Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]
Supernovae replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Well, I meant that if one of Hell's cronies called him up and decided to clear his memory, like Minos had already done. But, yeah I have a different plan for Mr. Taylor right now. He might be riding a solo train for a little while.- 1735 replies

Mr. Taylor looked aghast as the boy explained his story. To start he noticed a young girl waking up, wondering what was happening. Then next this boy, who now claimed they were in hell, had just killed somebody named Scott, which of course led to the agreement of an overly armed man in the background. It was starting to become obvious to him ... he and the girl, along with perhaps the young girl and the other gentleman had been kidnapped by the murderer kid and the super armed guy. He felt kind of bad for the kid, did he realize who they had just kidnapped? He was Michael god damn Taylor, the Indiana Jones of the real world, and these punks weren't about to take him for a ride. He reached in to his pocket, trying to find something useful and wait hold up... Is that a gun? Did these idiots really forget to disarm their prisoner. Mr. Taylor smirked, and thought about how that would be a mistake that these idiots wouldn't live to regret. He quickly pulled the gun out and aimed it directly at the armed guy's head. "Alright, drop them," he then turned to the kid, "And drop the sword too kid. I don't know who bastards think you are drugging me and all of these helpless victims, but you two picked the wrong archeologist to try and take hostage." Mr. Taylor then turned to Rose, "Don't worry sugar, everything's fine now. These bastards won't get ... whatever the hell they want out of us." -

Just so everyone knows the toll on restoring a human life for Mr. Taylor is HUGE, so he thinks it's about 20 to 30 years prior and it'll take him a good bit longer (perhaps a good portion of this chapter) for him to restore it, unless of course someone else restores it for him.- 1735 replies

I'll do my best to avoid having them meet. Right now though it should be a non issue since restoring Ethic cost him a significant portion of his memory.- 1735 replies

Clint turned back from looking at the counter to hear someone talking to him. "Yo tough guy, the general just open some secret armory down the fort, I suggest you grab one of those equipment. I wouldn't be relying on our GAO's too much, seeing that thing just blew the bajesus out of the entire army. " Clint sighed, it was Sid. Clint wasn't a huge fan of Sid, he'd certainly grown on him since the first day of camp, but Clint was still reluctant to trust him. He just had the smell of a street rat. But, still Clint knew he had a point here, he'd seen a lot of the bodies on his way over, perhaps he'd been overzealous in his trust of Pimparella. Clint let out another sigh and turned to Sid. "Alright, Sid I'll go check it out. Besides it's not like I've been waiting to shoot something since I got here." There was little truth in that previous statement, Clint knew how to use a gun, but he preferred not too and in fact was a little turned off by the idea of using them. Clint pushed off the counter and turned around, starting to head in the direction of the armory. "Oh yeah...' he turned back to Sid, "Just stay alive alright kid..." Clint then turned back to head over to the armory. Reaching in to his pocket for a cigarette. He knew this may be his last walk down this hall way and he was pressed for time so he'd just have to make due with enjoying his potential last cigarette while walking. However, as he looked back up from retrieving the cigarette he noticed Jory and Surge walking in the same direction. Normally, he'd try and catch up to them and make some small talk. But, today was a little different, today Clint wasn't in the joking mood. So he decided to hang back, quietly walking behind them.

Mr. Taylor looked at the boy in utter confusion. "Who ... who are you?" he asked with a half-scared/half-angry expression, but that wasn't all, his voice sounded much younger. He stepped back and looked around the group, not recognizing any of there faces, "But, I .... I was just in Egypt, we were in the tombs, what in the hell is going on here!?" he finally demanded of the group. -

Mr. Taylor watched the scene as it occurred. He didn't call out, he didn't make a sound all he did was watch as Ethic slaughtered the goth, just as the goth had done to him earlier. But, as it ended Mr. Taylor couldn't bear it any more, the boy now had died twice in the same day, hell the same hour. Mr. Taylor staggered out of the tree, cuts still littered his body, but this time he couldn't stand idly by any more. When he reached the ground he limped slowly on his cane towards the body, a green aura starting to consume his body. "Please all of you, if you wouldn't mind standing back, then I think I may be able to help the lad," he called out to the group, eyeing the rat man in particular, hoping he wouldn't take his chance to attack. In trust Mr. Taylor didn't know if he'd be able to revive Ethic. But, he did know that every time he used his power his short term memory was temporarily destroyed and in this situation, that draw back seemed to be a blessing. At this point Mr. Taylor had finally reached the body, tears now building in his eyes. Ethic up until this point had been his friend, perhaps even more than that, he'd been family to an old man who never had one of his own, they all had been family in one way or another. "I won't let you die out here," he whispered somberly to the motionless body. The green aura grew around Mr. Taylor who extended his hand outward to Ethic, "Not again..." -

Yeah, Clint's got a mixture of what Ty and Strat said. Right now he's probably a little scared, but instead of actually acting scared he's overcompensating by going full alpha male. His past experiences raised on the streets( witnessed a fireball hurtling houndoom snacking on his neighbor, etc.) mixed with his already rambunctious personality creates a very bad reaction to the situation he currently finds himself in.- 1189 replies

Clint nodded at Lars, "That's right. That bastard doesn't stand a chance." He turned to the rest of the group. "Look you guys plan all you want, but all I need is my strength and the strength of my partners." A fire now burnt in his eyes, something that was quite unlike Clint's usual laid back behavior. "I know that thing is bigger than Pimparella here, but it's just a lame chicken with some snow flowing off of it, it's got nothing on Pimparella, she's a beast and all that chicken does is hide behind some snow." Clint looked back to the healing center. "That's it I'm not just going to stand around here anymore while that blue jay starts building up it's snow or whatever, I'm going to get healed up, then I'm going to kill it. Meet me over there when you're all done fooling around, or just stay here and watch me kill it, it's your choice." With that Clint started heading over to the healing center.

The Awakened - First Pillar (IC Thread)
Supernovae replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Jude patiently waited behind the master of gravity as he made short work of the police. And introduced himself to the girl. Her name was Cassidy and Jude could see she was not like most of the awakened who were still children. There was a darkness to the girl, something unseen. Perhaps in her tone or in her bitten up finger nails or just the look in her eyes. Whatever it was, Jude couldn't quite place it. But to him, despite being able to see through her calm demeanor, she was one of God's chosen people and hopefully a future ally. While Jude was lost in thought looking at the girl he noticed one of the officers pushing madly at there arms in an attempt to reach his gun. Jude slowly approached the officer who was still madly pushing, despite little success, to reach his gun. "You pathetic worm," Jude said as he reached for his blade. The officers eyes opened wide, and then closed. Jude pulled the sword from between the officers eyes, which was now crimson with blood. He then looked around at the remaining officers as any movement they may have had prior to that had ceased entirely. Jude smirked and turned back to watch the recruitment of Cassidy. -

Mr. Taylor sat back and noticed Quincy moving in on Rose. "That monster ..." he whispered to himself, silently aiming at the back of his head. However, the rat had helped them in there fight against the Goth, so he decided he'd wait until he pulled the trigger, but any sudden movements would spell doom for the rat. -
[OOC/Sign-ups] Surge Story
Supernovae replied to Sutoratosu's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
50 feet would put it at about 1/6 of the length of a football field. That sounds pretty fair to me, though I think I'll still have Clint think his Onix can rip it to shreads, even though it totally can't. It would also be pretty close to 10 people high (average person is more than 5 feet, but I'm just doing some rough rounding here.) So that sounds pretty good to me and I hope that helps in determining how big the thing is supposed to be. If we're ramping up it's scale by 10, then it's weight would likewise have to be multiplied by 10 which would put it at about 1,220 lbs. So yeah, it's about twice as big as an Onix at that scale.- 1189 replies

Mr. Taylor smirked a little as the man threw himself in the air. Admittedly he wasn't all too happy when the rat man showed up, causing his aim to be thrown off, but it was inconsequential now. He had him in his sights, and to make matters better he was facing away from him, there was no way he'd see this one coming. "This one's for Ethic," Mr. Taylor whispered to himself as he pulled the trigger, his gun aimed directly at the Goth's head. -

Just how big is this Articuno? According to serebii, Onix is 28'10" tall, and 463 lbs. Articuno is 5'07" tall and 122 lbs. Even if we quadruple Articuno's size it's still no as tall and only slightly heavier than an Onix. I totally get Articuno being able to mess up my Onix, but my Onix should at least be close in size.- 1189 replies

Mr. Taylor had taken in the scene from the tree tops, he wanted to cry out to Ethic, but he knew it would only make things worse, instead he sat back and tried to aim. However, before he had gotten the chance the girly looking boy had taken Ethic's life. He again held back calling out and rushing on to the field. It would have been foolish for an old man to try and engage that thing in combat, however fortunately for him Annie and Kenny had taken the fight. At the current moment he noticed Annie charging him and if he predicted correctly the man would have to dodge to his left. So that's where Mr. Taylor aimed, waiting patiently for the man to make his move, so that he could put a slug in between his eyes. -
Clint sighed as he walked behind everyone and listened to there strategies. After Sid's remark about tasering it though he had enough. "Look guys, there's only one strategy we need to take that thing a part." He grabbed Pimparella's container and showed it to the rest of the group. "Electricity, fire, whatever use that stuff to get it on the ground, but once big Pimparella here can get her snout around that bird, it's nothin but snake food."

Clint looked over at Nathan a mixture of pity and remorse flooded over him. He felt sorry for the guy, but at the same time he was thankful that he didn't currently have a bullet in his leg. He turned and addressed the general, "Uhh .. yeah, speaking of injuries, are we gonna be able to heal up our GAOs before we go after that thing. Pimparella probably had too many icicles in her mouth and now she's down for the count, not the first time it's happened, but still. I'd certainly like to have my giant ass monster if I'm going to be fighting a giant ass monster."

Well the only way I could think of making Jude's ability work, from a physics stand point is quantum tunneling. Tunneling is a process that allows particles to 'jump' through walls, whether they be electric potential walls or actual physical walls. However, in reality this is something that has a low chance of happening, but for Jude I'd imagine that he would be able to have it happen somewhat subconsciously. That would mean from a physics standpoint the photons released in Lux's rays would blow right through Jude, but I'm just not sure how fair that is. Remember, Jude is still visible when he becomes intangible, he just kind of phases through things. -

Mr. Taylor turned his attention to Annie now deciding to respond to each of her comments in order, "Well yes, I am, but I'm not quite sure how. I was surrounded and about to get ripped a part. Then the next thing I know I'm up in this tree. However, I doubt that was most likely due to the quick action and thinking of you lads and lasses and I thank all of you for it. But, ... as for if we go see this boss, remember who Minos was, how powerful he could be. If we go in there thinking that they're just going to let Kenny open up a portal for us and let us walk out, then there is no way we'll survive that encounter if this boss doesn't want us too. These are the guardians of hell after all and if we are to deceive them then we can't miss anything." -
Clint pulled his hand out of the snow and dug himself up. "We're over here!" he called out to whichever medical unit could help him out. To be honest, Clint knew he was lucky to be alive. When the bird released it's attack, he didn't have time to find cover behind a building so Pimparella decided to be his cover. Clint looked over to the massive Onix who was now laying in the snow with closed eyes. He looked over to its mouth and noticed a fog coming out. "Well at least she's breathing," Clint muttered to himself as he took out it's resting ball and recalled it. Suddenly another hand ripped out of the snow. And Clint leaned down to pull out his Tyrogue. The tiny fighter looked pretty banged up, many bruises covering his skin, but then again Clint probably looked about the same, he was only thankful that they hadn't suffered any major injuries. Clint let out a small smile at the Tyrogue and held out his fist. The tiny fighter returned its master's smile and gave Clint's fist a tiny bump. Then he turned back to any GAOs who may be in the area not really caring he was calling out too. "Yo, is there any way we can get our GAOs fixed up, Pimparella took the brunt of that ... attack for us and I need to get her all fixed up."

Mr. Taylor waited until the man was completely out of site, then turned to Rose. "We shouldn't," he gave her as stern a look as his cheerful old face could, "I've seen my fair share of used car salesman and I'd wager he's one of them." He looked around the tree tops trying to address the rest of the group, "Besides let's not forget where we are, the staff here are demons. It's clearly a trap, but I'm not sure of any other options at the moment, so if the decision is to go up there, than I'd suggest we have an escape plan in case things go sour." -

Speaking of Lux and Viktor (both of whom I like a lot), how do you guys want to have them react with Jude's ability. I'm already of the assumption that anyone with a mind control ability would be able to use it on Jude, even if he is in his intangible state, but I haven't really been able to hash out how light beams and blood clots work with that power. -

Supernovae replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Mr. Taylor woke up to the sound of some man introducing himself. "Oh, hi. I don't think I've seen you around yet, are you new here?" He looked around trying to catch his bearings. He was apparently lying on a tree branch, his body was considerably slashed up and the most of the group had also taken to the trees. His mind was racing trying to figure out, just what had happened, the last thing he could remember was being pinned down by the loving dead. However, none of that mattered now. A new figure appeared and the dead appeared to obey it as master, Mr. Taylor knew that this couldn't be good. However, despite his own worries Rose and Ethic apparently had decided to introduce themselves, he couldn't blame them though, but he knew it would be unwise to keep talking to this man. Mr. Taylor quickly tried to get up, the pain from the cuts burned deeply through his skin, but he managed to push himself up on the branch and stand leaning on the tree behind him, now facing Ethic and Rose. "Ethic, Rose, please don't trust this man, if he's they're master than he must not be our ally," he quietly tried to mouth to the two.
