  1. Belros took a sip from his drink as he listened to Emilee sing. Singing like this in a bar is bound to bring unwanted attention but they didn't make bad music. What's worse is that he couldn't focus on anything else in the bar besides their music playing. "I mean those two are good but they have to be joking right now. Oh well, I guess I'll just enjoy it for now. I just hope those two don't start something terrible. Then I'd have to help clean up their mess."
  2. "Heh, alright I'll keep that in mind." Belros chuckled as he made his way towards the door. "Well thanks for the bow as well as the info, I'll be heading out now." He left out the door making his way to the bar. This whole situation seems a bit fishy and taverns as usually the best place for picking up gossip. As he entered he noticed Cass and Emilee talking together over a couple of drinks. Never would've thought Cass was so slick with the ladies. Not wanting to be a bother he took a seat a couple seats down from them blending into the crowd "One mug please." He spoke to one of the employees and waited for his drink. As he waited he listened for any interesting conversations coming from the people in the bar, but also kept an eye on his comrades. Belros still didn't trust Cass and he wouldn't risk letting him harm Emilee.
  3. "So its a feud between two groups huh." He lays down 400 Vespers and places the bow on his back underneath his cloak. He knows a little about the Romani family, mostly that they own a brewery but he didn't know much about the northern baron. Might as well ask. "Could you tell me a bit about the northern baron? I haven't much about the man himself."
  4. "Romani family huh? That's the people the boat captain was talking about, this could be bad." He thought to himself. That seemed like the more pressing information at the moment. He took an Iron Longbow to the counter where there keeper was. "How about 400 Vespers for this bow? Also, have you heard about the Romani's? Apparently an incident happened there recently."
  5. Belros looked at the longbows in stock. He was having trouble deciding which one he wanted but he ultimately went with a basic Iron one due to it being the lightest out of all of them. He then picks up on the people inside talking about something. Pretending he's still deciding which bow he wants, he listens in on their conversation. Maybe he'll find out a nice juicy bit of gossip.
  6. "Alright I'll head over there then, thanks for tip." With that he waves as he exits out the door. His new destination, that mentioned archery shop. Hopefully they have a long range bow. He's always liked picking off people from such a far distance. It'll be nice to have a bow back on him again.
  7. Belros leaves 500 Vespers on the table with the Dagger and takes the Scimitar. "Pleasure doing business with you." He thinks for a moment before asking the man. "Hey, would you happen to know where I could get my hands on a bow in this town? Been looking for one here but bought this gem instead. Ha ha!" He chuckles as he asks his question to the shopkeeper.
  8. Belros takes a look at their selection but sadly no bows. However, one item did grab his attention. It was a Scimitar though it was a bit pricey. I wonder if there was anyways he could lower the price. He then looked at the dagger on his hip. He really would have no need for it after getting this sword, maybe if he traded it in the shop keeper would lower the price of that blade. He takes one of the blades of the rack and brings it to the counter with the shop keeper. "So I was looking to buy this blade but it seems a bit pricey for my tastes and I wanted to know if you'd be willing to lower the price of it." He takes out the Iron Dagger from his side and places it on the table. "How about I give you 500 Vespers and this pristine Iron Dagger here for that blade. This Dagger may have been used once or twice but it's nothing a quick run on the grindstone can't fix. So what do ya say? Deal?"
  9. Belros jumped off the boat and onto the dock. After that one incident not too long ago he'd prefer to be on as little boats as possible. "Finally, solid ground. Take as much take as you want prepping for Z'ark, I'm not too fond of boat rides so I don't mind waiting a bit!" He spoke cheerfully stretching out his legs. Honestly he was not looking forward to going to Z'ark but what could he do? He turned to the group and spoke, "Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and shop with this new cash. Anyone may join if they wish." Though after admitting he was with the enemy for a while he didn't expect anyone to follow. He wouldn't trust nor follow himself if he were in the others shoes. With that he went to what seemed like an armory. He's mainly looking for a bow, but he'll take a look at the swords and daggers too.
  10. "In short, Rico was the reason I left the guild." Belros spoke bluntly, "We called him, Rico "The Viper", as slithery as a snake as well as as lethal as a viper. He had been with the guild before I joined. They say he was the most ruthless in the guild and the was strogest next to the guild master. Recently, however, I found out something interesting about him. Apparently he had been conspiring with some outside group to take out the guild. Currenty, I don't know who or whaat this group is but he was going to betray us. So when I found out I left, or more like it wasn't safe there. Aparently by take out the guild he wanted to take control of it. Of course I tried to tell the guild master but without proof it was little more then conjecture to him. So I left, joined the royal and while here I'd search out information about that group but it seems that they were closer to their goal then I first thought."
  11. "No, already! Goddess why!" Belros slams his fist against a nearby tree in anger. He was too slow to stop him. He turned to the group anger deep within his eyes. "Okay, change of plans, you want to know about the guild? Fine. The guild I once knew is dead so why keep the secrets of the deceased. I just hope I can save the remnants of it before it's too late. So ask away, I'm an open book."
  12. "This is the first I've heard of this. The guild leader would never order us to gather this much weaponry, even for a major heist. And why are they headed where we're going?" He crossed his arms pondering why in the hell would the guild be needing this many weapons in Kabumu. Guild rule number 15# 'Avoid killing as much as possible'. What exactly happened when he left for them to do this? Wait, he couldn't have could he? In this short amount of time? Things maybe worse than he first expected. He turned to the rest of the crew. "You three, was there any place where Scion kept his private things? A drawer, a bag, hell even a giant chest if he was that idiotic. I need to see if what I suspect maybe true."
  13. "Yea I understand, getting you angry will make things heated, literally. Besides, I don't want to drag you guys into guild business well as least as possible seeing as how we just had a fight with one of 'em. But I doubt we'll run into anymore. Plus, I don't think our current job has anything to do with them. I'd be surprised if it did." Belros chuckled in response to the mage
  14. "When I say I left, I mean I left. However, that does not mean I'll go against them. Just like if I were to leave this group I wouldn't give any info about you guys to your enemies. I still think many of them as friends it's just some apparently have a grudge on me. My honor as a thief is why I won't speak more." He paused before adding one more thing. "I left because of circumstances I couldn't control nor could I accept."
  15. "This was the first I've heard of that bounty so I'm just as confused as you." Belros replied before thinking in his head. "Though seeing as he was gonna get the reward from Rico I shouldn't be surprised." "Oh, and the guild I was in was a thieves guild called The Silver Raven. I would show you their emblem but they kinda took that off me when I left. Besides, even if I did have it I wouldn't show it to you, it's against guild law to show it. Hell, even telling you their name is risky."
  16. Belros looked over to see Darius walking over towards him, and he wasn't too happy about it. He knew why of course but explaining things was always a hassle. He let out a silent groan before Darius spoke. "Hey now, no need to be so harsh. I'M the one who nearly got killed by him not you." He responded jokingly. "We were just in the same guild for a time. No more, no less." he shrugged "That is really all there is too it, and if you couldn't tell I'm no longer a part of it. So you don't have to worry about a knife in your back. Ha ha."
  17. "Strong? Yes. Invincible? Not so much. I myself should know that better than anyone after today. You never know when a friend or a loved one will fall, and it's especially apparent during battle. I don't know how I could handle another ally's blood on my hands because I couldn't protect them or they risked everything for me. We don't know what hardships are ahead and it may be too big for any of us to handle."
  18. "All I know is that if it were me I'd never forgive someone like that. Even if they really did decide to change." He looks towards the boats at the docks. "Hopefully we can figure out a way to get back on track soon. They wanted us over at our destination for a reason, and for all we know something major maybe happening there while we're all stuck here."
  19. "Is it really that easy though?" Belros felt a bit skeptical of the whole thing. "Could you really justify calling a serial killer a good person because he decided to turn over a new leaf? He could never bring back the lives he took nor did he kill them by accident. I doubt many people would forgive him let alone let him walk around freely. So how could he possibly become a good person?"
  20. Jade O'Duffle "I wonder whats taking everyone so long..." Jade mumbles to himself. He wonders how he'll get rid on the plating on the door then he sees the pure black eco and green eco and comes up with an idea. He'll cover himself in a coat of the green jelly before picking up the black goop and throwing it at the door. Hopefully it'll corrode the plating on the door. Covers Himself in the green globs before picking up some black globs and throwing it at the metal plates on the door
  21. "Well at least that's good to hear." Belros responded relieved. "Though I may have you work to keep up that last comment. I can't promise that I'll be good all the time but I'll make sure to think twice about doing a bad deed. Ha ha." He paused for a moment, thinking whether or not to ask this question, but decided to anyways. "Say, in your opinion, is there ever a point where someone does something so bad that they could never go back to being a good person?"
  22. "Heh, wasn't I the one who was suppose to protect you?" Belros chuckled as Emilee started healing the wound. He didn't want to bother her but it seems he can't help it. "Sorry for being a burden on you. I know how much you don't like affiliating yourself with people like me so I'll leave as quick as possible." Belros apologized to Emilee. He didn't want to end with a fight like last time. Last thing he wants is for this situation to become worse.
  23. "Oh, that could be a problem." Belros spoke worried about their current situation. Being stuck on an island for a month was not part of the plan. A lot can happen in a week let alone a month. He crossed his arms as he thought about what they could do. Maybe they could take a boat to a more popular location, would that take less than a month? As he was pondering he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He got on his knee and put his hand on his right hand on his chest. The location of the pain was where Scion previously lodged a dagger in his gut. "Damn! Ugh, I guess it hasn't fully healed... I shouldn't have been so careless to let this happen." Belros muttered as the wound send pulsing waves of pain throughout his chest.
  24. "Well I'm sure we could just wait, I mean how long until the next boat?" Belros asked Madante curiously. Hopefully they weren't stranded here just like that women. That would not be good for anyone involved.
  25. "Oh, her. None more than you. I don't know her name but she did help us during the fight." Belros spoke a bit concerned about the women's reaction. Remind him never to get on her bad side. "Other than that, all I know is that she's a friend of Darius and nothing more. If you want more details ask Darius or the lady herself."
