  3. 7 I have to agree with Tacos on this one :T
  4. @K_H Fire type racism, and getting bullied by the kids? Sounds like a Slade x3. Not that that's bad but through my own expirence it's very lackluster. The way I thought about it with Slade being in Celedon City was Charizard. Trainers usually start with either a squrtel, Bulbasaur or a charmander. Since charmander evolves into Charizard which is a part flying type you could easily sweap the entire gym just with him. Going with this thought it would start to give the gym a bad rep for being a pushover giving the city itself an unfavorable rep. This led to the people slowly growing a dislike for fire types seeing as people I talk to refer to the Charizard family as a fire type. Plus it didn't help that on the route leading right up to it had patches of grass that had wild Growlithes and Vulpixes. Looking at my reasoning now, it was way to extreme and I see so many mistakes. I'll only mention the big ones, 1. A gym leader is supposed to work around their type's weaknesses and find a way around them to give their opponents a challenge. 2. What about Bulbasaur and squirtle? With just them 2/3 of the challengers would have a types disadvantage or they both resist each other. That 66% not even including the fact that other trainers might have different starters. 3. IMO it felt for the entire time I was RPing as Slade to have to refer to Celedon as having a fire type bias. Changing an entire city and its people to fit one PC made me feel a bit selfish too. Not saying yours is the same as Slade's and I'm not telling you can't do it kuz then I'd be hypocrite, but I do highly suggest against doing this from my own personal experience. TL'DR: I suggest you don't have a fire type bias
  5. 42 I had a mini heart attack this morning, but then I was accepted and I didn't die
  6. 38 I just have this feeling in my gut that I won't be accepted, idk why, it's just there... :T
  7. 36 Hoping my character is accepted, fingers-crossed
  8. Well, he won the Sinnoh league tournament but he didn't go onto fighting the elite 4 or the Champion. So he never actually fought them and decided to just leave the tournament there. Looking back it seems I forgot to mention that, and I'll edit it soon.. x3 But he's not as strong as an Elite 4 by any means, he was just strong enough to win the Sinnoh League Tournement.Edit: Azery beat me to the punch but it's basically what he said x3 Also I added in that specfications to my app.
  9. I was contemplating between Trainer or coordinator, but coordinator just felt like a big "meh" to me. It also fits Wolt better as a character.
  10. Name: Wolt Royce Age: 14 Program: Trainer Starting Side: Student Appearance: 5,7 with a somewhat pale skin. His hair is dyed an azure blue and he wears a black and white cap backwards over it. He has dark blue eyes and glasses with the frames only covering the top half of the lenses. Not fat, but not overly muscly either. Has a white shirt with a blue X that goes across his torsos. Over that Wolt has a button up half cloak. Blue jeans and tennis shoes that have black soles and a white base. A blue stripe goes across the outside of the shoe as well. Personality: Wolt is a bit overconfident and cocky, and hell tend to underestimate the people around him. He boasts about how great his dad is and how great hell become because of it. Strength is all he values in a pokemon, thinking that he only needs strong ones to will lead him to the top. Hes not a mean guy, he just may get of peoples nerves from time to time with his boasting Pokemon: Backstory: Born in Sinnoh, Snowpoint City, Wolt was the son to one of the winners of the Sinnoh League. Evan Royce, the name of his father, didnt much care for the responsibilities of being champion nor did he think him and were strong enough for it, so Evan declined the offer to fight the Elite 4 and the Champion. He then moved to Snowpoint City to spend the rest of his life with his soon to be wife he had engaged to on his journey. The days after, he worked at the nearby docs, loading and unloading cargo. Soon Wolt was born, and ever since he was a kid he dreamed to be as good as or even greater than his father, wanting to surpass where he walked away. When he was 13 he convinced he dad to let him have a pokemon, they caught one on the nearest route and it just so happened to be a Sneasle. His father gave him the nickname Inigo, named after one of his friends he had traveled with. Wolt didnt get the idea of giving a nickname for his pokemon, what was so wrong about just referring to him as Sneasle. This led to a problem with him and his father. His father disapproved of Wolts handling with his new Sneasle, he would never tell Wolt specifically what. This annoyed Wolt more then it shouldve, and his father forbid him for taking on the Sinnoh League. For the next half a year the two always bickered about whether or not to Wolt go on a journey. But then his mother found Ymora Academy, and suggested that in one year if Wolt had changed in the way his father wanted hed be able to go take the journey when he came of age. But if he didnt Wolt would have to head back to Snowpoint and help his father work at the docs and give up on the whole journey idea. Wolt accepted these terms and now he heads to Ymora to prove his father wrong and that he is able to handle a journey around Sinnoh. (Anything need changing?)
