    "Ey, both of you your late, oh and I see you brought a friend with you Danielle. Here to train I'm guessing well I'm Slade and the guy over there is Jacob" Slade said tipping his hat to the newly met sparring partner. "Me and Flare over here are trying to learn a new move before the great forest excursion, though its not going too well. The is Flame Burst though it's harder then I thought. We get the projectile out but it either bursts too early or doesn't burst at all." Then Slade noticed what Jacob was doing with his training and had an idea, "Jacob, do you mind if Flare can practice his new move with Teo like you're doing with Chalchi, It would be good for both of us." Slade asked Jacob as he let out his hand to the new face Danielle brought with her and had a big smile on his face.

    Slade was the first one to the Field, he came earlier this, about half to a full hour early this time. This time he has some thing he wants to try. "Flare, I don't think ember will cut it in the forest, last time we went in there Devin had to save us from those Trevenant, particularly the white one. So if we are going to stand a little even a little sliver of a chance we need to power up your ember, or at least try using a new more powerful ranged attack. I was looking in my pokedex during class about fire type moves and found this one." Slade showed Flare the move, it was Flame Burst. "See it's basically just tons of embers clumped together then upon impact the disband, I though we could spend these couple of extra minuets trying Flame Burst. Try it on that rock, it's not close to anything flammable so when it does happen it start a fire. Ok, so just build up the embers in our body then..." They shot "Flame Bursts" at the rock though it usually came out as embers or bursted before it hit the rock. They tried this for a good 45 mins with breaks here and there with small progress, Also leaving the top of the rock scorched black. ((Flare does not know the move, he hasn't mastered it yet so it will not be in his move set in battle until he masters it.))

    Slade was in his room packing and mumbling to himself, "Potions, check. All five types of heals, check. Pokeballs, check. Greatball, check. Ok now that I've got all the supplies I need for any bad situation, though my BP maybe bad, let me check." He checked and it said 75. "Man, who knew greatballs were so expensive, good thing I only got one, and going from 150 BP to 75 isn't that bad right? (He earned 50BP somewhere between the six weeks) I know exactly which pokemon to catch aian't that right guys?" Growlithe yipped and TX was still a party poopper as usual. "Now for clothes, I'll just bring one extra set of clothes that should be fine. Oh have to remember about the food we chose but I'll leave it in the fridge for now. Ok Flare lets go find Jacob and Danielle, there's training to be done! Ya know, 101 It'd be good if you trained with us instead of doing just battles all the time. Heck you might even learn a new move like Flare has." Slade said trying to convince the floating loner into trying to train but he just went back into his pokeball. Slade let out a sigh of disappointment as he saw 101 glow red. "Suit yourself, come on Flare let's go to the usual spot." They left their packed backpack and headed to the usual spot the three trained together.

    Slade regaining his bearings after the electric shock from TX. 'Should've seen that one coming.' he though to himself. Then he noticed Danielle reach her hand out to Slade to help him. He never actually met a girl that would even speak to hi let alone help him up. He grabbed her hand and said, "Thanks." He got back into his seat and said, "This little loner here is TX 101 ζ, or TX, or 101, or ζ depending on your mood of names. He doesn't like me or other people that I've noticed so far, but for battles this guy can take hits." Slade said with a hint of smugness in his voice. "Whoa, look at the time, I think soon we should go. Unless you two have something you want to do or have any last thoughts I'm off." He said tipping his hats to his friends. For some reason now he has this weird feeling around Danielle but for now he'll disregard it. ((Last post for Chapter 1 unless Jory has something else planned))

Who is your favorite NPC and why? Devin kuz dragons :3 Who is your least favorite NPC and why? No one because I only have read a few. What do you think will happen plot-wise (first year)? RoG attacks the academy. What do you think of me as a host? You are a good host, you put detail in your updates. Is there anything you like to see as an event in this RP? Maybe, the students could go into the forest and meet Laparus to help catch them a water type. Is there anything else I can improve upon? Not that I see. What's your favorite ship?     "A little training wouldn't hurt, and I'm sure Flare would love to train with a friend." Flare yipped after Slade had finished his sentence. "Well that confirms Flare, how about you TX?" The floating ball ignored Slade entirely. "Come on don't be like that." He then knocked on the shiny bronze coat of the magnemite like knocking on a door. 101 then got mad a zapped Slade. "That was good, nice and powerful." He then fell back on the floor after being zapped.

    "Back when I lived in Celadon, this was a Bias going around the city. Since the gym was a grass type gym and what most people use to counter grass is fire, some of the more influential people started a bias against fire types. Any fire type would do whether it be a mono or multi type pokemon if it was a fire type people hated them. Then when I was around six I found Flare here in an alleyway beaten up and hungary and he wasn't too keen to me. He was beaten up and abused by a trainer who caught him then released him on the streets and before that beat him up, so he really didn't like humans. Luckily a teacher gave us oran berries to make poffins with durring school and I took some. So I gave them to Flare here and over time we bonded and became ho we are today. Now when I asked my parents if I could keep Flare in a pokeball." Slade slammed his hand on the table in anger. "They said these words, 'Son why a fire type, out of the pokemon in the world it had to be a fire type. Do you want to know what the neighbors would think if they saw you with that thing, they'd laugh at you or just flat out ignore you. I forbid you from having that growlithe, how about we get you a nice Bellsprout or Oddish instead?' Obviously I said 'no' and I hung out with growlithe after school since. But the kids in school knew I was hanging with him so like my parents said they mocked me, treated me like dirt, they even called me 'Burnt Boy' or any assortment of insults, but I didn't care, if they couldn't accept me then I knew Flare would. Then one day I though, why not put Flare in a pokeball, though I was too young to buy one so I persuade a wandering trainer to give me one." "So for the next ten or so years I kept Flare a secret from my family until on person ratted me out and then my parents forced me to release my pokemon. I was furious, they though their social status was more important then their own son's happiness so I ran from Celadon, I ran straight to Vermilion City and bought a ticket for the academy and signed up for the trainer program, because Flare is more important to me and more loving then my family ever was. Sorry if I got a little emotional there, It just really pisses me off when I think about it. Anyways I don't know if that helped or not but I told my story, Jacob your turn." Slade said smirking at Jacob finishing off his little story with a little humor to lighten the mood a little.

    Slade listened as Danielle told her story. The bias against pokemon always despised him, whether it be the pokemon's type or species. The thought of people trying to kill a pokemon just because of a pokedex entry disgusted him. He could level with Danielle to a point, and he was going to make sure that this won't haunt his friend longer then it has to. "Danielle, I can completely level with you being traumatized by this experience. Actually I have a similar case when I was with Flare in Celadon City in Kanto. I want you to hear my story, it is somewhat like yours so would you mind listening to mine? I believe that this is relevant to what you are dealing with." Slade said with a serious tone in his voice. Flare let out a whimper as to what Slade's story entailed.

    "You sure?" Slade asked with his eyebrow raised. "I don't to intrude so if you want me to leave I'll be happy to oblige." He then moved tables and sat next to Jacob. "Anyways, lets hear about this 'treat'." Slade said giving his full attention to Danielle. ~~~===~~~ Flare looked over at the bug greeting him and he replied with a few seconds of sniffing then a yip. He seemed to have some leftover fire-type pokefood left and he nudged them over to his newly made friend.

    "Come on girls, onto ol' Star Blazer." That was the name of their black and white spotted horse. Luckily Zolivar new the streets of his home well and went straight to Van's house with the girls and Star Blazer. Incidentally he still had the weapons and armor on from before.

    Slade was into his music, his eyes were closed and the headphones emitted a vibration due to the extremely loud volume. A soft humming an be heard from Slade while he sunk into the sound. It wasn't until TX, not doing anything at the moment nudged Slade and alerted him to the man behind him with his hand out. Slade was a little shocked, (and not by 101) he never noticed them even approach him and now he wants to shake hands. Eh, it could be worse, he could eat alone and probably wouldn't be as fun so he took off his headphones on lowered the volume. He then shook the man's hand and said, "I'm Slade, sorry it took so long for me to notice you guys I was sinking into my beats." That's when he noticed the girl sitting in front of him, it was Danielle. "Hey, Danielle I didn't know you were here either, so what is this man your date? Ha, just kidding or am I?" Slade said mysteriously. "Anyways joking aside mind if I join you two or is this private?" He asked chuckling a bit.

    Slade and Flare finished this obby with little to not sweat, it was TX who was having the trouble. Slade and Flare were used to this kind of stuff due to their past, though TX didn't seem to have much experience with rigorous training. As the three got lunch, well two, Slade never saw 101 eat anything, maybe its because he doesn't have a mouth but if 101 was ok with not eating food why force him? He clearly knows himself more then Slade does. They made their way to an empty table since the only friends Slade had made, being Mareek and Danielle were busy, Mareek was chatting it up with a girl and Danielle a guy. Slade felt alone, though he always felt alone, his parents were barely home if ever, he wasn't the best at first impressions or making friends and who wears a fedora nowadays. Usually when he felt alone he puts on his headphones and sinks into his music, not caring about anything else because in his life right now the only thing he cares... actually he doesn't know what he cares about. He has Flare and TX, that's a given, He has his only two friends Mareek and Danielle who seem to be hanging out with others and have their own goals, but Slade just signed up as a trainer to find something to do in his time. He has no other motivation, not to be the best like no one ever was, not to be a coordinator, not a breeder, hell he only choose to be a trainer because it sounded more fun than the other to options. As Slade sat there alone thinking of what he is gonna do with his life he started to get a little depressed.

    "Well, I best get to the first year trainer class, Danielle hope you get better." Slade tipped his hat to the maiden and left for class with both of his pokemon by his side.

    Welp, there goes any chance of me adding anything before she gets up, dang time zones. :T Edit: right when I have an idea to deal with the time zones I get ninja'd. Let's just I was there but didn't say anything. -sigh-
