Apparently he's more upset with them not liking his jokes rather than the fact that Rayne had no idea who he was. It sent a chill down his spine to see the man sliced to dust... wait... nope, I don't think there's even dust left. All Bel knows is that the further away he is from this lady's bad side, the better. Goddess knows he was not built to deal with magic, whether it be using it or taking blasts of it to the face. "Ah! Oh yes, the other's stuff, of course." Jade spins out his revolver loading it with basic bullets. "Alright then, time for this cowboy to show em' what for!" The man spoke with conviction. After unlocking the door, Belros noticed the sounds of footsteps emanating from the room. Then from around the corner a soldier charged forward with a javelin in hand. He attempted to skewer the thief and threw the pole straight towards him. However, his attack was too predictable and slow making easy for Belros the sidestep out of the way.

"I-I see. Excuse me for my rashness." Well that was more than a little embarrassing. Maybe he's been wanting this more than he knew. I suppose he'll just have to wait. Storming into a women's bathhouse probably isn't the smartest idea. "Yea... disrupting her now would not be wise and I suppose the best time to ask would be after the meeting if funding is the issue." He paused for a moment. Meredith was the one soaked in blood when he first met up with the group. It might be tough trying to talk to her after that first impression. Let's just hope it'll go better then he expects. Not only would he be able to get a bit of vengeance, he'll also be able help atone for his past sins.

"Well I would be lying if I said the thought hadn't crossed my mind more than once. A lot of people in Caellim, myself included, have suffered because of his actions. Honestly, I would love for his neck to meet with the blade of my axe but I also value my life and don't want to be throwing it away. Mercer responded thinking back to his reaction after getting a clear view of Meredith. At first he couldn't make her out that well through the dusty storm, but once he came closer he noticed her blood soaked armor. Needless to say first impressions on both sides weren't the greatest. "I'm more impressed as to how you pushed the army to set up check points on your way over here. Just what did you all do to gather their attention like that? Forgive me for saying, but all of you don't really seem to pose much of a threat. You are all able fighters I'm not questioning that, but I doubt a group of your size poses that much threat to a whole kingdom. Maybe if these talks you came here for go well, then sure you got the backing of the Caelum army. However, you all must have done something to get their attention beforehand."

"Back when I found you and everyone else within the sandstorm you were eerily quick to raise the notion of my death. I know my introduction may not have been the most... tactful, but even so, jumping so far as to instantly place me as an enemy seems a bit rash don't you think? I was hoping you could answer what pushed you to do so?"

After getting smacked in face by multiple keys, Belros notices that he still has Emilee's staffs. He should probably hand them back sooner rather than later. "Hey Emliee, I've got something for ya!" The spy said running up to the priest, the bag over his shoulder jangling as he approached. "I think you'll be happy to have these back." He took out the rods and handed them over. He was on his way back to the city and he noticed people in need of direction. Oh well. Honestly, he was kinda looking forward to it. He hasn't been to a party in years so it'd be nice to partake in one once more.
