Meanwhile back at the cart while everyone was still getting their introductions in the prison, "DAMMIT!" Baldur flamed as he punched the side of the wood cart indenting the plank inward a slight bit. "They say I'm just like them huh? It pisses me off that they're right." He kept slamming his fist against the while letting angered yells until he became winded. Then like a creeping dread a myriad of difference voices inched into his head. "It's your fault" "You're worthless" "You're useless" "Everyone will die" "Because of you" "Unreliable" "Barbaric" "Monster" "What a failure" Still furious with himself he reaches for his inner coat pocket to pull out a full canteen and chugs the entire contents of it within seconds. Slowly the voices fade away and he lets out a sigh, "And here I thought I was going to last the entire day without it." After that he noticed the voices of the group off in the distance. They must finally be leaving huh? Took them long enough. He wonders how many he's scared off. Probably made this mission a failure.

While it pained him to admit it, they were right. He was being quite hypocritical. He looks at his hands ashamed. But he couldn't help it, he was furious. What was he suppose to do? Baldur notices the small archer approach their leader and start yelling at the man. He heard Shin say his real name and was about to yell at him for doing something so careless, but what Mim is doing is unacceptable! He got between her and Kane and looked down upon her with scorn. "Listen here you ungrateful little brat! Our leader just helped save your damned arse and you start vomiting complaints at him? And it's about Fiscus no less? You should fucking learn to get the whole fucking story before flaming anger at someone! I'll have you know me and Pheonix both have tried to fix up that degenerate with little success. I'm honestly disgusted to be near him and you don't think I want him to get a new change of clothes, or mask, or a wash up or change up bloody everything about him!? Galen swiftly punctures the archer with his sword. Vivi heals Brinda for 11 HP! Brinda is maxed out! Nicolos follows up after Galen, getting in his own fiery attack on the archer from behind the swordsman. Nicolos uses Press the Assault on Galen As Juliett swoops down to the front of the house she notices something almost glimmer in a side room. Approaching the shimmer she finds herself in what seems to be bedroom for a kid in their early teens. It seems the sparkle in emanating from underneath a pile of rubble. Moving the broken planks of wood and stone she finds a chest surprisingly in good shape, well except for the lock. The rubble must have smashed the thing, luckily the box seems to still be openable. Inside she finds a few books that seem to teach the elementary use of anima magic. The ones at the top seem significantly worse for wear and nature has not been nice to them and most of the pages are ruined beyond legibility. There's a book in the middle of the pile that seems to have manage to be kept in prime condition even after how many years this house have been destroyed. It has a red cover with the image of a flame inscribed on the cover. It's wrapped in a white ribbon which ties into a bow in the center of the cover. There's a small note but all the writing has smeared off except for a couple of letters. "Ha$py %ir@hd?y" Juliett obtains a Fire tome! Baldur has seemed to have brought out his notepad all of a sudden and is vehimittly writing... no it seems more like drawing something. His glance keeps bouncing back and forth between Crimsom and his notepad as well, strangly enough. Baldur to D-4, heal Liz if needed

Brinda is able to effortlessly land her shot from a safe distance away. Owena finishes off the cursed with one final swing. It lies on the bridge still breathing yet unconscious. EXP: 102/100 Level up! Cheat Sheet:

Kane to G21 Crimson to D8

The cursed is put off balanced by Arissell's wind attack but takes minimal damage. Owena takes advantage of it's vulnerability and finishes off the feral cursed with one final hack from her ax. Brinda is brought back with 7 HP! [Enemy Phase] Fighter D moves to M12 and attacks Owena The ax wielder charges across the bridge and brings its ax down upon Owena. His attacks are too predictable, however, and it is dodged followed by the dragonborn's counter attack. Archer B moves to M13 and attacks Owena The not as feral cursed is able to deftly knock an arrow into its bow and sticks an arrow into the side of Owena'a upper arm. However, he is soon met with an ax to the face. Archer A moves to J8 and attacks Galen While Galen was too busy focusing on not killing the cursed. A bow wielder is able to pierce an arrow in his shoulder. Shaman C moves to I8 and attacks Nicolos The curse charges on all floors and jumps at Nicolos with dark infused claws and fangs. Nicolos is able to catch its claw with his flaming blade burning it's hands and he executes it in one swift strike. Fighter B moves to I7 and attacks Nicolos The ax wielder tries to avenge his fallen cursed but is taught a very important lesson about the weapon triangle. Baldur reluctantly moves forward, approaching what felt like a nuclear fallout zone. He notices the door key Lizaveta picked up. She's too slow to make use of it in any immediate fashion so it took it upon himself to... "borrow" it for the time being. Gently and within the blink of the eye he lifted the key off her, like he's had years of experience doing such before. "Alright, hold still for a moment." Trying to cover up his actions he points his staff at the small archer girl and unleashes a wave of white sparkles onto her. What wounds she had now close tight and look as good as new. "There, that should do it. Please try to be more careful in the future. I hate to see such uncouth wounds on people." Baldur moves to C11, pickpocket take the door key from Lizaveta, heal Mim Kane moves to M21

Juliett swoops down once more and skewers right through the cursed. The dark magic flowing through it's claw slowly begins to dissipate and it lies unmoving on the ground. EXP: 73/100 Cheat Sheet:

Juliett swoops down and attacks the feral one. Learning from last time, she is able to dodge it's dark claw. Galen follows up after Juliett, his leg attack knocking the cursed off balanced and it stumbles around. Nicolos finishes off the spear wielding curse with one overhead slash. He turns to the pegasus rider behind him with determination and conviction. "Come on Juliett! I know you can finish him off! Give it everything you got!" Nicolos uses Press the Assault on Juliett! Owena launches her ax at the cursed creature, It falls off the bride in defeat. Galen Holds [Enemy Phase] Shaman D attacks Owena The feral cursed once again tries to upchuck a blast of dark magic at the group. However, it takes too long and is too slow to work a second time as Owena is easily able to dodge it and counter attack. Shaman B to K8 and attacks Arissell The cursed claw glows with dark energy as it walks past Nicolos launches 3 blades of dark magic towards the half-fae. Arissell hides behind the trunk of a tree however, and it's hurt. Though he trips on a root trying to make a counter attack and launches his wind magic right above the cursed Soldier B to I7 and attacks Nicolos The cursed charges forward and Nicolos prepares to dodge and counter. Attacks from both sides barely hit their mark. Archer A to H7 and attacks Nicolos As Nicolos is busy dealing with the spearman, a cursed weilding a bow approaches and crudely knocks an arrow into it. It manages to fly short and pierces the wooden bridge. The butler's gaze turns to the mage with disgust. Whatever, he'll show him up (once he promotes) someday. For now he should go back to making sure everyone is alright. Going back to the swordswoman, he should should make sure she's alright as well. "Please hold still, this should only be a second." Baldur speaks gently while he spins his staff around in front of him, shower the Reiko in lively sparkles and he makes sure all her wounds close up properly. "Alright, that should do it! You're all good to go now, just please be more careful in the future. I don't want to see you collapse from careless wounds, alright?" With that he bows to the lady with a smile. Baldur wanted to feel sorry for Shin but he did sneak up on the lady (as well as other things that generally urk the butler). He should just ignore it to avoid any more confrontation. Yea, that's what he'll go with. However, he should just return to fixing up the injured. His vision moves towards... Lizaveta. Was this really necessary at the moment? He could always heal the swordswoman first, even if her aliment is still a mystery. No, Kane would get angry if Liz were to get seriously injured. "Tch..." He made his way up to the brat as slow as he could to somehow delay the inevitable. His glare was razor sharp and he tried to keep his line of sight from being sullied as much as possible by looking at her minimally. "Oh, please forgive me for what I'm about to do..." He half-haphazardly flicked his left wrist and the healing sparkles unceremoniously drooped onto her. The entire time his face was reading "I really wish I wasn't here right now". He didn't even check to make sure he got everything. Whatever he did was more than enough. More than she deserved. Afterwards he quickly started moving away to end this as quickly as possible.
