  1. "Well, if it's slime we need we did just hear of a large aggressive slime in the forest. I'm sure we could harvest fuel from that beast. Besides, sounds like fun to beat it to a pulp." Toshiro said smashing his right fist into his left palm, "Plus, as a bonus it'll make the forest that much safer for everyone else as well as for the bus."
  2. "If you're worried about the river side leave that to me. If you couldn't tell from the giant fin on my head or these scales fighting in water is second-nature for me!" He pointed his thumb towards himself and gave a big smile. One could've sworn they saw his teeth sparkle for a moment. "Also, if you all can gather the metal I can help forage weaponry and armor for our group as well as villagers. If not, I'll gladly lend my hands constructing the wall. Though, those powerful monsters may have resources that we can use to help our defenses. I say we send some people to go see if they can gather some more resources eventually."
  3. Toshiro just chuckled listening in on how the conversation progressed. That artists has some sass to her it seems. He really couldn't think of anything more productive to ask the lady. Most of the important stuff he could think of has already been asked. Though there was one thing that has been on his mind for a while now. He stopped his laughing and looked towards the flower maiden, "Say, you know the creatures around here right? Any strong ones in-particular that are posing a threat to the village that could use some pest control? In other words, are there any strong beasts out there worth fighting that you know of?"
  4. After those last few words the reality of this situation finally sunk into the spy. Taking a closer look at Randel he notices all the wounds on the man. It felt like a massive ball of black gunk formed into his throat. It made it hard to swallow, but when he did he could feel part of it immediately transition to his gut. A bulky of orb of shadowy despair now looms heavily within him. "No! Not again! This... this can't be happening!" The boy grit his teeth as memories of him and Randel came flooding back, good and bad alike. Whether it be them playing rounds of poker laughing, his teasing when Belros was just a lad and was drinking milk out of a mug instead of booze, working to together on missions, even his scolding seemed like a pleasant memory at this point. Belros had always admired the man, he was like a second father to him. He didn't know if Randel felt the same about him or the rest of the folks in the guild, but right now that man is about to have his last moments on earth. Belros clenched his fist, he wanted to punch the geezer for leaving him like this but he couldn't muster the will to do it. It would be wrong to end it like that. No not just wrong, it would be shameful even. He loosened his grip and forced the biggest smile he could, "H-heh, alright then Randel. Consider this my... no, the True Silver Raven's last mission. The contract, take Rico's life. And our reward, the restoration of our honor as well as enacting our vengeance!" The man spoke holding back his tears, even if a few drops started squeezing themselves out hanging on the sides of eyes.
  5. Even with this new ominous figure Lyle still stayed fearless. He couldn't yield, not while Roland is still out there. He whipped his reins, him and Stella charging forward to finish off the swordsman. While doing so he yelled vigorously to no foe in particular, "Tell me, where is Sir Roland! Where is he!" Move to I8 and attack stab Initiate 6, Canto back to I5
  6. "No, splitting up further would be a foolish idea. From my experience you always want someone watching your back and if those thugs are still lurking in the forest they'll just pick us off one by one. I say we search this shrine together. Three versus five is a lot better than one versus six." Aster spoke turning head towards Kyan, arms crossed.
  7. "Heh, to hell with hiding or running away..." Belros spoke, his smirk resurfacing on his face. "I've done enough running in these past couple of months to last me a life time. As soon as I see that scumbag Rico's face, there will be no hesitation. I'll smash his face into the ground until there's nothing left... or at least I'll try to anyways. Whether it'll be my face that eats dirt instead, that's yet to be seen... heh heh heh..."
  8. Seeing as his glance around wasn't very fruitful, Sigmund decides that it's best if he first returns the supplies to the ship before anything else. Everyone else seems like they're handling things well enough, or will last long enough until he comes back with some of his other crew mates in toe. The shipwright carries all of supplies in his left arm while keep his axe hand ready for any surprise trash attacks. Whether it be from actual trash or the trash people who associate with the perpetrator. Make a supply drop at the ship.
  9. "I guess you could say I like taking walks in the forest," Aster lied, not keen on giving the kid the real reason he was here. While he may just be another youngster, during his time before becoming a dog of the law he learned to not be as easily trusting. "Anyways, you're about fifteen minutes from the exit of this forest." The boy took his right hand from his pocket to gesture his thumb behind him. He was about to continue walking forwards before he considered asking the kid some questions, "Actually, since you just walked through here, got any suggestions of neat places to go? Anything that stood out on your way over here?"
  10. "Oh great, just when you think a place like this can't become more of a mess." Sigmund sighs with a great amount of annoyance. He places his supplies on the ground before grabbing out his axe. He quickly replaces it onto his metal arm then proceeds to crack his neck. "Alright where's the ingrate who's causing all this hiding?" He mutters to himself examining the area looking for the source of the attack. Look for any signs where the attacks maybe coming from
  11. [Enemy Phase] Recruit C moves to N5 and attacks Tekeshi The Lancer charges forwards towards Tekeshi getting a hardy jab into the boy but not before the swordsman gave him two slashes in the chest. Initiate F moves to F9 Journeyman E moves to F10 Reinforcements appear! [Ally Phase] Zentilin moves to M6 and attacks Recruit C with Flux Seeing the weakened guard ahead of him, Zentilin moves forward sending a blast of black magic which expanded and engulfed his foe. After a few moments the magic dissapated and the cold corpse of the man lied there. Prisoner A Oliver moves to L3 Prisoner B Kiran moves to L5 [Player Phase] Cheat Sheet:
  12. "Uhhhh... hi." Aster says with a hint of distaste. The boy was strange and a bit too enthusiastic for his taste. The kid was probably just another trainer trying to get all the gym badges he's probably not too much of a threat. Even still he kept vigilant, there was a robbery here not too long ago after all. "Judging by the way you came from you must be heading towards Goldenrod, right?" He asked putting his hands in his pockets.
  13. Sigmund was polishing his axe with the plate of his food beside him. It was more than half way eaten, probably a bite or two remained. His eye annoyingly twitched at the sound of sparring on the ship, "If the captain doesn't get annoyed I sure as hell will. 'Treat your ship with love and respect and she'll take you to the ends of the earth' That's what my mentor always said. I don't care if this ship isn't the biggest or the most spectacular, she's our vessel. So, please do keep any and all fighting land."
  14. "Honestly... no." Belros spoke hesitant to admit it. He was almost tempted to lie but he couldn't bring himself to do it especially now, "I feel like I'd be more useful hiding behind this rate." His eyes drifted towards the ground in shame of his ineptitude.
  15. Belros groggily wakes up once more. The feeling of failure permeates his body. Not only did he did he fall the Randel once, but twice. Was this his fate, to be a constant failure when it matters most? Forcing the people around him to drag his worthless and battered body everywhere like some dead weight. He looks around to see comrades new and old injured or dead around him. If only he could accomplish the things that mattered maybe all of this would never have happened, but no. The reality is, all he has been up to this point was a thorn in people's side. The spy meekly coughs a bit, obviously what effort he gave was beyond his best. He looks up at the beaten Randel, "Y-yea boss, I'm wide awake."
  16. He was with another person, things just keep getting fishier by the second. Aster ponders to himself before looking towards Kayn, "Agreed," The boy says nodding, before taking out the dusk ball attached to his belt and throwing it out. Out popped Frostbite with veils of shadow along with him, "Everyone keep an eye out for any suspicious areas, as well as have your pokemon out. Not only for wild pokemon but for other unwanted guests who may be lurking in the area." With that little shtick out of the way he walks into the Forrest beckoning the group to follow him. However both him and Frost made sure to keep an eye out for any evidence along the path.
  17. Belros couldn't stop the darkness from enveloping him. After just one shot he lacked to energy to get up. No matter how much he willed his body would not respond and the darkness would not go away. But then light resurfaced and Belros could see a blurry figure above him who appeared to be applying medicine to save the spy. Once his vision was no longer a blurry mess he could recognize that the figure was Madante. Now he was finally able to command his body once more. He slowly pulled himself up, grabbing his dagger which was lying in the dirt. "Thanks Madante," Belros spoke to his commander, before turning back towards Randel, "I am far from done yet!" The spy then proceeded to charge once again towards Randel, hoping to finish this once and for all. Attack Randel with Parrying Knife
  18. "Woah woah woah, easy there. All I'm wondering is what exactly you are protecting this stand from. If there's some strong pokemon in the forest I'd just like to know some of the highlights." Aster said waving his arms from side to side by his face.
  19. "Alright, fine. I guess there really is no way around this." The spy let out a sigh drawing out his knife. There was no running away now. No second choice. No alternative. Just him, his new commander and his former boss. Randel was right though, if he isn't able to fight now how will he be able to fight when everything is on the line. His shaking slowly reduced in amplitude, and he pointed the small blade towards the bearded man, "No more stalling, lets get this over with!" With that he spun the knife in his hand having the blade now pointing towards the ground. This will end in one of two ways and all he needs to do is make sure that ending is in his favor. It's a simple as that. He rushed forward as fast as he could occasionally dashing side to side to keep his approach from being predictable before coming in for his strike. Move to D12 and attack Randel with the Parrying Knife
  20. "Oh, so that's what this is." Belors paused, taking in a deep breath then exhaling, "I mean this is one way to test a guy, and I guess any further talking will just fall of deaf ears. Even still, are you sure you want to go through with this? I would think if we worked together to defeat Rico rather than fighting each other we'd have better chances. Also don't you think it's a bit uncalled for to send others in to die for this test of yours and to involve everyone else in my group as well?"
  21. Lyle patted Stella on the side of her neck and consoled her trying to calm her down. Whatever vile magic he used certainly gets the job done. He doubts many of them could take more than one of those blasts. He gripped his lance, not sure if he should engage in his currrnt state before a rush of soothing energy bathed him and his steed. It seems Leo had healed his wounds once again. With this rejuvenation he really had no reason not to give the shaman a piece of his mind, "Heh, gladly!" The rider spoke nodding his head towards Leo and charging forward lance ready to strike. Move to K8 and attack the Shaman, canto back to J6
  22. Belros rubbed his chin and starred off as he responded to Randel's question trying to avoid eye contact, "Well, I assume I'll eventually fight Rico or maybe the head of that group that's causing all of this."
  23. Whatever confidence Belros had before exponentially faded away with every step he took making his way over to Randel. It got to the point where he was shaking in his boots just standing in-front of the man. Try as he might, he couldn't stop his body from shaking like he was naked in a frozen tundra. A wave of panic thoughts rushed through his mind as he starred blank. All along the lines of: 'Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit!' or 'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!' or even the classic 'I'm so screwed right now'. It wasn't until Madante's wish of luck dragged the spy out of his thoughts. He looked around from side to side before right back at Randel. Well, I guess now's a good a as any to attempt to convince the man to spare the spy try a more diplomatic way of ending things. He pointed at his former leader chest out, shoulders back and head held high, "A-alright R-r-randel, me and you b-both know how this is going to end! Y-you should j-just give up and let our group pass through! There has b-b-been enough b-b-b-blood shed today, w-why not end it right here and n-now!" The boy's voice was more shaky than a man on stilts during an earthquake and it was odious he was trying way to hard to sound smug and intimidating.
