[Enemy Phase] Myrmidon B moves J10 and attacks Kayde The swordsman charges forward but is parried and gets striked twice with Kayde's sword Myrmidon A moves K9 and attacks Kayde The second man charges forward and strikes Kayde while he's distracted but Kayde returns the favor by taking him down Mage B moves to K8 and attacks Kayde The Mage, however, gets the jump on Kayde. Blasting him with fire leaving him covered in soot on the ground. KAYDE IS DOWNED Fighter D moves to N10 Archer C moves to L1 Hero A moves to L2 Archer D moves to M2 Mercenary C moves to N16 Myrmidon C moves to M17 Mage E moves to N17 [Ally Phase] "What did I just say about staying alive?" Zentilin spoke unamused to the charred swordsman on the ground. "Ugh, fine. I guess we'll have to save your sorry ass too. I almost feel like a babysitter right now." Zentilin moves to K9 and attacks Mage B with the Parrying Knife Zentilin is able to kill the mage but not without taking a blast of fire to the face. "Why did I join? Well, isn't it natural to want to help people? Besides, I was told to come here by..." Before she could finish her sentence she was cut off by the sound of fire blasts. "Oh no! Kayde's in trouble! We must help him quickly!" Alunda moves to K11 and attacks Mrymidon B with Photon Alunda launches a ball of condensed light energy the launches the bandit onto the ground. Turn 7 [Player Phase] Cheat Sheet:
  2. "Ah! Damn!" Belros spoke angrily as he felt the shock of the door. "This lock has some magical protection around it. I don't believe mere picks can open it up. I think we should go tell the captain about this. If things weren't suspicious before, they are now."
  3. "Alright then, I'll take that as yes. Now this'll only take a second. Just keep watch while I get this lock open would ya?" Belros spoke before getting to work on opening the lock. Open the door with the lockpick
  4. As Belros returned he noticed that Cadence had came back as well. "No it didn't and it seems my intuition wasn't far off mark." Belros responded before pulling out his lockpick. "However, fortunately for us, a life of thievery has it's perks. A simple lock is not barrier for one such as myself! Heh heh heh!" Belros spoke cheerfully almost forgetting what the women had said to him moments before. "I'm heading in, however, I must ask, are do you want to follow? Lockpicking isn't exactly legal and if our assumptions are wrong it won't look good on us or the royal guard. I'm not too worried though, I've already dabbled in the not so legal. You, however, I am not sure of and I don't want to get you involved in anything... messy, without your consent. So, you coming with me or staying behind?"
  5. Well isn't this disappointing, which this many people in the bar he doubts the bar tender will know anything worthwhile. Besides, with such few people around it'd be a lot easier to be recognized. He left the bar thinking of what to do next. His mind then went to the man he bumped into when he left. Now that he thinks about it, he was pretty suspicious. Maybe he should go look into it. With nothing else to do he went back to where he first saw the man, maybe he can track him from there. Go back to the scene
  6. Belros just stood there in silence. He couldn't say anything back because he knew it was all true. However, it's not like he wanted to place everyone in danger. Nor did he want to piss everyone off. But it seems he's too adept at both for his own good. Maybe if he was just a bit more competent, none of this would have happened. Though there's nothing he can do about it now. I guess he should be thinking of ways to make up for it. Though that'll be a lot tougher then it sounds. After Cadence's spiel, Belros left for the local tavern. Hopefully things will end better than last time. Along the way, though, he wondered if he should even be in this army. So far he's only endangered everyone or pissed them off. Maybe it'd be best if he just left, would anyone notice? Would anyone care? I guess time will tell what will happen. Go to the Tarven/Bar and hopefully try to not get into a fight.
  7. "Hmmmm.... I suppose that's somewhat useful. Anyhow, pleasure doing business." He said to the shop owner disappointingly before Cadence came up to them. Great, the one time he'd rather be left alone people start coming. Why, was she even down here in the first place? To buy some poison? Belros never took her for the poison type. "Why does my 'lazy disguise', as you put it, concern you? Look, now is not the time nor place to be asking questions. I suggest you do what you came here to do and leave. If not for me, then for yourself."
  8. Belros takes a look at his wares, there was really only one thing that caught his eye. Not that that is a bad thing, just as long as he's able to find something of value it's worth it. "I'll give you 800 for the poison knife, deal?" The hooded spy asked the shop owner obviously placing more then 800 on the table. 1000 to be exact. "Also, what's the word on the street? Anything... interesting or more particular, about the Silver Raven?" Buy the Poison Knife and gather information
  9. After handing off the weapons to Voy Con, Belros left to look find a store more accustom to to what he's looking for. More specifically one selling knifes, poisons, and lockpicks. He left without saying a word as to not draw attention to himself, whether it be from his comrades or anyone nearby. Don't want anyone following him around.
  10. Seeing Voy Con here, now was a perfect time for dropping of the scimitar. "Sorry for interrupting," Belros spoke up trying to get the attention of Voy Con. He held out his scimitar for him. "I have a blade I wish to store, mind taking it?" He pondered for a moment before also taking his knives out as well. "Also, I'd like to store these knives. I have something else I want to get in town." Store Scimitar and Iron Knife in the convoy
  11. While still inside the ship Belros let out an annoyed sighed. "Well... here we are..." He put up his hood and face mask before even taking a glance outside. Walking out to the group he'll make his only talk with them before heading off to do some info gathering. He walked over to Anna, 1500 vespers in a bag and spoke. "I'll take the Cutlass. I assume this will sufficient." He held out the bag out to her. He'll have have to send his scimitar to Voy Con but oh well. Buy the Cutlass for 1500 and send the Scimitar to the convoy
  12. Karlos throws a Javelin at the swordsman hitting him on the shoulder Cheat Sheet:
  13. [Enemy Phase] "Oi, little brat! You think you can just shoot me and get away with it?!?! Come on boys, lets show this girl what happens when you mess with us!" The axeman speaks before whistling which gets the others attneion Fighter E moves to K10 and attacks Lillie The axeman slams the blunt end of the axe into Lillie's gut. Myrmidon B moves to K8 and attacks Lillie The swordsmen rushes behind the archer women slamming the hilt of his sword into her back. Knight E moves to L9 and attacks Lillie The knight then clunky marches over and grabs Lillie, headbutting her in the face with his metal helmet. After that blow Lillie falls to the ground wounded. "Heh, A girl like you could fetch a mighty fine price. Be thankful we didn't just kill you." The armored man chuckles creepily. Lillie is down! Myrmidon A moves to L8 Mage B moves to L6 Fighter D moves to S10 Knight C moves to L15 and attacks Alunda The knight moves forward throwing a javelin straight at Alunda. However, Karlos jumped in-front of the spear, protecting Alunda. The magic user then retaliates with a blast from her thani tome. This easily defeats the knight, like cutting through warm butter. [Ally Phase] "Thanks for the help Karlos. Though you should be more careful, that could've gone way worse than it did." Alunda spoke grateful for his assistance. She look back to see to see that Lillie had been swarmed by these bandits. "Oh no! We have to save her, quickly!" She the rushed back to help her ally before it was too late. Alunda moves to L11 and attacks Knight E with Thani The Thani blast was more than capable of bring down that knight like it did with many others. Zentilin made his way forward before stopping to talk to the swordsman. His lust for fighting the man up north was really starting to bug him so he decided to speak his mind. "Hey, Kyle, or whatever your name is, I don't really care. I'd focus more on staying alive and taking out their leader if I were you. If we don't there'll be more then just a bloody mess around here. Plus your whole "battle lust" thing is going on the verge of creepy." He spoke bluntly before noticing Lillie's current situation. "Ugh, speaking of trying to stay alive. Did she really think that'd end well?" He lets out an annoyed sigh, "Guess we'll need to clean up this mess too, greeeaaat." He takes out his knife and rushes towards the the closest bandit to him to strike him down. Zentilin moves to K11 and attack the Fighter E with the Parrying knife The axeman, already injured from the arrows logged in him, is unable to stop the rouge from taking him out. [Turn 6] [Player Phase] Cheat Sheet:

  17. "Ah I see." Belros started to scratch the back of his head. "Actually, come to think of it, I never really had any formal trainer. Well, at least in terms of sword play or archery for matter. I guess you could say I got a bit of training from the guild but it was mainly things like lockpicking, ambushing, and information gathering. At least for my group combat training was second priority." "Though now I wish I put more priority on it. Maybe if I wasn't so inept a lot of things wouldn't have happened. Heh, oh well..." He let out a sigh before grabbing his glass once more taking a larger than normal sip from it.
  18. "Captain Valtios, huh? Can't say I heard of him. But to be trained by the top captain must've been quite an honor. Though what exactly did this Captain Valtios do to earn such a title? Was he a War hero or did he have royal connections?" Belros sets his glass down, still having some wine left inside. He'd best limit his drinking for now. Don't want to be walking around all tipsy, especially in Z'ark.
  19. "N-no, that's alright. We all have things we... don't wish to talk about... I'm sorry for prying." Belros took notice of Madante's drinking. He's speeding up and if he doesn't change the subject soon, they may have another Emilee on their hands. "Changing subjects, who taught you how to use the sword? Or were you by chance self taught? I'm a bit curious seeing as one blow from you knocked me onto the ground." He chuckled a bit before taking a sip from his glass.
  20. "Family, huh? I assume it was to get away from them. Seeing as you said they'd get a bit... "wild" whenever they drink too much." He took a sip from his glass before continuing. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly happened with you and your family to drive you into joining the royal guard? Must've been something major for you to want to leave that bad."
  21. "Then lets head down, hopefully the others haven't already wasted themselves." Belros spoke before heading down into the ship. He grabbed a bottle and two glasses, trying to ignore Emilee as she seemed to have already chugged down nearly two bottles. That can't be healthy nor safe. He set the glasses on an empty table with two seats, pops open the bottle and fills both of the glasses. He set the open bottle onto the table and sits down. Holding his glass in his hand he asks his commanding officer, "Alright Madante, you already know a bit about me so lets even things up. Why did you join the royal guard and how did you become the officer on this mission of ours?"
  22. "It's probably Rico's doing, he's plotting something and he's using the people in the guild as pawns." "Also, I'm way ahead of you on information gathering but you can do you're own research as well." He was a bit hesitant on the last part but oh well. He can't stop them from looking into things while they're there so might as well let it happen naturally. "Anyways, lets relax while can. I myself want to try at least a glass of that wine and you should come too. But if you'd rather not that's fine, though I'll be very sad if you didn't join me for at least a glass."
  23. "Look, we're heading to Z'ark right? My reputation there isn't the best, mainly because that's where the Silver Raven's main base is located. Seeing as how the guild tried to have me killed last time we met things may get worse if I'm seen affiliating with all you guys. So, I was thinking about separating myself from the group for a bit, or at least I don't want the others getting hurt because of me. I've already made some of them anger, and I wouldn't be surprised if most of them are suspicious of me because of my background. I'd feel guilt beyond measure if something did happen. I wanted to tell you this because you're the commander and the person I trust the most out of anyone here. I'll make sure to stay with the group but keeping my distance while we're here maybe best for everyone." He made sure to speak soft enough for Madante to hear clearly while making sure no one else was eavesdropping.
  24. "Actually now that I think about it I have something I need to tell you seeing as you are the commanding officer and all..." He glanced around checking to see if anyone's around, just in case. "Preferably I want this to be private, so could you keep what I'm about to tell you between us?"
