Genis, Folie, "The House of Genis" "Oh, yeah, yeah, looking real nice here kid, real nice...bet it took ya a long time to make it, huh?" His face had a big smile on it."Yea! I was super lucky to find two walls that were relatively the same size." These guys obviously were amazed by his great building techniques. Those two other guys are even walking away in shame! However, Genis was not prepared for the following question. "But kid, I gotta a question... this is a pretty nice space and all, but, I only see provisions and rations for one... where's ya parents?" As soon as those last words came out the world seemed to stop for a brief moment. His smile started breaking but he forced one out though it wasn't that big. "My p-parents?" His voice shook a little trying to get that word out from his chest. He paused for a brief moment adjusting his scarf as to buy more time before answering his question.. "They um... they aren't... here." He was holding back tears, however you couldn't tell by looking at his face. He's become quite proficient in hiding the salty liquid from other people. -
