  1. Mr. Taylor is going to wake up, so I'm giving his body some time to regain all of the memories, that's why he's still out. Though he'll probably wake up soon, maybe in the middle of the bridge.
  2. Clint darted forward towards the creature and tossed the sphere he had in his hands towards Articuno. The ball landed near and with a white flash, she emerged. Upon arrival the freshly healed Onix gave out a huge roar as it eyed up it's opponent. "Alright, Pimparella get that fucker on the ground, wrap around it's wings!" The Onix charged at the bird, a new vigor in it's eyes. It wasn't usually the undersized opponent in battle, but still Pimparella new that she had to obey her master. She shot forward trying her best to get her body around the massive bird.
  3. So currently Ethic, Kenny, and Mr. Taylor are down for the count and the rest of the group still has to get past the bridge. We're only on the second level and the group is in some serious trouble. I seriously wonder what we're going to do as we fall further and further into the abyss...
  4. Jude let out a soft smile as the girl spoke. Her words towards Zweiss, some about himself, were full of vinegar. But, her stare? That was true hatred, hatred which he assumed, Zweiss had every intention of utilizing. Her turned to Zweiss, fully ignoring the girl for the moment, "Is she really worth our time? It is true that she is one of the lord's sacred children, blessed by his light." He paused for a moment,, "But, her gift is... weak, unpolished, perhaps better fit in a low end horror movie." He looked at Cassidy full on now, his face showed no signs of fear, happiness, or sadness. It showed but one emotion. Pure, unadulterated ferocity. "Perhaps it would be best if you ran girl, those who fear worms such as these pathetic unawakened have no place doing the true work of the lord." He turned and started to walk away. He'd hope that he'd seen right. The girl had vigor, a yearning for strength. She just lacked understanding. Understanding of the lords true message, that the awakened were here to cleanse this world and build a true Utopia. Zweiss understood that and that is why Jude would follow him. His gift was the strongest Jude had ever seen. It was clear that he was God's truest messenger and Jude as he had sworn to the lord himself, would be his right hand.
  5. I have some mixed feelings about this post. I'm a little sad to see this RP getting paused. I feel like we've all created great characters and Stratos has made Pokemon boot camp a memorable and wonderful thing. However, I can't help but agree. If Project Sky Slayer is any hint at a world Stratos is capable of creating then I'd be excited to see what he'd be able to do with the same amount of time put into it. This RP is one of my favorites and I'd really like it to reach it's full potential, even if it has to be put on pause for a while. Also, don't be afraid to shoot me a PM about working on this. Since I've joined I've put some thought into the way the world could be built and I'd like to think I have some good ideas and I'd be happy to give help whenever needed.
  6. Maximus nodded at Rodriguez, understanding their need to be alone for a moment. He turned and began to walk down the walk-way, before stopping suddenly. He turned back to the bartender, a glint of happiness in his eye, "Thank you ... for showing a stranger hospitality." His face turned to a smile, "You are a true friend, and I am in your debt." He turned again and ran from the alley way full sprint. Tonight could be a night that historians talked about. At first Maximus had thought it may be just a ploy by the church to try and retain power. Resurrection didn't happen, but after seeing the Sky Slayer himself? This resurrection was happening, and tonight would be a night to remember.
  7. Maximus had a hard time watching the embrace between Esmerelda and Rodriguez. Her story ... it was just too touching. Maximus had felt the pain of betrayal, of failure, and even physical pain, but he never had suffered true pain, the pain of loss. He always did his best to empathize with people in her position, but it was always a shallow empathy. Not that he didn't care it was just that he didn't understand. Or rather that he couldn't understand. Maximus looked away and did his best to mind his own business until they seemed to be done with the embrace. "Perhaps, you're right," he said to Rodriguez, trying his best to keep his tone solemn, but also trying to redirect them from the current topic, "There's no point in missing the resurrection, especially not if the sky slayer intends to repeat history."
  8. Maximus gave a sigh of relief as he saw Stratos jumping away. Rodriguez looked at Maximus. "so..." he said "You decided to come and help?" "Yeah..." Maximus let out, "I figured you might need a hand." He let out a curt laugh, "Though I didn't think it'd be with the god damn sky slayer."
  9. Maximus took a step back, his bright green eyes, which usually were filled with either joy or rage were now filled with a new emotion. Fear. It was very clear that Maximus and his friends were out classed here. Maximus may have fancied himself to be a fine warrior, capable of taking most opponents in a fight. But, this .... this was the sky slayer, a man of legend. He had heard much of the man in his youth, most people hated him, but he was a dragoon, a man from the Drake Veil, and as such it was true that he had something in common with Maximus. Even if that something was separated by 400 or so years. Maximus swallowed back his fear and awe, he knew that the sky slayer had to be answered, or else he'd slaughter them in the street. "No man has called you evil here," he said, not knowing the truth of that statement, since he'd arrived well after Esmerelda and Rodriguez. "Your quarrels with Azuaqyar are your own. I personally pass no judgement on your actions against him."
  10. Maximus rounded the last corner, he had finished off his hunk of meat and there was just one bite of pork remaining. He turned to see Rodriguez, Ezmerelda, the thief from before and ... was that an Ekarder. The man's lance instantly caught his eye, there was no mistaking it, it was a drake lance. He rushed forward as Rodriguez began to glow, clearly he was tuning into the spheres once again. This was a mistake, clearly this Ekarder was reacting in the same way he had earlier. "Stop!" he called as he rushed forward. "There is no need for bloodshed Ekarder, this is a good man." He finally had made his way into the alleyway and was standing right beside Rodriguez. He put his hand on his shoulder. "Please friend, you don't want to do this put the weapon down..." he then turned to the Ekarder, about to plead with him to drop his weapon, but when he turned to look at him, he finally got a glimpse of his eyes. Gold as the Sun. He looked up quickly to see his hair. Just as he'd though, white as snow. His jaw dropped. What was left of the pork hit the ground. "You... you can't be..." Maximus stepped back a mixture of fear and respect flooded his face, "Sky slayer?!"
  11. I hope so. I'm going to do my best not to force it, so it'll all be relative to the plot, however I can't imagine a nice reason for Mr. Taylor to use his power not coming up any time soon.
  12. Maximus tore through the streets, while chomping on his meats. Trying to get a figure of which way the man had taken off too. He had come to the realization that the waitress from earlier, the one who had threatened the thief and that he had in turn threatened had been missing. He figured she had gone out for vengeance and that Rodriguez was headed out to stop her. Maximus could only hope he reached her in time. He turned another corner to catch a glimpse of Rodriguez standing at a crossroads. The Ekarder as about to call out to him, but his mouth was full of pork. Maximus chewed ravenously trying to get the food down then swallowed, ready to call out. However, before he got the chance a loud scream was heard, and Rodriguez quickly headed towards it. Maximus's eyes grew wide, hoping that he and the bartender weren't too late and followed behind Rodriguez.
  13. Don't worry with the amount of chaos going on we'll meet up with Michael or hell maybe even Mike soon enough.
  14. A violent scream rushed from Michael's lips as he dropped the girl and fell to his knees. He looked down at his hand, it was disfigured and totally broken. He was out of breath from all of the running, he was tired and his body felt as though it could collapse at any minute. He looked from his hand at the rest of the group, vile hatred spewing from his mouth, "You ... you're all despicable. If this place is hell, then I can see why you bastards are stuck down here with me" He let out another short breath, then the eyes rolled to the back of his head. His energy was completely exhausted and he collapsed right next to Rose's body.
  15. Michael stepped back as the woman appeared. She had cuts all over her hand, and she didn't seem to move in a human way. There was no doubt about it, she was clearly one of the leader of the zombie things. But, still despite the fact that she was one of them it didn't seem to stop her from wanting Rose, her reason for wanting her didn't matter, it was a weakness that Michael knew he'd have to exploit. He quickly pulled out his pistol and placed it against Rose's head. "Step back, demon, or your friend won't be moving." Of course Michael didn't mean it, he'd never shoot the girl, but it was the only way he could think of to get her out of here and to safety, so he hoped that Annie would fall for the trick.
  16. Was that... was that the girls from earlier that just ran by. Michael peeped out of his hiding spot, it was. And they had that girl, the older one. He wasn't quite sure why, but she liked so much like her. Michael sighed, he knew he had to be a damn hero now. But, then again he was Michael Taylor, hero was just his middle name. He took off after them, but started losing ground immediately, until he saw them catch up to the rest of the group.Usually Michael would have turned tail here, but he decided to cut his losses, he figured it was better to be around crazy people, than no people right now. And besides after seeing what was happening, maybe he was a crazy person. Well, maybe being around them wasn't about to happen after all... The girls ran straight past the group of kidnappers. No problem there for Michael, who quickly followed suit. Then he saw them take the final step and suddenly Rose had collapsed. Michael pushed harder now, his body was on the verge of giving out, but he kept going until he reached her. And then he suddenly picked her up and took off in the other direction.
  17. Clint nodded, "Sounds good Nate, just don't worry about hitting Pimparella, she can take the heat."
  18. I'm loving the Clint and Sid on the same side reactions. We may not be the brightest characters, but you guys can be damn sure the left side is going to be causing nothing but destruction. Right typh?
  19. Maximus watched as Rodriguez made his way out of the bar. Rodriguez was skilled in magic, but the Ekarder knew he'd be able to lend the barkeep a pair of hands. Maximus stood up and took a huge swig from his jug, no point in wasting good ale, then looked down at the delicious meat that now laid on his plate. Again, there was no point in wasting fresh meat, so Maximus decided he'd have his meal on the road. He picked up both slabs of meat, one in each hand and turned to the new waiter, "Romon, I believe it was, I expect a fresh ale waiting in this spot when I return." With that Maximus walked out the door chomping on his slab of beef, in search of Rodriguez.
  20. Maximus clapped as his mug arrived. This guy was pretty good. In the Drake Vale, tapping in to the spheres wasn't too common a practice, especially not for tavern owners. Maximus decided to keep on drinking, if he wasn't wasting his Mytas, then why stop. He took another swig from the mug and waited patiently for his food to arrive.
  21. "Now, my friend," he began "Don't ever call magick 'cheap' again; for your own sake... there are many people in this world capable of proving that statement very wrong." with that Rodriguez disappeared from out of the counter and into a small hallway leading to the kitchen. Maximus cursed under his breath, of course he'd insulted a mage. He sighed as Rodriguez walked away and took a swig from the ale he'd been given. It was quite good, good enough to make a man like Maximus apologize for insulting Rodriguez. It wasn't that Maximus hated mages or Cithalocism, it was just that those things weren't nearly as important to an Ekarder as they were to the life here. He didn't quite understand how men could be so eager to please a deity that they'd leave there own friends and family to suffer. Maximus looked down at the mug, empty. He'd been absentmindedly drinking away while he was lost in though. Maximus looked over in the direction that Rodriguez had left through, only to note that the man was still in the kitchen. He decided to call out to the man, feeling the effects of the ale starting to take hold, "Barkeep, another Ale when you have the chance."
  22. I'm still haunted by trying to hunt down that Tauros in the safari zone when I was a kid...
