that I can finally beat them, which requires shutting down the game each time the odds don't tip in my favor. Endless attempts, a multitude of restarts, all for a preciously elusive outcome. This made me think about how this actually works inside the game. The player, you or me, exist outside of the world of the game. We are immune to the effects of the game shutting off. When the game is turned off all of the characters, Pokemon, even the environment simply disappears, but we don't. When the game is turned back on everything returns to existence, except in a state at a previous time to when it was shut down. Thus the player is privy to information that the other characters aren't and can change the outcome that was erased. From what I can see, shutting off the game is tantamount to the player traveling back in time. The protagonist is a time traveler. Do you agree? Has this changed how you look at Pokemon games? Any other views of this phenomenon? Any imaginative ideas to explain why the protagonist, rather than other characters, has this ability? Edit: I have noticed many people are pointing to Undertale. For those of us, like me, who haven't seen the end, or even very far into, of Undertale please refrain from spoilers. I'm thankful to those who have only pointed the similarity out and have not gone into depth.

Malware Bytes is indeed a good choice as well as Spyware (I don't know if that's the whole name, probably not). The later has multiple functions such a system scan and system immunization (on varying levels).

Umbreon. It's a dark type and can learn Psychic.

Favorite Normal, Bird, Cocoon, Pikachu and Pseudo legend tropes?
Froiky replied to zimvader42's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Normal: Rattata/Raticate. I recently replayed Heartgold version. We all know Joey and his top percentage Rattata. Well, I lost a Caterpie to him and vowed vengeance. I caught myself a Rattata to train up and beat Joey's. Sadly the Raticate (at the time) died to an Ecruteak gym trainer (in a nuzlocke). Since then Raticate will be my favourite normal mon. Bird: Taillow/Swellow. I grew up playing third gen and watching the Hoenn saga in the cartoon. From that Swellow has a place in my heart. I will note that Starraptor and Talonflame are cool, but Starraptor is almost too cool and I haven't played sixth gen yet. Cocoon: Caterpie/Metapod/Butterfree. Again due to a nuzlocke tragedy. In a randomized Emerald nuzlocke I had a Butterfree named Moon. Moon had Rock Slide, Drill Peck, Megahorn, and Confusion (moves were obviously randomized). Moon was a fragile beast that survived until after Mossdeep gym, dying over the water. I will miss him. Pikachu Clones: Emolga. It is the first really useful clone. All of the others are single type until Fairy was introduced. Electric/Flying is awesome. Pseudo: Garchomp and Metagross. No explanation needed, though, while we're on the subject, why is Flygon missing?- 40 replies

You weren't the only one Red_Chaos. I too thought of Microsoft at first.

What is/are your favourite inanimate object based pokemon?
Froiky replied to TimTim's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Klefki - a little fairy that steals your keys. What kinds of mischief could it get into? Chandelure - a ghost that provides its own spooky lighting. Also ghostly fire is a cool concept to imagine. Cryogonal - mostly because it is rare. I never really wanted one until I got one in Reborn. While it is fragile it is also unique. Bannette - the spirit of an abandoned toy. Evil Toy Story? However, I find the idea of your childhood friend gaining sentience and gong on adventures to be a very intriguing idea. -
Fan Favorites you're not quite as keen on?
Froiky replied to Monochrome_Complex's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Lucario When it came out it was great. It was cool looking, almost a super hero wearing a mask. It's typing was also interesting. A fighter with steel all over and likely within his body. Sounds like Wolverine to me. Where I began to lose interest was when it was everywhere. Aaron had one and gave you a Riolu egg. Cynthia had one also. A movie was made featuring it and multiple episodes of the anime had Riolu. It was everywhere. There was a time I tried breeding one with Sky Uppercut. Eventually I'd seen enough of it that it was common. Like Pikachu, Lucario got so much attention that it got boring. Also, with so much attention on Lucario other great Sinnoh Pokemon were over looked. I love Garchomp, which is a pseudo-legendary, and yet Lucario got more attention. I am now also a fan of Magmortar, which I didn't care for for a long time. All this to say that I don't find Lucario as special anymore. -

I have two ideas for moves. One off type: Type of user Physical, Single target Power: 200 PP: 5 Acc: 70 User cannot use damage dealing moves during its next turn. All in Type: Fighting Special, All Pokemon in battle (user included) Power: 250 PP: 5 Acc: 100 User puts all of its being into one attack hitting everyone on the field. The user's health is drained by this attack. If user is at full health it will be left with 1 hp. Both are overpowered so I tried to limit them extensively.

Hasn't anyone realized that Elite Four Agatha was a Poison user?
Froiky replied to aGoodCabinet's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
On the topic of false (or dual) type labelling I would like to point out Koga's gym. In gen 1 games most of the gym trainers have psychic types and those that actually have poison ones also have ground types. Koga is the only trainer in his gym that has only poison types. -
Pokemon off the top of my head. I would pick Halo or Kingdom Hearts, but unless I'm the hero life would be pretty normal except the chance of dying every day. In Pokemon everyone can be a Pokemon Trainer.
-
I just learned that bug and poison type attacks are less effective on ghost types. I haven't really used them much and the fact that ghost and dark types are super effective was all I needed to know. Go figure.

Is he gonna burn it down with the lemons? Also, for my current avatar I would think he'd say; "You don't want to see what's under my mask, it's horrifying" in a serious tone with a ghostly echo.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Around six years ago I also lost my mom. I remember the day she left I was basically a zombie. I didn't know what to do or say. I just checked out. For weeks after I would have people saying how sorry they were for my loss. Each time someone said that I felt worse, reopening a wound I was trying to ignore. It's been six years or so and, while looking back carefully I will still cry about it, I feel much better, looking to the present and future rather than the past. Everyone says that time will heal your wound, but only if you have support. The reason I got through it was due to my family and friends. Those people telling you that their sorry and that it'll be better, they're looking out for you. They want to help you and pushing them away will only hurt more. In my experience it was my dad that helped the most. He was devastated and we all had to heal together. Without my mother my dad and I grew closer. We eventually healed, but only with each other's help. Time may heal, but so does family. I hope my experience and words help you in your time of grief.

This might seem weird but I didn't care about shinies. Why? Because I figured I would never get one anyway. When I restarted a Leaf Green game I was just north of Vermilion when I found a shiny Poliwag. It was just a little lighter shade of blue. That was my first shiny. Not very impressive, but still my first. I've come to care about shinies a lot more when playing Rebon since they're so easy to get and much cooler than previous colourings.

Here's mine ww.16personalities.com/infp-personality. Introverted? Yes, all the way. Hence why I'm here in front of a computer talking to people I can't see. Intuitive? Sure. I do have an imagination. I still play Pokemon for a reason. It always has new possibilities. Feeling? Kinda low but ok. It shows a bit of balance. Prospecting? It gets boring if you go through life step by step. Assertive? Just relax. It'll be over soon.

So, Generation 7 (just to chat a bit about what ifs)
Froiky replied to leocain's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Dragon and Poison (or Steel) Eeveelutions to play with Sylveon, type combos that haven't come out yet (poison/steel, ice/steel, psychic/ghost, ect), a worthwhile enemy team (like Rocket or Galactic, and some good rivals that want to challenge you.
