Go back on route 1 and then head all the way west (Left). Once you reach a research lab head south (Down) until you find the city gate. Enter the area inside it and you'll find them.

Nature doesn't affect happiness growth, I'd suggest just leveling him up and continuing on. there's a lot of running around in the story so you'd get many points from that.

Oddish/Gloom/Vileplume I always though that these pokemon weren't worth the time to train because they're so slow. But when I caught one in reborn it was really useful against florenia. it resists grass by 4 being Grass poison as well as learning Acid and the powders. Later on it gets toxic and giga drain as well as being able to learn sludge wave from a TM.

Well, Leveling up is a quick way as well as using vitamins/wings. Walking around also gives happiness. (128 step per chance to get a point)

Slade watched as Danielle went from happy to angry in a split second, though he wasn't that surprised. If someone had make fun of one of his pokemon he'd probably get angry as well. During her yelling at Evan, he heard something about an incident and he never knew of this before hand. 'What did Evan do to make her lash out like that? For now I'll think I'll just watch and stop them when it gets too violent.' Slade thought to himself as the mood of the room began to change. -
